Ah, it's late again. He really needs to get better about his time management but he's salaried, so it's not like it matters how many hours he's clocked in for. Ibara shifts in his seat and rubs his eyes under his glasses. For a moment he thinks it would be nice to have an assistant that could help him out but that would never work with the amount of information he has to keep under wraps.

Or maybe having a second person to help would make him less likely to give up that information out of sheer exhaustion. He'll talk to the president about it tomorrow. He should make a note of that before he forgets. He should pack up and go back to his dorm for the day. Ibara lays his head on his desk and closes his eyes, just for a few minutes he tells himself. Just a few minutes of rest and he'll be up and back on his way to the dorm and actually sleep in his own bed.

Someone shakes him awake. It's gentle and Ibara thinks of the kids in those movies Hiyori makes them watch that ask for five more minutes from their parents. He's too dignified to do something like that though.

Someone chuckles and shakes him again and Ibara finally opens his eyes. It's lighter than he remembered it being when he went to...oh. He fell asleep at the office again. He buries his head in his arms, grumbling.

"Ibara." He bolts upright.

"Your Excellency! Why are you here so early in the morning?"

Nagisa laughs. "Someone told me they never saw you leave last night. Is everything okay, Ibara?"

He relaxes and leans back in his chair. God his back hurts but he has another long day at work. He'll make a note of that later.

There's something soft against his cheek. It's a little scratchy but--

"Your Excellency that is entirely--!"

"We're alone in your office Ibara."

He just knows his face is going to be as dark as his hair with how it heats up from the gesture. A kiss, even just on the cheek... He'll deal. He'll deal with it. It's not like it's something he wishes he got more often or anything.

"T-that's besides the point. Don't do it again."

Nagisa chuckles and Ibara resigns himself to spending his day with Eden's leader.

Whoever is reading this, I'm ok (like hell I am), but I'm not gonna be publicly active for a while, only here in this tiny space I've created for myself, other servers, and occasionally, youtube uploads. I do want to say, that was fucking stupid of me, I'm truly sorry, but I'm too much of a coward to say it to everyone's face. I ruin every friendship I'm in, irl and online. I should shut up sometimes.

I... got 90 for PKn and 98 on Geography...

I don't know how to feel, to be honest.

To be so close to perfection, yet...

Only one mistake in the multiple choices for Geography.

Also discovered that I got a 45 on Math. I'm slow, I know. Only got a few questions done before the time ran out ._.

Hopefully that'll be my only remedial. Tomorrow I have Chemistry and English, along with Scouts for whatever reason. They just announced that suddenly smh

All of 10th grade worked together on scouts exam (clearly not allowed), pretty sure everyone failed anyway. Scouts is a bitch.

So uh, the PKN/Geography teacher decided to deduct like, 8 points from our grades ._.

Yeah I got roped into it as well... He did say that there might be other point additions/deductions. We'll see tomorrow.

Now, the only reason I'm talking about this is because I think we weren't completely in the wrong. You see, they suddenly announced the scouts exam, and not a single bit of materials were given out. We didn't know anything. They didn't teach us anything, either. It's like they were just setting all of 10th (and maybe 11th) grade up for failure.

Oh btw that point deduction made the passing rate (for PKN) drop from ~96% to only about 30%.

Last exam done. Update on PKN and Geography: The point deduction thing was a joke and we didn't actually do that well, the teacher put a random big number to troll everyone on the first two days (I still BARELY passed PKN with a 71, Geography score should be out soon).

i don't put much stock in gamepress, or datamines, personally. i've been around in arknights for long enough that people thought from datamines that darknights memoir would be in october of 2020 and it wasn't until january of 2021 and things like twilight of wolumonde got shuffled because of it.

my theory on the schedule stands, and it's that cc is a dead week to give everyone a breather on dorothy, and she's gonna overlap with the dossoles holiday rerun, followed by mlynar and near light rerun. or even that they have enough time to space all of that out slightly more.

why? because this game is predictable enough with its limited ops that limited ops on the english servers try to hit on the anniversaries and halfiversaries. it's only rational based on their past behavior- and that alone- that they're going to do il siracusano at the end of august for the halfiversary. this is the whole reason they moved gavialter up. every time arknights has made a big schedule change like this it's to put up a limited operator for an anniversary.

that leaves them months to throw in everything that got pushed back for gavialter. read: dorothy. contingency contract is right now rather than dorothy because arknights' scheduling is usually pretty kind. they like to take a little bit of a break before throwing a new operator at you, is all.it gives people a chance to recover slightly before dorothy. i'm really not that worried, and i think a lot of people are overblowing it because in my mind there is a infinitesimally small chance that anything but the schedule returning to usual after putting il siracusano on the 3.5 anniversary happens, with chong yue and lin releasing on global 4th anniversary. apart from this, i don't think that the LNY ops are ever going to be actually released on a LNY date, lmao. unless some more schedule shit happens. who knows. they're probably going to want the LNY ops to be halfiversary ops, unfortunately...which is a bit of a shame.

anyway, yeah, tldr, i don't trust gamepress with anything except doing the math to calculate that i have everything to e2lv90m9 mlynar (i do) and people love worrying like there isn't enough time between today and august to fit in everything that got rotated because the arknights team likes making limited ops exist for anniversary events.

Dressup games my beloved! From click-n'-drag pixel dolls on a Neopets fan site, then flash games, then Gaia Online, and now Flight Rising, Love Nikki, and Piccrews. If you give me a thing to play pretty pretty princess dressup in by GOD will I ever use it.

That's my way of saying I'm going to share some of my Love Nikki outfits and nobody can stop me.

I'd put more of the pics behind a cut but it doesn't seem to let me do that and have pics grouped together.

Alternately if you just want to go right to the Google Photos albums, I have one for regular dressup and then one for the bi-weekly competition. Highest rank I've ended at is 14th, highest I've seen myself at is 4th. I usually place in the top 5%.

I'll put my thoughts about if you should play after the outfits, but in short: don't. I have fun, but that's in huge part because of the group I'm in & having already invested a huge amount of time and a not insignificant amount of money. This is part of my daily routine and the sunk cost fallacy has me by the throat.

So, my thoughts on the game.

I really can't recommend it in...basically any capacity? Despite being two years younger, the international server (English, French, a couple other languages) is about 10-15 paid currency events behind the original server, the Chinese one.

We're literally two years behind on story updates. It takes ages for QoL updates-- including updating the interface and home screens. They avoided bringing a big spending event (aka a hell) for so long it became a meme within the LN Discord. There's a general vibe that the devs & the original company don't really care about players much. And the story, despite being surprisingly interesting, is hamstrung by iffy translation and, again, slow as hell updates.

Hard to get invested in a story when it only updates every 8-10 months and is told in awkward, broken English. I can't speak to how it reads in the other languages on this server, but I'd bet it's not great.

Some choices are genuinely baffling. Why aren't they doing reruns of events? That's functionally free money for them! The assets, translation, and everything else is already done. Yes, some of them come back for crafting, but plenty haven't. I've been waiting over two years for a certain event to come back! If it showed up tomorrow I would complete it in a heartbeat!

There's hell reruns too, which seem to have stopped entirely.

Edit: OF COURSE THERE'S AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR A HELL RERUN AS I WROTE THIS. STATEMENT RETRACTED, I FUCKING GUESS.

Yeah, it's great that we can actually save now instead of a constant stream of up to three events running concurrently! But this feels like it's too far in the other direction.

It feels downright janky at times, despite being big enough that there have been collaborations with Barbie and MOTHERFUCKING DISNEY! I don't think a dressup game can have a bigger jewel in their proverbial crown than official, licensed Disney princess outfits!

So, yeah. If you aren't already playing, don't start. It's not worth it. Admire from afar, maybe, but don't be suckered in.

So I realise I've been sending a lot of asks that almost always vary in length from Long to Really Long and I'm very sorry if it gets annoying xgjxjg I'll slow down on the asks if it is!

So I'm gonna get in on cn server content screaming because evERYONE IS SO GORGEOUS????? I love them so much they all look so good I'm terrified of what's coming next. We had the exact same observation with Luke on the ground fgkfyi it looks like they're literally in the middle of entering did he just randomly crouch the minute he was in?? Is this something he just does casually? Did he do it in the Manor of Hermes too? I'm making this a habit of his.

Forget all the boys giving mc layers Marius alone could probably shed enough layers to keep mc warm and still remain bundled up. He looks like he's dressed for an expedition to the Arctic while mc looks she's on a day out in town when the weather is kind of cold.

About limited events, it is a lot like ongoing tv shows, I hadn't thought about it like that! Jumbled events really can mess up a story and its progression. I don't think there are words in the English language to describe how I felt when playing through the main story of an otome, having a character threaten to kill the mc very painfully and then opening the ongoing event and seeing said character say heartfelt romantic lines to mc with a kiss scene at the end. It was a very surreal experience and honestly kind of hilarious.

xfjzfhxj poor Artem being put on the spot like that. The team will love Dirt Leaf and their name will be part of the reason why. Vyn will probably incorporate Dirt Leaf into his campaigns and make the rest cry over them somehow. Watch as the backstory behind Dirt Leaf's name is revealed to be one of the saddest things Vyn has ever come up with.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SKIRMISH CONTENT!!! I will never regret asking people about their dnd characters it's always just So Nice to hear about them!! Their backstory is really interesting and I really like how they got their name! And the fanfic. The Fanfic. I'm so tempted to give a piece by piece recount of all the parts I loved but I'm pretty sure that would cause this ask to hit the word limit so I will try to condense it. I'm a sucker for repetition in writing, in music, in film, in Literally Everything. You used repitition Wonderfully in that fic. Everytime I read "tell me something real" it evoked a different emotion in me and tied the story together so well. I knew how it would end and Still I was hoping for a happy ending and my heart broke when it didn't happen. In summary I care Skirmish so much I wish nothing but the best for them.

THEIR ANTICS ARE SO FUN!!! Every single thing you shared brought me so much joy. Personal favourite is definitely their made up story about the sword fhifgii that one really backfired on you. Honestly though props to you for actually being able to improvise that long of a story! I'm pretty impressed! I absolutely would have floundered halfway through that.
