#had the LEAST fun discussion with my stepdad about food allergies#like ok sorry that other people's accomodations are such a burden for you. sorry your coworker feels like not dying today. you poor baby#and he digs his fucking feet in and has no empathy over disabled issues. whcih like. not great to hear as a disabled person#i'm trying to fix how i deal with conflict but he's reinforcing the responses i'm trying to get rid of#i need to stop seeing everything as a bomb about to go off and i need to stop treating things like a threat i have to fight against#but everything around me is a bomb about to go off and a threat i need to fight against#and he's been such a good thing in my life but he's also just so frustrating to have to deal with#i love having a family that's big and cares about eachother#but it also means there's no way to make distance from one person without distancing from my entire life#pros: they're my everything. cons: they're my everything.#not that i even could if i wanted to BECAUSE I'M FUCKING DISABLED AND NEED ACCOMODATIONS AND HELP.
