BNHA Chapter 321: DekuBowl Part 2: Iida's Revenge

A few notes before I jump in: 1) I may have come to terms with Sasuke Deku's...reason for existing, but I still find him irritating so I'm still mentally complaining about him being a dick to his friends.

2) I'm still gonna write this like a goofy Harem anime because I'm sick of the dark doom and gloom and I need to have some fun.

OK on to the review!

Ooh Kirishima's being denied the opportunity to offer his Deku Proposal. Kirideku shippers, prepare to be salty.

Also is Kiri jumping on the TodoBakuMomo train? That's my headcanon anyway

OK it's Uraraka's turn! Deku's official love interest is now going to propose to him. Is he going to respond?

LOL nope. Like completely ghosts her. I think she's done with him personally. Just sick of all this. Not even gonna bother proposing.

OOH WILD KACCHAKO FEELS! And OMG THIS CHAPTER HAS HER AND BAKUGOU TEAM UP!!!! I'VE WANTED THIS TEAM UP FOR SO LONG YOU GUYS DON'T EVEN KNOW I MEAN I DIDN'T WANT IT UNDER THESE STUPID CIRCUMSTANCES BUT YEEEESSS BAKURAKA TEAMUP

Oh speaking of Kacchan, he's apparently saving his proposal for the finale, since he's the main one anyway.

So Iida apparently woke up this year and decided he was sick of being in the background and wanted to walk off with the complete Wonder Duo OT3 package. Decided to steal them back from Todoroki.

In all seriousness, I'm glad Iida got to say this. This line from the Stain arc is something that NEEDED a payoff. And I'm really hoping Deku FINALLY listens to his bestie. IIDA IF THIS FINALLY GETS THROUGH TO HIM I SWEAR MY FEALTY TO YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS.

(and of course I'm still waiting on Kacchan's proposal friendship speech too, but I'm guessing he's waiting on it so he can save it for the series finale. OH BOY MY HEART WILL EXPLODE)

Mysterylover reads MHA Chapter 320: "DekuBowl Round 1"

(Kacchan is the automatic winner BTW but we already knew that.)

OK since I'm sick of how dark things are and of ranting about Sasuke Deku for the next few chapters I'm going to do something fun instead. I've decided that MHA is now a Bi Harem show like Hamefura, since this arc appears to be about all 19 members of Class A individually proposing to Deku. So that's what this review will be about.

(Just assume that offscreen every single thing Deku says in this chapter is driving me further and further insane with rage)

So DekuBowl first contender: Koji Koda! not much has happened between them but hey he cares about Deku too so he's throwing his hat into the ring!

Then Hanta Sero! A rarepair to be sure but still a solid contender!

My rarepair guilty pleasure OTP DekuJirou steps up to bat! That was a sweet moment, Jirou. Make him remember it!

Another rare but much treasured pair, Mashirao Ojiro! Capitalizing on that one moment in the Sports Fest when these two hung out.

Ooh, Rikido Sato! Total power move ri ght there, Eri's candy apple!

DekuMomo! Sure been a while since we saw these two. Momo doesn't propose directly but it seems she's just gonna haul his ass home with her.

KamiDeku! Anotehr one that's something of a rarepair but definitely worth checking out, man! Also Kaminari has most of hte best lines this chapter.

TokoDeku, another one that we don't see enough of. Remember the Sports Fest, back when this series made sense and was epic?

OOH, TODODEKU!!!! The second biggest Deku ship of all time (according to AO3.) (also as an aside Deku if you hurt Shoto here I swear to god I will cancel you. Kacchan's OK he can take it but Shoto, man? DON'T YOU. DARE.)

And finally Deku's other big het ship, Midotsuyu! (besides Ochako I mean). We ended on a big Tsu moment this chapter!

So that was DekuBowl round 1! Let's see, who's left? Kirishima and Mina, Aoyama, Hagakure, Mineta, and then the Big 3 Iida, Ochako and Kacchan. Who gets your vote? (lol we all know mine). Or are we headed for the BiHarem ending? We'll just have to wait and see
