I wanted to be a SaGa blog in the first place so it makes sense that I ramble about it so much, but The Rays closing is really making me think about Tales more as a series. And I feel like lately, ever since Inomata passed, I have a hard time just sitting there and thinking about it like I used to. I guess I am just really nervous or scared about the franchise changing because of how influential Inomata was for me growing up, especially in relation to the series. She did so much for it, and it just feels sad to see the direction it's going. It's sad to think Bandai Namco didn't do more with the games she worked on before she passed when their big anniversaries came up.

#i don't even know what I'm saying or feeling here ya know?#at least with saga no matter how mad at get at eb #ichikawa and maybe the higher ups at sqex get how beloved the older games are #so we're still going to get sf2 remaster (and hopefully us)!#but with tales... i don't get what's happening to namco's ips or why we're watching tales fall off this way #it doesn't even add up #it's not just arise it's also the lack of attempts to bring the older games to newer consoles #the way the recent fes was handled #i'm really happy at the message wall for inomata but jpn fans having the number of complaints they did is telling and sad #i just want to see inomata's legacy done justice even if it's not really my place to feel that?#theres so many characters she helped make that people love #and bandai is just letting it all... sit there
