I love the build up towards thrawn(he's my favorite star wars catboy) and the return of all these important characters. shin and baylan are incredible villains because of how they reflect ahsoka and sabine. I absolutely LOVE that sabine can be a jedi despite not having the force LIKE YES ITS MORE THAN THE POWERS ITS THE PHILOSOPHY!!!! it's such a good direction to take ahsokas character!! like obviously the apprentice she would take would be based on their strength of character that's such an ahsoka thing to do.

Finale Thoughts

- PSYCHED to see crazy green Nightsister shit, and love the Talzin name drop. THE NIGHTSISTERS ARE BACK, BITCHES!

- I love that not only did we get to see some zombie trooper action, but more so we got to see Death Troopers actually earn their name

- It still feels weird to me that Sabine is a Jedi now, but honestly they pulled it off and good for her

- Morgan, sorry to see you go but that was a hell of a fight

- I fully admit that yeah, if you didn't watch Clone Wars you will have no fucking clue what those statues mean

- I wish we got to see more of Baylan and Shin. Really love these characters and want to know what will happen with them.

favorite animated episode might have to be rebels s2x15: the call. i have a lot of favorite rebels eps, but this episode is very special to me. it's got a bit of everything: space whales, found family banter, kanan "definitely sleeping on the couch tonight" banter with hera, good sabine art, good action, SPACE WHALES. i could also give a whole essay on why i think it's an exemplary episode of the themes of rebels overall lol, but yeah. i just love it a LOT.

favorite live action episode: honestly this most recent episode of the acolyte (ep5) knocked me out of the park!!! i haven't been that excited by star wars in a long time! but also ep6 or ep10 of andor (the eye and one way out, respectively). also ep3 of the kenobi show (hayden vader my beloved <3)

this is a broad and maybe generic answer but idc: the Force. especially the Force being somewhat sentient (when it created anakin, knighted kanan, etc.). like the Force in general is SO cool and to think that sometimes it has a mind of its own, and there's parts of it that no Force users will probably ever understand? i love that. and i love when the Force is weird, and Force users do cool shit with it <3

there are many, but i'm going to say ezra bridger! his development from s1 to s4 of rebels is truly phenomenal, and i love his story more and more each time i watch rebels. he's a lot like luke, i think, in the values and themes of star wars that he represents, and i just love him so so much.
