ohhh i'm so angry at the l2d tutorial that said "the more points your mesh has the better! :)" because not only is that Not True, but it just adds so fucking much unnecessary bulk lmao.
#my poor little shit brick can't handle all those points.#it doesn't MATTER because you use WARP DEFORMERS for EVERYTHING and the Warp Deformers Dont CARE about the meshes!!!!!#the warp deformers barely affect the meshes themselves!!!!! the meshes are just fucking. frames to put the art in.#the warp deformers use Their OWN meshes.#horrible horrible misinformation. i have so fucking much re-meshing to do. and so many parameters to fix.#especially awful for me. a man who has every single information processing issue.#if the blinking and the eye light wiggles weren't so good i would just start from scratch. there are a Few things i can probably salvage.#i'm so fucking irritated. i've wasted so much time dreading this project. only to find out that i've been doing it wrong the entire time.#the only thing saving me from falling into a pit of dispair is the fact that i've been drawing again.
