Ohhh how their heart aches. Rosette was real serious about this one, it seems. Not that Pizzelle didn't already know that, but the concern in their wife's face made them let out a soft sigh and they nodded in understanding. They turned back towards her and let their kissed hand now caress her cheek tenderly. The way their heart thumped in their chest at 'sugar cookie' was unmatched.

"I'll be better about it. Promise." They reassured, kissing the tip of her nose. "Golly, I wouldn't know what I'd do if I didn't have you here... I'd have probably croaked by now if it wasn't for you. Thanks for worrying, Rosie."

Bites her nose. Softly. HA! The momentum is now in THEIR corner!

"But that doesn't mean you get to spend all day thinking about me! You work hard too. Tell me about that customer you dealt with! I can deliver them a knuckle sandwich right to their home if they messed with you too much!" They crack their knuckles and hold their shoulder, winding up their punching arm as if preparing for an up-and-coming scuffle. As if Pizzelle would ever choose to fight... But if they did, it would certainly be for their beloved wife. Or for the sake of their business.

"Or is this a more serious matter? One that needs me to deliver 100 cc's of love and affection stat? Don't worry, doctor, I can handle this-" And before much protest can be made, rubberhose arms wrap around Rosette and bring her close to Pizzelle's chest, peppering kisses galore all over their wife's face and nose. "Marbs, I think we're losing her!" They addressed the chocolate frog stashed away in the apron pocket with a joking sense of urgency.

Oooooooooh boy, it's worse than she thought, isn't it? As much as Rosette would love to enjoy the fact that she's making her wife melt like this, it's kind of hard to now that she knows how utterly exhausted Pizzelle is (she enjoys it anyways at least in part, but still).

"Little things? Pizzelle, this is YOU we're talking about-- nothing little about that, if you ask me."

She's not mad at you Pizzelle, honest...well, maybe she's entitled to be a liiiiiiiiiiiiittle mad at you. But only because she has to worry about you since you're clearly not doing that. "It's sweet that you worry about me, but working yourself to the bone and then being all hush-hush about it won't..."

DAMMIT, PIZZELLE. She's trying to lecture you for your own good, and it's really hard to do that when you look at her like that. Rosette clears her throat, trying to pretend she can't feel the way her face is practically burning-- she can't see it, but her face can practically blend with her hat and apron at this point.

She squeezes their hand, then brings it closer to her face for a kiss on the knuckles.

"I just wish you'd be good to yourself too, sugar cookie."

I'm kinda curious on what Echo would look like in sugary spire?

Would they look somewhat the same or a little different?

Well, what can I say? Everything is complicated 😅 Where to start? Well, let’s start with the fact that I know almost nothing about Sugary Spire, because out of all the abundance of this abundance, a lot of art with Pizzelle and Pizzano, almost nothing about the rest, so it’s not clear what kind of other characters there are. And what about the appearance like Echo, then... I had the option of making Pizzano’s body, but since we have Pizzelle as a replacement for Peppino, why not try to make just such an option. There are hands here: The Sheriff, GumBob, Pizzano himself and....fake Pizzelle? (I have no idea what kind of fake Pizzelle is, but let’s do it this, I’ll have my own headcanon on Sugary Spire, okay? So the hand is similar to the one that Bruno has, but with ice cream stains). The TV turned pink, why not, and his physique is clearly smaller than that of the original Echo, although he has also become taller and bigger. Well, the eyes also changed. I think even without me it’s clear which eye belongs to whom.Something like this. Probably someone thought that I would do a version with Pizzano’s body, but then it wouldn’t be interesting😅.
