06:00 - Acordamos e corremos: 

07:00 - Voltamos, tomamos banho e nos arrumamos. 

07:40 - Tomamos café da manhã; 

08:00 - Saímos.  08:28 - Chego no trabalho e já começo. 

12:30 - Almoço com Yoko:  Ichikakuya

13:10 - Voltamos e trabalhamos. 17:00 - Saio do trabalho com Dani e vamos a uma confeitaria.  17:42 - Chegamos no local:  Azuki to Kouri

18:20 - Saímos e nos despedimos.  18:40 - Chego no bairro e visito um local: Honda Headquarters

19:10 - Chego em casa, tomo um banho e me arrumo.  19:50 - Gutt chega e preparamos uma jantinha. 

Jantamos. 

20:30 - Deitamos, ficamos vendo tv até dormir.

So damn HOT! 🥵

The weather, oh my... I feel like I’m in an oven. It’s hot, humid and searing to the skin.

Thankfully it started raining this week, not daily but at least we had a few showers to cool the air down although it’s not that cooling. There was even hailstorm in Cheras this week, it was raining ice cubes! That’s how wack the weather is.

So it’s the weekend, and finally we are allowed to go out and eat out, we still don’t feel that safe being in public but baby steps okay.

I dressed up today; put on some makeup, curled my hair and wore a dress that I have bought years ago and never worn since. I was like who’s this new person? And I’m so happy that my skin is heading in the right direction, I still get a few tiny pimples but they come and go so fast, they heal very quickly and the texture of my skin is so nice now. Except for the acne marks and scars, I dare say I have glass skin. I cannot wait for the marks to be gone and be able to go out bare face. 

We did our usual weekend routine pre-pandemic, ventured out to find new places to eat in, and end the day with some sweet stuffs. So, today we had ramen which is Poopa’s favourite. It’s an entirely new place that we’ve never been called Ichikakuya and I’m not a ramen connoisseur so I’m not the best in knowing the characteristics and origins of ramen. I just judge base on taste, whether I like it or not. It was okay, the soup was very thick and rich although after a while it does get a little too rich for my taste. Also, I didn’t liked the texture of the noodles, they were too thick for my liking. It was exactly like eating yee mee which was a little weird for me, I like my ramen with thin-thin noodles like Ichiran and Hakata Ippudo. It wasn’t the best for me but I don’t mind eating it again if I’m close by, but my go-to is still Menya Shi Shi Do although fame has caught up to it now, everytime we go there a long queue awaits.

Usually, people would love weekends as it is the time to rest and recharge for the upcoming week, but somehow having kids or maybe it’s just my kids, I feel so tired during weekends. It’s like having them at home I needed to input extra energy just to keep up with them. Maybe I’m the odd one but I love weekdays better, where they would be in school and I get to do my own stuffs for a few hours, a proper routine in peace. 

Those few hours are just so precious to keep my mind and sanity at bay.
