Treat Me Like Your P3T
---
MORE SILLY ART! MORE OF THE FUNNY COYOTE!! I was listening to some Femtanyl as I usually do and got the idea for this drawing thanks to her song 'P3T'. I really like it, really energetic and fun :]. I based her makeup look off of the eyelashes present on Token (the character usually seen on Femtanyl's music artwork) cuz I liked the look of them. Also, I should probably mention this but uhhh don't take the phrase on the art literally. If you did treat Silly like as if she's an actual dog you'd be getting a free ticket to the "Getting Punched in the Face By Silly" experience, don't do that. Obviously you can see her already not looking too happy here but just to clarify that before anyone actually does HAH.
I also went a bit experimental on the likes of posing and head views in this drawing. Of course it's not absolutely perfect, but it's still an attempt nonetheless :]. I'm actually really happy with the result. I've always wanted to do the likes of tilted heads and such but just never tried it cuz to be fair I was a bit scared of trying it. Get experiemental with your stuff guys, it's not as scary as past me thought it was going to be. I'm honestly really glad I'm getting the energy back to make digital art, been sketching in my sketchbook a good bit outside of digital art which is neat too. Which does remind me, I dunno if yall would be up for it but I have thought of sharing more sketchbook stuff, stuff like design pages, doodles, all that. Kinda like me posting some craft stuff, just changes things up for this account and my content if ya get me. I'll decide on something anyways.
---
Also, I may be posting a speedpaint later after this, it's most likely not going to be of THIS DRAWING specifically, but I figured why not post one since I haven't posted on my youtube in a little over 5 months. I know my upload schedule on youtube is anything BUT consistent but it's only cuz making youtube content takes a lot more time and energy out of me than it does posting to DA, Tumblr, Newgrounds etc. Honestly I don't usually like posting speedpaints to me channel, I always feel like it's "lazy" content to be put on my channel, I dunno what you guys feel about it but that's how I feel personally. But that's probably just me. ANYWAYS- speaking of Silly actually since this drawing features, October is about 3 days away (YAYYYY) which means that, yes, Bex, Silly and Stacy will be back once again to show off their Halloween costumes for 2024! I definitely think this year's is gonna be the BEST in terms of costume choices, I don't wanna say much but lemme tell ya that this year's Halloween costumes are gonna be AWESOME. ALSO ALSOOOO- with October around the corner, I HAVE A GOOD FEW SPOOKY DRAWING IDEAS READY TO START DRAWING. I also have a few horror related drawings that I've been working on in the background that I wanna share when October comes around since I'm proud of some of them :].
---
I think that's it for me and what I have to say, go listen to Femtanyl

I really like your style and think u have alot of potential and i thought to give some pointers for if u plan to do commissions,
Try makeing your work in higher resolution so that your work is nice and crispy instead of crunchy (crunchy is not bad if pixelation is done in a purposeful way) try 300dpi
Messing around with poses and proportions is fun! But make sure your character feels balanced. Try flipping your canvas while u work or makeing the pose yourself, you yourself are always the most available pose model after all!
Backgrounds are hard and not necessary unless the commission asks for one, but avoid leaving characters floating in a void, add a drop shadow and maybe make the background a colour or shape. Simple and doesn't take away from the character/focal point are the main background rules!
Make sure that you have a contract for commission, while most ppl are cool there are always those who take advantage of artists. Have them sign an agreement to make sure u are paid for your time! That and haveing this will make the scamers think twice before doing anything.
Have fun and i wish u luck with your commissions!
So! This is just in case my friendly anon you ever see me answer this!
I'm actually an artist of 10+ years I just admittedly with my Very cartoony and simple style and especially the stuff I've been uploaded recently makes it look so, so the potential bit I get I'm sure as I draw more and more I'll get even better but unfortunately I've been at this so long this Is my potential after 10 years of serious practice and the whole blood sweat and tears bit it took me so long to get Here and it'll take me so much longer to get even further but I'll never stop trucking!
As for quality I actually draw the lineart traditionally and use an online app to erase the background color!
Before -> After
When I do this is SIGNIFICANTLY shrinks the image which I can't control and haven't figured out just yet how to fix But! I'll figure it out some day, as for now it's gonna be pixely.
As for posing and such I'm sure this is about drawing my oc Sunny crooked the intention was she was standing upright and leaning back (with a lot of responses I've gotten I realize this wasn't as obvious as I thought it'd be) otherwise all my art is Very ancient centeted and I do do dynamic poses and stuff!
(Sunny) / (Dynamic funsie doodles)
While this is not the BEST of my abilities it's only because I'm practicing digitally coloring basically doodles rn!
As for the background coloring or shadows I take that in deep consideration! I just like transparent images (: they remind me of stickers ☆
Contracts are definitely something I'll have to consider! Usually something written out and agreed upon in text is a binding contract and usually how I work when I commission other artists!
Thank you for your time, compliments and hopes in me anon! Ever since I posted my poll I've been getting a good vibe from a small but noteworthy amount of people thay make me feel good about my art!
I hope you see this!

the thing people point out most often in my paintings is usually my use of color. it's definitely my favorite part of painting, so hearing this always makes me happy. but it's weird, because it's really hard to articulate exactly why i choose colors the way i do, aside from basic color theory principles. HOWEVER, i've recently come to the realization that i have one significant influence that i don't often register consciously: IMAGE COMPRESSION. the way colors are compressed is really similar to the way i choose all the colors i use. here's an example of what i mean:
see on the left it's just a normal, white hallway. but when you start to reduce the number of colors through posterization, you see that there's BLUE! and RED and YELLOW! there's all these vibrant, glowy, low-contrast rings of color banding around the walls, comprising an overall 'white' image. they're like little halos of light. the photo obviously looks 'uglier' when you compress it like this, but i can't help but appreciate how unique it looks. it almost looks iridescent. you would never think to use color like this if you weren't a computer trying to crunch together the closest available colors.
there's a lot lost in a camera's translation of raw sensor data to pixels, but the distortion created can be equally beautiful if you look at it through the right lens. i remember zooming into heavily artifacted art when i was little and thinking "how do the artists know when to use white pixels or very slightly bluish-white pixels??" i ended up trying to replicate this a few times, assuming the reason my drawings didn't look as good was because i was using the wrong colored pixels. this initial misunderstanding definitely paved the way for my fixation on the subject, once i was old enough to know what a "jay-peg" is.
the different containers that data, particularly images and sound, are encapsulated in, always define them in some way. the idea of lossless quality—seeing/hearing something the way it was 'meant' to be perceived, free of distortion—is an ideal that i've learned to stop striving for. there's value in compacting things, and conveying them less than perfectly. this concept isn't anything new, of course. the warm fuzz of record players, the blurry imperfection of polaroid photos... these things are genuinely gorgeous, despite their 'ugliness'. it's almost strange to think that effects like these were compromises with the technology available rather than deliberate aesthetic choices.
dithering, reduced color palettes and artifacting are all obviously more modern forms of 'ugly', and thus less often reminisced about. but i really wonder if we'll see more appreciation of them in the future, and i kinda hope we do... i've been showing my appreciation for this somewhat abstractly, but it's undoubtedly still apparent as an influence in my art. i can't help but love it all, honestly.
there's something undoubtedly charming about images so compressed that it's obvious they've been passed around websites for a while, as well as slightly sped up, 128kbps versions of songs uploaded over a decade ago. yes, sometimes it hurts that you can't covey things with lossless clarity—there is always a distortion; a compromise made to compact raw data into something comprehensible by human eyes and ears. these little bits of 'ugliness' are unavoidable and inevitable, because they define the data itself. even your flawless FLAC files become distorted by the speakers that play them. perceptual perfection is always fun to strive for, of course... but sometimes learning to love the limitations of a medium is the best you can do for it.
#tl;dr: i love Images.#i have SO many thoughts on this subject but it popped into mind again today for no reason in particular LOL#i have another post in my drafts with a similar subject matter but pertaining to 2D vs 3D in particular. maybe i'll post that eventually...

#showyourprocess !
From planning to posting, share your process for making creative content!
To continue supporting content makers, this tag game is meant to show the entire process of making creative content: this can be for any creation.
RULES — When your work is tagged, show the process of its creation from planning to posting, then tag up to 5 people with a specific link to one of their creative works you’d like to see the process of. Use the tag #showyourprocess so we can find yours!
Thank you, @rinielle for tagging me! She chose the piece above (original post), and oh boy this one was a whole ass rollercoaster ride! Unfortunately, I hadn't turned on the timelapse feature for this but I'll try to go through each part of the process as best as I can!
The photos I'm gonna upload are gonna be a mix of screenshots and literal photos of my screen, because I'm taking some of them from my updates to friends, since a lot of the steps got lost in my painting process.
But before that, let me tag some other amazing creators!
@dragonji: this gif art!
@candicewright: this yibo painting!
@wendashanren: this gifset!
@mylastbraincql: this gif!
I haven't been able to keep track of who's been tagged so apologies if you've already done this! Also, no pressure to do it at all if you would rather not! <3
Planning
Sometimes, I get an idea first and find reference photos to go with that idea. But for this one, I sought out a reference photo first, and built an idea on top of it!
After that, I roughly sketch out the base pose. Usually, this looks very messy, but it doesn't really matter as long as I understand which part goes where!
The idea for the background didn't really come until the creation process because I don't think I really planned this to be a full piece.
Creation
Sketching
Honestly, from this point on, it's more of trial and error.
So, I redid the the initial base pose—made it cleaner and a little bit more detailed. See: the added definition in their arm muscles, the rearrangement of Wei Wuxian's legs, and Lan Wangji's hand on Wei Wuxian's back. If you look at the second photo, I also changed the pose a bit midway—I tend to edit as I go sometimes when I change my mind. (For this, I thought, given the Lan arm strength, it would be better to make Lan Wangji look more at ease carrying Wei Wuxian. This gets covered by the robes anyway though, so it didn't matter much in the end.)
I also started adding details to the base! I usually start with the face and then the hair! I usually go for the clothes next, but I dreaded the robes in this piece so I guess that's why I ended up with a basic idea of what I wanted for the background instead LOL I also figured out how I want the final crop to look like, so I blocked out all the other areas with an extra layer!
Okay, onto the part that killed me like ten times: the robes. There are a lot of interactions between their robes here given their pose, and not to mention they also have layers upon layers on each of them! So, to maintain my sanity and to keep track of which part is which, I color coded them into the most colorful sketch I've ever made.
Another reason why I filled in each layer of robe with a solid block of color, is so that all the lines underneath gets covered. Without all of the colors, the actual outline actually looks like the one on the right. What a nightmare!
I also ignored the crop again for this part, because it's always better to draw past your borders, in case you decide to rotate or tilt or whatever your piece later on. I didn't do the feet anymore though, because that I was sure wouldn't show in the final piece anymore.
After that, I did the sketch one more time and then started adding the base colors. (I didn't have a screenshot of just the base colors, and the final CSP file is a nightmare so I copy pasted the layers into a new canvas to show you guys :') )
By the way, I drew their robes flowing this way, because I wanted it to frame the lower arch of the moon behind them for the composition. It was a little frustrating that I couldn't get Lan Wangji's robes a little higher because of Wei Wuxian's legs but I later filled in the empty space with his forehead ribbon anyway, so it all worked out in the end!
Painting
Because apparently, I was a masochist back then, I merged the base colors all into one layer and started adding shadows to the robes. (These days, I add shadows first and then, merge. It's much easier this way.)
And then, I started painting! Again, I did the face first and then the hair, before finally the robes. This was my first time painting side profiles and honestly it was quite a pain to figure out LOL but !!! I think I did a good job and I'm proud of how it turned out. I again used reference photos for this one but I can't link any because they were just several random Pinterest photos that I didn't save.
Another thing to note is that I use the mesh transform tool a lot, especially on faces. That's largely why Lan Wangji's face looks so different in the latter two!
And then I went with the robes. Somewhere along the way, I realized I didn't like how I planned to do Lan Wangji's sleeves and the flowy part of Wei Wuxian's robes and I... decided, with much dread, to do them over. So I sketched on top of the painted layers and redid the robes, again.
It was at this point that I decided to take a break from this piece because it was honestly very draining! I think it took about three weeks before I decided to open the file again and continue it.
When I did, I just finished painting the rest of the robes and their hands. The blue details on Lan Wangji's outer robes were painted on a separate layer that I put on Multiply. I probably did more adjustments to the face and hair and stuff, because my painting process is honestly a mess :')
Final Adjustments
I added some correction layers on certain areas to fix some of the colors. See: Lan Wangji's sleeve becoming much brighter and paler; Wei Wuxian's legs having less contrast. And then I merged all of the layers (excluding the background) and added a bit of blur. See: Wei Wuxian's ponytail; the entire lower part; the flowing forehead ribbon. My reasoning for this is so that most of the detail (and therefore the flow of the eye) goes to their faces and expressions!
And then, I put a blue Overlay layer on low opacity to make Wangxian blend better with the background, added a bit of shadow on the inside and the lower sections and added the glowing details for the added flair. I initially wanted sparkles and/or stars but they didn't turn out as well as this did. I also upped the contrast by a little for the entire piece!
Aaaand, that's it! In truth, I did a bit more color adjustments to the whole piece, but I was a dummy who forgot to turn them back on before posting so ... oh well.
Posting
Before posting, I upload it either on my spare private Twitter account or on a drafted Tumblr post so I can check the colors on my phone. This is because the colors on different devices can look very different, and I would at the very least want all my pieces to look nice on both of my devices!
And then, once I deem it satisfactory, I just try to think of a caption and post! Some artists wait for a certain time where most of their followers are active, but I didn't have a lot of MDZS followers at this point so it didn't really matter to me.
It still doesn't really; I haven't actually been able to figure out when my MDZS followers are awake even now.
#showyourprocess#mine#whew this was so long oops#but this piece took like#maybe 1.5 weeks sans the break i had to take#so !!#LOL#tag game

I've never watched dramas before, but your posts got me interested! I don't know where to start though :(
i got you! my masterlist of recs, if interested
first, where to find dramas w/ english subs legally (cough):
netflix has a good handful, and they’re gradually getting more and more! hulu will sometimes have some, but the collection is way better on netflix
viki.com hosts a lot of k(orean)dramas & some cdramas and t(aiwanese)dramas
iqyi hosts a lot of c(hinese)dramas
youtube actually has a lot of cdramas that are officially uploaded!
kdramas are typically 16, 1-hour eps , although this can vary. they air 2 eps a week. the vast majority of them are self-contained, meaning the story is completed in these 16 episodes/there’s no next season. this is slooowly changing, which i hate tbh
cdramas i’ve only started watching in the last year, but the episode lengths vary a lot, and it’s typical for 1-2 eps to air per day. longest one i’ve started was 72 eps (yeah lol i didnt finish it), shortest was 20. they’re usually 45-minute eps, and are notorious for having the opening/ending credits show scenes from the entire show so watch out for those #spoilers. most cdramas seem to be self-contained, but some can get sequel seasons
dramas encompass a huge, huge breadth of genres, topics, and stories. in addition to the standards (fantasy, romance, action, crime, etc.) these are some of the new/unknown genres that you might seen thrown out there:
sageuk = historical korean drama, typically centered on palace/emperor politics in the joseon era (usually the 1300-1400s)
makjang = kdrama that goes VERY soap opera. evil twins, amnesia, secret paternity, the works
melo = short for melodrama. SAD lol. also if you see a drama with “tragedy” as a genre it usually means at least 1 main character dies
wuxia = historical or historical fiction shows that feature martial artists/fighters of some capacity. you’ll see “pugilistic world” a lot in the summaries, which usually equals clans, sects, or schools of martial artists that are in competition with each other. often has “wire-fu” aka martial arts like in crouching tiger, hidden dragon/martial arts that are more superhuman
xianxia = similar to wuxia, but incorporates fantasy elements, most often from taoism, chinese folklore, chinese mythology, buddhism. often about cultivation/trying to reach immortality. expect lots of wafting flowers or hair and really bad CGI
bl = boy love. what it says on the tin, there
censored romance = code for lgbt+ stories that usually have been changed/adapted to “gals being pals” or “two bros sitting in a hot tub 6′ apart because they’re not gay.” “bromance” or “sismance” is sometimes a code for this, also
idol drama = stars a pop star in the main cast. a lot of people are snotty about these, but there’s a lot of good ones out there and good idol actors!
sls/second-lead syndrome = not a genre, but it means you’re rooting for the other dude in a love triangle who ultimately doesn’t get the girl. really common in kdrama, because it’s a trend (that is thankfully starting to fade out) for the main lead to be a jerk/tsundere type
drama recs under the cut
some dramas that i would say are “starter pack” dramas (note: i haven’t watched anything older than 2016ish so i don’t know the Classics, and i am DEFINITELY not well-versed in cdramas):
kdrama
goblin or guardian: the great and lonely god. urban fantasy, VERY popular, written by one of the more popular screenwriters, and stars a lot of big name korean actors. as far as i know, it’s what kickstarted a current trend of urban fantasy stories and a lot of other dramas after it make jokes/references to it
moon lovers: scarlet heart ryeo. im putting this one on here because it is SO MANY of my friend’s (and my!) first drama. time travel, politics, lots of shirtless beautiful men trying to kill each other. you know.
weightlifting fairy kim bok joo. i think this one is a great example of friends-to-lovers/cute slice of life dramas
reply series. three dramas that are “then and now” stories. reply 1997 is the first one, which jumps between a group of high school friends in 1997 and their lives in 2012--very similar to how i met your mother in premise but good. reply 1988 is often hailed as one of the best dramas, and while it has romance, it focuses more on a neighborhood and its residents--lots of family + friendship
flower of evil and signal for crime/thriller! flower of evil was definitely one of my favorite dramas this year. signal bored me if im being honest (and i dropped it), but it’s highly rated and a lot of people love it
my top 3 kdramas
mystic pop-up bar
chicago typewriter
welcome to waikiki
cdrama. lol i DO NOT feel qualified to answer this one. but some popular ones:
ashes of love. xianxia, insanely popular. it’s good! but i liked love and redemption a lot more for this type of storyline
the untamed is probably the most famous/highly rated cdrama i’ve seen out there. i haven’t watched it yet but its A LOT of people’s favorite/gateway to cdrama
my favorite cdramas, aside from love and redemption
le coup de foudre
goodbye my princess
the romance of tiger and rose
go ahead
sound of the desert

Evading eternal gloom and chaos in general | November Goals Update
Hey People of Earth!
Today is December 1st. Which means, November (death) is over, and I can officially restart life during Christmas break in 21 days. November as a whole was much better than October (so much, we don't even compare the two) which is strange, as November is the month of death usually because school gets crazy. Regardless, I’m very pleased that I somehow evaded eternal gloom (for the most part) in November.
Some cool things happened this month, including two university open houses in two different locations in Ontario (London + Windsor = two road trips, two weekends in a row), that high school dance life (my first hs dance when ur last year is next year and this is the first social occasion you’ve attended haaaa lol rip) and Literally The Worst Case Of Writer’s Block Ever I Kid You Not. (Which I will definitely go into in this month’s writing update!)
Overall, November was this very chaotic amalgamation of busy, but cumulatively, was pretty darn memorable. Darn.
Onto the goals.
(Also, I don't know if I’ve ever explained this in recent years, but I work with goals in a very strange way. As in, I don't really work with them, as in, I write these posts every month with goals, then never refer to them for the entire month, then come back a month later ?? and ?? for some ?? reason this ?? works ?? it’s also very entertaining to laugh at my failures is that morbid that I enjoy this very much oh no)
(I enjoy writing these posts a lot though, they give me some time to reflect on the last 30 or 31 days I’ve lived and they act as a great routine. :))
Anywhoozies, onto the things I did and mostly did not do:
1. Hit 15k in FOSTERED #6
So. Let’s just talk about this goal very briefly, shall we. As I mentioned above, November and I did not get along in terms of writing, as in, November served me a big ol’ slice of Writer’s Block and left me to choke on it. I wasn't really expecting this block to be so severe, but it was a thing, and it was very real. I mentioned this in DtWT #66, and I know writer’s block is controversial (some people thinks it’s a bullshit excuse, some people don't care, some people strongly believe in it, etc). I stand on the side of ‘in creative fields, every artist is bound to run into some form of a challenge at some point in their career’. As a creative person, I've experienced tons of creative block. In some cases, yes, this block is caused by fear, lack of ideas, sometimes procrastination, but ohhhh myyy, November’s writer’s block was none of these things.
Initially, it was straight up fear, I’ll admit that. I was just starting this book, didn't want to screw up the beginning of the *very last* book, couldn't piece together ideas that I thought were good even though @sarahkelsiwrites was very honest about them and had good feedback, etc, etc. I would say the first week and a half of this block were straight-up fear based. And then weeks 2 + 3 came and it sort of wasn't anymore. I wasn't scared to write this book because at this point, I was pretty fed up with my moping and fear, and just wanted to get some words out.
*and then the words stopped coming and they just stopped coming*
(which isn't entirely the truth, but let me elaborate)
In this time period, I was still writing. I was still hitting my 250 goal almost every single day, and there wasn't one day I didn't go about writing, or go about figuring out how to go about writing. To me, writer’s block doesn't mean I’m not writing. It just means there’s this disconnect that prevents me from immersing myself into my work, thus holding me back from creating the best thing I possibly can, OR making me think I’m creating something of unsubstantial standards. Does this make sense.
So yes, I was very out of it, and I really do think this block was triggered by fear, and once I got over that fear, lingered. BUT I’m doing MUCH better now, let’s not jinx this, AKA I hit 15 587 words this month and when I made this goal literally didn't think I would haaaa bless.
2. Outline more of ALANNIS, and like maybe try to finish it, though I mean this isn’t going to happen, so yeah, just work on it pls
No. lol. So. I’m going to count this as a half win, because I did complete this goal, but not by much. In October’s post, I mentioned I wanted to go through this outline to see if I could possibly shift some of them into the POV of my boi Matthew. This novel is narrated by Chris, and while I love my girl, something was missing from the story, and so I was like, yanno, screw it, let’s see if I can find some chapters to give to Matt just for the hell of it. Overall, I found about 12 or so chapters I could give to him (excluding new ideas that I haven't gotten, but yes), which is pretty good. Not sure I even want to do this dual POV thing, but I mean, I worked on the outline sort of so. (I really need to get on top of this thing I’ve been outlining it for like a year oops.)
3. Upload cover making video
So abridged version of this disclaimer: basically, my hard drive died on me this month, it had all the footage for all my upcoming YouTube vids, including all the speedpaints and cover making vids, lol sigh back up your stuff kids, didn't listen to myself, rip my data, you will be missed (didn’t lose anything personal and my documents are always protected because they’re the most important) SOOO that happened. HOWEVERRR, this is not an excuse for why I did not finish this goal because I literally had another cover making video exported and ready on my computer BUUUUT I’m vERYyyY extra and wasn't liking how my THUMBNAIL was coming out so yesterday when I was scrambling to actually get this goal done because good job time management, was like yo okay imma redo this tomorrow, and so here’s the thumbnail:
And here’s the ugly shit it was before:
AND ACTUALLY, the only reason I never got this vid up like I dunno THREE WEEKS AGO WHEN IT WAS READY, was because of this THUMBNAILLLL WHICH HAS BEEN LIKE A 2 WEEK PROCESS.
(why do I take these things so seriously)
(this thumbnail took me longer to make than the goddamn book cover)
(I digress so sorry for that rant)
(th u mb n a il)
I did get the video up today, though, and you can watch it right here:
youtube
4. Read a book yo.
I actually did this, lol. I finished Kristen Martin’s Shadow Crown this month and started History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund, but I’ve been reading that one at school and like, so far, I’m getting the vibe that I need some hardcore tea and snow and a fire log and some peace and quiet to just appreciate this book because so far I’ve read it in math class and while I do enjoy my math class, i’m getting the feeling this book ain’t no math class aesthetic. (so, the answer is, no I didn't finish this book, but yes, I really really want to because i’m liking it a lot so far and the voice is nice as fuuuuuuuuh and dooooon’t get me started on the writing clapz for dayz)
5. Finish another character portrait
I actually did four portraits this month, two of which are Christmas gifts so I can’t share those at the moment, but here’s one I did of @sarahkelsiwrites’ character Simon:
(and you can watch the speedpaint HERE)
And then one I did of Quinn, my MC for THIS IS WHERE THE END STARTS:
(which might be my favourite piece of art and you can watch the speedpaint HERE)
6. Find and finalize an ALANNIS epigraph
I dunno why this is still a goal because I’m literally not going to do it if I’m hardly working on the darn outline, but yes, no, fail.
7. Work on FOSTERED #5′s book cover
Epic fail, XD. I don't like the design of the re-designed FOSTERED covers, but for the sake of consistency, I’m going along, and that's serving for some unenthusiastic cover designing but I do need to get this done so I can order copies. (WHICH, by the way, I have a new copy of I’M DISAPPOINTED to order, a copy of my sister’s novel, A HAPPINESS TO WONDER, a copy of my novelette sort of thing THE TREATED and on top of this FOSTERED #5, you can totally call me cheap for realllyyyy not wanting to pay for that shipping twice, lol. Point is, I’ll be doing an unboxing because those are literally my favourite videos ever and I’ve watched every single one on YouTube no lie. ;))
So those were the goals. Finished 4ish/almost5 out of 7 goals this much which is pretty ass, but the ones I didn't finish (with the exception of one AKA THE OUTLINE) weren't super important. Some shtuff I’d like to get done in December:
1. Hit 25k in FOSTERED #6 (aka REWIRED)
2. Outline more of ALANNIS, and like maybe try to finish it, though I mean this isn’t going to happen, so yeah, just work on it pls
COME ONNNN
(it’s literally been so long since I actually outlined this book)
3. Upload a video
4. Read a book yo.
I really do doubt I’ll get this one done, but it’d be real nice.
5. Finish another character portrait
7. Work on FOSTERED #5′s book cover
Probably also won’t finish this oneeee haaaheeaahahe
8. Make a character aesthetic
(this is sort of a cop out because I have to make one for Lonan this month since his birthday is on the 9th and for those birthday posts I need one but also I've been telling myself to do this since the start of November and ohhh noo I’m running out of time oops)
So that’s it for now, folks. I hope your November was great. :) Keep an eye out for the monthly writing update! That’s it for now, thanks for reading!

i draw a lot and i've been uploading them to instagram for a year now. i opened an account to post them on tumblr as well but.. i have gotten so shy of posting them here. i see very cool artists drawing and seeing mine. i feel like my art is so bad that i'll become a meme. what should i even do??
I know next to nothing about drawings/art but the one thing I know is that people on tumblr LOVE drawings! I have never really seen anyone make fun of someone else’s art work, usually if people don’t like it, they’ll just ignore it, but on the other hand if they like it, the feedback will be overwhelming!
remember that practice makes perfect and if you are scared about negative comments, turn off anons, because that’s where most of the trolls are hiding...
if I were you I’d definitely give it a shot! you can always go back to just instagram if you don’t like it here.
good luck! :)
