I'd just like to add my voice on this. There is, in this imploded, what used to be the virtuemoir fandom, a high percentage of blogs/accounts who THINK, FEEL AND AGREE that the hate that Scott and his wife continues to get is deserved and justified. OTHERWISE, why do the main hater blogs continue to be allowed to post their putrid comments? There is no one here who do not know who the 4 main Scott hater blogs are. I've seen other virtuemoir blogs been forced off here for far less. Why haven't these hate blogs been forced off too? Why are they still here and thriving?

The way his family is vilified. The way his home town is laughed at. The way he's disrespected as a coach. I've seen the low-class, low-brow, pigsty angst and nasty thoughts and comments towards Scott and his family even as it relates to his school.

Why have these people followed him into his professional life? Does a coach need a fanbase? Is he engaging with them on social media in any way at all? They have noooooooo goodwill towards him and his, so why don't they just %&^##*#?

Aren't they the ones congratulating themselves on driving Jackie off social media while at the very same time stalked and infiltrated Madi/Adrian's wedding registry just get the name of Scott's and Jackie's child (which Scott had not provided publicly nor had his wife or anyone from his or his wife's family provided publicly).

Imagine thinking it's not a CRIMINAL act when you are breaking into strangers' wedding registry to steal information they're not privy to and presenting and sharing said information on social media with a victorious "I got a name!"

They're going after Mrs. Jaclyn Moir, as if they think they are standing on some kind of high morale ground. They should really check themselves (some of them are married women with children of their own) because since they're sitting on the internet predicting the divorce, desiring the divorce, hoping for the divorce of a man and his wife, the spiritual principle of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is waiting for them. It's actually a universal principle. Some of you call it karma.

I'm going to post this for now, but I have much more to say.

I mean, becoming hater stan is the easiest thing in the world. All they had to do is decide "they are your (the celebrities) fan", give themselves "rights" in other people's lives, and never to be gotten rid of by that celebrity.

People here taking about Scott's daughter, always the same people, attack the child to attack him or attack him to say at least she doesn't look like him. 5 years later and people still follow them. That's why the fandom doesn't deserve anything and I wish we never saw her picture. I don't know how these people have the nerve to have a blog dedicated to Tessa when they can't stop attacking someone she cares about, it's been 5 years, not 5 days or months.

The judges have been telling Gr/P very clearly that something has to change. I think staying with MIDA is a worse look than leaving at this point - they've regressed significantly and their material is almost... confusing. They're in a similar position C/B were in '17/18 and if they hadn't moved to Montreal, they would've accomplished none of this. Personally I'd rather see them with Scott because his teams have good material, packaging and are getting levels, which are all things Gr/P desperately need. Also CPom could benefit from direct competition in the rink to propel them to the top of the podium next year if C/B actually do retire. To my eye, at US Nats C/B were in one bracket, CPom in another, and then 3rd through 6th + the Browns a separate batch where the order could've been whatever, depending on what happened on the day, which is not a good look for Gr/P.

To be fair, Green/Parsons material this year is simply not great, it was also true last year (to a lesser degree) but they managed to outsell the potential of the meh content they got. This year, their RD was bad so they changed the music, kept most of it the same, and ended up with one of the weakest RDs of the season. Their FD had a lot of potential and I liked it a lot at first, but they removed a lot of the content that made it stand out and the music cut is killing any sort of excitement that can come from the FD. Add to that my suspicion that Michael is injured and no wonder this season is going not great.

I also want them to go to I.AM Ontario, I think it might piss off CPom at first, but if it will be handled like C/B vs. H/D was by I.AM both teams will benefit from it.

I agree about the brackets at US Nats, I will reiterate how much it pains me to see Pate/Bye in the same one as G/Pa, Z/K, and the Browns though.

Scott: I feel the pressure, that has maybe been the struggle, but I also find it very rewarding. I’m very, very fortunate to have the students and have the team that I work with at I.AM and I.AM Ontario and uh, so to be part of that it feels very natural, and we have fun every day.

My challenge is to try and bring the expertise that I have from my career but custom fit it to the athlete, and every athlete I believe there’s a different solution and a different way to bring the best out of them, and uh you know, it’s been, I haven’t been a coach for very long, I have a lot more work to do, so I think that’s the challenge.

What I like about ice dance is that it’s more of a sport than it’s ever been, and I mean that in the way that it’s evolving. Every year people are, skaters are upping the bar, and you have to stay on your toes and respond and make sure that you’re pushing the envelope so- that’s what I think is great for ice dance. We’re looking down the pipe at what is sure to be a great Olympics for the sport of ice dance, and I can’t wait to see the skaters get rewarded for that.

That being said, both vm have moved on with their lives. With the upcoming skating season, it's going to be INCH RESTING to see the Scott haters justifications for continuing to run behind Scott and infuse their hate into his coaching career. What are they going base their behaviour on? Their 2018-2019 grievances? T's obvious happiness? What will their narratives be?

I mean, at some point, it will become evident to all who want to see, that all the hateful posts directed at Scott and his family is self-indulgent behaviour by individuals who have nothing to loose by what they post. If there were consequences to them, you'd see how quickly they would cease and desist their hateful posts.

Your last anon said it so well. I’m genuinely happy for Tessa that she is doing well personally and professionally and that she can share without getting hate.

But I still remember how nasty this fandom was when Jackie first started attending events with Scott. People stalked her and dug into her personal life. And over and over fans called Scott unprofessional for having her attend events like CWOF, where they both had family, and especially GKP. All those comments that he was flaking out on his work obligations or wasting his life because he happened to travel to see Jackie. And now people are thrilled when Tessa does the same. It’s hard not to be bitter. Those fans ruined a lot of great moments in the VM story for fans and maybe even for Scott.

I think the answer to IAMO needing another international elite team or two is to look to the promising juniors. Montreal currently snap up any senior who looks like they’ll get results and/or are politically useful and send the others to Scott. But the London crew is clearly good at improving teams plus the juniors right now are of the right age for their formative skating memory to be Moulin Rouge. So look for the potential next big thing rather than going for established older teams. I think I’d be trying to poach Grimm/Savitsky from Germany if I were them.

Isn't I.AM Ontario coaching the Canadian junior champions?

I think overall Scott and team have proven to be an asset to any team that moved to them - I can't think of any team who didn't improve under them. So for me the prospect of them having two potential top teams is exciting. I'm all for the Germans going to him as well.

if covid never cancelled his wedding, he would’ve spent the spring and summer gallivanting between florida and ontario, then we would’ve gotten mallorca 2.0 without mo because of playoffs, THEN he’d be getting plastered off of shitty pink vodka at his own wedding (if the reason you want to get married is just so you can throw a fucking rager then you shouldn’t be getting married in the first place because you don’t need to get married to have a dance party) and that’ll be the last time we’d see or hear about him. INSTEAD, he spent the spring and summer laying the foundations of his coaching career, choreographing a NATIONALS WINNING FD, etc. and now he’s opening I.AM ontario so yeah OFC the best thing to come out of this shitty year is him postponing his wedding
