Sometimes I get to sing for more than the sake of performing and in this political climate I'm trying to find more ways to use my art for activism. Today I got to sing "Quiet" by Milck for the Democratic Women of Kern for a dicussion on awareness of sexual assault. After I sang a little boy came up to me and gave me a flower.
