أطلقت شركة مايكروسوفت تحديث جديد لبعض التطبيقات ضمن حزمة أوفيس الشهيرة على كل من منصتى أندرويد وiOS والتى توفر الكثير من المميزات، وعلى رأسها ميزة مهمة لمستخدمى "وورد" والتى تقوم على دعم رؤية عدد الكلمات فى المستند حتى خلال عملية التمرير من أعلى لأسفل.

ووفقا لما نشره موقع TOI الهندى، فبالنسبة لمستخدمى Outlook على اندرويد، أصبح بمقدورهم الآن حذف جهات الاتصال داخل التطبيق، فضلا عن وضع عدم الإزعاج الجديد، والذى عند تشغيله سيمنع ظهور إشعارات البريد الإلكترونى على شاشة الهاتف، فيما سيحصل مستخدمى أوتلوك على iOS على خيار مزامنة رسائل المسودة، مما يسمح لهم ببدء رسالة على هواتفهم والانتهاء منها وإرسالها على سطح المكتب.

أما بالنسبة لتطبيق PowerPoint، فقد حصل هو الآخر على قدرة جديدة تتيح للمستخدمين تحرير مستنداتهم بسهولة فى الوضع العرضى، نظراً لأنه فى بعض الأحيان يكون من الأسهل قراءة الشرائح عندما يتم تشغيل الجهاز بشكل جانبى، ويمكن للمستخدمين الحصول على هذه المميزات بسهولة من متاجر التطبيقات المختلفة.
