What I love about it is how Elsie is such a badass around everyone but when it comes to Shane she turns into putty like a reverse of Shane in game. Also love an OC with body modifications!

Plus black hair Shane is just 🫠

omg yesss 😂 that's Elsie to a T. She's such a badass and then she sees Shane and she's like:

He's her kryptonite, absolutely. And who can blame her?

Yeah 😂 I may or may not have pierced my own nipples in the summer so I could have a fraction of the coolness that is Ms. Elsbeth Ann Wight. She's everything I wish I could be, which I suppose is what making an OC is all about 😍

Funny story about how my black-haired Shane came to be. It was for a couple of reasons: 1) When I first played the game, I legit thought his hair was black. I assumed it was a stylistic choice that it has a sheen of purple in his portrait, because staunch black is harder to draw correctly. And his sprite has darker hair than his portrait 2) I use more "realism" for hair colour in my stories. Abby dyes her hair, so does Emily, etc. And I couldn't see Shane, depressed as he is, dyeing his hair purple. So even after I started seeing fanart of him with purple hair, I was like...I'm leaving it black 3) I read other stories before I began writing Kick where Shane was described with black hair, or "dark" hair. And I found the idea of this stubble-faced man with green eyes and black hair to be sooooo irresistible 🥵 and I still do. Black-haired Shane my beloved.
