coming back from the dead to say i forgot about half the stuff i wrote here and the good news is i can now read them from a reader's pov.

here are some thoughts:

you look so beautiful in white

little wordy, but ngl, p happy with how i wrote out the parallels between the wedding and the funeral. i can see why people were yelling at me over being blindsided by the plot twist bc ngl i laid it out so well even i had to read the exposing sentence twice. still proud of her. underrated queen. 7/10.

honey, honey (how you thrill me)

again, little too wordy but ngl at this point i think it's a common theme with me HAHAHA but yes. when i first came out with this i absolutely hated it and had no clue why it got such positive feedback, esp on ao3, but reading it now, i see it. it's cute, it's goofy, it's levi being a lovable ass to his nosey friends and a domestic acts of service honey to his honey. 8/10.

may i?

still in the wordy side but tbh?? minus that?? absolutely gorgeous. i was so proud of it when i wrote it, and it's still by far one of my fave pieces today. the ending sequence still has my heart soft, especially the way i wrote their first kiss and "home. it felt like home. because that's what you were to levi, and what levi was to you." still my favorite sentimental piece, still something i'm proud of. 10/10

the short end of the stick

it's crack. absolute crack. drew on too long with the intro there, and it's bad to say but i got no feelings for the banter lmAO but yes, comparing this with some of my other work, you can clearly tell i have a thing for matching rings. they're just so symbolic and it's so fun to write it in with all its implications. overall i have no feelings for this fic, pretty neutral about it. 6/10.

three weeks

back then i also had neutral feelings about this fic and feedback was lukewarm, but reading it now, AYO?? ICB EVEN I SLEPT ON THIS GEM OF A LINE "He curses at his hands for even having the audacity to reach for you when it was these same hands that signed your death certificate earlier in the day." Loved the descriptions, intro pacing was good, got kinda cut off short at the end there but overall not bad. 7/10.

like you mean it

plot had potential but i absolutely massacred it bc it was my first trek into smut territory without proper research (aka reading smut more) and i'm scared to read it again so i'm going to blind rank it. 3/10.

literally everything like you mean it tried to be. embodiment of self indulgence. thinking about the huge difference between the way i wrote eren before (i.e. honey honey & short end of the stick) vs the way i wrote him in this one is kinda trippy bc they're the same character. hit almost all the right spots. 9/10.
