golden  smile  grew,  and  laughter  resumed tumbling like water over rocks. alicent believed their judgements were rarely wrong; how splendid to be proved correct again.  ❝  perhaps       however! ❞   her gaze snapped toward the tully.  ❝  you shall never know if you don't try. ❞   she gestured around the room, no specific target in mind.  ❝  much has happen since court as gathered. tell me about something worthy of gossip. ❞

attempt  at  seriousness  quickly  wavers  ,  and  soon  enough  a  laugh  bursts  forth  ,  "  i'm  just  so  very  jealous  of  how  you  describe  it  ,  you  see  .  "  arushi  whispers  back  once  shudders  of  giggling  subside  .  a  thought  tickles  at  the  back  of  her  mind  —  would  she  have  laughed  at  someone's  lack  of  talent  just  a  few  years  ago  ?  —  but  it  quickly  fades  into  the  void  .  "  i  don't  think  i  could  paint  such  a  vivid  picture  .  "
