Final Submission for @nikonusa #IAmNextContest | #DearMe - The biggest lie you'll ever hear is: It (Life) gets better. It doesn't; it only gets harder. There are going to be times when you feel alone and helpless, and you're going to do a lot of stupid things if you just wait for things to get better. Your depression isn't going to go away any time soon, and if you keep suppressing those feelings, you're going to seriously hurt yourself one day. I don't want you to do that, because there's so much you haven't seen, eaten, breathed, or even lived yet! So yea, it doesn't get better, but you'll learn to deal with it differently. It's OK to be vulnerable; let people into your life, because those that stick around will help you through the rough times. Don't fret over the ones who leave, because it's their loss and you're better off without them. And it's OK to be unsure, because life isn't about discovering yourself, it's about developing yourself. You'll know when you know. Don't let your depression live your life for you; be your own voice, and become the person that you needed when you were at your lowest.
