Loving yourself is the greatest revolution. 💋 It won't happen overnight. It will take work, introspection, growth, awareness, compassion and acceptance. It's not always easy. We all put expectations on ourselves. We all go through different journey when it comes to self-worth. I was disappointed in my body for not giving me the opportunity to push in my training as hard as I wanted to because of my defects. I was angry at things I couldn't change and I was very conscious of my scars, as they were very visible for a long time. I looked at cosmetic surgery but it was pointless. To hide them means I needed to have scars anyway. Then I was being told that my legs were too muscly, that I didn't look feminine enough, that I should technically weight less for my height. If you let it all get to you, you'll never feel good enough. There is always something that could be better. Positive change usually happens out of love, not out of hate for yourself.
