Tumblr media
so i mentioned before that tengen gives me the vibe of someone who thinks they’re the best and worst at the same time, depending on when you catch them, and here’s why!! uhh warning: this one’s a doozy of a headcanon, meaning it’s long as hell :’ )
personal blogs, do not interact!
first of all, thank you ufotable for giving us extra scenes that let us see more of tengen and his wives bc that contributed to this headcanon <3 deviations that anime tend to take aren’t always for the better, but in this case, i’m really happy with the changes they made bc i feel like we can get a better look at tengen’s mindset/motivations. but let me not get ahead of myself here!!
i know that tengen’s intro is him proclaiming himself a god, and generally he gives off the impression that he thinks highly of himself. when gyutaro asks, “ you’re their savior, aren’t you? ...their affection and gratitude toward you know no bounds, huh? ” he even eggs the upper moon on by saying, “ i’m a flashy, glamorous ladies’ man, so that’s a no-brainer. and i even have three wives no less. ” he is trying to provoke gyutaro, but tengen is well aware that he’s someone who naturally gains admiration and envy bc he’s tall, handsome, strong, and yeah -- he’s got three wives!
so i don’t think tengen generally struggles with confidence or self esteem, but he does struggle with guilt. during that fight with gyutaro when he’s saying that tengen must’ve been special the day he was born, a chosen talent, tengen all but laughs in his face and denies that he has any talent -- it’s a load of crap when just how many lives have slipped through his fingers?? too many. he isn’t like kyojuro who protected an entire train of people and didn’t allow a single person to die, even if it was at the cost of his own life.
and the thing is, tengen is crazy strong and obviously does have talent since he has incredibly good hearing, but based on his background and opinion, he likely didn’t have a natural talent with combat. the training his father put him through molded him into the warrior he is, made him capable of becoming a pillar. he wasn’t like muichiro or even kyojuro who taught himself flame breathing. tengen wasn’t born extraordinary. he was made extraordinary through blood and sweat and tears and loss.
but his lack of natural talent is nothing to be ashamed of! it’s the fact that he’s let so many people die and likely killed people as well. it’s the fact that his wives nearly died because of him. it’s the fact that his siblings are dead while he’s still alive.
in the anime, we get an extra scene between tengen and his wives in which they go to the uzui family grave to visit his brothers. there’s a moment where tengen slips and says, “ i’m going to hell,” and then proceeds to brush it off lightheartedly bc he doesn’t want another “ tongue-lashing ” from his wives. but he then thinks to himself, “ i’m going to live the flashiest life possible for my siblings’ sake. ”
first!!! the fact that he specifically says he doesn’t need another tongue-lashing from his wives implies he’s said this kind of thing before, and i love that little detail bc that means hina, suma, and makio are all three aware of tengen’s struggle and wholeheartedly believe he shouldn’t feel guilty. and the fact that they think he shouldn’t feel guilty plus the fact that he wants to live a “ flashy ” life for his siblings’ sake means that he 100% feels responsible for his siblings’ deaths. in the second official fanbook, we find out that tengen’s father tricked him and his siblings into fighting each other to the death by masking them, and as a result, tengen killed two of his brothers. it’s no wonder that he believes he’s going to hell despite having been tricked.
i do wonder if it also has to do with his own feelings towards the shinobi way of life. they were expected to risk their lives for the mission, but that isn’t what tengen wanted from the start, i’m sure. how could he when he lost some of his siblings before they were even ten years old? or when he saw how his father treated his family? how could he when he married hina, makio, and suma, and suddenly had people who he felt responsible for, who he wanted to protect? he didn’t want to die for something like duty to a lifestyle he hated -- he wanted to live. he wanted to live beside his family, beside his wives, and he wanted them to live, too. and i wonder if that didn’t lead to deaths he could’ve prevented. you hesitate when you’re afraid of dying, after all.
plus!! tengen says, “ those who have baggage like conflict or quandaries are spineless fools. that’s always been the story of my life, ” so his desire to survive has been a struggle for him even while he was a shinobi. but then oyakata-sama tells him thank you for fighting despite those conflicts and quandaries and validates that desire. it isn’t something to be ashamed of, and he doesn’t have to fight with the intention of laying down his life if need be. i’m sure he thought oyakata-sama would expect that of him, which is why he looks absolutely surprised by his response.
HOWEVER, that doesn’t negate the guilt tengen feels for the people he’s lost as a result of his “ quandaries. ” he’s grown, and now he doesn’t hesitate bc he fights with the intention of winning so long as it isn’t at the expense of his or his wives’ lives. he’s got better judgement bc he has clear intentions without the weight of another’s expectations on him. but he’ll never forget his siblings and the others he’s lost because he wasn’t willing to die for them.

Plantonic!BAU team x french!reader
Description: reader is from France and lived there until he was 11/12 and then moved to america and his first language is french. He also has a little bit of an accent. Basically reader is new to the team and it is their first late night back home on the jet with him. And basically they learn that when hes tired he reverts back to his mother tongue.
CW: possible swearing, I can't think of anything else
A/N: I'm thinking of making a series about this, like just funny scenarios related to the reader being French, if y'all have any ideas let me know! Also reader is gonna be loosely based off me when im rly tired cus i get kinda giggly/floppy/goofy. ( also sry it's short)
French, translation
3rd person POV:
after a hard, and long case the team was very ready to go home. They had found a 9 yr old girl and rescued her from a man holding her in his basement to torture her. And even though it took the profilers almost 3 full days with almost no sleep to find her. To say they were tired was understatement. It was almost 2 am when they trudged onto the plane, all tired physically and emotionally. Y/N was the last on the plane and decided to take the couch to get some sleep. Just as he was sitting down Reid plopped down next to him. (Y/N and Reid liked to sit next to each other so they could read together)
“Désolé reid, je veux lire avec toi, mais je suis trop fatigué pour ça” (sorry reid, i wanna read with you but im too tired for that) you said to him, slightly slurring your words. “Huh?” Spencer looked up at you with a small crease between his eyebrows. The switch in language caught the rest the rest of the team off guard as well (evidently by the looks on their faces) you peered at them just as perplexed and asked “Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas?” (Whats wrong?).
“Dont worry guys I’ll talk to him” said spencer with a little giggle at his new friends antics. Morgan gave spencer a little knowing look and eyebrow wiggle at his conversation with Y/N, despite having no idea what they were saying. “Mon biche, tu parle français maintenant, pas anglais.” (Darling, you’re speaking french right now, not english) says spencers with a small smile. a look of understanding dawned your features and you said “je suis?! Oh c'est pas grave, Oh, tu n'as besoin que de me comprendre de toute façon.” (I am?! Thats okay, you’re the only one who needs to understand me anyways) you say with a wink ad a giggle. Spencers cheeks went red and emily gave him a questioning look. “Y/N, tu fais quoi?” (y/n, what are you doing?). you just gave him a mischievous look before putting your head on his shoulder and snuggling into him to fall asleep. The rest of the team got bored of making fun of the pair and began their own conversations or trying to sleep. But after a minute or two the team heard and hushed but strict “shhhhh!” coming from their resident genius. “You guys are so loud! hes asleep!” said spencer’s while he gestured vicariously to the sleeping figure drooped over his left side. “hush up pretty boy, your little boyfriend over theres out cold dont worry about it.” said derek with a teasing smile. spencers cheeks turned even more red than before if hat was even possible and started stuttering about the sleep man not being his boyfriend. “okay, okay, hes not your boyfriend,” said derek with his hands up in surrender after spencer kept spluttering on about y/n not being his boyfriend.
(small time skip)
As the plane landed people began packing up their things and getting ready to get off the plane. But y/n and Spencer had moved and when the team looked over they found the two agents passed out on top of each other and snoring lightly.
THE END

Asuka Langley Soryu (Neon Genesis Evangelion) vs. Chloe Bourgeois (Miraculous Ladybug)
Y'all Hate Kids: Screwed By The Writers
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda below the cut (spoilers)
-
Asuka Langley Soryu (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Fandom historically has treated her like she’s an irredeemable abusive piece of shit, despite the fact that she’s a 14-year-old girl in a terrible situation. She’s also not treated the most charitably by the writers.
Chloe Bourgeois (Miraculous Ladybug)
cw: Abuse, neglect, spoilers
haven't been in the fandom in a while so my memory is a bit fuzzy but the writers hate her sooooo bad it's not even funny. she started having a redemption arc where she realized the error of her ways and started working on herself as a person bc she wanted to be a hero and then did a 180° by siding with the villain. writer called her irredeemable multiple times on twitter despite the fact that she's just a spoiled bratty teenager who was also emotionally abused by her mother. her dad gets victimized despite the fact that he was complacent in the abuse and never tried to help her be a better person. overrall what the hell were you guys THINKING!!!
-
SHE HAD SO MUCH GOING FOR HER.... The writers tried giving her a redemption arc but then the creator of the show said that she, a TEENAGE GIRL, was incapable of change and redemption so all of that development was thrown in the trash and she became a shallow character again. Meanwhile, the creator gives a mini redemption arc to the MAIN VILLAIN, who literally ABUSED AND NEGLECTED HIS SON. She deserved so much better man
-
Typical Mean Girl character with an aborted redemption arc. Chloe has bullied the main protagonist Marinette Dupian-Cheng for a very long time. However, in Season 2 there was a beginning of a redemption arc that was wholly abandoned because the new showrunner deemed that a mean girl (who had an absentee/abusive mother and a limp noodle of a father) is evil incarnate and therefore can not be redeemed in good faith. The one good influence on Chloe's life abandoned her at the time of need and the fandom belittles and blames her for reverting back to her abusive ways when really she was left behind by the narrative. Even her own half-sister never gave her the time of day.
OH MY GOD. DUDE.Ok so she was a main (ish) villain within the first 1-3 seasons, but over time she was slowly getting a redemption arc, and we were getting more info about her past, and it turns out she was pretty heavily neglected as a kid (WHICH EXPLAINS WHY SHE WOULD ACT LIKE A BAD PERSON). And then, Thomas "dipshit" Astruc decided to THROW AWAY HER ENTIRE REDEMPTION ARC, AND WRITE HER OUT OF THE FUCKING SHOW!!!! AND THEY *REPLACED HER* WITH AN RANDOM NEW CHARACTER, EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS LITERALLY ONE OF THE MAIN HEROES???? And when confronted about why the fuck he would write that, Thomas said that she COULDN'T BE REDEEMED. Mind you, this is a TEENAGER, and a abused one at that! I'm sorry if this sounds like like a 2010's YouTube cartoon reviewer ass rant but oh my lord ,,,Chloe I could've saved you
-
i havent watched nor caught up in a while, but from what i remember: she started out as a typical 1-dimensional mean girl, but then they gave her a surprising amount of depth?? like she got to be queen bee, learn responsibility as a superhero, she even is one of only a couple characters we know of to actually fight off hawkmoth's power. they were going to really interesting places with her character, and we were all excited for her redemption arc.
...and then they made her a flat villain again, taking away all of her complexity and development, and instead gave the powers and depth to a new sister of hers that suddenly arrived out of nowhere instead. what

Onyakapon x black! reader
A/N | Hey y'all, I'm sorry that I havent posted in so long so I hope this can make up for it. I love y'all and I hope you enjoy
Tumblr media
If you asked about the of childhood Onyankopon had, he would say, “It was normal, nothin’ really special bout’ it.” And in his eyes, he was telling the truth. But from yours? You knew from deep in your soul that it was anything but normal.
He never got to be a kid who could come home and feel safe. He was the kid who out past when the street lights came out, for he knew that if he came home too soon, he would have to face the consequences.
He was the kid who got pulled from class to talk about his home life. He was the kid who could be the sweetest thing until you brought up his cuts and bruises. He was the kid who wasn’t taught how to handle his emotions correctly; instead only learning from his surroundings on how to feel nothing but anger. He was the kid who would throw chairs and push kids off swings at recess. He was the kid who didn’t get a savior when he needed it. He was the kid who needed to be taught how to live the way any functional person would.
He was a kid that needed to be loved.
So when he grew from a kid to the young man he is now, he struggles. He doesn’t know how to process his emotions the way an adult should. He doesn’t know how to do anything besides concave on himself or push his emotions until they boil to the surface.  He doesn’t know how to just let someone love him the way he deserves to be loved.
But when the two of you met, you saw through it all. You saw that beneath all the cold stares, anger, and rough exterior, he was a just little boy who needed to be loved and taken care of; who needed the love and affection he didn’t get in his biggest time of need. And so you give it to him. All the kisses, hugs, and assuring words he so needs. You give all of it to him. But sometimes he can’t see how deeply the things that have been done to him affect him so deeply, and those are the times that he reverts back to his old ways.
“Y/n, I said it’s fine. Now chill the fuck out, you really startin’ to piss me off.”
You freeze, staring at him at shock. You know that he tended to divert the conversation when he felt as though the confrontation was building too high. But to straight up shut it down? You didn’t have the patience to deal with that bullshit.
“What is your problem? Why do you always shut the conversation down when you don’t want to talk anymore? Why do you feel so entitled to do that? You're not the only one who’s feelin’ some typa way.” You frown. You’re not one for any type of confrontation, shying away from it if possible, but the way your boyfriend has been acting really sets you off. And the thing that bothers you the most is that he wont talk to you about it.
“Didn’t I tell you to leave me alone? This conversation is done because I said it’s done. That’s it.” He says, glaring at you like you're a stranger.
“Why do you always do this? Why won’t you fucking talk to me? I am here, ony. I am here for you everything; why can’t you see that? That is what I’m here for, so I really can’t understand why as soon as you have a fucking problem you act like I’ll leave you if you come to me about it!”
He just stares, not knowing what to say. If he’s being honest, he knows that you’re there for him. You’ve shown him again and again that you love him with all your heart, shown him that you’re not going to leave.
But he’s scared.
He’s scared that if he tells you, you’ll leave him for being vulnerable, for being weak. He’s scared that if he shows you all of him, you won’t like it. He’s scared that if he gives you his heart, all of it; that you’ll throw it away.
So he just stares at you, he stares as his eyes start to well up with hot tears, as his throat closes and and his shoulders start to tense. He stares until you notice him crying, rushing to his side as a choked, painful sobs racks through his body.
You hold him as he cries into your arms, accepting your warm embrace. You rub his back as you sniffles and hiccups as you rock the both of you. You don’t even notice when you start crying, wiping the tears away as you focus on comforting the man in your arms. You tell him that it’s going to be okay, to let it all out. You clean his face with nothing but your sleeve as you whisper sweet nothings into his ears to soothe him of his pain. On the inside, you thank your past self for following onyokapon into the room. Scooching back an inch or two, you bring the thick comforter on the two of you as you fully lay down with him on the bed.
The two of you stay like this until its silent, simply opting to bask in each other's presence. Your eyes dart to him as he speaks with a murky, rough tone. “M’ sorry for always doin’ dumb shit. I don’t know why I’m like this.” He apologizes, snuggling further into your frame. “I don’t know how to talk sometimes, I get so fuckin’ angry and I shut everything down so that I don’t say anything I’ll regret later and I’m just sorry for puttin’ you through all my shit.”
You sigh, looking down at him. “I love you, onyankopon. I want to go through all your shit with you. I want to help you, I promise you that.” You say, hugging him closer to you. “Ion’ know why, m’ really fucked up.” He snorts, playing with the hairs on the back of your neck. “Nigga did you not hear what the hell I just said?” You laugh, gently stroking his cheek.
He looks at you gently, gazing upon all your features. From the beauty mark above your left eyebrow to the way your eyes glow a gentle brown when the moonlight shines on them. “I love you, y/n. Like without all that sappy shit, I wanna be with you forever.” He says, tired eyes looking up at you. “Why can’t we have all the sappy shit? I love me some sappy shit!” You joke, sending him a faux offending look.
He huffs, shaking his head. You don’t even realize it, but you help that little boy in him feel everything he was supposed to feel when he needed it the most . You help the little boy into him feel safe, happy, and protected.
You help that little boy in him feel loved.

maeumi & me - ch 29 : outrageous conclusions
a/n : the wait is finally over y'all!! i'm so sorry ik it's been almost a year since i updated this sgtsbdkdks. make sure to go read the previous chapter(s) as a recap since it's been so long :3

Tumblr media
Jungwon hadn’t been home when you had gone over in the morning to see Maeumi. You were a little disappointed, because you’d been looking forward to your usual weekend routine – taking Maeumi to the dog park together and watching him play while you both sat and talked at one of the benches. But more than the disappointment, worry had started to eat its way up your stomach – was he okay? Why had he left so abruptly the other day? Why hadn’t he contacted you since? And then you saw Jay’s tweets, and you were both relieved and concerned. Relieved that whatever it was, he wasn’t as bad off as your wild imaginations had proclaimed, and concerned because he did still seem upset nevertheless.
Now you stand in front of his door, uncertain.
What exactly are you gonna say or do when you don’t even know what the problem is? You kind of just showed up here without much of a plan. Sure you could ask him, but you don’t wanna push if he’d rather not talk about it. And how will you even know if he just wants to be left alone? He’d probably be too polite to say so. Ah, whatever. You’re here already, you might as well try. You take a deep breath and ring the doorbell.
Jungwon’s eyes widen in surprise for just a second before quickly reverting to implacable indifference. “Did you leave something?” he asks in a stiff voice, looking back into the house as if to check, but not really checking. Huh. Very subtle why are you here. You’re not used to him being like this.
“Umm no, I came to see how you were doing?” you reply, slightly offended.
He looks past you at the lamppost outside. “I'm fine.”
“O. . . kay.” You stand there awkwardly, not really sure you should do this anymore. You study his face as he keeps his eyes fixedly on the spot behind you to avoid meeting yours. Maeumi comes out to greet you then and you scoop him up, eager to dispel the awkwardness. At least someone's happy to see me, you think. Then you remind yourself why you're here. Maybe he's just feeling grumpy because he's in a bad mood; you probably shouldn't take it personally.
You let Maeumi down after giving him a few scratches and clear your throat. “You don’t seem fine, Won,” you start again, reaching out and taking his hand. “I mean you left kind of abruptly the other day and you haven't responded to any of my calls or texts . . . Whatever it is, you know you can talk to me right?”
He clenches his jaw. God, you’re making this so much harder for him. It feels so painfully good to have his hand in yours. He wants to lace his fingers with yours but instead he pulls away – you can't keep doing this. “You don't have to do this anymore.”
“Do what?” you demand, trying not to think about how it stung to have him snatch his hand away from yours.
He finally looks you in the eye, a mix of resignation and determination in them. He knows that if he wants to get this over with as soon as possible he has to be firm and harsh, like ripping off a bandaid. There's no other way. He can't let this continue. He has to set clear boundaries. “Look, I don't know if you're doing it on purpose or if I have just horribly misunderstood everything and deluded myself into some fantasyworld and if it's the latter I apologise for all that I've said and done when I was under the impression that you liked me too. But if you did do it all on purpose out of some twisted sense of gratitude because you feel like you owe me or some shit or for fear that I wouldn't take as good care of Maeumi as I have been until now if you didn't reciprocate my feelings then rest assured that I am not that kind of a person. I will continue to take good care of him for your three years of university like I promised so please, you can stop pretending you like me.”
What . . . the actual fuck? You're so confused at first that it takes a few seconds for you to process what he just said. Your anger steadily rises as the words sink in. What exactly is he insinuating?
“Excuse me?” You glare at him, waiting for him to retract, say he was mistaken, anything, because you still can't quite wrap your head around all that you've just heard but he just returns your stare, unflinching. “Did you hit your head somewhere? Who fed you all this bullshit?”
“Bullshit? Fine, if that's what we're gonna call it. But you said it yourself so I don’t know what else to think,” he snaps, his icy stare still not leaving yours.
What the hell is he talking about? “Said what myself?”
“It doesn't matter.”
“Well I beg to dif–”
“I heard what you said to Heeseung the other day. That you don't like me. That you just feel bad because I’m sweet to you and take good care of Maeumi. That ring a bell?”
You go red in the face, partly from embarrassment - he heard that? - but mostly from rage. You most definitely did not say you felt bad for him although yes, you had said you didn't like him. But was it not obvious that you didn't mean it? Did the past few months mean nothing to him? You had almost kissed the night before for God's sake! And yet his immediate conclusion upon hearing it was what, that you had just faked it all for your own selfish gain? Shouldn't he have talked to you first before jumping to such outrageous conclusions?
You clench your teeth. “I lied to Heeseung.”
He blinks, his face going blank like he hadn't considered that. “What?” The determined look from earlier falters, replaced by a flicker of doubt.
“I said I lied,” you snap.
“And you expect me to believe that?”
“You know what Jungwon, I don't care what you choose to believe. Clearly coming here was a big mistake. But for what it's worth – not that it's any of your business listening in on us like that – yes I did lie then because maybe I just wasn't ready to admit the truth to him or to myself, you ever think about that? Maybe feelings are complicated, and maybe I was overwhelmed because I haven't ever felt so much for someone before, and maybe I needed some time to sit with it before going around proclaiming it to everyone. Of course, he ended up seeing right through me anyway but you know what? Now I'm not so sure it was a lie anymore. I can't believe that's what you thought of me after everything. I came here thinking that maybe you needed some help cheering up after seeing Jay's tweets but this has been very enlightening. Thank you, Yang Jungwon for this eye-opener.” With that, you whip around to leave. You're not quite sure what you're going to do about the Maeumi situation just yet but you'll figure that out later.
Jungwon stays frozen in his doorway for a few seconds watching your retreating back as the gears in his head turn. Well fuck this is BAD. Why did the possibility that you could have lied never cross his mind? I mean, all the signs did say you liked him too up until that point. God, you must think he's such an asshole and he can't even blame you.
“Y/n, wait!” He shuts the door behind him and runs after you.
You trudge on ahead without responding, still fuming.
“Y/n, please just hear me out!” Jungwon picks up his pace to catch up with you. He doesn't know what the hell he's going to say or how exactly he's going to fix this. All he knows is that he can't let you go like this.

lol i just got a message that juvia is a well written character. Arguments from the category "oh, well, she stopped chasing Gray at the end of the manga and stopped counting on reciprocity. Now Gray is chasing after her!" However, no clear evidence was provided for this. How do you think she has "grown" even one iota as a character? sorry for my english , ehe
juvia Has Had Zero Character Growth
I'm so sorry that I've taken so long to get to your ask @sursirini! I have more asks than I can count rn and so much college work to do @_@. But I have finally returned!
Oh boy, I do not know how people think that juvia has had any character growth whatsoever. Of course that person who dmed you didn't provide any proof because they have none, and yet they keep arguing in a futile manner. I'm sorry you had to deal with that; I hope they left you alone. Also, your English is very good! I would've thought you were a native speaker! ;)
Onto your very good question, I do not think she has grown one iota as a character at all.
I actually go into 2 instances in this post of mine, and I can quickly summarize it here, but that post is much more in depth so I highly recommend reading that one as well (though actually I noticed you reblogged it so you've probably already read it! Thank you for that!)
The two instances I talked about in the aforementioned post was when juvia sacrificed herself for Gray and when she "apologized" for "killing" Silver. For the first point, I said in my post that she lacks self so therefore her sacrifice doesn't mean anything as she would die if Gray died since her entire being is based off of him. It is only selfless in the way that she is devoid of a self in the first place, and this action is just as selfish since she wouldn't have a reason to live if Gray was gone.
As for her apology, I continued on in my post to say that she never apologized and only had a personal pity party to make Gray feel bad. she's not sad for Gray at all that he had to lose his father twice, she's just sad because she thinks she lost her "right" to love him.
I can go into a couple other instances as well.
juvia sacrificing her body for Cana in their fight against Freid scene? Look no further than this post of mine where I go in depth as to how it doesn't prove any real character development not to mention goodness. Short answer is after this one instance, she goes back to being a butt to every woman again as well as making it clear that she doesn't really love FT, and "reverting back to your sickly ways" is the definition of not growing.
juvia making nice with Lucy in the Tower of Heaven? Guess what? Same thing because she goes right back to calling Lucy a blond bimbo as soon as their lives aren't in danger. I've said it before and I'll say it again, but if you only really apologize and act like you care for someone when your life is in danger but are a jerk every other time, you don't really care for them, you just don't want to feel guilty and have regrets.
All this doesn't even mention how juvia continues to stalk and harass Gray even to the end of FT and into 100yq. Literally nothing about her behavior changes; only Gray's behavior does as he is thoroughly brainwashed by this wicked woman.
Honestly at this moment, I can't even think about other examples Pros might come up with because there are so few instances of things that could be misconstrued as being character growth. If y'all think of any, let me know and I'll give you my thoughts!
Also, @absolutezerotolerance had a wonderful post that drew a really helpful comparison linked here. Most of that post was debunking a dumb gr///via post, but the thing that stood out most to me was comparing juvia at the beginning of the manga and then at the end. she really hadn't changed at all, from doom and gloom because no one loved her, to doom and gloom because no one, least of all Gray, loved her. Absolutely nothing had changed except for the fact that she only wanted Gray's affections instead of affection in general, and through that, she became a dependent, parasitic, satellite character who lacks agency.
Anyway, thank you again for your patience, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Have a wonderful day!

those stories are LAME. as fuck. not only does it show your lack of creativity and originality (because very often the people who write it write it exclusively) but it shows you're a cheap writer who doesn't care about the source material. yeah i get it, headcanons and all, but you know the thing about headcanons? they're supposed to be adjacent to canon but created in your head. y'all im sorry but eren's a damn loser. he ain't gang banging nobody 💀 there is a point where a headcanon turns into just plain old out-of-character shit, and that is what makes ts so hard to enjoy. that's not the character you were intending to write and have people read about. that's an oc.
and this is a point others have made but i'll reiterate it for fun: it's not just the activities within the fic either. it's how you present the character themselves. the way they speak, the way they look, the way they act. y'all be serious. kirishima isn't being a cool little guy trying to become a great hero and turning around saying "aw whats the matter ma cheer up". the only nigga in mha i'd believe might actually speak like that is sero. remember him?
anyway, the fics where the characters are actually themselves are better in possibly every way. they're cuter, more versatile, more enjoyable to read in general because we can actually see ourselves interacting with the character and not italian mafia boss #2. who wouldn't enjoy watching izuku stumble because he's captivated by you in the sun and he reverts back to his stuttering ways of season one.
write something positive about black people, especially black women, for once. i implore you.
and yes i'm a minor, but i will still read you and push you around like i'm ya mama.
Heavy on that last part‼️ there’s no reason for ppl to portray black ppl in stereotypical ways esp when it’s unnecessary, and ESP if you are also a black person. And if you do, you just need to be aware at the very least🤷🏾‍♀️ Dashi don’t do nun but spit facts tbh🗣️‼️

Now I became selfish and I hope the shard is showing Hanji being saved by Kiyomi or something. She go the worst treatment and if Isayama was afraid of the backslash like you said why make it even worse with those parallels with eremika? Is he preparing the Fandom for another levihan moment? I'm tired of EVERYONE surviving but her, Kiyomi's kindness really??? And Onyankopon, while I don't hate him, he survived a plane crash and he doesn't add much yet he is there for being the editor's favorite, Yelena is there after all she did and she adds even less, and the people titanized will revert to human (or at the very least Isayama's favorites will).
Oh anonie, you and me both my friend, you and me both 😔 Beware, a long rant-ish meta is ahead of you lol
I have absolutely no fucking idea why Yams decided to treat Hanjo like shit. You know, after a long time of denying her death, I was starting to accept it, because she was finally free, free of the burden and pain and finally reunited with the people she missed and longed for the most. But then Yams decided to slap us all in the faces saying there's no happy & peaceful afterlife in snk and Hanjo was probs only hallucinating because of her 4 years long depression? Well then, fuck you Yams! What was that even for? Isayama never backed off of showing us the horrors of death in snk, no matter how important the characters and how brutal their deaths really were. Still, he never showed us Hanji's actual death or dead body. He kept it misterious and his vague answers only made it worse. So it's only natural for us to expect a plot twist, right? That's the reason all of us gathered various hints in the manga, anime and his interviews. And lemme tell you, these theories are far more logical, better explained and have less plot holes than the entire final arc smh (yes I'm salty, fight me lol)
I hate to admit it, my inner self is still in denial and fighting, but Hanjo ain't coming back folks. We won't get any background story and the misterious shard will never be explained to us either. Yams had more than enough time to bring Hanjo back, if he truly wanted to. But he didn't. And now with only one chapter and so many unanswered questions left, there's no time for Hange's return. Why would he even do that anyways? Hanjo isn't important to him or to the story anymore. To us she is, always was and always will be ❤️ You know, I'm so fucking desperate to see her again, I'll even take one last panel of Levi remembering her, just like in ch136. Yams just let us see Hanjo one more fucking time 🙏🏻 I need to say my proper goodbyes to my one&only comfort character, who's influenced my life like no one else ever did ❤️
Back to Levihan (I don't think I can answer an ask without my biased and trashy shipper ass butting in lmfao): the question why Yams confirmed Levihan as canon if he didn't intend to bring Hange back and reunite her with Levi to make us him happy again? Well, isn't it obvious? This man is the devil incarnate. THIS MAN HAS NO FUCKING CHILLS lmfao JK y'all before someone declares war on me and my blog haha Well anonie, I feel like Yams really wanted to confirm his initially planned ships as canon, before the manga ends. And he chose the safest way possible. Easy as that. Also he said he is going for a bittersweet ending and what's more tragic (in this literal hell) than separating lovers, ergo Eremika and Levihan.
Now to something else, that's been bothering me for a while now and I'll use your ask anonie to share my thoughts with the world even though nobody asked lmao tbh I'm a bit disappointed with Armin. I love him, I really do. He's my precious cinnamon roll and my fave 104th kiddo. But honestly, I was expecting a bit more of the alleged "hero who will safe humanity". In fact, I'm sure Hanjo only died for Armin to become the new commander. That's it. That was the reason she had to die. Yams glossed over her to make Armin shine. But in fact, Levi's the one who's giving orders ever since Hange has left them. I might me salty, but I really hope the talk with Zeke (and probs Ymir as well, we still might have a chance to see the dialog that made Ymir change her mind) and his titan nuke weren't the only things he did as "humanity's hero" in this final arc. For some people this might me enough, for me it isn't. It wasn't worth Hange's sacrifice. Also what made me really sad was Armin himself glossing over Hanjo when he remembered Erwin Danchou, but not her. Like she didn't just pass away an hour ago to save their pathetic asses. Ugh this is making me hella mad, ngl. Hanjo didn't deserve this treatment! She gave her all for this! To save the alliance, to "pay the price" for her "sins" as the SC commander and to save humanity. I can't deal with how all of them and the fandom apparently forgot about that.
Now on to "Kiyomi's kindness" lol I wasn't really mad at Gabi for saying this as most of the fandom was. I won't go into detail why she isn't really a rationally thinking character (yo guys, you do remember she's a 12 year old kid, right?), but it's a fact that she didn't care for Hange enough to mention her. I mean, why would she? She barely even knew her. Also we don't really know what's gonna happen with Yelena, Kiyomi and her delegation. I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but I feel like Kiyomi accepted her death with saying "that's not enough atonement for what I did anyway". I mean they don't know if the alliance will win (they probably think they won't) and they're in the middle of literally nowhere. So I feel like Gabi said that because Kiyomi sacrificed herself (and the others on that ship) willingly, for Gabi, Falco and Annie getting a little chance of surviving and helping the alliance. But I get the rage of the fandom. Especially because no one, except for Levi, remembered Hange after her noble sacrifice.
As for Yelena and Onyankopon, there obviously has to be someone from outside of Paradis to survive the rumbling, otherwise it wouldn't make a lot of sense, I guess. I like Onyankopon a hecking lot ❤️ precious boi was literally crying for Hanjo 😭 Yelena on the other hand deserves what she got. Death would be too easy and kind for her tbh. She has to live with the consequences, just like Kiyomi, so I'm actually glad they survived. So my guess is, it's not really about who's Yams' favorite and what these people are contributing to the story, but it's rather about a logical ending and a good conclusion of the story.
I agree with you about the ones who have been titanized. They'll for sure revert back to humans. It's not really Yams' style to kill of an important character like Gabi, whose character development he's been forcing on us for quite a while now lol. I'm pretty positive about an ending with the titan curse being broken and bringing the titanized people back to human beings (probs also the millions of colossal titans?). It's only natural for Yams to end the story with the titan curse being lifted. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense to end his story at this point. But let's not forget what a big ass troll Yams is lmao you never really know what he's up to, so let's prepare for the unimaginable lmfao
I'll probably never forgive Isayama for what he did to Hange, his best written character, how he completely ruined her and threw her away as disposable, just to make other characters "shine". HER DEATH WAS POINTLESS AND IT DID NOT FUCKING CHANGE ANYTHING! That's the harsh truth y'all. Yams betrayed Hanjo and us AND FOR WHAT?
Thanks for the ask anonie and sorry I turned this into my personal rant lmao hope you still enjoy reading my thoughts on this ❤️

WHAT'S GOING ON? THIS IS PART TWO OF ME RIPPING APART DHAR MANN'S VIDEOS ABOUT FATPHOBIA! Whoo-hoo!
Before I get started, here's an obligatory trigger warning: This post will be talking about fatphobia, bullying, homelessness, mentioned ED, fat shaming, shaming a person FOR EATING, and the abused thanking his abuser AS AN ADULT for tormenting him as a young, impressionable teenage boy.
If any of that is triggering, upsetting, or makes you uncomfortable in any way, you don't have to read this post. Please consume media that sparks joy for you.
This time, there won't be a response from me about this video, like I usually do with all my Dhar Mann posts. If you want to see my response, refer to my first post about fatphobia (the one about the plus-size woman being fat shamed). It does tie in with this post, as my thoughts on this video are the exact same here. Yes, even though this is about a (at the time) plus-size black teenage boy being targeted. Search for the "dhar mann talk" tag and it's one of the most recent posts. I don't believe anyone should be shamed for their weight. Your weight doesn't hold any significance to your worth as a person. Don't let anything or anyone tell you otherwise.
With all of that out of the way, let's get to the video!
To sum up the video, it starts out with a plus-size black teenage boy (Kurt or "Big Boy", as he's called almost throughout the entire video) who's on a basketball court at school with his friend (Mike), a few other teenage boys, and Mike's uncle (Frank) is their coach. Mike is the captain on one team, Frank is the captain on the other team. They're picking teammates, and everyone is on a team except for Kurt and another boy. Frank says to his nephew to not pick Kurt (he called him "Big Boy" instead) because "he'd never win with him". LIKE THEY WERE PLAYING FOR THE NBA. CALM YOUR DICK. HOLY FUCKING HELL. THEY'RE KIDS.
Mike, not listening to his uncle (good for him), picks Kurt anyway. Kurt is happy and thanks his friend for picking him. Mike gives Kurt a shirt that looks at least a couple sizes too small for him and would be pretty uncomfortable to wear. This isn't Mike's fault, obviously. Kurt politely asks if they had a bigger shirt. Obviously not an unreasonable request. They're playing a sport that requires lots of movement (honestly, pretty much any sport would apply here, except for maybe golf or cricket) so it's understandable to want to at least be comfortable and have room to move around. Frank mocks A LITERAL TEENAGER with the whole "You think you're shopping at Big&Tall?" line and then says that's the only size they had (why couldn't they supply inclusive sizes in the first place, or at least ASK Kurt what his size was IN ADVANCE?), which....umm, I'm actually GLAD plus-size clothing for men (Big&Tall, in this case) is more readily available and accessible now. I'm happy plus-size clothing in GENERAL is like that now.
Mike comforts Kurt and says the shirt might fit. The shirt does KIND OF fit Kurt, but it's obvious he's uncomfortable. Look at this screenshot here:
Tumblr media
Frank laughs at Kurt, says he looks like Barney The Dinosaur, and the other kids laugh along with their coach. This is NOT setting a good example for children, Frank. You're a fucking teacher. You're a COACH. You're supposed to be teaching these kids about sports and shit. You're supposed to be setting a good example for these kids about teamwork and sportsmanship. WHAT YOU'RE DOING TO A TEENAGE BOY, WHO IS MOST LIKELY ONE OF YOUR STUDENTS, IS TEACHING NONE OF THOSE THINGS. You're teaching these kids that bullying their peers for things they can't help having is okay. Do better. (I'd say that he's an adult and should act like one, but I'm an adult and I barely act like one a lot of the time, so that'd make me a hypocrite.)
While I may be fortunate to have had a physical education teacher who never bashed on me or shamed me for my weight and she would cheer me on for whatever amount of effort I made the first and only year I had actual P.E., I know that many other kids who are plus-size most likely has/had horrible P.E. teachers or coaches like Frank.
To anyone who has/had a teacher or coach like Frank, I'm so sorry, kiddos. You don't deserve to be bullied by your own teachers. I wish I could give all of you a hug, but I can give y'all virtual hugs instead! *virtual hugs* /p
So they play a game of basketball, and Kurt is struggling to fully play because the shirt he was given was probably cutting off some circulation, especially in his arms (again, do I need to reiterate that this was NOT Mike's fault and is FRANK'S fault for his ignorance and negligence). Frank mocks his nephew Mike by saying that he told him not to pick Kurt. Why? Because according to him, Kurt will never make anything of himself in life due to him being fat. (AGAIN, THIS IS NOT TRUE.)
Then it cuts to Kurt sitting with Mike, who's working on his car and Kurt's working on his own thing. Mike says he believes one day he'll own a nice, brand new Cadillac. Kurt is very supportive and cheers his friend on. He says that he believes he'll be one of the biggest radio show hosts and has a title for it called "Big Boy's Neighborhood". Both of them are hyping each other up. Love to see men supporting men. Mike pulls out his Walkman (they were HUGE back in the 80s and 90s because you could listen to the radio from anywhere, I have a Sony Walkman mp3 player, but it's a newer model), and Kurt says that he's always wanted one but couldn't afford it. (I'll go into why in a second.)
Frank comes over to reprimand Mike, who has done NOTHING WRONG, for talking to Kurt. Instead of working, which Mike WAS actually doing. He tries to tell his uncle this, but he wasn't having it. Frank then reprimands Kurt, who also has done NOTHING WRONG, for just sitting and apparently "distracting Mike" (he wasn't). He asks if there's any work he was supposed to do. Kurt FINALLY stands up to Frank in a polite, mature manner. He says that just because he wasn't working with his hands, it didn't mean he wasn't working. Frank ridicules Kurt some more, Mike tells his uncle to leave his friend alone, and Kurt stands up to Frank AGAIN, still being polite and mature. UNLIKE THE ACTUAL ADULT ACTING LIKE A CLICHÉ MIDDLE SCHOOL BULLY WHO PROBABLY PEAKED IN HIGH SCHOOL. How fucking ironic.
What does Frank do in response to Kurt standing up to him? INSULTS THE KID SOME MORE. He tells Kurt that he must have "pig fat for brains" (which is not only insulting to Kurt, but also insulting to pigs, because pigs are intelligent animals), takes his small bag of Doritos, and says that he "doesn't need to be eating anything." He eats Kurt's Doritos IN FRONT OF HIM, tells Mike to quit letting his friend make him lazy (he wasn't doing that at all), and to get back to work.
Tumblr media
THAT line made me livid. I've actually thought that I didn't deserve to eat anything because I'm plus-size as a teenager, and into my adulthood at a few points in my life. NEVER say that someone doesn't need to be eating anything. (Obviously except for poisonous things, inedible objects, and things that could and will kill them.) You could cause them to develop an ED, or trigger an ED if they already have one. THAT'S NOT A GOOD THING. EDs are no joke. Whether it be starving, purging, or binge eating, none of them are fun to have and/or to deal with. Even if they DON'T develop an ED, their relationship with food will be all sorts of fucky-wucky. Some even for the rest of their lives. Unless you get proper treatment, of course.
When Frank leaves, Kurt is obviously upset. Rightfully so. How he's feeling is justified. Mike comforts him and says to not let Frank get to him. Mike offers to take Kurt home, but then realizes that his friend and his mom got evicted and are homeless. (This is why Kurt couldn't afford to buy a Walkman.) Kurt, still distraught, says that he'll just walk. Mike invites him over for dinner and that he'd drop him off after, which Kurt agrees to.
They're at Mike's house, having dinner, and Mike's parents are talking to Kurt. They're being supportive. Frank walks in to have his sister's cooking. He sees that Kurt's there. Mike's parents introduce Frank to Kurt, tells him Kurt's gonna be on the radio one day, Frank laughs and says Kurt's not gonna be anything. Kurt brushes it off. He says that his mom says that he can achieve whatever he wants (which is true, to a reasonable extent), Frank cuts him off and says his mom was lying to him, and that his mom knows he's gonna be a big loser.
Mike's dad tells Frank to leave Kurt alone. Mike's mom also says the same thing. Frank asks Kurt if his mom doesn't feed him at home, and what he was doing "eating up all their food" (he wasn't; he just had a singular plate). Mike and his mom tell Frank to stop. His mom explains that they invited Kurt over for dinner, and she tells her brother to sit down and eat. Frank then asks Kurt again if his mom doesn't feed him at home. Mike tells Frank that Kurt and his mom don't have a home because they just got evicted, which is a shock to the parents. Instead of having sympathy for a teenage boy who was on the streets with his mom, HE MOCKS HIM. WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT? Especially to a teenage boy who didn't do anything whatsoever to deserve being evicted from his home and be out on the streets with his mom. I've dealt with being evicted. I've dealt with homelessness. Out of no fault of my own. It's not funny, cool, glamorous, or anything like that. It's terrifying. I'm still traumatized by that experience and it happened four years ago. Sometimes I have nightmares about that kind of thing. The very possibility of becoming homeless and going through that again scares the shit out of me. The thought of it is so triggering for me that I will resort to reverting back to things I used to do when I was a kid. It also doesn't help that I will NEVER be able to afford an apartment on my own where I live now and will probably have to rely on at least two or three roommates and/or family to get by. Thanks a lot, Boomers.
I would never wish what I went through on anyone. Anyways, back to the whole summary of the video.
Kurt gets up and leaves the table. Mike tries to go after his friend to make sure he was okay, but Frank stops his nephew. ONLY WHEN KURT LEAVES DOES FRANK ALL NONCHALANTLY SAY THAT HE'S STARVING AND THAT THEY SHOULD ALL EAT. Despite Frank making Kurt as well as his (Frank's) own family upset.
Kurt walks to where his mom is. His mom notices that he's upset. Kurt tells his mom that it's because of Frank. His mom comforts him and gives him the advice that she gave him before. Kurt is still obviously too upset to take anything she's telling him, bringing up that they're homeless and broke, and his mom is desperate to help comfort her son. She gives him his birthday present early, which happens to be a Walkman. Kurt is shocked. He thought they didn't have that kind of money. His mom says not to worry about that. She pokes some lighthearted fun at her son, he thanks her, and he asks her a question. He asks if she believes he'll be successful or if she's saying that to make him feel better. She asks if he believes he'll be successful (yep), and he tells her that when he succeeds, he'll buy them a house so they don't have to be homeless anymore or worry about getting evicted.
Fast forward to adulthood, Kurt becomes a bouncer, meets someone who works at a radio station, and he goes there. Just to have people laughing at him. He's distraught again and leaves the station, thinking that he made a bad decision. Frank happens to come by, see that Kurt was upset, and asks what's wrong. Kurt tells him what happened, and Frank mocks him AGAIN with the same shit he told him when he was a TEENAGE BOY, now as a YOUNG ADULT. He walks off, laughing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nice going! /s Kicking Kurt while he's down JUST LIKE OLD TIMES, RIGHT? FUCK YOU.
Kurt then decides that he's gonna lose weight and be the best radio show host. (Toxic much? Why would you try to preach that your weight = your worth as a person? If you're losing weight for yourself, great! I'm happy for you! If you don't want to lose weight, you don't give a fuck about what people say, and you're happy in your own skin, that's awesome too! Do it for yourself, not for anyone's approval. Try to love yourself and accept yourself in any form you're in. Don't fall for the bullshit that you have to be a certain size or look a certain way for you to love and accept yourself. The weight may be gone, but the rest of your issues will still be there. I have to clarify that I meant this in GENERAL, not necessarily for extremities on either side of the spectrum of weight...because there are things you MUST follow.)
Kurt gets back to the station, ignores all the people being assholes, he's doing his thing, and he's climbing up.
Fast forward to when Kurt is middle-aged. He has his own radio show, and he's one of the biggest names in the radio industry. After he finishes up his show, he goes outside to see a couple of young fans. A young black girl with her brother, a plus-size boy. They say how much they love his show, they got his merch, and the boy tells Kurt that he wants to be just like him. The boy doubts himself though because of people abusing him JUST LIKE what Kurt went through. Kurt empathizes with the boy and tells him a little bit about his own experience. Following them is Frank as an old man. They're his grandkids.
Frank recognizes Kurt, and actually apologizes to him for the torment he put him through as a teenager. WHAT A SHOCK. /srs
Kurt takes it with grace, but says that he should be thanking Frank for all the torment. Why? Because it "motivated him". The girl says that she loves that. (Okay, since she's a kid and there's still time for her to change her mind about certain things, I'm not going to be as harsh here. I don't bash on the kids unless they're doing or saying extremely fucked up things willingly. She didn't say this with bad intentions. I understand you're coming from a good place, and I appreciate that, but please hear me out. This wasn't at all like dealing with edgy thirteen year olds on the internet. This man you look up to was abused by your grandfather in his youth. Your brother is experiencing that same torment your idol went through...at a younger age too, it seems like. The kid looks no older than middle school age [ten or eleven at the YOUNGEST to maybe thirteen or fourteen at the OLDEST]. That's a huge problem. Kurt may have "toughed it out", but that might not be the case for your brother. Please don't excuse that kind of behavior.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dude...what the actual fuck? I can understand not being bothered by the hate, but this grown ass man literally VERBALLY AND EMOTIONALLY ABUSED YOU AS A YOUNG, IMPRESSIONABLE TEENAGE BOY, CONTINUING INTO ADULTHOOD, and you're THANKING Frank for all of that? Why should you thank your abuser for what he put you through? He didn't contribute ANYTHING to your success. So I guess abuse is a GREAT contribution to people's success now, right? /s It doesn't contribute to anything, in my opinion. Yes, what doesn't kill you can make you stronger, but can we normalize people becoming weaker to a point due to traumatic events? Because they exist. Demonizing survivors who have become weaker to some degree or just flat-out ignoring them isn't helping. You did the thing you wanted to do, Kurt. Frank didn't help you. The person who really helped you was YOU and your mom.
MOVING ON.
The boy asks Kurt if he thinks he'll ever be able to make it as a radio show host. Kurt asks if HE believes that. The boy says he does. Kurt gives him some advice and gives the boy his Walkman. The boy's ecstatic, they leave, and Kurt goes to meet up with his mom.
Keeping to his promise, Kurt bought his mom a house so she'd never be homeless again and never have to worry about being evicted. (HOW LONG WAS SHE HOMELESS FOR? OH MY GOD. THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO KNOW. I hope you at least let her stay with you or something. They never went into that, unfortunately.) She's very grateful. The video ends there.
My personal thoughts on the video: Another piss poor video....but worse! Because it was a COLLAB. And based on a true story. Good going with taking this man's story of being abused by a grown adult to exploit for your personal gain, Dhar Mann! WOW. LOVE THAT! Totally a good look. /s
What I took from this video is that if you're plus-size, according to Dhar Mann, you'll apparently NEVER be successful, let alone be taken seriously...which is an absolute lie. There are many plus-size people who are very successful. Another thing I took from the video is that apparently according to Dhar Mann, being verbally and emotionally abused as a teenager by a grown adult all the way into adulthood is "motivation" for you to work harder to reach your goals. (Nice going, Dhar Mann. Justifying grown adults abusing children. Who would've thought? /s)
Oh, and it's like MANDATORY to thank your abusers for tormenting you when you become successful! (Obviously this is an exaggeration. This is me using Dhar Mann's logic against him.) You want to thank them for making you stronger? Fine. You want to spit in their face and say, "Fuck you." to them? Also fine. You want to just never acknowledge them ever again? Totally fine. Whatever you want to do, that's fine by me, but can you not imply that "thanking" your abusers is mandatory in some way?
If you made it this far, thank you! I hope you're having a good morning/day/afternoon/evening/night. Stay safe, y'all. Love you. /p

Jikook and Taekook in The Soop: Ep 06 Analysis
PREFACE
This discussion is a continuation of my opinion piece on Soop episode 06. I explained in that post, how I think Soop was initiated by BigHit and BTS to repair and replenish the dwindling bond of the group as prior to Soop, there had been some friction between some of the members which could be traced as far back as November last year and had only increased exponentially through to March this year.
Now I said this without prejudice, and knowing full well there are a ton of content withheld from us in the present day likely to be released years from now that may reveal a moment, a behind scenes, that to others may seemingly counter this perception of mine.
But like my theory on the Jikook break up moments, I stay my ground. I don't draw my conclusions based on a single moment of tension happening in isolation because they are human- a jet lag here and a muscle pain there could lead to an unnecessary outburst here or there. That's not it.
I look for patterns, take into consideration their personalities, note how a moment impacts or is likely to impact those established values and patterns of behavior that BTS themselves consciously contribute to to influence their public image and reputation- I take this delulu business pretty seriously you know? Lol.
For instance, when I say Jikook broke up it's mostly because I've noticed that over a period of time, certain things that make Jikook a couple to me are no longer present between them, in the way they interact, rather than that there was a few seconds tension between them in random moment on screen.
And I am well aware, that when some people say they feel Jikook are broke up that they are basing their conclusions off of their own insecurities about them rather than that they have seen enough, thought through enough about those observations to reasonably draw such conclusions.
For example, because to them Jikook interactions is their evidence of a romantic relationship, then Jikook not interacting in a random moment would indicate to them that something is wrong and that they are broke up- basic delulus.
I employ a different metric. Not better, just different. For example, I used them not knowing certain things about themselves within certain periods as an indication something is off.
This is not a hard rule. It could be random but when the information they are in the dark about came into existence within a period I suspected they weren't a couple due to other things I had noticed within said period, then that becomes a confirmation of that period for me. Feel free to disagree.
Jikook know everything about eachother, EVERYTHING. Or at least, they act like they know or should know everything about eachother.
They love to be the ones to know eachother the most and love to show off their knowledge about eachother like in the recent Bangtan Bomb when JK said he knew Jimin could touch his toe when he stretched.
'See, I told you he could touch his toe.' he says with pride. Then the bit about Jimin and beans, Jimin and the convenience store underwear etc.
So when JK suddenly doesn't know Jimin took pop dancing or when Jimin acts surprised that JK had gimbap it raises an eye brow. No?
What's more concerning to me is their reaction to news like this. JK zoned out for a bit and Jimin looked confused out of his wits in those instances. You could tell its something that really bothered them.
And while this may be an isolated incident for most, it's usually not for me or even surprising to me. Because, as explained, usually moments like these fit into an established pattern of inconsistent behaviours identified within those specific timelines prior to such moments, from my observation.
And I see most people also don't know how Jikook looks like when they are not 'together.' Which is also part of the problem.
To most people, a Jikook break up would look like the apocalypse up in BTS- it's not.
I've said several times in my blogs, if you believe Jikook are real then pay attention to what they are and not what you expect them to be. Their relationship parameters are set by them not us and our ideosyncracies.
To me and the way I see them, a Jikook break up is and would always be a return to friendship.
When Jikook break up they revert back to being friends. Friendship is their default, in the group setting anyway.
And as I've said, they lose or strive away the qualities that make them a couple during break ups but at a bare minimum their friendship will be there- for the harmony of the group.
And I think this is why some Jikookers theorize that Jikook knew the consequences their relationship was going to have on the group before entering into their relationship.
While I disagree they thought things through before deciding to commit to a romantic relationship, I agree that they know and have considered the impact their relationship can have on their group.
It is why they revert and will revert to being friends during times like that so their break up and conflicts doesn't affect the dynamics of the group.
I think this is one thing they both very much understand and commit to, to make sure their shenanigans doesn't impact the dynamics of the group- they owe their bandmates that much.
It is also this understanding that allows them to thrive and hide within the group.
What all this means is that, in times of a break up, the skinship will very much be there, the wearing the same attire will be there, the wearing the same bracelets will be there, they will still ride together if they have to- because none of these is what make them a couple!
And a fight is not a breakup, mind you. Often when they fight, I find they may not want to be around each other among other things but they don't lose the qualities that make them a couple.
You can still see their couple aura in such times. Whereas in the case of a breakup those couple qualities disappear entirely. In my opinion.
Perhaps I should make a blog post on what I feel makes Jikook a couple and how those qualities disappear around the times they break up? I'll think about it.
I have stated over and over that, skinship, car sharing etc are all not in any way indicative of a romantic relationship, not to me anyway. And honestly, if you can't tell between Jikook as friends and jikook as a couple- do you even deserve rights? Consider your delulu membership revoked. Lol
And if you aren't observant, shy away from angst, see them as a fantasy rather than actual human beings in an actual romantic relationship- subject to change, subject to growth, susceptible to temptations; if you mistake things that make them friends for things that make them a couple you would not spot their break ups when they happen. Or worse, you'd dismiss and overlook them when they do happen.
Deadass, you could be very much looking at the end of Jikook but still screaming power couple extraordinaire-
Isn't that where we are with Taekook? People mistaking all the things that make them friends for a romantic couple?
People dismissing all the questionable moments that's happened between them over the years- like Tae saying he couldn't even tell JK had been given a mission to ignore him because Jk ignores him anyway behind cameras, Tae's passive aggressiveness towards JK like in the VLive he exposed Jikook, the missing birthday wishes on Twitter etc- and not reflecting on them enough to critically examine their impact and what it says of the state and nature of their relationship?
Taekook in the Soop is an indictment of the shipping community. But I am not here to police anyone's delusions- freedom of belief, speech and all that jazz.
What I am here to do today, my dear delulu colleagues, is to examine Taekook in the soop and share my thoughts on the infamous conversation they had in that episode.
I will also be pointing out a few observations I made about Jikook in that episode that I feel will help shed more lights on the current dynamics between Jikook which further proofs Jikook is real.
TAEKOOK IN THE SOOP
Taekook's conversation in Soop 06 is shaping out to be one of the most controversial moments in the history of BTS ships.
To some it was a doze of reality, a game changer, if you will and had some people questioning their sanity while others jumped off the Taekook bandwagon all together.
But some die hard fans of the ship were quick to come up with a theory to explain away what had transpired that night as big bad BigHit curating that entire scene in order to bamboozle them and absolve themselves of all guilt for having previously separated Taekook and forced them to hide their relationship- scammers never die. Lol
Why would Taekook have that conversation on camera if it was that serious, they ask.
If they aren't close why did JK put his hands around Tae here? Why did he look at Tae there? They fist bumped in the background of this MV, surely they are a couple- y'all know how I feel about skinship being used as a determinant of romantic relationships so I'm just gonna roll my eyes here and keep it pushing-
This is what happens when you whimsically and randamly label a ship as real without due diligence, without conducting the necessary tests that allows you to reasonably assume that that ship is or could be real.
A ship is not real until it's breached the fourth way into alternative shipping and I'm sorry, Taekook has not breached that fourth wall. No other ship in BTS has breached that wall except Jikook. I have explained this over and over again.
How can Taekook breach the fourth wall when half of the moments, half of the content needed to establish it's piercing moment exists in the imagination of people?
By claiming BigHit hides, and cuts Taekook moments or any other ships moment, by claiming Taekook's interactions are mostly off camera, these shippers are shooting themselves in the foot and fooling no one.
Because what they are indirectly saying basically is there aren't enough moments to analyze upon whose findings we can draw such conclusions that Taekook is real.
I have a hard time believing Jesus is real and I'm a Christian. You think I'm about to buy that Taekook is real, based on faith??? Y'all tripping.
And no. The skinship don't count either. I mean people were running around the corners of the internet swearing up and down Jimin and Mina were dating based on their skinship until it was revealed Jimin had been abusing Mina all those years.
Skinship is performative and not a reflection of true intimacy or true bond.
That being said, yes I see Taekook's relationship. I see their dynamics. They are beautiful and as a multishipper- I really dig their bond. I do.
I have called them the evil power duo of BTS. I have said they don't have much intimate interactions between them on camera but when they activate their evil powers, lord do they set my insides on fire.
WHY FILM THAT BIT ON CAMERA?
For quality entertainment purposes. Lol.
Soop is a quasi self produced production by BTS. As such they themselves created the content, concept, decided where they were going to be, what they were going to do at what time and most importantly who they were going to be with or hang out with.
Everything was pre determined by BTS and the schedule was presented to BigHit- the camera crew and staff, beforehand so the staff knew where to place cameras, what equipment they were going to use and what props they are going to have to provide for BTS for effective filming.
Unlike run or Bon V where BTS have little creative control, BTS played a major role in the production of SOOP. So if that bit was staged then it wasn't staged by BigHit, but by BTS themselves- including Tae and JK.
I explained in my previous post, how I felt Soop is business but also BigHit's way of shutting BTS in a room and forcing them to settle whatever differences had crept up between them that had been affecting the dynamics of the group and threatening the longevity of their group around that period.
I said it was no different from Rookie King where they had an episode where BTS was allowed to shout their grievances off the top of a roof to foster unity among the members.
It's also no different from the missions they've are given from time to time or the love letters they have been asked to write to eachother. The objective of such projects have always been to bring the members closer, to build intimacy and to foster unity amongst them. Soop follows suit.
What's of interest to me and what you should be pondering over is what had led them all- BTS and BigHit, to embark on a project of this nature this time around.
BigHit is a business and can only stay on top of the game for so long if BTS is in the game. Them disbanding impromptu due to petty conflicts and misunderstandings amongst them will be a huge loss to BigHit.
And if you think petty issues aren't enough to bring down their empire- you are in the wrong delulu industry. Lol.
Kpop is wrought with stories of these nature. There are a lot of bands that debuted with and around the time of BTS's debut that are disbanded now due to the least misunderstandings- google it. I dare you to.
BTS do have issues from time to time that does threaten their band. How often have we heard them talk about almost disbanding? Remember 2018? Remember when JK cried because Hobi almost left the group? Remember when JK almost left the group to pursue a career in dancing?
The Kpop industry is hectic and brutal and bands within this sphere are fragile. it's easy to jump ship than to keep sailing. I mean, there's a reason Korean interviewers keep asking BTS their secret to staying together and for this long.
As RM puts it in the recent KBS interview, they are seven boys from different backgrounds in the same boat headed in different directions. That can create a lot of clashes here and there. So when tensions arise that they can help it, they take initiatives like Soop to help nip it and replenish their bond.
They don't allow issues to fester on to the point they want to go their separate ways. BigHit loves this about them and encourages that among them.
Do y'all see why I side eye people who claim BigHit is not happy with any pair within the group because they are real and wants to hide and suppress them?
Left to BigHit alone, BTS would be in one big happy gay polyamorous relationship with eachother if that meant the success and longevity of their business- they are depending on it. They would rather BTS keep the love in the barn than spread it elsewhere, if you know what I mean.
How are BTS portrayed in Tiny Tan? The bond you see in that animation is not just a reflection of BTS's actual bond but also a reflection of BigHits vision of their bond.
Jimin is portrayed as that hyung who is always watching over JK because he loves him so much. Tae is also portrayed as the one hyung who will dive to save JK. Tiny Tan is BigHit's ideal intimacy goal for the boys.
Again, BT21, how are their friendships portrayed in there?
It's absurd thus to think, believe or even assume that if there is an actual real intimate relationship between any of the boys, that Bighit's objective would be to hide and suppress it or even to kill it.
BTS's intimacy is a currency BigHit transacts with. But that doesn't mean BTS doesn't bank on it too. They are proud of their bond, often flaunt it. They know it makes them stand out of the lot and it's what has led to them staying together for this long in the business. They have a pretty strong bond.
They wouldn't have agreed to do this project Soop if they didn't want to or didn't think they needed it. They really love eachother as a team, as a band; they love working together and care about their careers unlike other bands we know. Cough, cough.
They are the blueprint and they know it. The last thing they want is for something as trivial as a misunderstanding to break them apart- Hobi said in his recent YouTube live how BE is their voice and an expression of their feelings and I can't wait to hear all the songs on the Album to understand what they've been through these past few months.
If building intimacy is the objective of Soop, then conversations like that of Taekook really shouldn't be shocking. It's to be expected.
If they felt the need to talk it's because they felt they was something they both needed to get off their chest.
Is a content of that nature good for ratings? Absolutely. Does that mean they performed it? No. Not at all.
It's similar to what Jimin did with JK in Rookie King in order to get closer to each other. They were friends. You think he couldn't have just approached JK off camera and told him how his actions hurt him?
How often have we heard RM or Tae ask if the cameras were they to capture a moment where the members have claimed to have cried and consoled each other?
See this is why people think Jikook is fake. They just don't understand that these boys choose to share certain intimate moments with the us out of love, out of a need to connect and have people share in their moments.
It's no different from BTS filming themselves screaming when they heard of that BB news. They share their joy, their pain and their conflicts with us as a way to connect with us.
How often have we wished the VMin dumpling fight was recorded, or that the rain fight was recorded? But when such similar moment is recorded y'all want to question the intention behind it.
Besides, having conversations like these on camera is the perfect cover for them to be vulnerable with eachother without feeling too vulnerable or feel like they are exposing themselves too much.
It's similar to how people choose to text or be vulnerable with others through letters and texts rather than in person. Its the fear of vulnerability. Being vulnerable like that in person can be extremely scary for them too. They are human too and sometimes they find their confidence and their voice when they turn on the cameras.
It's ridiculous to think a moment is staged simply because it is or feels like an intimate moment- Y'all claim BigHit hides Taekook's intimate moments and when they show it to us and it's fake? Chileeee!
If that moment was staged, then Jin apologising to Tae after their fight is fake, the fight itself was staged, V's letters were staged, V crying when reading those letters was staged- y'all see where I'm going with this?
None of it was real and we've all been bamboozled- Let's pack our bags!
Seriously though, we can't sit behind our screens and pick and choose which content is real and which is not simply because it doesn't align with our delusional theories. It doesn't work that way.
Especially not when everything we see is captured by the same lenses, edited by the same people and distributed by the same company.
Besides, Tae said the reason he did that was just to spend time with JK- which was the objective of Soop, wasn't it? For all of them to spend time together and bond?
How then is Taekook bonding by having a meal together any different from Hobi spending time with NamJoon in the mountains? Or Tae riding around the country side with Hobi? Or RM and Kook painting?
I'm yet to figure out the sequence that the entire project was shot in as I still haven't seen the full episodes. But I'll bet if there were any Taekook bonding moments, they were shot after their heart to heart moment, not before it. Tae wouldn't have been shy to invite JK had it been so. But who knows, I could be wrong.
TAEKOOK vs JIKOOK DYNAMICS
On Taekook's dynamics, I stated during our discussion on their love language that I don't see Taekook as emotionally compatible or emotionally dependent on each other even much less that they speak each other's love languages. They don't.
It's no secret Taekook have always lacked a certain level of mutual emotional dependency and vulnerability within their dynamics. To me anyways.
Rarely would you see them being emotionally vulnerable with eachother the way Tae is with Jimin or Jk is with JM. The only time I have seen them close to being emotionally vulnerable with eachother was at an award show when Tae cried and JK comforted him. But even that felt impersonal-
again the thigh slapping, cheek squishing, pegs on the cheeks, cuddling in bed etc doesn't count. That's skinship and you know how I feel about skinship or what I think of it.
When I say emotional vulnerability and dependency, I'm talking about instances such as when Tae said he missed Jimin, when he had to drag Jk away so he could ride with Jimin, all the things he said about Jimin in his letters, the way he talks about Jimin in his solo Vlives, writing songs inspired by Jimin, when he said Jimin was the one member who had been there for him during his grandmother's passing etc.
Jk expresses his emotional dependency on Jimin through his actions more so than his words- that need he has to constantly be around Jimin. You see this in moments where he subconsciously finds his way to Jimin like the 2018 comeback VLIVE where he and jimin were put in separate teams but after picking their groups mission he headed for Jimin's team instead of his.
You see this in the way he talks about Jimin when Jimin is not around. He would find a way to chip Jimin into any conversation- I dare you; Talk about heaven and it would remind him of Angel Jimin, talk about hell and he will burst out laughing because of Jimin's devil may care attitude that one time.
You see it in moments when he sulks and yap, whines and complains in a submissive tone when he interacts with Jimin at certain times.
Like when he talked about Jimin not waking him up in that interview, or even the New Jersey Live where he whined and pouted like a broke hearted seven year old and Jimin ended up doing- whatever that was to placate him... that VLIVE still makes me uncomfortable to watch to this day.
You just don't see that level of emotional attachment in Taekook. Their interactions are just that- interactions. Frankly, this moment in Soop is the only meaningful conversation I've heard between them in years.
It is this lack of emotional intimacy between Taekook that disqualifies them from being anywhere near real in my books.
While I acknowledge this lack of emotion amongst them, I wouldn't go as far as to say there's been a cataclysmic decline of their bond or friendship. They are still very much friends, just not intimate friends. Skinship wise, sure. But there is no depth to skinship as I've said.
So if skinship isn't what binds them, what does? Personality, for starters. And I know JK saying he and Tae had different personalities sounded confusing to most.
Jk had called Tae his commonality- this Festa was it? He's described Tae in his profiles over years and in recent times as someone he shares the most personality traits with within the group. He is not wrong.
Personally, I see him as very similar to Tae, Suga and RM in different aspects of their personalities.
I think what he meant by his statement about Tae becoming reserved since their trainee days was that he doesn't find Tae relatable.
You can share the same personality trait with people and still not find them relatable. And I contrast this with his interview with Jimin where JM said he and JK were similar in that they are both sleepy heads and hate to lose.
Jk quickly noted that they both were studying Japanese as well. He acknowledged the similarities between him and Jimin here also. Does it mean he found Jimin relatable?
No.
Jimin said after they both acknowledged their similarities that in spite of this Jungkook didn't seem to like him. Clearly. he too like Tae was feeling a barrier in his relationship with JK.
Jk futher admitted he liked Jimin. So if he liked Jimin and had a lot in common with him what was the problem? Relatability. Jk could relate to JM just as he feels he can't relate with Tae now.
In that interview he described how JM was pretty serious minded who liked to focus on one thing at a time- a trait he said was different and as such perhaps he couldn't relate with.
Isn't it the same song he is singing about Tae now? That Tae is reserved and too serious like Jimin was?
The difference between Tae and Jimin is, over the years and especially in recent times the members have talked about how Jimin seems less serious behind camera. Suga even went ahead to give him an award for this- lol, Suga.
Jimin has changed over the years. He's become more goofy and to JK- more relatable.
Have we all not seen Tae gradually close himself off within the group dynamics? How is it hard to see that that could be something that's impacted his dynamics with JK?
I've already mentioned how Tae has been through a lot trauma enough to shut him off emotionally to anyone but Jimin.
Seeing his two besties coupled up too mustn't be easy either. Exclusivity is one of JK's values and love wants. Jimin's love language dictates you treat him exclusively, differently from others- while this is complementary for them, it very much often leaves them with a tendency for to isolate and exclude others- how do you feel watching them from home? Think that but twice Tae and these other members.
That exclusivity Jikook exudes can make anyone emotionally dependent and attached to any one of them feel left out. And for Tae, I see how he would then want JK to treat him as a friend- as he treats Jimin perhaps. He didn't want to feel left out. Similar to how I said Jimin partaked in the culture of the group in early days because he didn't want to feel like the outsider being the last to join the group.
Jikook's exclusivity tendencies have a way to make him feel further isolated and disconnected from the group.
What it then comes down to between Taekook is the difference in their values and their understanding of intimacy. I think.
I have said, JK is one person emotionally closed off within the group. He used to be physically closed of too and took a minute for him to come to terms with even skinship.
These boys may be from the same cultural backgrounds but they have different beliefs and values and upbringing.
I explained how JK had had to suppress himself, his values and his beliefs especially in the early days in order to be the Maknae of the group and how he's been on a journey to slowly yet drastically grow out of that role and image.
I have explained that even though he does not have a problem with Skinship, he believes couples aren't supposed to cross certain boundaries with others which I said is what jeonlous is mostly about.
So when he said during that conversation, he preferred to keep a certain level of distance from people because he felt that level of proximity could end up ruining relationships, I understood perfectly what he meant. I have always suspected and speculated that about him.
No one BangPD script writer-nim put that in his mouth.
Tae is the opposite of JK in that regard. While Jk is emotionally closed off, Tae is emotionally lose and latches on to people quite easily- aka his attachment to Jimin.
He is among the members of BTS who I think lack emotional boundaries in the group.
Being emotionally close to people and receiving that emotional nourishment is one of Tae's love languages as I've explained in the past. And so I smiled when I heard him talk about how he wanted to feel loved by Army.
Tae lowkey has an anxious insecure attachment style brought upon him by no fault of his in my opinion and I've always felt a similarity between his and jimin's attachment styles in that sense- that constant need for reassurance for one.
While I feel Jimin's anxiousness and need for reassurance is often performative and as such is often exaggerated as part of his idol persona- Jimin does not in reality need reassurace of love from his love interest.
He may appear clingy to some and a bit insecure about his looks, but he doesn't trade his looks for love.
His looks I feel are important to him as long as his career goes. And he tries to look a certain way and obsesses about the way he looks because his looks is a means to longevity and fruitfulness of his career.
His love language is more towards wanting certainty and stability and making him feel like he is the only one.
On the other hand, Tae's need for reassurance sits at the core of him. I don't think it is an exaggeration or a persona at all. In my opinion.
His need for reassurance is born out of an innate fear of losing a connection, a fear of not being loved and a fear of losing love- not to psychoanalyze him or anything. It's just theory.
I've said Tae strikes me as a very melancholic person.
Remember when he faked being an Army to see if an Army was a Solo stan who just loved one member or him also as well- that bit was unsettling and uncalled for. Then during his conversation with JK he talked about how he needed that constant reassurance of love from Army- y'all still think he boo-ed up in there? Alright then.
Loneliness is a bitch. And I understand how he would be driven by an emotional void to connect and attach to people. He really was attached to his Grandmother and having a love connection like that yanked away from him without warning, without proper closure can leave a void behind.
So I see often while he craves to connect he often self sabotages that connection- he does this with Jimin at times, boy can he work Jimin's nerves!
It takes a big heart and a lot of patience to love a person of this nature- and there's only one Jimin in that VMinKook dynamics.
Jk is not good at emotions, can barely work his way through his own much less nurture someone with complex emotions such as that of Tae.
Tae has been working through a lot. Trying to be better. Taekook is just a casualty of Jikook...
I keep saying these boys are human and ought to be viewed, thought of and treated as such. If you want to ship them as characters within the Kpop verse then do that. But don't breach the fourth wall and still think of them as fictional beings.
If any ship is real, then their real lives are bound to affect their dynamics, their desires and influence their needs. It's crazy to turn a blind eye to all of that while uWu-ing your ass off at every cute moment edited and shared to you.
Comparing Tae to JK, JK to me barely expresses a need for emotional attachment to anyone. He is similar to Suga in that sense. It's easier to see who he is emotionally attached to and attracted to than to see his overt expressions emotions.
When you look at all seven you see who JK is emotionally attached to based on how he act around and towards that person. He shows, he doesn't tell. In my opinion.
Tae asking JK to treat him as a friend rather than as a hyung thus to me was his way of asking to JK to connect emotionally. That doesn't mean they weren't close. They were, just not as close as Tae wanted to be.
This is what I meant when I said both him and jimin had tried to break down JK's walls in their early dynamics around debut.
Jimin's approach was to breach JK's physical boundaries but in so doing he had accidentally breached Jk's emotional walls as I've explained in previous posts.
I stated how I felt, perhaps, JM coveted that physical connection between Tae and JK at the time he joined BTS, but it's occurring to me Tae equally perhaps coveted Jikooks emotional connection; asking JK to treat him as a friend- as he treats Jimin?
Now I don't know if that conversation was had before Jimin joined BTS or after so I won't push it.
Regardless, it seems JK putting up those emotional walls with him had led to Tar harboring resentments towards JK- typical of people with passive aggressive tendencies.
Sort of explains all those weird TaegiKook dynamics in the early days of Tae trying so hard to do things to make JK jealous- Do y'all see why I disregard anything that happened between all the members before 2016?
I feel because Tae was young at the time, he didn't have the emotional maturity at the time to deal with a situation like that and coupled with his passive aggressive personality, resentment was bound to build up between them.
This resentment showed itself through his passive aggressive attitudes towards JK- Jimin wants to come, JK is stopping him, then that slight head tilt. Oh, you were given a mission to ignore me? I didn't notice, you ignore me off cam anyway followed by that attitude whatever it was.
In turn, I feel JK along the way started to build similar resentments towards Tae too as response to Tae's coldness and I see how to him Tae would be the problem- to him Tae is the one who had changed and grown distant, reserved in their dynamic- unrelatable.
I feel JK's grudge against Tae leading up to Soop however was because he felt his partner in crime had stabbed him in the back- get out of your imagination. That's not what I'm referring to. Lol. I'll explain in a bit.
But yes, this resentment I feel they were both harboring could probably had further complicated their dynamic and got in their way of achieving true intimacy beyond the skinship- when I tell you skinship is not an indication of intimacy.
You could see this in the way they both were very defensive in their conversation. Whatever had happened, JK had extended an olive branch to have Tae to sit and have drinks with him but Tae had brushed it off.
After this, he's shy to approach Jk to ask him to have a meal with him- Where did it all go wrong, they asked- twelve year olds, that's what they are. Lol.
There was a certain degree of lack of vulnerability in the way they expressed themselves with each other especially on JK's part which I feel leads people to conclude that their conversation was somewhat coerced- It wasn't in my opinion.
I have explained when I was talking about their love languages how I feel Tae in general is very headstrong, almost as strong headed as JK which I feel it's one of the things that gets in their way of achieving true intimacy and I feel that is what we were seeing in that moment during conversation.
I've explained intimacy, true intimacy requires a crucification of pride and a sacrifice of ego without which any intimacy would be superficial. I used VMin's dumpling fight as an example, where I said it took 2 days to two weeks for them to resolve their issue because they were both being strong headed.
It took Jimin's vulnerability and a sacrifice of his ego to reach through to Tae and even that took how long? And this is Jimin, the half blood Hufflepuff, president of the kumbaya fanclub we're talking about-
Y'all think Mr. Let it burn, I'll rather be dead than cool is about to let shit go? - Get some education. It's not in his vocabulary. It's not in either of them's vocabulary. Lol.
While I see these two as both unwilling to bow and submit to eachother, I've see them willfully submit emotionally to Jimin. Where they both fail to be vulnerable with eachother they both eagerly let themselves be vulnerable in this way with Jimin.
So it's not as if they are incapable of being vulnerable with eachother. If Tae's narration of his offer of friendship to JK is anything to go by, it seems he at one point was willing to take the steps to build that level of intimacy needed for their friendship to thrive but JK had barred him.
Tae in wanting to be close with JK the way he(Tae) is close with JM spoke volumes about Vmin dynamics as well. It tell me he doesn't see his bond with Jimin as exclusive. Special, but not exclusive- and we know how both Jimin and JK feel about exclusivity.
Which brings me to JK's perception about VMin.
I don't think JK see's Vmin's friendship as problematic. He just see's their lack of emotional boundaries as problematic and so often you see him try to put up boundaries for Jimin in their dynamic.
To Tae emotional connection is important and an indication of intimacy. That's his love language, that's his value. But how is JK going to open himself up like that to Tae when he sees what Tae and JM have as problematic? When he values and believes emotional connection has to be reserved for an intimate partner?
As explained earlier, exclusivity is a huge deal to JK.
He believes somethings ought to be reserved and exclusive to love relationships. He believed it then, he believes it now and he has consistently lived that belief through his actions throughout the years.
And if this is his values, then imagine his frustration at seeing people cross all sorts of boundaries with his man everywhere he turns- its enough to give anyone a complex, seriously.
When Tae explained that JK refusing to treat him casually as a friend was part of the reason they couldn't be as intimate, JK was quick to point out why he made that decision all those years and from the looks of it he ain't changing his mind anytime soon.
Dude literally said- I said what I said.
JK believes to make his intimate relationship special and to protect the sanctity of it, he ought to put up walls not further indulge in and perpetuate the lack of emotional boundaries within the group.
In this regard, Taekook is a casualty of Jikook, nothing personal. I've said, a real relationship involving JK or Jimin within the group is mutually exclusive to any other ship involving those two. As such all those other ships involving those two are bound to be casualties of Jikook.
In as much as BTS have thrived as a group on the lack of boundaries between them, this lack of boundaries was also ruining some of the members' joy especially JK who believes a certain level of boundary is necessary for a healthy relationship- Soop was very much neccessary.
And I see some Jikookers are claiming, Taekook settled their differences and had that conversation perhaps for Jimin's sake? Chileee- it makes sense if you are looking at things in isolation? But...
I mean Jikook have been dating a long time- six years now, for Taekook to be only now considering the effect of their dynamics on Jimin. If Jimin is whom they were concerned about they would have nipped it in the bud a long time ago especially around the time Jimin was having a tough time in his life. In my opinion.
I acknowledge the role Jimin played in bringing those two together and even believe he is the one that influenced them to take the initiatives they both took separately but no. I don't think they did this for Jimin. They did this for themselves first of all and for the sake of the sake of their careers, and the group.
[Image below. Check end of post if it's missing. Tumblr, Sigh]
I know some people have theorized that JK posted this on Weverse after his live because he was eager to do his next live with Jimin- true, but not only that.
The tension in that live was there but it wasn't there because he was uncomfortable with Tae per se. He has had a live with Tae in the past, has filmed with staff around and so Jeon Jungkook really had no excuse now did he?
Then the shade he threw, I shouldn't try to make anything next time- then proceeds to make gimbap with Jimin in their live while cheesing through it.
I feel his statement about making things was a Jab at BigHit. I told you previously how I felt he didn't want to do the live. That neither he nor Tar wanted to do the live hence BigHit's results to coercion. In my opinion.
BigHit at the time, it seems, was making them do these weird PG13 arts and craft thingy during their heavily monitored lives- it was weird as fuck especially for the audience that have grown used their VLives being a way for them to have intimate moments and conversations with BTS- I dipped out of most of those VLives. Deuces.
Homeboy was protesting because he just wanted to, first of all, have a Vlive alone with Jimin because they hadn't had one in a while- he deadass wanted to sit and stare into JM's soul while the rest of us watched on in silent discomfort and miserable loneliness while we thirdwheeled- This man, I swear to God!
But he also wanted to fight for their right to as a group to do whatever they wanted with little control and interference from BigHit- Independence really is recurring theme in JK's dramas. Lol.
After JK posted those rebellious tweets to out BigHit, Tae followed those tweets with a tweet akin to hold your peace followed by the shush emoji.
On its own it doesn't mean much. But read together with JK's post and the background I've given, it takes on a whole new meaning.
This moment to me was one of those evil twin power activation moments. Tae seemed to be with JK on that, in his own passive aggressive manner.
I talked about how social media was one of the tools they use to fight back against BigHit. Especially, by withholding their presence on social media platforms.
The company needs them to be online, interacting with fans and growing their fanbase. I hear some Idols, not BTs, are allegedly forced to appear on VLives even and social media even.
Yet BTS do that pro bono. So when they feel the company is tripping they exercise their rights to remain off the internet.
So imagine my surprise when Tae was suddenly popping up on Weverse, Vlive, YouTube live left right left!
I was surprised not because it was unusual of him, but because I felt that was contrary to the move he had made in support of JK earlier.
Do I think it is probably one of the immediate causes of the heat between Taekook that they needed to address? Probably.
I mean why else would Tae bring up him spending so much time online in his conversation with JK? How is that a way to bond with JK? Unless, perhaps JK had been pissed he did that and so Tae felt he needed to explain why he did that? Don't mind me. I'm delusional- but deadass.
Now a chunk of that conversation was voiced over so we will never know everything about that moment. And I hope, in the future they both talk about this and give us more details about this.
Both Jk and Tae have had issues with BigHit in the past and when they do they aren't afraid to come at BigHit with direct or passive aggressiveness.
Did y'all see ILand? How Tae took a jab at Bang PD over chicken breasts? How in Rookie King he expressed his resentment at BangPD for not knowing his name?
They are both expressive, assertive and less of a pushover in that way, I feel. They will put up the you can force the horse to the river side but can't force it to drink attitude if pushed against their will.
OTHER THINGS I NOTICED IN SOOP
I mentioned in my previous post how Jikook have been asserting themselves against eachother.
By that I meant, JK has been pushing JM to put up boundaries, treat their relationship with the same level of seriousness he does and not act like an ass kisser within the group all the time- bless him.
Jk used to be that guy who tried to please everyone. He would sacrifice his own happiness if that meant the happiness and harmony of the group. He is very Kumbaya in that way.
While this is noble, often he ended up stepping on JK's happiness because sacrificing his happiness is sacrificing Jk's happiness.
Him being the decision maker in their dynamics, that often means he ends up sacrificing JK's happiness without JK's permission.
To JK, JM would always come first. But Jimin is a bit of a people pleaser. He would consider the effect putting JK first would have on the group before placing him first- lately that has changed.
I feel Jk has been pushing him to careless about people's opinions of him and their relationship- please listen to the lyrics of GCF Helsinki to see what I mean especially whenever Jimin comes on the screen for the longest bar.
Just as much as JK has been pushing JM, JM has equally been pushing JK to be mindful of his possessiveness. While I see Jimin as someone who likes to belong, I don't think he wants to be owned.
So you see him pushing Jk to be social, to spend time with others- fix his issues with Tae for example, read books etc.
I hinted at this dynamic when I talked about Jikook shading eachother. Please check it out.
JK's always asserted himself and wanted to assert himself in the group dynamics and he has always expected that of Jimin as well.
It's no surprising then to see Jimin say no to Tae when Tae asked him to go on a car ride with him and Hobi in Soop episode 06. Old Jimin would have run along, no questions asked.
Jikook have changed. Their relationship dynamic has changed, their individual personalities have changed- are changing and they are changing eachother as well.
It explains why to JK Jimin feels more relatable as we've talked about above. They are changing but are also changing for eachother.
Some of these changes are glaringly obvious, others are subtle and easy to miss if you blink.
For example, Vmin's interaction mentioned above. Notice how Jimin is the outdoor kind of guy but in this instance he chose to stay indoors? Outdoors activities are his thing, indoors activities are JK's thing.
Do you see how Jk is influencing him?
He not only chose the indoors, he also chose an indoors activity that had JK written all over. How should I put this, painting, craft, drawing- those are ravenclaw traits not halfbood hufflepuffs' traits. Know what I mean?
True, Jimin loves these activities too but when you think of him traveling all over the world during their vacation- something I said was a cause of misunderstanding between them in August last year, you'd understand what I mean by JK asserting himself against Jimin.
They are compromising, they are negotiating, they are each embracing aspects of their personalities and accommodating it- you call it domesticity, I call it the aftermath of a trail period in Jikook's journey.
There are a lot other observations I made but this is all the length Tumblr can permit. Love Jikook and Support them.
Signed,
GOLDY

If the requests are open(if not, sorry for bothering y'all, I'm unsure if I'm reaind right or not), how about the V3 girls finding out their S/O is the blackened, only because they found out that their victim had plans to kill them both? Sorry if this is weirdly worded or anything!
Don't worry about how this is worded, Anon. I believe I was able to understand and even if I didn't you can always just tell me and I'll fix this up. It’s ironic that on my second day of writing requests again I’m already giving you guys more angst but I hope that it’s to your liking.
Tumblr media
Kaede
Kaede didn't know if she could believe it. To hear that you'd kill one of your guy's friends was just bizarre.
You were so kind and sweet so why, why would you hurt anyone else!?
She wanted to say something but her words were stuck in her throat. Her love was a life taker and there was no escaping that fact.
She felt helpless, she couldn't figure it out and so she was left with one option. She had to ask even as she choked back sobs why you'd do this.
"Why, S/o!? How could you do this to our friend?"
She thought the news that you already killed her but hearing the reason just made things even worse.
Even if you wanted to protect her she couldn't accept this. She'd never accept that you'd turn to the murder of all things, that wasn't you, at least it shouldn't be.
Kirumi
Kirumi was normally calm and composed during the class trial but when all the suspicion fell onto you she began to worry.
She had an obligation to serve those around her as the Ultimate Maid, she had told you that before the two of you had even started dating but she still struggled.
Normally she could vote for someone rather quickly, feeling little to no nervousness as she was confident in her fellow classmates' decision.
This time though she could feel anxiety swelling within her as her shaky hands struggled to decide your fate.
For the most part, she appeared somewhat shaken up but inside she was breaking at the cracks.
"Why? Why did you do it? Why did you of all people!?"
Question after question poured out but all of them were answered in a way that she didn't anticipate. You were protecting her.
You were protecting her when it was her job to help you. If you just told her she'd be willing to do anything so that she could stay with you.
If it called for it, she'd even follow you into the dark, sure to come for you. She would do it all and more.
Angie
Angie normally was so happy go lucky and carefree that not even a killing game seemed to be able to pull her down.
Just yesterday she was laughing and smiling with you and now everything was turned on its head.
The person she trusted, the person she loved, they were a killer. Just yesterday you wouldn't even swat at a fly and now you had taken someone's life just earlier today.
How could this happen? How could yesterday be so different from today? How could the you of yesterday seem like such a different person from the one standing in front of her now?
She could barely utter the words as an unusually serious expression covered her features. "Why? Why would you leave me too, S/o?"
She knew you had to have some reason and when you told her that you had to protect her and yourself she knew it was just as hopeless as it already seemed.
After you left she'd go back to being the loneliest girl in the world. Even if she called out for you there was no bringing you back.
She couldn't even ask if it was ok for the two of you to stay like this. It didn't matter anymore.
Tenko
Tenko normally let her emotions get the best of her but that whole trial she was covering for you like there was no tomorrow. Maybe she didn't care if there was even one.
Even when everything pointed to you, she had full faith in you, refusing to acknowledge a single piece of evidence.
You couldn't let the class come to the wrong decision though, even if you were just protecting her. You had to hurt her to save everyone else, even if it's the last day you'd spend together.
As Tenko went to defend you once again you cut her off, confessing yourself, to everyone's surprise, especially hers.
"No, there's no way you could've, S/o! Don't even joke about that kind of thing!"
She pleaded she begged, she cried trying to get you to tell her that it was a lie. That all of this was a lie but all she got as a response was silence.
How could she be so useless? Why wasn't she able to protect the two of you? She never wanted this to happen!
Tenko couldn't even bring herself to look at you as the voting commenced. She wanted to wake up now, to wake up from this nightmare.
She was useless if only she could revert time so that this would've never happened.
Miu
Miu was never quick to catch onto how things worked outside her own inventions so when others began to accuse you of murdering one of your friends she was more than confused.
Even when Shuichi was accusing you she'd be trying to defend you only for the realization sinking in further with each time she opened her mouth.
"Her!? You gotta be joking right, how does any of that tie back to...wait what!?"
How did this happen!? She was just with you yesterday and you didn't seem suspicious. Why would you do this to her? Did you just want to leave her that badly!?
Despite her tough facade, she'd be breaking down, on display for everyone as she'd yell out accusations for why you did it, only quieting down when you yell over her that you did it to save her.
"Why though? Why did you make it so I h-have to watch you die now!? If I knew you'd do this then I would've never gotten close to you!"
She hadn't meant to yell out something like that as her last words to you before everyone voted. The truth was she wanted to cry, it was painful, and now she had no one to cling to.
Himiko
Himiko was quick to judge others more often than she'd like to admit. Normally, she'd be one of the first to point a finger as soon as Shuichi revealed how everything could point to someone but now she was faltering.
She wanted to believe in you so she'd refuse to hear any of it. Like Tenko she came across even as hysterical as she'd scream above others about how you're innocent.
She was falling apart, she didn't want to believe it but a part of her mind knew all along. Even as tears began to fall she just kept going on, beginning to sound like a broken record until you spoke up.
It was too much for you to keep going. You knew she'd break herself if you kept this up so you had to take it upon yourself to be the one to do it.
You had to break it to her that you did kill someone but it was only so that she could live on and so that you could have at least one more day with her.
You couldn't save both of you but if she was fine then you'd be happy. That's what you said at least but she still could barely press her trembling hands to vote for you.
Now she didn't know what to do. It was her last moments with you, she wanted to tell you how much it hurt to lose you or how much she loved you but nothing but sobs came out.
To say it hurts is hard to say and now that you're gone you won't hear it either way.
Tsumugi
Tsumugi was shocked when everything pointed back to you during the trial.
She knew there was no way you'd kill someone so something had to be off. That must be it because it's what she wanted to believe.
She could only lie to herself for so long though. She wasn't Kokichi, she couldn't keep weaving her own deceptive web to hide behind.
She had to face the facts. You killed someone and it was only to protect her of all people.
Someone so plain as her living in place of you. It was asinine. There was no way she could accept it.
"S/o, why would you protect me? Someone so plain like me I..."
Before she could finish she's cut off by a sob, unable to continue speaking. She just wanted this to end.
She didn't want to vote, or play this sick game, she just wanted it to stop.
Why couldn't it though? Why did she have to look to you as she voted for you of all people? Why couldn't things just end simply?
Maki
Maki was used to others suspecting her but when the suspicion fell on you she was taken off guard.
Sure all the evidence pointed to you, but for someone to treat her like you did make it seem impossible for it to be true.
She'd grow increasingly defensive, even lying for you if she felt she needed to.
She wouldn't stop, not until she had it confirmed for her by you yourself. She'd continue to the point that she'd seem hysterical, almost like Himiko or Tenko, and at that point, it was cruel to let her go on.
You were making her suffer like this so you had to explain why you did it. You had to tell her how much you just wanted to be able to protect her for once.
She never had anyone to help her like that before after all so you couldn't let her die when she seemed to finally be able to reach for happiness after she had suffered so much.
"Why? I-I never had fallen for someone before you, I never had anyone care the way you do. That's why you can't do this, you can't!"
As much as she'd like to argue with you, you definitely could do this. You killed someone and their silence was an indefinite thing, just as permanent as your love for her.
You wouldn't argue anymore. All that was left was the voting. You could tell she struggled but you knew she'd do the right thing.
She was hurting, maybe more than ever but that was a good thing as bad as it was. She could show the people around her that she cares now so you knew she could be happy again.
But all Maki could focus on was how once again she was useless. She was just a useless child, just like when she was growing up. She had failed the one person she had.

Impossible (7/8)
Imagine Billy Hargrove with a Mixed/Biracial SO
Warnings: SEASON 3 SPOILERS, Swearing, mild violence, angst.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The rest of the week flies by, with Billy weaning himself away from hanging out with Tommy and Carol and more to hanging out with you.
Billy actually learned a couple things that just barely helped him scrape by on his tests.
You passed with flying colors of course.
Now y'all are in the "real world"
Billy snags a summer job as a life guard.
You got a job at the hospital as a patient escort (the hours ain't bad, and it pays good).
You visit Billy at the pool sometimes, and you both still hang out on weekends.
Tommy and Carol don't hang around him anymore (because popularity status from high school no longer matters).
You're trying to help Billy move out of his house, but getting a place of your own isn't easy, so you manage to convince your parents to let him move in with you guys.
He has to stay in the guest room and pay rent though, obviously.
Billy still hasn't moved in yet though because he wants to save a bit of money before he has to worry about paying bills.
It's a smart idea and you support him.
For the most part your Summer is just working, hanging out with friends after work, and juggling the kids (Will, Dustin till he goes to summer camp, Mike, Lucas, and Max. You don't worry about Eleven because she isn't really allowed out of her house).
One day when the kids are all hanging out at your place, Billy walks in and treats the place like he lives there.
Just walks in grabs the milk from your fridge and makes himself a bowl of Cereal, before sitting in a stool by your kitchens island.
Thay all just kinda stare at him for a moment in silence.
"What?"
"Nothing!"
Billy just rolls his eyes and finishes his bowl before getting up to go to the bathroom.
"Ah, ah! Put it in the sink!" You just happen to walk past to grab something from your parents room.
He doesn't fuss, throw a fit, or even act remotely annoyed. He just back tracks and put the bowl in the sink, filling it with warm water before continuing on his way.
Once you both are out of ear shot, Lucas mentions how he's glad the two of you are dating, because Billy's gotten a whole lot better. He's still an ass, but old Billy would have tried to scare the shit out of the kids for fun just for staring at him. New Billy was just annoyed.
Max acts like she's disgusted, not at the idea of the two of you being together, but just because Billy is her brother and she's just grossed out by the thought of him with anyone really.
"They are not dating!"
"They totally are, did you not see the way they just interacted!" Mike is whisper yelling.
"Yeah, it was actually kinda..." Lucas shrugged and looked at Mike.
"Domestic," Mike found the word Lucas was looking for.
"Nu-uh! Billy's just moving in, so he should know house rules by now." Max tried to justify what just happened, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms, before sitting back into the couch with a huff.
"That statement really doesn't help your case."
"Trust us, they're dateing."
"Who's dating?" You walk in just then.
"No one!" "Mike and Eleven!" "Max and Lucas!" They all had conflicting answers to your question.
You just raised a brow in confusion at them.
At that moment Billy steps out with his red duffle bag and heads out for work, "Forgot I left my stuff here the other night," he explains as he passes you to the door.
The kids all look at each other, 'The other night?'
"Okay, there's leftovers in the fridge!" You call as he opens the door.
Billy pauses again and backtracks, closing the door, going to the fridge, and opening it. He paused for a moment as if searching, and then he pulls out a Tupperware container with last night's dinner in it, before putting it in his duffle and heading out again, "Thanks," he opens the door, "See you later!"
"See you!" You turn and look back at the kids, "Sorry, what were you saying?"
They kinda just stare at you gobsmacked.
"Nothing."
The kids actually make it there mission for a while to prove to Max that the two of you are together, but all they succeed in doing is getting caught and threatened by Billy to "Fuck off" and "take your sick jokes elsewhere." He doesn't appreciate peeping toms, especially when they're peeping at him.
Still kinda the same old Billy, just much less dramatic.
You notice something's up with Billy though after he gets attacked by the Mind Flyer.
He seems paranoid, tense, and almost bipolar.
You ask him constantly about it when you see him, and at first he tells you its nothing.
You thought his dad found out about him trying to leave because now he doesn't come around your house anymore.
You still see him at the pool, and he'll stop by, but he never stays.
He becomes awkward in conversations, like he's there, but not completely.
You wonder if he's depressed.
Then he starts avoiding you all together after Heather goes missing (of course you didn't know that she'd gone missing).
When you manage to corner him at the pool, Billy seems to revert back to his old High School self.
He's rude and tells you he wants you to stay away from him.
You're honestly really hurt now because you've made so much progress.
He was supposed to be moving in for gods sake.
Little do you know he's just trying to protect you.
You're the last person he wants to hurt.
He's already hurt one of his coworkers.
He almost hurt Mrs. Wheeler.
But you don't know about her.
When the kids try to spy on Billy, your house is the first place they go to.
Max has been sleeping over at Elevens house the past few nights, so she doesn't know he's been actively ghosting you.
"I dont know, he's avoiding me."
They of course thought that was weird, just a few days ago he seemed so comfortable in this house and around you, and suddenly he's giving you the cold shoulder?
"Did you guys get into a fight?" Max is concerned now because she's really hoping Billy is not the host. They're looking for Billy to do very un-Billy things as proof, and this- thus us very un-Billy.
"No, one day he was fine, then the next he acts like he doesn't want to talk to me if he doesn't have to, and now he's avoiding me all together!" You're actually getting very frustrated now.
"Do you guys know something? Did something happen? Is Billy okay?"
"No nothing," You still dont know about what's been going on the past year or so. You weren't there when they caught off the Demigorgon and you weren't there for the fall of the Mind Flyr either. They had to keep it a secret, "Max just noticed he hadn't been around you lately."
"Friends don't lie," Eleven doesn't like that they were hiding Billy's life being in danger. If something happens to him, you would be hurt, and it would partially be their fault for not telling you the truth.
They try to keep Eleven quiet.
Spoiler, it doesn't work.
So they have to tell you everything that's happened since Will disappeared.
You didn't believe them at first of course, but then Eleven shows you her powers and you start to second guess yourself.
It would at least explain Billy's sudden odd behavior, and why Will acted strange after he returned.
Of course you had always blaimed it on PTSD since you didn't know what the kid had truly been through.
Now you see it's much worse than you could have imagined.
Tumblr media
So now your in on the madness.
The next place the kids go is the pool.
Shocker, he's there.
"Its too hot outside to be wearing a long sleeve," is your contribution to their debate on whether or not Billy seems like Billy right now.
"True, but light color cloths make it a bit cooler."
Also true.
None of you could see from this distance, that Billy us sweating buckets right now.
But at least the sun isn't hitting him directly, so he skin won't burn and give him another lesion.
The boys are talking about their plan, but your too lost I thought watching Billy to notice them leave you, Max, and Eleven behind.
It was odd to think that this person you were watching wasn't really Billy. He looked like Billy, but he didn't act or think like him.
When the boys come back then fill you in on the plan.
For the most part you're just hiding with Max, but you will come in handy if the real Billy is still in there somewhere.
You show yourself alongside Max.
Billy pauses for a second, like his mind is trying to comprehend that you're a part of this.
"Why?" He actually looks vulnerable and his voice sounds broken, till it slowly contorts into a look of anger and he starts banging o the door.
Your a little unnerved.
And your having flashbacks from back in High School when you and Billy still didn't get along.
He doesn't understand why this is happening to him.
Everything was going great.
He had a job.
He was working on getting out of his father's house.
And he actually felt like he had someone he could trust.
Then you had to go and do this to him.
That's when it occured to him.
He's been treating you like shit these past few days.
And he's done terrible things
Maybe he deserves this.
That's when he screams in frustration, anger, and sadness, before he starts sobbing.
"Its not my fault...."
"Please."
"I'm sorry."
"I didn't mean to."
He's pleading to you and Max with a broken voice and a broken spirit.
For once Billy looks the way he's always felt on the inside.
Desperate, alone, and afraid.
"I'm sorry for the way I treated you."
"It's not my fault, I promise you."
You're the first to approach the door, and Max follows right behind you as she begins to question Billy.
"He made me do it."
When Max questioned him about who "he" was and what "he" made him do, Billy seemed to retreat into himself more.
The sight broke your heart.
After high school, Billy seemed better, and after he started slowly getting away from his father he actually seemed more confident- and not that fake ass peacocking he didn't in school either, like actual confidence.
But now he was fighting something he couldn't get away from.
He slowly lays down on the floor and continues to beg and plead.
He can't even say what he's done.
You almost open the door, till Mike and Eleven stop you.
Your almost on the verge of tears.
"He's my friend....."
"That's not Billy," Mike says sternly.
"He's hurt," you're trying to get them to let you open the door.
But you stop when Will tells you he can feel "him."
Mike backs of first and tells you and Max to get away from the door.
You're confused at first, but you see Billy just as he comes for the window with the piece of tile.
You push yourself away from the door, and take Max with you, saving her from being hurt by the thing posing as her bother.
When Billy manages to get out and starts hurting the kids, you call out to him.
He stops to look at you and you can see the real Billy in his eyes and in his lip that quivers slightly at the edges.
When El starts throwing him around the room all you and Max can do is hold eachother.
Billy had changed, and you all had gotten so close, and now you have to watch someone you have come to love get hurt.
It breaks your heart to see how desperately he wants to fight this thing. He's always tense, like he's trying to hold his body back, and the tear that trails down his face tells you that again, he's so sorry for what he's doing right now.
You're relieved when he runs off because it means that he can't hurt the kids, and they can't hurt him anymore.
Max is glad she at least has you with her.
Sure she has Lucas, but her friends never really liked Billy, so they don't understand why she cares so much.
Tumblr media
You go to the hospital with the kids when Nancy and Jonathan take them along.
You pose as Mrs. Driscoll's grandchild as well.
It was terrifying seeing a pile of gore come to life and chase your friends down.
After you all got back to Eleven's house, you can't stop pacing up and down, and you're just making Max more on edge.
I mean who could blame you though.
Those guys at the hospital who turned to mush were under that monsters control, so what was keeping it from doing the same thing to Billy?
What if he dies a horrible painful death? And you can't be there with him?
Max tries to reassure you that everything will be alright.
After all, they've beaten this thing before.
Though it does sound more like she's trying to convince herself more than she is trying to convince you.
You sit down when Max and Mike get into an argument about Eleven. Honestly, after the night you've had, you've just realized how physically, emotionally, and mentally drained you are. You didn't even think you've slept in almost 24 hours - the kids came to your house, you went with them to the pool, you watched Billy till the end of the day when his shift ended, trapt him in the sauna (mind you it was already dark when the Sauna Test went down), craziness happened, went to Eleven's place so she could find Hopper and they could fill him in on what's going on (because apparently the Sharif is in on this madness too), and that's when Nancy and Jonathan arrived with their information on Mrs. Driscoll, and now your here.
Maybe it's been a little more than 24 hours... Perhaps you should lay down...
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, Billy is off doing God knows what.
He's trapt in his own mind - completely aware of what's happening but he's unable to do anything about it.
This monster has taken control of him from the inside and the first few days it at least seemed like he had some semblance of control - like he was driving and the monster was sitting in the back seat telling him what to do. Of course at that point he didn't have to listen, but then it started showing him things. It migrated to shotgun and started messing with the steering wheel.
Now it just feels like it's in the driver's seat, but he's bound and gagged in the back passenger seat where he can at least see everything.
It was hard hurting those kids. He had promised Max he would never hurt her friends again, and honestly, because of you he and his little sister had grown closer, and he's actually been relatively happy. He had just been starting to think that maybe, just maybe, Hawkins wasn't so bad and he could stay.
Then shit hit the fan.
He had never seen you so afraid of him in the time he has known you. Not even when you both didn't get along in high school. Back then, you had more of a rebellious fire in your eyes, and no matter what he did to try and snuff it- to make you afraid of him, it only seemed to feed the fire. But back in the sauna...you looked petrified, unsure, on edge, afraid.
Ironic how now that he desperately wants to protect you and Max, you're both can't trust him.
Why is he like this?
Why does he always screw things up?
His mom left him.
His dad hates him.
He was a fuck up all throughout school.
He had shitty friends who, let's be honest, weren't really even his friends.
He hurt- maybe even indirectly killed his coworker.
He almost killed Karen. Oh God, Mrs. Wheeler. He regrets trying to get her to meet him at the hotel. He doesn't even have feelings for her - he just thought she was hot and wanted to get laid, and by an older woman at that. In fact, he had been on his way to meet her when he was attacked.
And now he's probably lost you and Max.
He feels utterly and terribly alone.
Tumblr media
When you wake up, it's to the sound of El screaming. She's freaking out because of the vision she just had of talking to Billy.
The conversation about what she just saw was very sobering. You are wide awake now that the possibility of death looms over you, and the sound of screeching from the approaching monster in the distance doesn't help.
It found you.
You all get the house ready - shut the windows, close the blinds, block off possible openings and stand back to back.
You would feel much safer in a basement.
When it comes through the windows, you help Jonathan fight it off to the best of your ability, but you both end up getting thrown around the room.
Thank whatever supernatural being put El on this earth, because you all would have died without her.
Fast forward to you all going to Starcourt Mall
You help Eleven walk because she's injured, and since Steve isn't here, you're mom now.
Apparently everyone was somehow already on to fishy stuff happening? But what do Russians have to do with anything?
You're so worried about El, that bite looks bad. Like, infected bad, but it can't have been more than an hour or two since she got it, so it can't have progressed that quick.
You know something isn't right.
And you are proven correct when you see something wriggling around in the wound.
Props to El, for being so strong when Johnathan tried to remove that nasty thing, and then removing it herself.
They would have had to knock you the fuck out first if that were you- all the nope.
You all know what happens.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Part 8 will hopefully be the end. Idk we'll see, maybe I will get carried away and make it too long and then their will be 9 lol.
Like I did with this imagine. It was only supposed to be one part, but here we are going on 8.
I apologize for this part following season 3 so closely. As you all can tell I like to at least try and make my own content so it doesn't just feel like you're reading the show, and I think my struggles reflect on this part a bit. I have seen season 3 at least 4 times now because I was trying to find a way do this without just basically rewriting the season with the reader patched into it, but it was either this, have the reader just kinda loose contact with Billy and then find out he's "dead" (my denial is showing), or have reader become one of the flayed (let's be honest, not much would probably go on there). Plus this option has the most angst I feel.
Hope y'all are ready for the angst in the next part.

Onesie Pyjamas- Logicality
My Masterlist | My Wattpad
A/N: I wrote this in like, November, but whatever. Take it, Tumblr *yeets fic at y'all* Also sorry that the paragraphs are weird (/too long?), I had to merge them bc tumblr was having a hissy fit.
Summary: Patton bought Logan a onesie, and is sure that he'll never wear it. Spoilers- the boi is wrong. Someday I'll learn how to write these summaries?
Patton remembered all those Christmas-es ago when Logan had opened his gift to him. He'd remained relatively expressionless, but Patton could've sworn he'd seen a glint in his eye and a tinge of red on his cheeks. Logan had pulled the white unicorn onesie out of its packaging and examined it front-and-back before folding it neatly on the sofa beside him and nudding curtly in a brief thanks. Patton was used to his friend's seemingly emotionless behaviour, but he had to admit he'd felt a pang of sadness seeing Logan's attitude to the onesie gift. He sat there, remembering the moment, relishing in the details of Logic's initial reaction. Patton knew he would do anything to see Logan wearing the onesie. Anything, that was, other than force him, of course. He'd never do such a thing. However, some time had passed since that Christmas, and Patton hadn't seen Logan in the pyjamas once. Not once. Part of him was slightly tempted to go into his room and steal it for himself, but that would be immoral: against his name and his nature.
~
As Thomas' mind started to relax into the night, Logan knew he wouldn't be needed a great deal for the rest of the evening and decided to take a break. He strolled over to his extensive collection of novels packed into a functional brown bookcase that strenched over the entire width of the left wall in his room and slid a newly finished book into the gap that it had parted from a day or two prior. Pondering over the selection for a few moments, the intellectual trait took his time in deciding which of the hardbacks would be his next read. Once a particularly intriguing title took his fancy, he swiftly yet cautiously swiped it from its place in the collection. Without even a snap of the fingers necessary, Logan was changed into a more comfortable outfit. Although he never would've suspected it and certainly would never admit to his defeat, he did find the unicorn onesie rather comforting and found that it was particularly effective in helping him recede into a calm and collected state of mind. He was sat, cross-legged, on his neatly-made bed, already captivated by the novel he had chosen for himself, and not even distracted by the white horn that was hanging just within his feild of vision. So captivated, it seemed, that Logan was initially oblivious to the light rapping on his door, and to the sound of it gently swinging ajar.
"Logan! I've brought you a little somethi-" Upon seeing the logical trait, Patton stopped in his tracks, "-oh." At the sound of the voice coming from his doorway, Logan, in a slight frenzy, shut his book with a slam and pulled at his duvet in a feeble attempt to cover himself up.
"It's not what it looks like." Logic stated boldly from under the sheets of his bed. Patton was now stood in the doorway, holding a mahogany kitchen-tray that withheld two small, white crockery plates, each supporting a wholemeal bread sandwhich. When Logan had calmed down enough to revert into his everyday wear, he dared to peer over his duvet, spotting a distinctive red jar placed directly between the two sandwhiches. Sheepishly emerging from his place of hiding, Logan gave a slight smile at his friend who was currently walking calmly towards him and placing the tray onto his bedside table.
"I'm sure it's not, Logie. I'm just glad to see you happy in those pyjamas!" Blushing a little at the nickname, Logan shook his head stubbornly.
"I was just... testing to see if it would fit." Patton giggled and sat cross-legged on the far end of his bed.
"I think I know our size, Logan." After about ten straight minutes of two personality traits sitting and eating in comfortable silence (and Logan spreading excessive amounts of extra Crofters Jelly onto his sandwhich), Patton spoke up.
"Y'know, nobody's gonna think any different of you if you wanna wear your onesie. I mean, I may have one or two things to say if you were to spill any of that Crofters over it..." he smirked which earned him a half-hearted chuckle and a roll of the eyes, then continued, "all that said, it suits you." They sat silently again, happily munching the last of the crusts. With a gasp and an excited clasp of his hands, Patton noticed that Logan had once again changed clothing.
"There you go." Announced an underenthusiastic voice. "Are you satisfied?" In response, Morality thought of only one option. Surprising his friend, he dived to the top end of the bed and landed on him, wrapping his arms around his shoulders.
"IT'S SOO CUDDLY!" Patton yelled excitedly. Flustered and humiliated, Logan slid from out of his grip and stepped off the bed. Patton grinned wildly as he saw quite how red his friend looked.
Somehow, Logan managed to pursuade Patton to keep his lips sealed about the onesie incident. The days swooped by, and soon it was Christmas again. Roman had bought everybody else CDs and flowers, including a particularly extravagant bouquet of roses for a certain anxious trait. Said trait had taken his time to buy meaningful gifts for the other three sides, including a cuddly Labrador toy, an advanced personalised puzzle kit and a Disney-themed trinket-box with an unseen message inside that succeeded to make the recipient Prince blush profusely. Patton got a cute gift for everybody, like he always did, but he decided it was best if he avoided anything too humiliating for Logan this time. Logan returned the favour, giving a practical gift to each of his fellow personality facets.
The day went by with an essence of joviality held in the air. Thomas was with his family, and definitely at a time of self-peace, meaning all his sides refrained from fighting. Well, his four main traits. Who's to say if 'the others' were getting on just as well? Patton was fully satisfied with his jam-packed day of laughter and chatter and was ready to get some well-deserved rest. He skipped a little as he happily swung open the door to his room. Shutting the door behind him, he sighed with a slight smile as he looked around his familar bedroom, filled will every memory and treasure that Thomas reserved a place for in his heart. Before he had the chance to do anything else with his time, Patton spotted a neatly hand-wrapped parcel the size of his forearm lying in front of him on his floor. It was a neat square with resourceful brown paper packaging. He knew almost immediately who it would be from, but was unsure to what it was or why it was there, at that moment. Slowly, he pulled the package from the ground and cradled it gently for a moment, searching for a note or an explanation on the front. There was a small tag, with writing in a hand not dissimilar to Thomas' (just a little more refined) that read:
"Dear Patton,
Might you require this in the near future, I would suggest that you take a look in preparation.
Regards, Logan."
Upon reading this, the recipient's chest felt tight, yet he felt an odd fluttery feeling in his stomach. He quickly regained himself and grinned as he excitedly ripped open the paper. Patton gasped audibly as he pulled out the grey material.
A little later on, and Patton was cocooned in his sheets, dressed in his newly acquired cat onesie. It was a dark shade of grey with little cute pink paws at the ends of the sleeves. Patton simply adored it. Suddenly, there was a knock at his door. The intellectual trait strolled into the room and had to shut the door with his elbow, as his arms were busy with a pile of snacks and DVDs (some of which, Roman had supplied). Logan, who was dressed in his unicorn onesie, flinched a little when he heard a high pitched squeal coming from the opposite side of the room.
"I take it that din was one of appreciation, rather than of horror?" Logan raised his eyebrow slightly in question.
"OF COURSE, LOGIE!" Patton squeed over-excitedly. He jumped off his bed and hopped towards Logan, who braced himself for a slight koala hug by setting down the snacks, but all he felt was Patton giving him a small peck on the cheek and the blood that rushed to said cheeks. Patton took a couple of steps backwards in embarrassment, and he seemed almost surprised at his own actions.
"Sorry, I-" he stopped when he saw a slow growing smile on Logan's face. It was subtle and hesitant, but a thing of rare beauty to Patton.
Time was now beyond hours of sanity and equilibrium. Nothing stirred, yet everything quaked. Even Thomas was nearly asleep. In Patton's room, a slim baby-blue laptop covered with different stickers was resting at the head of the bed and was playing Disney's "Brave" from the DVD Drive. A slightly tangled pair of cheap grey earplugs was plugged into its side as well as a sleek and efficient pair of deep blue headphones. Logan and Patton were laid on their stomachs, chins rested on palms, in their assigned onesie pyjamas, watching contentedly in the otherwise dark room. The intellectual trait peered over and smiled fondly as he saw the moral trait swinging his legs in the air excitedly as the movie reached its epic finale. Logan noticed, at this point, how close to him Patton had shuffled over. He also noticed that at some point he must've stretched his left arm outwards because he found that it was resting on Patton's shoulder. When the end credits started to roll down the screen, Patton saw Logan sliding off his headphones and decided to follow suit with his plugs.
"Did you enjoy the movie?" Logan enquired politely in order to disrupt recently attained silence.
"It was GLORIOUS, as per usual!" Responded Patton in a slight imitation of Logan's speech, earning him a sarcastic eye-roll and even what he thought was a chuckle from the fellow facet. When the laptop was shut, the room plunged into what would've been darkness if it wasn't a room of pure hope and joy. The glimmer that the air seemed to hold within itself in Patton's room managed to restore a sufficient amount of their vision, but it was as dark as the room would go.
Logan's arm returned to its spot on Patton's shoulders as they sat up on the bed. He found himself mindlessly meddling with the cat ears on the hood of the other onesie, and soon he felt Patton's head nuzzling into his chest and under his arm, as if he were an actual cat.
Logan looked over at the clock and frowned. He could feel the effects of Patton's room getting to him, and it was clouding his logical thinking.
"What's up, Logan?" Logan noticed the Moral trait had made himself comfortable in his arms and couldn't help but smile fondly.
"I cannot stay, I'm afraid."
They had one last drawn-out hug before his unfortunate departure.
[Epilogue]
Today was a good day, thought Virgil that next Tuesday. He had accomplished all that he had needed to, no more, no less. Keeping Thomas safe but not being too much of a burden. He was satisfied with that.
He ended that day how he tended to end any other day: laying in bed and scrolling through tumblr. Or at least, he intended to. He soon discovered something drastic. The realisation hit him with force, and he almost gasped when he saw the sight:
The WiFi was down.
He knew exactly where to go. Panicked, he stumbled towards Patton's room, in a clumsy frenzy.
He stopped.
Patton's door was open a crack, so Virgil decided to silently peer around the edge. Still unnoticed, he let out a low chuckle at what he saw. By the time the anxious trait had looked in, the two traits in the room were standing in childish onesies of some sort, connected at the lips. Virgil smiled and shook his head fondly before stepping back towards the corridor, assuming Patton hadn't been the one to take the WiFi down, and probably wasn't in the mood to fix it.

Tomoko Nozama (Kamen Rider Fourze) vs. Chloe Bourgeois (Miraculous Ladybug)
Y'all Hate Kids: Screwed By The Writers
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda below the cut
-
Tomoko Nozama (Kamen Rider Fourze)
She's a goth kid interested in the occult with the ability to sense the monsters even before they transform into human form, which is never explained or elaborated on in any way. Which might've been fine, were it not for the writers seeming to forget about her completely and not give her any arcs of her own except setting her up as the romance option for the secondary Rider for no reason with no preamble. But no, what makes this EXTRA egregious is the fact that every one of the main cast is introduced with their own mini-arc (including her) and there's a bit of a reprise of these towards the end of the show, with everybody getting a few eps focused on them. EXCEPT Tomoko doesn't get that; she just gets half an episode with a bit of focus on her that leads into the main villain and the final wrapup. And she was the character MOST poised to get another arc too as her background was never really explored in the same way others were. I just feel like she bled into the background a lot which is unfortunate considering her ability and the fact it's a fate shared by a lot of Kamen Rider ladies
Chloe Bourgeois (Miraculous Ladybug)
Cw: abuse, neglect; spoilers
haven't been in the fandom in a while so my memory is a bit fuzzy but the writers hate her sooooo bad it's not even funny. she started having a redemption arc where she realized the error of her ways and started working on herself as a person bc she wanted to be a hero and then did a 180° by siding with the villain. writer called her irredeemable multiple times on twitter despite the fact that she's just a spoiled bratty teenager who was also emotionally abused by her mother. her dad gets victimized despite the fact that he was complacent in the abuse and never tried to help her be a better person. overrall what the hell were you guys THINKING!!!
-
SHE HAD SO MUCH GOING FOR HER....
I'm sorry if this sounds like like a 2010's YouTube cartoon reviewer ass rant but oh my lord ,,,Chloe I could've saved you
-
i havent watched nor caught up in a while, but from what i remember: she started out as a typical 1-dimensional mean girl, but then they gave her a surprising amount of depth?? like she got to be queen bee, learn responsibility as a superhero, she even is one of only a couple characters we know of to actually fight off hawkmoth's power. they were going to really interesting places with her character, and we were all excited for her redemption arc.
...and then they made her a flat villain again, taking away all of her complexity and development, and instead gave the powers and depth to a new sister of hers that suddenly arrived out of nowhere instead. what

Alright y'all I wrote it. Sorry for any grammar mistakes I wrote this in under an hour while still being in a class oops
Also I'm on mobile so I can't do the "keep reading" thingy so I'm sorry for the long ass post
"Catra!"
Finally, Glimmer found her in The Whispering Woods. The person who helped advance this insane war. The person who has traumatized Adora and the whole of Bright Moon.
The person who killed her mother.
"Awww, hey there, Sparkles," Catra smirked, purposely taunting her. Around them, the Horde soldiers and the princesses all fought, creating various sounds across the woods. "How's all your friends? What about your shiny new place? I mean, it must be new to you, being queen and all. Y'know, since I killed your m-"
Glimmer had heard enough. She screamed, attacking her opponent viciously with her power. For the most part, Catra dodged them with ease, but a stray ball of glittery power hit her back, knocking her down. Angry, she turned, trying to sit up, only to find she couldn't.
Glimmer was holding the evil Horde soldier down with her foot, prepared to strike a killing blow. She smirked, realizing how terrified Catra truly looked when faced with the inevitable. The Queen laughed, relishing in Catra's horror. She picked Catra up by her shirt and threw her into a nearby tree. The cat woman didn't have any time to react, since Glimmer shouted and unleashed her power onto the villain. However, right before it hit her, a giant sword came into view, protecting Catra. Both women were surprised to see Adora as She-Ra, looking absolutely furious.
The ball of magic didn't fade away like the rest of Glimmer's powers. She created it especially to kill Catra. Adora struggled, grunting while trying to deflect the power away from them. Finally, she got the upper hand, and flung her sword a different direction, ultimately flinging the ball into the ground. It left a large hole, with the ground looking as if it were to catch fire any second.
The three women stood, facing each other in disbelief. Even Catra was shocked and didn't dare move. She's seen Adora mad before but this... this was something entirely different.
"Adora, what was that?" Glimmer shrieked. "Whose side are you on? She killed my mom, Adora!"
"Agh, are you seriously doing this?" Adora screamed back. "Do you think this is what Angella would have wanted? Why can't you see that Shadow Weaver's just manipulating you?"
They continued arguing, with Catra off to the side, squinting at them suspiciously. Her eyes dodged around, looking for a way out without being in their line of sight.
Suddenly though, Glimmer grabbed her hair in frustration, stomping over to Catra.
"Glimmer!" Adora yelled. The Queen didn't turn back; instead, she fired another killing blow at Catra, knowing what she'll become for killing somebody, Horde soldier or not.
"No!" Adora screamed. She ran and jumped in front of Catra, in the process reverting from She-Ra to regular, ex-Horde soldier Adora, taking the hit for herself.
"Adora!" Both Catra and Glimmer screamed. They glared at each other in absolute fury.
"You did this!" Glimmer growled.
"What?" Catra hissed. "You're the one who threw the magic!"
"You caused this!" Glimmer screeched.
"Oh yeah? Well, I'm not the one who-"
"Cat...Catra..." Adora whimpered, weakly reaching up to her.
"This... this wasn't what I wanted." Catra murmured, and Glimmer was surprised to see her eyes glossy. "I wanted to stop you from being She-Ra. I wanted things back to the way they were. I just wanted you home."
"I... know..." Adora smiled. "Glimmer, this... this new killing blow magic? It isn't-" She cut herself off with a harsh coughing fit, worrying both uninjured women. "It isn't right. We need to stop the Horde, not... not kill them."
"I-I..." Glimmer stuttered, looking over at Catra. She sighed in defeat. "You're right. Killing Catra won't bring my mom back."
"We can win. We can... defeat the Horde. But not this way." Adora pleaded. "Listen to me. If we... kill Horde soldiers, we are no better than them."
Catra looked between the two princesses, truly not knowing what to do now. She shook her head, finally standing up and away from the princesses.
"Catra...?" Adora whispered, barely reaching for her.
"Take her back to Bright Moon. Let her rest and heal up." Catra murmured. "We'll fall back. And then I'll... I'll..." She trailed off, glancing over at Glimmer. "I'll meet up with you."
"Oh no you don't." Glimmer began. "I'm not falling for your tricks. You aren't coming into Bright Moon, and if you do I will kill you."
"You don't understand." Catra barely said, gazing down at the ground. She held her arms and wrapped her tail around herself, something she always did to comfort herself when no one else would. "I've realized it now. Even through everything I... I can't just kill She-Ra. I... can't kill Adora. I still care for her, y'know? If she's gone I truly won't have anything left. I'll be all alone. So... I've decided."
"Decided what?" Glimmer asked.
Catra just smirked at her playfully. "You're going to pretend to throw the killing blow at me. I'll fall and convince my raid to fall back. I'll get 'captured' by you, and taken to Bright Moon. And to top it all off, I'll give you all of Hordak's plans."
Glimmer stood, thinking it over. What would Angella do? Contemplating it, she didn't have time to answer before Catra took off.
"It's your choice, Sparkles!" Catra called back. "Let me join you, or I go back to the Horde, and I won't hesitate to follow any order Hordak gives me."
With that, she took off, leaving a very confused and concerned Glimmer and Adora.
consider THIS: Catra and Glimmer are fighting in the middle of a big battle and Glimmer gets the better of Catra and she’s about to strike the killing blow when Adora sees them and screams at Glimmer to wait and tears start streaming down Glimmer’s face “whose side are you on?! she killed my mom, Adora!” and Adora tries to convince her “do you think this is what Angella would’ve wanted?! why can’t you see Shadow Weaver’s just manipulating you?” and Catra kinda squints at them but doesnt say anything so they argue some more but Glimmer is past reason and she turns back intending to kill Catra, and magic shoots out from her fist but suddenly Adora jumps in front of Catra and takes the hit instead…
and as she falls to the ground Glimmer and Catra both frantically yell “Adora!!” at the same time, then they GLARE at each other and-

Elizabeth Afton (Five Nights at Freddy's)
"Okay. So. This poor child was apparently neglected, left to die, potentially took her own life (depends upon the theory you subscribe to) all because she wanted to feel like her father cared about her for once in her life. And the fanbase saw this and said ""she is a whiny, spoiled brat who deserved to die, and also would deserve to be a victim of sexual abuse.""
She is 7-10 years old.
I say apparently because FNaF is really vague. All of this should be taken with a small grain of salt, because Elizabeth/Circus Baby is a purposefully-cryptic character. But from my (very intense) deductions, this is her story.
Elizabeth was likely neglected and ignored by her father, who prioritized his animatronics over her well-being. (souce FNaF SL pre-night voicelines.)
Her father, William Afton, cared about her in theory, but not in practice, and while he ignored her to a harmful degree, he also modeled an animatronic after her: Circus Baby. However, while the general fanbase treats this as a sign that he sees her as the favorite, it's actually the opposite. He built an animatronic designed to *harvest other people's souls* in his daughter's image, as a replacement for her.
Over and over, she asks for his attention, wondering if she can spend any time with him or see what he's been making. He never replies, and she is only treated with silence. He knows this animatronic has the potential to kill her, but what does he do to keep it from hurting her? Not let her see it. That's it. Really some 10/10 parenting (read: neglect.)
Usually, Elizabeth is naturally curious of Circus Baby, sneaks in to see her, and is murdered by the machine. Her father's only reaction is to hide Baby, so nobody has to know what happened. However, due to the vague nature of FNaF lore, it is also possible that Elizabeth knew Baby was capable of harming her, and purposefully sought her out in an attempt to end her own life. (NOTE: like most things, this is not 100% confirmed. If you choose not to believe this is canon, feel free to skip over to the next piece of propaganda.)
The Lizzie/Baby combination created by her demise is so desperate for any attention or love that the tries to escape the facility where she's being held in the only way she knows how to do: following in her father's footsteps and taking a life. However, it's not until the last minute that she realizes she's murdered her brother. She manages to escape, via crawling into his body (long story) but has to separate herself from his body and literally *crawl into the sewers* as a mass of broken robot parts and wires. Still, she carries on, and in one last attempt to win her father's love, she reassembles herself out of literal garbage and old animatronic-related junk. She tries, one final time, to reach her father, but it's too late. By now, he's been dead for years, transformed into Scraptrap, which, if you didn't know, is an ugly, moldy fursuit shell, barely reminiscent of what it used to be. She sticks around for one last week, as an antagonist alongside the rotten remains of her surviving(?) family, all because she wanted to be loved. All because she wanted the basic respect she deserved. All because she was a sad little girl who wanted her father to care if she lived or died.
And what reward does the get for this?
She's taunted by Henry, her father's business partner, trapped in a burning building, melted to death in a fire, and sent to the FNaF equivalent of Hell.
She's not supposed to be a good guy, and she's definitely not a hero, but Elizabeth might've been seven years old when she died. And if you look at a lonely little girl who just wants to be treated like a person, who is forced to become a monster if she wants to survive, and you say ""she deserves to be abused,"" y'all just hate kids. "
-
She is literally a baby. So what if she was forced via circumstance to kill that guy. Maybe if her dad didn't abandon her she would've turned out better. The fandom acts like she's the antichrist but there are other characters who get off scott free for doing waaaaay worse.
