I'm allergic to sunlight
Asirel x GN!Listener
I'm not the only one that's sick of summer right? RIGHT?? So I wrote a summer fic in the hopes it will end earlier lmao, and if i have to suffer in the sun so does Pet
TWs: Listener being a little mean?, Death and Suicide Mentioned in Passing
It was beyond you how anyone could enjoy the hot and unbearable thing that was the sun. You sat huddled under an umbrella, your sunglasses just barely kept your eyes from frying, a floppy sun hat keeping the majority of the sun off of you. The lounge chair was starting to dig uncomfortably into your skin and you were only one more minor annoyance from abandoning the sand and retreating back to the beach house behind you. Speaking of annoyances...
Asirel emerged from the salty water, wet hair sticking to his forehead as he deposited his surfboard in the sand. He sauntered over, using a towel to dry himself off.
"You look so miserable over here, pet. Is your reward not to your liking?"
"Oh right, bringing a vampire to the brightest place on earth is definitely the type of reward I had in mind." You rolled your eyes, bunching up the linen swimsuit cover tighter around you.
He sat at the other end of the chair, a hand resting on your knee as you sat criss-crossed. "You've had some fun, I even saw you smiling earlier when you found that starfish. A little vacation after protecting me seemed like quite the fair deal to me."
Asirel must have felt he needed to overcompensate with the reward after a few men entered the estate with guns, though they barely made it a foot through the door before you were on them in a flurry of bloodlust and rage. It was as if he was saying 'see, you'll get nice things if you keep me safe'.
"That reminds me, I got you something." The chair squeaked as he leaned over, digging through the beach bag next to you until he freed a book from the bottles of sunscreen and towels. He wiped excess sand off it before passing it to you. "I found this."
"I swear if this is another copy of Twilight I'll drain you..." You mumbled and grabbed it with a quizzical expression. The book was warm in your hands, bound in red leather with a somewhat faded cover.
"You told me the title before, but you never told me much about it."
You turned it over a few times in your hands, stunned as you remembered it. "I read it before I was even turned. Well- I should say I read most of it. I never got to finish it, and I couldn't ever find a copy of it." You pulled your sunglasses down a few inches, staring into his eyes despite the harsh sunlight. "Where did you find this?"
Asirel seemed unaware of your compulsion, or just unfazed, as if he was expecting it. "I have my ways."
Damn it. Not a lie, of course, but not exactly the truth. You decided to abandon getting a straight answer. You put your sunglasses back up. "I'll have to read this later. Thank you."
He smiled, a smirk you often wished you could wipe off his face. "Of course, only the best for you, pet."
Asirel stretched out, laying against the lower half of the chair with his legs in the sun. "Lunch should be ready soon, if the sun is getting to you we can head inside now."
You put the book down into your lap. "We can stay a few more minutes."
"Good," He rested his hands behind his head as he looked out into the ocean. "It's been so many years since I've been here."
"Hm, really? You have access to a beach house on your own island 24/7 and you just... don't go?"
"My sister uses it more than I do." He explained. "She's quite the busy body, and travel has always been something she's enjoyed. We came together many times as children, but I just haven't had much desire to return since."
"Is that when you got your amazing surfing abilities?"
Asirel glared at you. He was very much not good at surfing. You stopped counting after the fourth wipe out. Your maniacal giggling made him roll his eyes at you. He stood up instead, holding out a hand and helping you to your feet.
"Let's head in and have some drinks to cool down," Asirel used a spare towel to wrap around you, bunched up around your shoulders.
"I told you the sun won't kill me, you don't have to cover me."
"I know," he said, his voice almost drowned out by the waves flowing in. "but I know it's not pleasant."
Asirel found out from first hand experience the myths surrounding vampires. He came to your room one day, stunned to see you pulling back the thick curtains and peering out the window to the garden below. He rushed over, pulling you away and covering the sun again, demanding to know why you'd try to kill yourself in the sunlight. You could hardly explain the misconception between your laughs.
He kept a hand wrapped around your shoulder and began to lead you up the path and to the beach house.
"Why don't we come back when this jet lag wears off? Swimming under the stars sounds much more enjoyable, doesn't it?"
You could stop the chuckle when you asked, "Will you teach me how to surf then?"
Asirel rolled his eyes, escorting you into the beach house.

hellooooo there i just discovered your blog! I see that requests are open and i’d like to request vacation with gojo and reader and megumi and tsumiki 🫶🫶🫶
Summertime Giggles
Pairing: Gojo Satoru x Fem!Reader
wc:1315 | cw: FEM!Reader, cursing, Kid Megumi is kinda ooc, boobies, pre!established relationship, fluff, crackfic kinda
Description: Gojo being an ass while you four are at the beach.
Characters: Megumi Fushiguro, Tsumiki Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo
I am so so so so so so so sorry anonny, I've been stalling on your request forgive me forgive me. 🙏 well, here it is. Tell me if this isn't what you were looking for and you can request me again 😋😋😋
“Satoru, where is the sunscreen?”
You're rustling through the woven beach bag, passing through an excessive amount of sunglasses, a beach towel, a hat, chips?!
“Huh? It’s in the bag.” He answers confidently, whistling with his tinted glasses on as he leaned in the chair, legs out, arms behind his head, relaxing in the shade brought by the large umbrella.
In your hand is a spray sunscreen, but the lotion is nowhere to be found.
“You didn't put it in here.”
He gawks at you, feigning innocence with a hurt expression. “Of course I did, baby!” He pouts in his seat, Megumi glancing at him as you find a spray. The boy’s arm is out as you spray it. Nlt caring if sunscreen gets in his mouth, he rats out, “When you told him he never got off the couch.”
“Hey now, that’s not true,”
You kept a gentle smile on your face, continuing to spray the boy down before slipping on his floaties and spraying down Tsumiki.
“Right Tsumiki? I got up, right?”
Tsumiki sheepishly smiles, you spraying her legs with that scary smile. “Well.. I don’t really remember..”
Everyone in this household knows that when Tsumiki 'doesn't remember,’ that’s her way of saying she does and Satoru, in fact, did not listen.
You finish on Tsumiki, spraying her face and ears quickly before turning to Satoru. The can is in your hands, smile stiff.
“Satoru, your turn.” You tell him in a sickly sweet tone. He shudders, eyes wide as he robotically makes his way towards you.
He sits in front of you, bare back facing you as you spray him auddenly.
He yelps, infinity off and hold liauid hittinf him under the warm raya of the sun. “S’ coLD!”
You say nothing, smiling as you spray his stomach. His abs flex before he finally gets up, standing asay form you. His hand out(from a distance). “Just hand it here.”
Your head tilts, a clueless expression on ylur face. “But I’m almost done?” You tell him, almost confused.
His eyes dilate at your face. ‘So cute’
Your deer like eyes reeling him back in, not even realizing your shaking up the can. His glasses long gone, left on his seat. “Hold your breath.” You say quickly, and his eyes go wide.
“What—?” He says, only to be cut off by the intense sprays of sunscreen into his face. He coughs loudly, waving his hands around as you continue your assault, spraying him until he can is near empty.
He stands up and back away frkm you, still coughing.
“You’re not a child, come back here.” You command him. He ignores you, looking out into the ocean. Megumi watches the way his eyss light up a little more than usual, an idea blasting through his head. Faster than infinite void.
Tsumiki sees him too, watching him turn back to you, whi kept the smile on your face until you met his own mischievous expression.
“Sweetcheeks,” he draws out that silly pet name, taking a hard step towards you. The sand is unmoving. His infinity was on, reduring you defenseless while he had what you would call, a damn suit of armor.
You shuffle back, throwing the can at his head. It thunks on his infinity, bouncing off and rolling away.
“Go away!” You shouted, eyes wide with fear. A playful shadow looms over his face, only his piercing eyes visible. His hands are up in the air, twitching ad you continue shuffling back in the sand until your back hits his seat. With no where to run, you squeak, hands covering your head as he lunges at you, infinity off as he takes you in his arms. (He’s holding you like a sack of potatoes).
“NO!” You scream, slapping his back.
You’re like a feather on his shoulder, your hits are like waves of wind.
He laughs while running into the water. Along the way you find yourself laughing as well between your shouts, he’s waist deep while you’re not wet yet, feet tickling the water before he counts down. Your laugher finally stops.
“Three…”
Your eyes wide, grip even harder on him. Your position is adjusted; your legs wrap around his waist, arms locked on his neck, face full of panic.
From the shore, Tsumiki is laughing, waving at yhe two of you. Hell, even Megumi, the stone cold freak as Satoru refers him, is giggling to himself.
“Two…”
“SATORU! Satoru! Satoru..”
Your voice going from a shout to a sweet call, arms loosening around his neck, your hands make their way to his shoulders, giving him a snug squeeze. “Toru, the love of my life. Future husband, future father to my kids,”
You trail ln, and his dxpression is smug. Eyebrows raised, lips lressed in a tight smile.
“Keep going…”
“You are the best thing thats ever—”
“Too basic,” he says just as fast, dropping you into the water. You didn’t even realize it was so deep, the water reaching just below your breasts.
Your coughing, trying to get up, but Satoru keeps lushing you back down.
“What the— what gives?!” You try to shout, moving the now wet hair from your face, voice hoarse from previous shouting and salt water stuck in your throat.
He gets really clise to your face, body submerged hnder the crystal blue water. His voice soft in whisper, he tells you, “Well, unless you want to get charged with public indecency, I suggest you get that,” his eyes glance down, “fixed.”
“What?” You mutter, looking down at yourself. You hugged Satoru a little too quickly. His head leans back, laughter bubbling from the back of his throat.
“HAHA!” He laughs, one of his large hands on your back, pressing your breasts onto his chest, the other covering his eyes.
When the laughter subsides, his hand fiddling behind your neck, fingers brushing you every now and then as he retightens the Bikini top, still giggling every now and then.
“Alright babe, it’s fixed.”
You look up at him, his big fat head is covering the sun, but he just looks so graceful. His smile is bright, and big. His eyes are uncovered, gleaming a bright blue. They’re crinkled as they stare down at you, smiling so bright that it hurts.
“Ah, what a gentleman—for once..” you mutter under your breath, your hands on his shoulders, pressing him down. He leans, and you get on your tippy toes in the water, placing a kiss on his cheek.
He was expecting one on the lips, cheek kisses are good though. They make him feel fuzzy.
Flabbergasted, he stands looking at you, watching you as you trudge away in the water back to the kids. Megumi is laughing with Tsumiki, and this might be the only time, Satoru thinks, the only time you guys would see him act as a kid.
He watches as you pick Megumi up, whispering something in his ear while Tsumiki stands close, watching as you tell her something slightly different than what you told the younger boy. The three of you lived in a different world from the girl who couldn't see curses. She had no idea of their existence, and it would stay that way.
Megumi on your hip, he watches as you wave at him. You looked as though you were telling him you come over, so he begins his trudge over to the three of you.
He watched you mutter something to Tsumiki, and she giggles, covering her mouth. Before Satoru shouts at them to figure out what was happening, the Sun disappears. A large wave of water looms over him, and he can only stand and watch in terror as it comes crashing down on him.
“Uh oh.” He mumbles, before getting pummeled by large waves of water.
The last thing he recalls hearing is the laughter escaping your mouths.
As long as you guys were happy, he guesses.

a bit of a odd request Franklin Clinton x EXTREMELY PALE reader
ISTG I burn so easily and get made fun if sm😭😭😭😭😭
Franklin Clinton with an extra pale S/O:
*His protective mode is activated every time you guys go out. If you’re wearing clothes that expose your skin (tank top, shorts, etc.) he’s going to remind you a hundred times to put on sunscreen before leaving the house. If you’re going to be gone for extended amounts of time (at the beach, at a concert, walking around town) he brings more sunscreen with him in his pocket to make sure you’re always covered.
If, on the off chance, you do still end up sunburnt he’s got everything already at his house to make it easier- he’s got ice packs, aloe cream, lotions, and pain medicine. He’s bringing you ice water round the clock to keep you hydrated and doing anything he can to keep you comfortable. He doesn’t often get sunburned but he can tell by how bright red your usually pale skin is that it must really hurt.
He may tease you a bit about how pale you are and how easily you get sunburnt but it’s all in good fun and he’s always there to be the first one to make sure you’re prepared for a day out in the sun. He’s the only one allowed to pick on you though. Lamar may have tried calling you things like “vampire” and other childish, silly names. But Frank is always there to tell him to fuck off and quit being stupid, even if you take the teasing in stride. He thinks everything about you is perfect and he lets you know that daily. You being extremely pale is just a part of who you are, and while your friends may pick on you for burning so easily and being so light he’s always there to tell people off and make sure you’re protected when you’re out in the sun.*
“Ay, hold up!” Franklin calls after you almost frantically as he stops you at the door, “What are you doin’?”
You tilt your head in mild confusion, giving him an absent shrug, “Getting ready to go out? You said we’d go to the beach today.”
With a tinge of concern in his voice, Franklin places a hand on the top of your head. "I know we planned on hittin’ up the beach, babe, but remember you burn pretty easy. We gotta make sure you're protected." He teases, pulling out a big beach bag stuffed with various items. "I've got this covered."
While you watch without argument, bemused by his protectiveness, Franklin begins pulling out an array of sunscreens, from SPF 30 to SPF 100, along with a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and a colorful beach umbrella. "We gonna have the best beach day ever, and you won't get fried."
You can't help but chuckle at his determination, appreciating the thoughtfulness. "You're amazing, Franklin."
He winks at you. "Gotta make sure ya taken care of, right?"
With Franklin's careful preparations, the two of you set off for a day at the beach. Under the shade of the umbrella, you enjoy the sun and the sound of the waves, without worrying about getting sunburn. If there was one thing you loved most about Frank it was how much he cared for you.

COMMON GALARIAN L, try not being from the WORST REGION next time.
Anyways, now that I've got THAT out of my system, I can't help YOUR shitty INFRASTRUCTURE, but average TEMPERATURES are on the RISE worldwide, so this is a complaint I hear a lot. I'm from ORRE, so ball-busting HEAT is something I've dealt with for almost my whole life. So, if there's ANYONE on the TEAM qualified to tell YOU about how to deal with it, it's ME.
THRASH'S Guide to Not DYING From HEAT STROKE or SUN POISONING
YOUR CLOTHES. If you want to stay COOL, wear LIGHT colors, and make sure the clothing is LOOSE and LIGHTWEIGHT. Linen and cotton are good choices in terms of MATERIALS. For UV protection, wear DARK or BRIGHT colors. When I say BRIGHT, I mean like neons and shit, not pastels. There are specially-made SUN-protective fabrics out there, but if those are INACCESSIBLE to YOU, polyester and rayon also work fine. Anything tightly-woven will do the trick, really. If YOU don't mind looking like a DAINTY BITCH, carrying an UMBRELLA or PARASOL to keep the sun off of YOUR body will help a lot. If that isn't YOUR style, HATS and SUNGLASSES can also help.
LIGHT and LOOSE clothes absorb less HEAT and allow for your sweat to EVAPORATE easier, which will keep you cooler. DARK and TIGHT clothes absorb more HEAT, but they also keep the RADIATION from the SUN from penetrating your skin. These are both very IMPORTANT factors to consider when dealing with HEAT, but unfortunately, YOU have to pick one or the other with clothes.
HYDRATE. This is the most IMPORTANT thing to remember. ALWAYS take plenty of WATER with YOU when YOU'RE going out for ANY period of time. AND DON'T WAIT TO DRINK IT UNTIL YOU'RE THIRSTY. THIRST is a symptom of mild DEHYDRATION and YOU do NOT want to deal with DEHYDRATION in ANY CAPACITY while the SUN is trying to KILL YOU. Having a WATER TYPE or a POKEMON who knows a WATER MOVE can help, but make sure YOU do YOUR RESEARCH to ensure that the WATER they produce is potable for YOU and the rest of YOUR PARTY. Also, remember to keep up YOUR electrolyte intake if YOU'RE doing anything high-intensity. That means sports drinks.
Sweating is a good sign. If YOU stop sweating during the HEAT or while doing intense activities, STOP IMMEDIATELY and DRINK SOME WATER. That's a sign that YOU'RE severely DEHYDRATED and close to HEAT EXHAUSTION.
Stay indoors as much as possible. I know YOU just said it's just as bad INSIDE as it is OUTSIDE, but being indoors will at least keep the SUN off of YOU. Plus, if YOU have fans, YOU can at least keep the air circulating and EVAPORATE the sweat off of YOUR body, which will keep YOU a little cooler. If YOU HAVE to be outside, try to keep in the shade as much as possible, and try to avoid DIRECT SUN during the peak DAYLIGHT hours. Also, SUNSCREEN. DO NOT FORGET SUNSCREEN. It won't help YOU stay cool, but it WILL help YOU not DIE. SUN POISONING is NO JOKE.
This is a pretty common myth still, so let me put it to bed right now: YOUR MELANIN WILL NOT SAVE YOU. DARK skin and LIGHT skin both BURN. In fact, it's MORE dangerous to leave DARK skin unprotected as the signs of SUN POISONING are harder to spot on it. I don't CARE what RACE YOU ARE. PUT ON THE DAMN SUNSCREEN.
YOUR PARTY. Make sure YOU RESEARCH YOUR PARTY'S NEEDS when it comes to HEAT and SUN protection. Overall, POKEMON tend to be more resistant than HUMANS to harsh ENVIRONMENTS, but some are less RESISTANT than others, and some take the HEAT worse than HUMANS. ICE TYPES in general have a bad time in the HEAT, and a lot of FIGHTING TYPES require more WATER than HUMANS by default. GRASS TYPES generally love the SUN, but make sure YOU keep them from too much exposure because they can also get SUNBURN, and WATER TYPES can get DEHYDRATED if exposed for too long.
Again, HEAT and SUN resistance are case-by-case, even within the same species. Talk to YOUR local NURSE JOY to ensure that YOU'RE taking the proper precautions for YOUR PARTY'S wellbeing. Even if YOU think the question is STUPID, YOU'LL look a lot STUPIDER if YOU bring YOUR POKEMON in with HEAT STROKE because YOU were too stubborn to ask for HELP.
That's all I can think of for NOW. Hope this HELPS!
—ADMIN THRASH
Around this time of year people always go ‘haha Galarians are so week all they do is complain about the heat come to [insert region here] we have [hot wether location]’.
And yeah. We are pussies when it comes to the wether. Why do you think we complain so much? It’s the only thing we’ve got going on.
But here’s the thing. It’s humid heat. Wet heat. So you don’t get time to dry off in the night, sleep or frankly enough breathe because it’s so heavy!! And we have no AC in Galar. Plus our buildings are all old! They’re made to retain heat!! So it’s boiling inside and outside!! There is no escape!!!
Anyway how do you survive in hot wether I am dying how do I get my Pokémon to not get heatstroke they are all babies and there’s only so many times I can run them a cold bath.

Things to Do in Dallas Newsletter 6/20-26
I just posted this week's Things to Do list on the Dallas subreddit. Some followers expressed interest in a newsletter, so here's some commentary to go along with this week's list.
It's dang hot outside and if you're looking for ways to cool off, you might be looking for swimming pools. City pools are great, and I've been meaning to visit the Heritage Aquatic Center in Irving. It's free for people over 50 (and that's me!) Haven't made it yet, but might make it out to the apartment complex pool once or twice this week.
If you're looking for places to swim, your options aren't limited to your gym or public swimming pools. You'll find more than a handful of hotel pool swimming parties on this week's list for Sunday. You can find more on several other days this week and all summer on Eventbrite, which curates a list of pool parties in the Dallas area.
You can also find hotel pools that let you pay to be a guest for the day on ResortPass.com. The pool at the Hilton Dallas Rockwall is a lakefront pool with gorgeous views and day passes start at $30 a day. The Hilton Anatole looks to be the priciest option, starting at $55 a day, but their "pool" is a whole waterpark, Jade Waters. Just know you'll need to figure in extra expenses for parking and food and drinks.
While making the list this week, I discovered that Friday is National Food Truck Day. That worked out well because food trucks have been on my mind since I got back from a work trip to Austin. Y'all know I'm a fan of loving where you live and I never want to badmouth Dallas, but DAMN, the food truck scene in Austin puts Dallas to shame (and back again.) There are food trucks and food truck parks EVERYWHERE.
In April, the Dallas City Council FINALLY eased up on some food truck and trailer regulations in Dallas proper, so hopefully things will be looking better soon. But we need to get a move on.
One way I think you can help is to attend the MLK Food Park at Fair Park, scheduled for this Sunday and three Sundays in July. Yes, it's hot out, but your support for this venture will help in multiple ways. First it shows support for the food truck business and second, it helps the neighborhood of Fair Park and South Dallas. Third, you'll be supporting LOCAL businesses and I know you love to do that. So head over to Fair Park on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you do go to this event or any other outdoor event, bring an umbrella (for shade) or wear a hat, and apply and reapply sunscreen. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated, and don't hesitate to duck into your car or an air-conditioned building if you get too hot. This heat is brutal!
By the way, here are my favorite food trucks and where to find them this week.
Ruthie's Food Truck
The grilled cheeses are great, and the mission is even greater. Part of Cafe Momentum's internship program, and always a contributor to our local community and non-profit organizations, you can't go wrong here. Find them at Klyde Warren park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fletcher's Corny Dogs
You don't have to wait for the fair to get your Fletcher's fix, but it does look like you'll have to wait till July. Right now no further events are scheduled for June.
The Butcher's Son
Another favorite of mine from Klyde Warren Park, they'll have their sandwiches, sliders and quesadillas at the park every day this week.
Frios Gourmet Pops, Bruno's Italian Ice
I'm not a big fan of ice cream, especially when it's hot (it MELTS!) but ices and pops are good. These are some of the best I've had! Both will be at Klyde Warren Park on Saturday.
Coming Events
July 4th will be here before you know it, and Fair Park Fourth is back this year. Also Addison Kaboomtown, which you'll either want to plan to attend or avoid. I'll also be watching for news of a streaming fireworks show from Reunion Tower. That one's my favorite because I can watch it from home.
My "If I...Weekend"
Years ago, I used this format for a things to do list I wrote regularly, and I thought I'd bring it back for this newsletter and see how you like it.
If I had a hundred dollars, I'd join the Perot Museum as a member ($95 for two adults.) Instead, I'll just go to Thursdays on Tap for live music, beer, food trucks and the Jane Goodall exhibit. Usually for this one I come up with an event that costs $100, but I may have to raise that a bit to fill this one in the future. We'll see.
If I had kids, I'd take them to see the original Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory on the lawn at the AT&T Discovery District on Sunday night. (This is a bonus not listed in the Reddit Things to Do list, and the details are on a Facebook event page.)
If I wanted to feel like a kid again, I'd go to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Toy Story Live in Concert performance.
If I wanted to feel old (and happy about it), I'd go to see Hard Night's Day at Legacy Hall on Friday night.
If I wanted to feel like an insider, I'd head to the newly opened Dive-In pool bar by the folks from Lee Harvey's.
If I had a dog, we'd go to the nearest MUTTS Canine Cantina on Friday night for Tails and Tunes.
If I wanted to celebrate with beer, I'd hit up the Ash and Ember Brewing two-year anniversary party in Cedar Hill on Friday night. Here's the Facebook event page.
If I wanted to discover some new art, I'd head to Texas Sculpts at The ArtCentre of Plano. The works of nine North Texas sculptors are on display through August 27.
That's all for this week. If you enjoyed this newsletter, please consider dropping something in my tip jar. It's midway down the out-of-date home page on one of my websites. (Updates coming soon!)

Imagine a woman working in her garden, ensuring her rows of green beans and carrots are not invaded by pesky weeds. The sun is boiling overhead, even her wide brimmed hat is not enough to protect her or the sunscreen still a bit lumped on her nose where she did not rub it in. As she gets further and further into her garden, pressing on just a little bit more, a sudden shape falls over her path-
Followed by the 'womph' of an umbrella opening.
She looks up with a cheeky smile knowing full well the stick like fingers holding the umbrella over her body that now blots out the cruel sun. He stands there near reed thin one knew immediately he could not be human-in need of more staw stuffing she notes too. There is no fear on her visage as his wooden face audibly cracks with an imperfect grin of his own.
"You don't have to do that." She motions to his kind gesture as a part of her fears he might catch on fire from the intense rays slatting down, something she could not live with.
They have know each other so long that without the other the garden, farm, and thier lives would be incomplete.
She and her living scarecrow.
"It's not like I'll get tired doing this. Better than standing about and having that pesky wood pecker start eyeing my noggin' again." His voice is somehow both brittle and light, bouncing again straw, wood, thread, twine, and all the pieces holding him tight together. "Plus you were startin' to look a little too rosy."
"Hmm... Well, perhaps I can take a short break and let it cool down. I've got some fresh starwberry lemonade in the fridge that should be ready. Annnd some tuna salad sandwiches for lunch." She mentions with a sly tone, for while he was supposed to be inanimate he could eat and drink, though where it went later she had no idea.
He looks all the more eager at that notion, but quickly his usual erratic and silly self starts to quiet. "Sounds wonderful, though you know I could always do this for you. You work so hard out here, taking care of your mother's property. I can't help you when others are around, so I-"
The straggly scraecrow is cut off in that midafternoon light, feeling soft lips suddenly brush against the mossy bark and burlap of his own. She rested her hands on his shoulders that are firm beneath her touch.
"And risk you growing those prickle weeds again? I think I can handle this far better than another burr in bed."
*suffering intense scarecrow monster boyfriend feels tonight* ( *0*)
