Sayu didn't like being alone. She didn't like the deafening silence of having no one around to talk to. There were distant sounds of traffic, and the occasional bark of a little dog coming from somewhere. But it all felt empty on her own. She's not sure how she got separated from her friends, but she wants to find them fast.

“ Helloooooooooo? ” she called into another alleyway. It was too dark to see anything, but she swore she heard a rustling. She "swims" into the darkness. “ Hello? Anyone there? ”

“ Woah you... you recognize me?? ” Wow! She didn't think anyone knew who she was anymore! She already took a liking to the stranger, in spite of the odor (granted, lack of sensory stimulus in her castle meant pretty much everything smelt strong.)

“ I'm here looking for my friends! Umm, have you seen some lightners pass through here? Three have glasses, and one is reallyyyy tall? ”

For the most part, the only things that rustled in the darkest alleys of Cyber City were Maice. Larger shadows usually belonged to worse things like Pop-Pups, Virovirokin or the creature Sayu had walked in on. The rustling suddenly went quiet, before a pair of lights shined out from the gloom: one pink, one yellow, both wide, wild and ravenous. Then, it darted out of the darkness to encroach upon Sayu’s personal space. So close, it revealed itself to be one of those Addisons of a sort, albeit small and ragged. It also stank, a beastly smell so powerful it might be an entity in its own right.

Up close, it seemed to recognize Sayu. Wasn’t that the crazy-popular idol he had heard about?
