Feel free to ignore this I you don't want to write it, but I would love to see some KaiAo where Aoko is the one finding out about kaito being kid and confronting him about it? Normally I see fics where she finds out by mistake or he tells her and I feel like she's so much more
I’m in a sappy KaiAo mood so have my three favorite MK cliches; rooftops, cape cuddling, and ID reveal.
-
Choices
“Kaito…Kid,” Aoko said, taking a step forward. The wind whipped her hair and uniform skirt. She crossed her arms, huddled in on herself, cold.
“Nakamori-san,” Kaito said, fighting not to show his inward panic.
They had appeared. It was dangerous for her to have followed him to the roof, and strange that she was the only one who had.
“I’d hoped I was wrong,” she said to him, but it was almost as if she’d said it to herself. “But I knew I wasn’t, even at the beginning.”
He had to get her off this rooftop. She could hate him later, so long as she was alive.
He stepped forward, edge of his cape in hand, and whisked it around her, enveloping her with his cape, pulling her close and blocking the likely shot with his body. They’d aim for center mass and hopefully the distance plus the Kevlar would stop it long before it’d hit her.
“Following me was a very foolish thing to do, Nakamori-san,” Kaito chided, voice low.
Aoko looked up at him, eyes wide, blushing at his proximity. Her lips were pink and parted, breath casting clouds in the air.
Her arms came up, and Kaito flinched back, but they only wrapped around him as her head thudded against his chest. “Bakaito,” she said, fingers digging into his suit coat. “Baka, baka, Bakaito.” Each utterance grew louder and more forceful.
Heart racing at her closeness, blush rising to his face, Kaito murmured, “Nakamori-san?”
“I know it’s you,” she said, and her grip tightened. She pulled back and hit his chest softly with her fist. “Jerkaito.”
Kaito swallowed. Plausible deniability. “It’s dangerous to be up here alone with a thief, Nakamori-san.”
She tilted her head. “I’m safe.” She touched his stomach, the thick padding there. “But Kaito is wearing a bulletproof vest.”
“The daughter of the leader of the task force in the arms of the Kaitō Kid?” Kaito tried again. “What will people think?”
Her eyes widened, and it was too late, and Kaito threw a handful of smoke bombs, disappearing into the aether with Aoko tucked at his side as a crack of a powerful rifle cut through the smoke. He pressed the button and sent the dummy off with another explosion of smoke, and a second shot went off, cutting through the glider and sending the dummy into a tailspin.
When the smoke cleared, Kaito and Aoko had made it clear to the other side of the roof, tucked behind the helipad and out of the line of sight—that is, out of the line of sight from the buildings that made good sniper perches.
He still covered her bodily just to be safe, still kept her wrapped in his cape. “Are you all right?” he asked as he checked her for injuries.
“Idiot Kaito,” Aoko said again, and surged into him, wrapping her arms around him tightly. “Dealing with this all alone, all this time.”
“Nakamori-san,” Kaito began, and then trailed off.
“’M not stupid,” she said to his shoulder.
“…I never said you were, Ahoko,” he said, saying just that.
She giggled, and then she sniffed. “Bakaito’s nicer to me as Kaitō Kid. Maybe I like Kid better now.”
“Hey,” Kaito said without any heat.
“I just wish you’d told me,” Aoko said.
“What, so you could go directly to Inspector Nakamori?” Kaito said, unable to hide the tension in his voice.
“No, so Aoko could help,” she said. “You’ve changed, Kaito. The difference isn’t hard to see for someone who has known you as long as I have.”
She grabbed his hand, turned it over in her own, tracing his life line with a finger. Her gentle touch sent shivers through him. “But even in this, Kaito had to protect me. I wanted to help and I caused more trouble for you instead.”
“Since when have you cared about causing trouble for me?” Kaito asked with a grin.
She narrowed her eyes, and said, “Since it meant bullets. What Kaito is into is dangerous. I don’t want to lose anyone else I care about.”
Kaito’s heart lurched. “You care about me?” he teased to hide the rapid beating of his heart. “My, my.”
Aoko glared at him, grabbed him by the lapels, and pulled him into a kiss.
Kaito let out a strangled noise, startled at first, but then he relaxed into it, a gloved hand tentatively reaching up to cup her cheek.
She only pulled away when neither of them could breathe, crossing her arms with a grumpy look on her face. “Of course I care! But Kaito always teases me.”
“You kissed me,” he said.
“I did,” she replied.
Kaito grinned like a maniac. “You like me. Like ‘like’ like.”
Aoko blushed to the roots of her hair. “S-so what if I do?”
“Dangerous,” Kaito purred.
“Still teasing me,” she said, pouting, tucking her hair behind her ear. “I don’t know why I even bother.”
Kaito fluttered his eyes. “Because you think I’m cute?”
“And I don’t know what I was thinking,” she said. Score! Aoko thought he was cute!
Kaito leaned in, and Aoko shivered, and Kaito stopped. “Are you cold?” Kaito asked, concerned.
“A little bit,” Aoko admitted.
So Kaito wrapped an arm around her waist, pulled her flush against his side so she’d absorb his body heat, making sure his cape covered her fully. Aoko shivered again. “Better?” Kaito asked.
“Yes,” Aoko said.
“We’ll have to stay here for a bit,” Kaito said, apologetic. “At least until we know for sure they’re gone.”
“I don’t mind,” Aoko said, resting her head against his shoulder. Kaito didn’t mind, either. Aoko liked him and had kissed him and was leaning against him and he’d wrapped his arm tightly around her waist and she didn’t mind at all.
Oh, but there was one thing that Kaito needed to take care of. He reached into his waistcoat where he’d stashed the large pear-cut diamond, and held it up to the moon while Aoko inhaled sharply.
Nothing.
Kaito sighed, then grabbed Aoko’s hand. He placed the diamond in her palm, and then closed her fingers over it. “Here. You can give it back to your dad. It’s not the one I want.”
Aoko tilted her head again, her gaze measured. “Will you tell me why someday?”
“Yeah. Someday.”
“…Kaito should steal me some jewelry to wear, I always wanted to look fancy,” Aoko said. “The kind with huge gems.”
Kaito’s jaw dropped. “You know I return things, right?”
“I know.” Aoko laughed, because apparently joking about this was something they did now, and then she said, “I only want to wear them for a little bit, I just wanted to see your face. It was great.”
“Now who’s teasing,” Kaito grumbled, and Aoko laughed again. “Hey Aoko?” Kaito asked.
“Hmm?”
“When did you figure it out?”
“I’ve always known, really.” She tapped her heart. “I know your magic. I know your body language and your pranks, I know Kaito,” she pressed. “But I only just decided to stop ignoring it and face it head on.”
“I see,” he said.
“Hey Kaito,” she asked.
“Yeah?”
“Don’t shut me out anymore.”
“Okay,” Kaito said. “I won’t.”

the fact that there's even a 4/sonic tag in the first place raises questions. BUT that being said, it would be hilarious to see even one story in it just for shits and giggles.
i forgot how to save anons as drafts but just. let it be known that id really love to write a s4nic slow burn thing you feel??
anyways. that would take too long, but a cliche high school au is probably okay too. its also a lot longer than i expected it to be
Agent 4 was nervous for a few reasons.
1. She was going into high school!! But… Not any high school… She was going into INKOPOLIS SONIC THE HEDGEHOG MARIO ODYSSEY HIGH SCHOOL!!! It was the most prestigious school ever. It was so prestigious that it made Boku no Hero Academia High School close down!!!!!!! Then all of the Boku no Hero Academia High School Yuuei School students transferred into INKOPOLIS SONIC THE HEDGEHOG MARIO ODYSSEY HIGH SCHOOL so the school was now EVEN MORE PRESTIGIOUS!!!
2. She had classes with the popular kids..!!! She knew she had classes with the popular kids because Marie told her, and Marie is psychic. She said “Your class will have a jock or five in them, loser,” and then she took a bite out of a head of lettuce. Four cried herself to sleep. Her older sister was so mean!!!!
3. One of the jocks was someone she had a MASSIVE CRUSH on!!! And her friend Bakugou Katsuki teased her about it all the time!!! But he was also stupid and dumb because he had a crush on Four’s other sibling Agent 3. And Three was a prep. But he kept trying to romance her!! Only… Three was gay, and she kept telling him that, and he didn’t stop, and it was just so BAKA!!!
Four looked into the mirror. She sighed. Her boring, ocean-blue eyes and glisteningly dull rainbow tentacles wouldn’t make Sonic like her at all! She was just so ugly, and she didn’t understand why she had so many suitors lined up at her door!! And because she had every boy in a 1000 mile radius wanting to date her, all the girls were jealous!!! They HATED her and BULLIED her in a way that is ABSOLUTELY NOT REALISTIC AND QUITE OBVIOUSLY STOLEN FROM A DISNEY MOVIE.
(Well, not all the girls, because some of them were gay, and Four was cool with that and all but she’s not like that, okay? Noah fenced!! XD)
She wore a black corset and fishnets and a cape and a sword and an eyepatch. Sighing to the tune of Welcome to the Black Parade, Four Naruto-ran out the door.
“Oh hi Four,” Bakugou said with an explosion, “Are you excited to be a high school?”
“No!!” she wailed. “I’m terrified!! It’s scary even though it’s pretty much just a more open middle school filled with basically the same people I’ve known my entire life!!”
Bakugou nodded sagely. “I understand perfect, Four. If anyone hurts you, I will kill them.” He punctuated this with another explosion. He didn’t look at it because he was cool. If Four wasn’t madly in love with Sonic, she would probably be madly in love with Bakugou, but Bakugou is madly in love with her gay sister, so maybe not.
“No!!!!!!!!!” she cried. “Don’t kill anyone!!!!!! That’s bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Bakugou gasped. “It is???”
“YES!!!!!!!!!!!”
He started sobbing. Four didn’t know how to deal with emotion so she Naruto-ran a little faster.
But… She Naruto-ran into something hard like a wall!
“AAAAAH!!” she screamed as she fell over in a comical, over-the-top way. “I’m so sorry!!!!!!!”
“Woah there,” said the wall. Four gasped and blushed rainbow like her tentacles. “You gotta slow down!”
“S-S-S-S…. SONIC?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!” Oh no!!!!!!!!! This was SO EMBARRASSING!!!!!!!!!! “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, I’M SO SORRYYYYY!!!!!!”
“I know you have to go fast,” he said, standing up, “But you are going too fast!!”
Sonic held out a hand. Four grabbed it and he helped her up. She swooned at his human fingernails. “I’m so sorry!!!” she apologized.
“It’s cool!” he reassured. Then he struck a pose. “ONE!”
“Yeah… One…” She dusted dusty dirt off her MCR and FOB and also TOP pants. “S-So… How was your summer, Sonic?” she asked meekly.
“I spent it thinking!” he replied, walking next to her into school. “And there’s this girl that I like…”
“R-Really..?” Was it Four?!?!!?? No… It couldn’t be… It was probably–
“HIYA SONIC!!!” yelled Agent 8 from across the school. She scampered over. “WHY ARE YOU HANGING OUT WITH THAT SUPERFLUOUS NOBODY???”
“Oh… Hi, Eight,” Sonic said with a grimace. “Sorry,” he mumbled to Four. “I’ll talk to you later, okay?”
“… Okay..!” Four replied, watching Sonic walk away with that extra superfluous bitch. She then collapsed to the ground and cried rainbow tears.
Bakugou finally caught up to her. “What happened, Four??”
“Nothing…” she whispered and lied.
Everything had happened…

Walking in the Rain (Tree bros) Part 2
I absolutely love this story so far and it’s gonna bet better! Again this deh sky high au and tree bros... and yea.
Words: 1174
Ship: Tree bros
Trigger warnings: Swearing (chill it’s not much)
Part 1
Connor shrugged and took his phone out from his bag.
“Shit. Zoe had probably left by now.”Evan winced.
“Ohimsorryitsmyfailt,ikeptyouheretosignmycatscauseidontknow-”
“Evan, relax it’sd fine. I can just walk or get a ride with you.” Evan awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. some pink petals fell onto the floor.
“Oh, I d-don't actually have my driver’s license, cause um, I cant control the plants around me well enough yet?” Connor nodded and looked at the pink flower he picked off of Evan. “W-we,” God this is going to sound weird. “we could walk home together? I saw you only live about a block for two away from me- I mean- I don't watch you, I just see you and Zoe come from that direction sometimes-”
“It’s fine. Come on let's go.” Connor left the room and Evan quickly followed. When they go to the exit, it was drizzling a bit, more than this morning. “You fine with getting wet?” Connor smirked.
“I-I mean do I have an option?” Evan joked. Then Connor stopped to get a spare sweatshirt from his bag and put is on Evan’s shoulders. Holy shit. Pink flowers started to pop out from underneath, Connor chuckled.
“I-uh-um-thanks, um, you didn’t have to, uh, sorry if I get pedals on it.” Evan smiled awkwardly. They started to walk.
“Na, it’s fine. I have plenty at my house. My whole closet id just grey shirts, sweaters and stuff.” Evan tried to hide his blush by picking at a flower behind in his hair. Connor put the flower from earlier in his pocket. They were silent for a bit until Connor realized the flowers growing on the ground beneath Evan where turning a light shade of purple. “You ok? The flowers...”
“W-what? Oh yeah, I’m f-fine. It’s just... anxiety.”
“Am I making you anxious?”
“Oh-n-no, it’s just I’m n-not used to having friends... so...” The flowers turned a lighter shade of pink. Connor waited a beat before talking.
“Yea, me too.” Evan looked up at Connor, who was focused on the sidewalk and the flowers blooming. “So do you have a favorite plant to grow or something?” Connor changed the topic. Evan’s face lit up.
“Yea, actually, my favorite is called the Juniperus occidentalis? It’s a tree that grows in the west, they only really work in wintry environments...” Evan rambled on until Connor cut him off.
“So you like trees?” He smirked and raised an eyebrow. Evan looked away hiding his blush and brushing off the flowers growing on him. Connor laughed, which was rare, Evan never really heard him laugh before. It was like watching your favorite movie for the first time, you don’t realize how much you like it the first time.
They walked for a while, Connor let Evan ramble on about plants and trees, with Connor making subtle comments. To be honest, they both purposely took wrong turns just to talk more. They completely forgot that it was raining and the little drizzle became more of a light rain.
They continued walking until a girl with a lot of books was walking past and tripped over a root from Evan the books flew everywhere, which made Evan trip and grow red flowers uncontrollably.
“Oh my god I am so sorry! It’s my fault-I-my powers-I um,” Evan tried to pick up some books but was shaking a bit so he was dropping them again.
“It’s fine, really.”The girl left as quick as she came. Evan waited until she was at least a block away before talking.
“M-That was embarrassing...” Evan said brushing off more flowers from his arms.
“Mm-hm.” Connor turned his attention towards Evan. “I thought that pink flowers were for embarrassment. Those were red.” Evan felt roots tug on his feet to hold him back. But he kept walking. “I guess that would explain all the blushing.” Evan felt his face heat up. The roots were getting tighter, this time pulling Connor a bit back which startled both of them.
“Holy shi-” Connor stumbled back. The roots around him and Evan were getting tighter.
“Oh-I’m s-so sr-r-roy-I di-di-didn’t mean-n-n to-” Evan stopped to help him
“Um, Ev? I can’t get up.” The roots at this point where tangled in this legs.
“Ohmygodiamsosorryiknowitsmyfailtimmessingeverythingupimsorryididntmeantoiknowitsmyfailtimsuchascrewupilikeyoualotandimsorry-”
“Wait slow down.” Evan took a minute to breathe. Connor was now sitting up slightly, using his elbows to prop himself up with this legs stuck in the roots. Evan was now kneeling and slowly removing the roots as he focused on his breathing. The roots returned to the ground once Evan started breathing normally. He then stood up and helped Connor up. But Connor didn’t let go of Evan’s hand. “So what does pink mean?” Evan blinked at him.
“Oh, uh, I-sorry um” Evan tried to pull his hand away gently because now roots and flowers were making it down to his hand. Connor resited though.
“Don’t be sorry. You apologize too much, you have to stop doing that.”
“Oh, um sor-” Connor laughed. Evan nervously laughed.
“You want today it again, don’t you?” Evan nodded. By this point, the flowers were growing onto Connor’s arm, and the rain was more if a mist. “Neat, you can do that? Or are you just fucking with me right now?”
“Oh, I um, I didn’t know I could do that... I’m not very experienced with my flowers-powers I mean... so...”
“But you had them for your whole life?” A flower pink bloomed on the back of Connor’s wrist. He let go of Evan’s hand and looked at it, then looked back at Evan.
“Yea, I guess... that’s stupid, I'm stupid-”
“You’re not stupid.” Connor cut him off. “What’s fucking stupid is that you won’t tell me what the pink flowers mean.” They were in front of Connor’s house.
“Oh, um,” Connor smirked. “mnhmnh... I don’t know....” Evan mumbled in a whisper. He realized that he was still wearing Connor’s spare sweatshirt from earlier.
“What? You have to speak louder.”
“A-actratmmnmn...” Evan tugged on the hum of his shirt.
“Evan, you have to speak in full sentences without mumbling-”
“I-I LIKE YOU!” Evan didn't mean to yell. “...a lot.” This time Connor was the one blushing like crazy. He looked at the flower on his wrist. He waited a beat
“Well,” Connor took Evan’s hand again. “I like you too.” The flowers around the now looked bigger and brighter, instead of small and rapid.
“R-really? I didn’t know if it was w-weird or anything, I-I um uh...” Evan took a deep breath. “D-do you want to hang out s-sometime? I-I mean only if it’s o-okay for you, I don't want to make t-this weird or a-anything, am I making it w-weird? Sorry, I-um,”
“It’s okay. Where do you want to go?” Evan’s face lit up.
“W-we could go to the, t-the forest! We could go hiking and climb a tree or something, what do you think?” Connor took a second to look at Evan. There’s nothing like his smile, sorta subtle, and perfect, and real.
“I think it’s perfect.”
Okay thank you for reading this, lam-baka helped a lot (they write WAY better fic’s) and I'm glad to finish this! thanks!
