trying to figure out some ways to tweak my traditional stuff digitally without outright redrawing everything + brainstorming different manners rei wears their cowl without looking like a master cosplayer

(don't tell anyone, but they find it comfy to have fabric on their face. it was how they first woke up and to this day its how they like to sleep)

one of the consequences of violently smashing their skull in that one time is that their sight was never quite the same afterwards-- reisz thought it would give out eventually and tried to become less reliant on their vision, which felt easier to do in parabola, so they started to show up to work with their face covered up as well.

didnt take long for them to get their cryptid-like epithet after that.
