Yes!! The whole reason this doc was made was so that it can be passed around as a general resource, so you are more than welcome to link it anywhere you want. The same goes for anything linked within the doc itself -- not that I own any of it anyway lol.

Suggestions are highly encouraged & appreciated! I am only one person running this doc, after all, and will not be able to uncover/document everything without some help. You can send me stuff through DMs or my ask box.

💭 What happened to the original doc?

EDIT 3/27/24: the original document had gotten marked as spam by Google. This issue has now been resolved, and it's back up & running! The backup will remain, but not updated as often as the main doc will be. Sorry, I know it's a huge mess 😖 links have been updated to the main/original doc.

I wish I knew! It was brought to my attention that it had gotten flaged for review for...some reason. I've tried figuring out how to request a review for it, but it won't work. So I've resorted to just making a new doc. Sucks, but that's all I can do right now.

Soulmate Garden AU Ch.4 (Lewisia) a1d1

[Caution: These are not full fics, or even full parts of fics for some, these are part of my writing progress archive!]

Concept: Growing up, you knew Soulmates weren't all that they cracked up to be. So when, on your 18th birthday, your skin is painted with a garden of flower buds, you resolve to hide it from everyone. Who had ever heard of someone with 8 soulmates, anyway?

Or; Reader has 8 soulmates and no issue avoiding all of them. It's up to SKZ to show her that while every soulbond might not be made of fairy tales, theirs certainly could be.

The next morning starts you back on your usual routine. It's a Tuesday, which means a dreaded gym day. You'd wonder why you do this to yourself but you know the answer is more than you'd like to hear right now.

You crawl out of bed in a foul mood, and even pausing to take in your mark can't lift it today. Youre almost surprised it doesn't make it worse actually, as you take in the purple and white blooms across your torso.

You know what they are. Of course you do. You could recite their growing conditions and meaning in Victorian flower language, if you really wanted to. You don't.

Springs and summers spent dogging your mother's shadow in the garden flash by your eyes as your fingers delicately trace droopy bellflowers on your side. Your family garden had been more your stomping grounds than your mother's by the time another petty argument between your parents had put a stop to your shared hobby.

Your father had become convinced that you were taking your mother's side about everything since you spent so much time in her garden. Never mind that the thing was basically yours. You mother had just been letting you do as you'd wished for years.

4. what is (if you read) your favorite good omens longfic?

ho BOY here we go. there's a few, and i can't list them all bc that would take forever, but i also can't just list one story bc that is nigh impossible, so i'll give you my top 5: Slow Show, The Anon Before Christmas (by the incredible @foolishlovers!), The Grindr Logo Doesn't Even Have a 'G' In It, Or Be Nice & (just finished and i am Not Okay) Good Expectations.

i consider everything multi-chaptered and over 50k words as a long fic. some of these aren't that long and one is over 200k, so.. yeah. also, heads up, always read the tags first and also most of these are rated Explicit. :)

5. what is (if you read) your favourite good omens one-shot?

again, i've read some many fantastic one-shots that i lost count. but the first thing coming to mind (yes i know i'm biased shh) is the first story of my best friend's ( @beccibarnes) series Not A One-Night Stand: 14 times they canonically fucked ("naons" for short). i remember her pitching the idea for this series to me and it was/is so much fun brainstorming all the ideas with her. i'm honoured that she let me beta-read them all and i can't wait for the future fics to come :') (no pressure tho, becci, i know how busy life was recently <3)

10. have you ever imagined or created a crossover with another fandom for good omens? which one, and what was it about?

i haven't thought of any crossovers - tbh they're not really my cup of tea - BUT imagined two au's, one more or less as a joke, and one "serious" one. the first, joke-y one is a human au that takes place in the city i live in (hamburg, germany) (don't ask) (idk how i came up with that). this one is mostly in my head, but even tho it's kinda silly, i really like it.

the second, more serious one is, again, a human au: a ballet dancer au. just bc i watched some documentary about ballet and the one male dancer they interviewed looked somewhat like david tennant... you get the gist. i have some idea written down in a dusty google doc, but that's it.

you're welcome!!!! also, i am Not a social media person At All (i'm a tumblrina through and through). the only reason i have an instagram, really, is to message friends/family who almost exclusively message people through instagram for some reason lol

+ (overly-detailed) storytime about instagram research under the cut (since i'm using your ask to take a trip down memory lane...)

back in 2021, with tremendous help from @carninator-blog (who was equally as interested in the "MotA Cast Investigation"), i managed to cobble together a growing list of cast and crew members (sometimes, i was faster than imdb lol). instagram was the Key tho, like it was INVALUABLE! if you found one person, they might post a story that shows Another person with them and, if you recognized That person, then you could find Their profile (if they had one). and so on and so forth.

anyway, it's a lot easier to do the instagram stuff now (can you believe i mainly use it for "research"). i browse the search term "mastersoftheair" and have retired the rest: "mota" (too much weed lmao), "masteroftheair" (an easy typo, but no one makes that mistake anymore), and "whirlwind" (production name which yielded 1 result out of like. 50 or more). i even had to download an old version of the instagram app bc they just HAD to get rid of the "recent" tab which is crazy inconvenient! that's where all the timely information is!!

another thing. a few guys straight up Do Not have an instagram profile (....like nate mann. it'd be hypocritical of me to not respect it but come onnnnnnn, nate mann!!) and, while some guys Do have a profile, they never post anything about MotA Ever (like fionn o'shea). further- some guys don't have a profile anymore, but they used to (like kai alexander). some guys have a private one (valid. also callum turner), some guys suddenly got Verified some time inbtwn the production and the premiere (the elliot(t)s), and some guys changed their user name (like josiah cross). every once in a long while, i have to go update my cast/crew instagram profile list on google docs with all the names and links and GODDDD i sound like a weirdass stalker now that i've put this all into words, but believe me when i say i'm very much not invested in any of the actors' personal lives!! i try to keep it as professional as i can (everything's sourced, like an archive). i'm only ever looking for the MotA stuff, Exclusively.

additionally, a lot of behind the scenes pics and videos would Only get posted in cast members' stories. if i missed that 24hr window, i'd never see it again (unless they decided to put them on their profile), so, i'd check their instagram profiles Every Day whenever i was free. on the bright side tho, a lot of them were Fantastic behind the scenes pics/videos and "watching" the production of this show from afar (through instagram, of all things) was a lot of fun in the midst of pandemic anxieties and boredom (go check my 'video' tag if you're ever in the mood for some on-set cast shenanigans!)

while i'm here tho, i've gotta say that while keeping up with the cast back then was fun the Vast majority of the time (if nothing else, it gave me something to do during the chaos of 2021/22), i had a sorta anxiety about it sometimes wrt the, idk, "sensitivity" of the content. it was very NDA This, NDA That. i figured, "well, if they already posted it in their stories, it's probably fine" until one of the cast members Literally made a whole tumblr account and very kindly asked if i could please remove a few of the pics i posted of him bc he technically wasn't allowed to post them in the first place, so having them Out There could get him in trouble! i was SOOOO embarrassed about it and i felt Awful about the possibility of him getting in trouble all thanks to some hyper-observant internet rando (thankfully, tumblr is famously lowkey. it'd be different if it was as popular as twitter lol). after that incident, i had this semi-anxiety about "should i post this pic or just That one? should i Not post this?? should i download/save them and post them after there's a big announcement of some kind??? where's the line?!! What Do Now???!!". it didn't help matters when, in the MotA behind the scenes facebook page, a bunch of really cool set pictures would sometimes get deleted within an hour bc Whoops! the poster actually wasn't allowed to share those (and, even if i'd already downloaded them before they got wiped, would i be able to post them, despite being under no such NDA myself? or would i get another mysterious DM?)

but that's all in the past, now! i'm pretty sure i've posted Every Single One of those behind the scenes pics/videos, provided i downloaded them in time. if not, sometimes the (finally active) MotA subreddit has my back lol.

further, looking for Any MotA content during from 2021 to 2023 came with acknowledging the eventual "droughts" (what i nicknamed them) where it'd be a good while before i saw anything new at all. bc of this, i have a legitimate soft spot for certain cast members who posted a lot of updates/pics/videos Wayyyy before we even got the first teaser (s/o to luke coughlan, louis greatorex, jordan coulson, josh bolt, and josiah cross for keeping hope alive)

3. what fandoms do you write for?

well right now the bsd brainrot has taken hold of me and i cannot think of much else. but i do have a handful of zine fics for other fandoms that are in progress / will be posted eventually. i have a very long list of fandoms i have written for in the past; however, i would not recommend reading anything posted before 2021

4. what are your top five fics by kudos?

i'm trying🫠 i let like 600+ pile up in my inbox over the course of a year and a half (or more) and so i recently went through and just marked everything as read instead of actually responding. BUT (almost) all comments on fics posted since ~august 2023 will get responses. exceptions are if i literally don't know what to say bc i'm bad at talking to people sorry

6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

you don't even want to know the horrors that showed up in my google docs this weekend. but also either if one of us dies or may we stay lost on our way home

7. what is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

i'll go with this ultraviolet morning light just bc it's probably the greatest payoff since it takes longest to get to the happy ending

8. do you get hate on fics?

not typically but there have been a few mean comments over the years. actually i got one bookmark on a fic that's in a series for a fanweek that says "ignore the others in this series but this one is good" and honest to god it just made me laugh. like.. you do realize i can see that, right?

9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?

i can barely write kiss scenes

10. do you write crossovers? what's the craziest one you've written?

i don't usually BUT when i was in middle school my friend and i created The Megacrossover, which consisted of us putting a bunch of different book characters into a hunger games arena. and we just kept adding more fandoms, and having new characters be transported into the arena. it was a good time. this was also entirely handwritten as all fanfiction should be when you're 10-12 years old

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

not to my knowledge. definitely found one fic that was like. heavily influenced by mine back in my ouat days though

12. what's the longest you've spent working on a fic? and the shortest?

longest: over a year, at least shortest: a couple hours (not including editing)

13. have you ever co-written a fic before?

not technically since the megacrossover but corey and i co-come up with ideas like. at least once a week

outlaw queen has to be my answer to this forever and always. never forgive never forget 🏹🍎

15. what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

too many to answer. probably the biggest one is the azula-centric sequel to tuvml that i simply do not have the attention to write bc the hyperfixations have travelled elsewhere :( there are many many others though. i have an endless amount of ideas and not enough time

16. what are your writing strengths?

people often tell me i'm good at characterization and tbh i do pride myself on knowing characters better than 97% of the rest of the fandom. not all of the characters. but most of them.

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

do whatever you want forever. but like.. respectfully

19. first fandom you wrote for?

probably percy jackson when i was like 10. no you cannot find that anywhere online because i, like an idiot, deleted it without saving a backup copy

20. favorite fic you've written?

definitely (i am) the whisper of a memory. i love a lot of my fics, but that is one i am especially proud of because i tried new things with the formatting and i think it worked really really well

I HAVE 920K WORDS ON AO3 AND ~50K INCOMING I DONT EVEN REMEMBER THEM ALL......... uuhhhhhhhh ok ok ill try to narrow a few down. it's all gonna be recent tho bc that's what i remember most + i have rly been indulging myself stylistically as of late lmao

for just ~pretty language~ my favorites rn are

there's too much i could say for dialogue but.... i'm super fond of the hurtful conversations present!vmin have in tlg (especially ch14, i reread that a lot), ignite the stars ch5 (also reread that a lot), and also i love pretty much everything that comes out of taehyung's mouth in folie à trois lol

(29) give us a spoiler for one of your stories. answered here, but since this one could be answered multiple times i'll bite......... my queue tag ("i'm glad it was queue") is a play on one of my favorite lines in all of tlg that i have been excited about getting to for yeaaaarrrssss. no one but me knows the line yet (or how hurtful its context is) bc it's in one of the final chapters hehehe but it's "i'm glad it was you" ..... :')

(48) do you reread your own stories? the answer to this used to be a strong NO!!!! but that has actually changed in the last two years! i don't rly reread anything older (my writing style has changed so much + there's things i'd change about older fics esp <2020 so it's not an enjoyable experience to me, i'd just fret over editing it) but there's some newer fics i reread bc they are So written to my own taste. i think i really improved a lot getting to write a bunch in lockdown lol + started caring less about whether ppl liked the fic and just wrote for ✨Me✨ so several of those recent fics i'm happy with and do reread sometimes like a stupid idiot narcissus

The ones i've reread the most are "sit, stay" + "sea legs" + favorite parts of "ignite the stars" and my favorite parts of "the losing game". the other scattered pwp's since 2020 have gotten reread about twice each. and i recently reread WBIO for the first time since writing it in early 2020!!! mixed feelings on that one bc i felt like i would change some parts of it if i wrote it today but that's a sign ur growing and improving i suppose

(55) do you have any abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them? oh i have so fucking many 'WIPs' it's not even funny. there's probably like ~12 completely bullet point outlined medium length / longfics in my docs down to exact dialogue i'd write, and dozens more fic attempts that have a whole plot and ending. bc as soon as i come up with an idea i already immediately know how i want it to end. which gives me way too many Plot Bunnies that are viable to be turned into fics!!!!! two years ago i made a list of every idea i thought should at least see the light of day in threadfic form if not an actual fic and it came out to 30 fics lol (and that was cutting it down to the essentials)

the thing is, very few of my WIPs are ever 'abandoned' in my mind, it's more like... i put them in my mental freezer. on hold / on ice. and some of them are closer to the front and get taken out and rotated around and worked on more often, while others are shoved to the far back of the freezer as i say "i'll make that someday" and forget it exists til the next time im reminded of it. there's only a few that i'd actually toss in the trash (aka truly abandon and never work on again).

the ones that are definitely abandoned in that i know i dont Want to write them are all on the more domestic romcom side (think like 'meaner than mean' or 'i like us like this') i know people like those but they're the hardest thing for me to write, those were the most annoyed i've ever felt while writing, i would literally groan out loud working on them, i am rly only happy writing conflict/angst or pwp lol

tbh, if i were to be realistic with myself, i'd say most of these wip's are 'abandoned' in that i probably will never get around to finishing them. but i dont want to call them abandoned because i do like the plots, and think ppl would like them, and want to share them!!! i just think they would suck / not be fun to write. Maybe Someday i will do an archival effort and work on translating as many of them as i can into threadfic form so they see the light of day in some format and are no longer abandoned to rot in my docs... bc there's no way that most of them are ever going to be written the way i wish i could do them justice :') and then i can abandon them knowing that ppl at least got to read a vague outline of what could have been

The Picture

Hey! So yeah. I finished it. It’s really silly and short and fun and I enjoyed writing it! I think originally this was going to be this long, drawn-out, angsty thing that ended with feelings and mushy sex, but I’m actually really happy with how it turned out to be, which is completely different. I don’t often get to do fun silly stuff. So enjoy!

(Also I could have sworn that this was based on an actual picture I’d seen somewhere but I can’t find it, but just know that something like the fic describes actually exists somewhere!)

         When Dex sees the picture pop up on his phone, the buzz of wanting to get laid flares up quick and hot. It’s a guy, the picture obviously taken in the mirror. It’s a side view of the man’s lower torso and upper thigh, but this man is so beautiful that this simple perspective turns Dex on more than any other dirty picture he’s ever seen.

        The man’s thighs are huge, stretched across most of the screen, with an intricate pattern of stretch marks, light against the dark skin, spanning like artwork from the top of his thigh downward. The picture was artfully taken in a way that the man’s crotch isn’t in the picture, but just the hint of dark, curly hair can be seen. This hair leads up to a toned stomach, abdominals starkly outlined and tempting and oh so lick-able. Dex is a little overwhelmed.

         Apparently, this guy had seen Dex’s own profile picture on this app and also found it attractive, because he sent Dex a message. It’s a simple Hey, but it alights desire in the bottom of Dex’s stomach. He hasn’t gotten laid since the very beginning of this year and, when he turned eighteen, he didn’t see anything wrong with making a “dating” profile to try and get some easy sex around campus. The app works by location, so everyone on it is mostly from Samwell, and the prospect of getting laid overruled any reservations he had about the app.

         Now, getting this message from such a tantalizing picture, Dex is extremely pleased with his decision to join this app.

        Hey, he sends back. He gets a reply immediately.

         You free now? the guy asks.

         Yeah. Dex doesn’t need to ask to know that this is only sex. It’s in his own profile that he’s only here for hookups and, judging by this guy’s picture, he’s here for the same.

         Wanna meet at Annie’s? Fifteen minutes?

         See you there.

         Dex pulls on his jacket, having already dressed himself in anticipation of this moment (he’s wearing his best boxers and the jeans that made Bitty wolf whistle when he saw them on Dex the last time they went shopping together), and rushes out the door. Annie’s is about twenty minutes out from his dorm, so he might be a little late, but he figures five minutes isn’t too much of a difference to risk his chances.

         He gets there in a cool eighteen minutes and walks up to the counter to attempt to act like he’s not just here to meet a potential hook-up. This particular barista knows his order by now, a simple black coffee because it’s cheap and he doesn’t mind the taste, so he gets his coffee and pays quickly before taking a seat at one of the tables. There aren’t many people here, as it’s around 9:30 at night and coffee isn’t exactly a nighttime drink, but there are a few students cramming or finishing up essays with their fourth cup of coffee sitting in front of them.

         However there is one person who isn’t furiously typing on a laptop or falling asleep on top of a textbook. In the far corner, next to the front window, sits someone who matches the picture perfectly. Gorgeous dark skin, brown curly hair, thick thighs. He’s beautiful, no doubt about it, sitting there with a book in his hand, illuminated by the moonlight. Dex would have almost no problem going up to this guy and introducing himself before going back to the guy’s place for a nice one-night stand. However, there is one problem.

         The guy is Nursey.

         Dex decides to take the easiest out from this situation, so he stands up, grabs his coffee, and walks out of Annie’s without looking back.

 *~*~*

           There’s no problem after that. Well, that’s a lie. There is one big problem after the whole almost-fucking incident; that damned picture.

         Nursey looks so good in that picture. With his thick thighs and teasing curly hair and toned abs. He’s a dream and Dex can’t stop obsessing over the fact that he was this close to fucking Nursey. He goes back on the app, ignoring Nursey’s questioning texts about what happened? and where are you?, and screenshots the profile picture. Just to satisfy his curiosity. Maybe it’s not Nursey; maybe Dex’s usually-dormant-imagination was just screwing with the situation.

         Then he looks at the picture and yeah, no, that is definitely Nursey. Dex has gotten enough glimpses of Nursey’s abs to know that it’s him in the picture. And now he has those thighs and that curly dark happy trail to add to the picture and shit, if this wasn’t a problem before the dating app, it definitely is now. Because Dex can’t look at Nursey without seeing the picture, can’t think of him without desire surging through his entire body.

         Dex tries to fix it, attempts to hook-up with somebody else, but it doesn’t work. All he can think is thick thighs, beautiful stretch marks, curly dark hair, abs pretty enough to lick vodka off of. He starts dreaming about them, waking up hard or, frustratingly, cold and sticky. It’s becoming a serious problem, distracting him on the ice, which is just not acceptable. Something needs to be done about the situation; Dex’s hockey scholarship and sanity depend on it.

         So Dex does the most rational thing he can think of; he talks to Nursey.

         It’s probably completely ridiculous, but it’s the only thing he can think of that doesn’t involve scheming or dramatics. Dex will simply approach Nursey with his problem and, together, they can figure out a suitable solution.

 *~*~*

           It doesn’t go exactly as planned.

         “That was you?” Nursey asks, incredulous, when Dex explains the situation. Dex flushes deeper than he previously was, embarrassed that Nursey can’t believe that he was actually attracted to Dex. Or, at least, that’s what Dex is interpreting from the reaction.

         “Uh, yeah.” Dex coughs, trying to expel the awkwardness from his throat. “So, like, I think we should have sex.”

         “What the fuck. Oh my god. Dude, give a guy a minute to process.” Nursey stares at the table between them, shaking his head intermittently as he apparently thinks through everything that happened. Dex allows him this, as he was pretty screwed up when he first figured it all out too. “O—okay,” Nursey finally says, after forever later, “I think I’ve figured everything out except.” He squints at Dex. “Why do you still want to have sex?”

         “That fucking picture,” Dex says, holding his hands out, clenched, to display his frustration. “It’s too fucking—it’s too hot, okay, I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s affecting my hockey.” Dex can feel his blush spreading across his face but he can’t give a fuck. This fucking picture is jeopardizing his scholarship. He needs to get it out of his system.

         “Okay, one? Real jarring that Dex the Straight™ is losing his shit about my nude. Two?”

         Dex interrupts to say, “Straight t-m? Really?” but Nursey continues without pause.

         “You think fucking will get you to stop thinking about it?” When Dex imagined this conversation, he predicted a healthy amount of embarrassment for himself and an unhealthily large amount of chirping from Nursey, but Nursey doesn’t seem to be making fun of him. If anything, he appears sincere.

         “Yes,” Dex says slowly. “I’ve thought about it logically. If we fuck, then the picture should lose it’s power or whatever.”

         Nursey looks back at him for a second before shrugging. “Sounds chill.”

         Dex is so ecstatic about getting past this picture thing that he doesn’t even roll his eyes at the “chill.”

           Dex huffs, smiling at the ceiling as his breathing evens out. He can’t say for sure, but he thinks that it must’ve worked. He definitely isn’t thinking about the picture anymore. No, now he’s thinking about the sounds Nursey lets out when Dex does something he likes, the way his muscles constrict before he comes, the feel of their bodies sliding together, their mouths catching, everything about sex with Nursey.

         Dex blinks.

         Oh fuck. This is so much worse.

         “Dex?” Nursey says, breathing similarly labored. “I don’t think it worked.”

         “No,” Dex says, dejected, “it didn’t.”

         “Well.” Nursey turns on his side, cupping his head with his hand and using his elbow to hold himself up. The blanket falls until it’s just barely covering his crotch, the beginning of his happy trail enticing Dex to follow. Nursey grins at him. “I guess we’ll just have to keep having sex until it works.”

         Dex sighs heavily, put-upon. “I guess we will,” he says, faux-annoyed, as he pushes Nursey back onto his back and looms over him.

         “I’ll be a lot of work,” Nursey says, nodding seriously. His hands come up to clutch at Dex’s shoulders, where little raised red lines are already present. He digs in lightly and Dex sighs.

         “I’m willing to put the time in,” Dex says, settling into Nursey’s lap. “I have a great work ethic,” he says, and kisses Nursey as he laughs.

i LOVED hearing your thoughts about togiri!! i love all the thought you put into thinking about how they would interact after the 5th trial bc, while it makes sense for the pov to be from makoto's, its a shame we missed out on byakuya and kyokos potential interactions. if i may add i think a nice detail would be for kyoko to take off her glove and extend a hand to byakuya, silently asking for his trust while exposing herself. byakuya obviously recognizes this as big feat and is the main reason why he comes around to her. i also think it would be cool if they had a more explcit rivalry/competitiveness with each other. theyre so similar to a point where they even have the same flaws, and i can imagine it would be pretty annoying to see how ugly your flaws really are when you see them on someone else. sorry if this was a lot but i just love what you wrote ! :3

oh my god imagine if we actually got a temporary pov switch to kyoko like the temporary nagito pov in dr2 PLEASE that’d be so cool

i was also thinking it’d be funny if the way kyoko approaches byakuya post-trial is she just busts into his room using the master key because i don’t remember if he ever learned that her having that key was the lie makoto ignored, but that would be a funny way for him to find out, like HOW did you get in here ma’am 

YES I WANT SO MUCH MORE OF THEM AS RIVALS getting in each others way because they think of things at the same time, when they’re talking to makoto he’s like ‘haha byakuya said exactly the same thing’ and kyoko’s like what the hell. get him out of my brain. and vice versa like remember when byakuya was like ‘a dead body is just an object’ and kyoko’s like ‘he’s out of line but he’s right’ i bet she’s just like a little grossed out that she doesn’t feel much different than him. he’s just louder about it. 

i feel like all we really got of them as ‘rivals’ was byakuya making weird demands and kyoko very mysteriously accepting them. like him taking her key. from a personal pride standpoint that is a wild thing to agree to. or in chapter 4 when he straight up was like ‘youre annoying. you guard the body.’ LIKE GIRL WHY ARE YOU NOT THROWING HANDS. i bet even byakuya is unsettled by her total non-reaction to everything he says to her.

like byakuya wants them to be cool rivals so bad but kyoko is far too calm and collected and he is an angry little man. any time he thinks he’s won an interaction with her, like when he calls her out in front of everyone and demands she explain herself or hand over her room key, she pulls some weird shit and is not even the slightest bit ruffled.

can i say all of them? 😭 i'm a shameless attention whore at this point. but no i'd probably say my most recent one, camp triple pine. it's gotten loads of attention and i'm super grateful (not to sound spoiled because i've gotten some amazing gifts but i'd love fanart, if that counts as a response...this isn't a guilt tactic though, because once when i was in the s*nders s*des fandom on wattpad i said i wanted fanart lowkey and someone called me manipulative and blocked me :') but that's a whole other thing entirely. i used to get so much attention for my tss fics back in the day i didn't want to leave...now i'm rambling--)

3.) What’s a fic idea that you have but haven’t written yet?

oh there's so many !! i'm gonna do a writer's update post once i finish ctp but i have a lot of ideas. one’s 10k for byler, one’s a one shot for caswen, i have a few gifts for friends i wanna catch up on, etc...

to give an idea i’ve mentioned here and there, my next long-term lawrusso fic i wanna do is a 90s lawrusso merman au. johnny’s staying with bobby at the brown family beach house and he meets daniel, a merman who he helps sort-of turn human after he “saves” daniel from drowning. he then shows daniel about what it’s like being human, daniel tries ice cream, explores the santa monica pier, tries human mating several times, and i plan for it to be super cute and fun ! plus it’s got the jessica/bobby/ali thruple together at the start bc i will force it into every lawrusso fic until people like it :-)

12.) Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

i definitely read all the comments i get many times :’) but i do try to respond to a lot of comments, but sometimes i get busy, and honestly the comments leave me so flustered because i feel undeserving of them, that by the time i get to them i feel like it’s been a while and it’s weird. who and what i respond to is pretty random, though i do respond to more in-depth comments, and not to just one sentence comments (but i appreciate all comments, you don’t have to write a novel but just knowing you were there is really cool !)

14.) Have you ever co-written a fic?

haha, uh...no. i’ve made plans with friends and authors i admire, but i mostly work alone. the closest i ever got was working with the most popular author in the s*nders s*des fandom on a welcome to night vale au (guess what year that was lol). we had a google doc and everything but scheduling and everything didn’t work out. i have bounced around ideas though without actually writing them into fic so if anyone wants to do that i’m happy to help !

16.) How long is your longest fic?

according to ao3, 97,252 words ! damn, i should have gotten to 100k, but i tell people 100k usually. it’s a s*nders s*des (i censor for tags not bc i hate the fandom or anything, i’m just not in it anymore...it’s embarrassing how most of my fics are for this fandom but i pretty much wrote exclusively for it for 5 years--) anyways it’s a s*nders s*des selection (bachelor) au where i condensed three books into one longfic. i believe it’s also one of my most popular books on my wattpad besides my one shots book for the same fandom. it’s got a playlist and fanart and everything...i wrote it during the driver’s ed period of sophomore year bc they never let me drive lol...good times...

18.) Recommend someone else fic! (And tag them if they have a tumblr!)

i rarely read fic, but take my most recent read, Everything Beautiful’s Fiction by narcissablaxk (i don’t know their tumblr but they’ve written a lot of fics so i’m sure someone around here does). i had a craving for ruben/chris (bc it’s adjacent to 90s lawrusso) and this filled just that ! it was hurt/comfort-y and overall a pretty good read !

Ofcc so most of the wips that say for you in the doc title are from the fic raffle we did about a year(ish?) ago! I started so many different ideas for it and then only managed to fully finish one of them kfkskdks

8. Lukebobby sickfic

This was my first idea for you for the raffle! (Duh, obvious choice). And I got it to a little less than 500 words before giving up on it. It's just a typical sickfic but Bobby is the one whose sick and Luke tries his best to take care of him but isn't the best at it. Snippet-

Luke looks at him for a second, rubs the sleep out of his eyes, and looks back before saying, "You okay?"

Bobby scoffs under his breath, but can't keep the small smile off of his face as he turns around on the floor and leans back against the toilet after flushing it. "Oh yeah, I'm fine. I just thought chilling on the bathroom floor an hour before school would be a good idea."

9. Nickjulie friendship thing for lilly

This was my second idea for the raffle, and having reread what I have of it bc of this ask/tag game, I think I might have to finish it bc it's so cute 😭 all it is is Julie reaching Nick to play piano to give him a distraction/coping mechanism post-possesion but it is everything to me

Snippet-

"Nick?" he hears a voice call out into the nothingness, and he turns quickly only to see Julie staring at him curiously from the doorway, her hand hovering over the light switch. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, uh…" he trails off, scratching at the back of his head. He's embarrassed, even though he knows he didn't do anything wrong. "I'm just… hanging out?"

"In the dark?" she asks with a laugh, finally flicking the light on and slowly walking towards where he's still sitting. There's a small nervous smile on her face, almost like she's scared anything she's going to do will just shatter him. He hasn't seen any other look in a week.

"Yeah," he sighs, looking down at the piano as she goes to sit next to him. He watches from the corner of his eye as her hands creep towards the keys. It almost looks as if she's failing at holding herself back from playing, like the music is calling to her, begging to be played.

Nick closes his eyes, and waits.

11. Rukebox thing for lilly

I'm going to be fully honest, I have no idea what this is. It could've been for the fic raffle since it was made around the same time but I genuinely have no clue. All it has in the doc is two paragraphs with nothing explaining what the fic was supposed to be. Here's the two paragraphs though-

Luke doesn't really know what he's doing.

And honestly? He's kind of used to it at this point, because he never actually knows. But in this situation, it's really frustrating, because Julie is sat in front of him, sobbing her heart out, and he's frozen.

19. Willexie sickfic

This is the only one of these that I'm one hundred percent sure wasn't for the raffle, but I definitely made with you in mind! (Of course, because it's a sickfic) it's Reggie getting sick and Willie and Alex taking care of him! (They need each other to do it because Alex doesn't know anything about ghost sickness and Willie doesn't have any experience handling Reggie when he's sick)

Snippet-

When Reggie had clambered into the studio one day, claimed that he felt as if he was starting to come down with something, and then collapsed onto the couch, Alex hadn't really believed him.

Which, if he's being honest with himself, sounds pretty terrible. But, in his defense, they are ghosts, and he really thought that ghosts couldn't get sick!
