S&S D Chapter 20 thoughts:

1. It’s nice to get to know more about Juliana's Pokemon team. I cannot believe both Juliana and Nemona both take on 2 Elite 4 members in one day. That's gotta be quite the feat. But then again they've both faced the Elite 4 and the Champion of Paldea before so they do have plenty of experience with the League system. =O

2. Penny, you're the iconic MVP of the Toxic Chain Investigation rn 😂🤣😂🤣 and the conversation between Kieran and Crispin is so wholesome. Look at how far they've come 🥹🥹🥹

3. Looks like the rest of the Elite 4 is going to be filled in about what Ms. Briar is up to even without the Pecharunt part. Let the "Operation Save Ribombee" commence XD

(Ngl something tells me that Ms. Briar took the Ribombee with her or something. And as for where she might be going on her leave, my guess is either Paldea or Kitakami.)

4. Not the "Who's that Pokemon" game 😭😭😭 but at least there is some interesting bits about it

5. Ngl I came to the same conclusion as one of the ao3 comments while I'm in the middle of searching through the letters. The "Peach is coming" message is so ominous. Don't tell me Pecharunt is planning on doing something to poor Juliana...

Based on your recent post about Chapter 21, looks like we're in for a HUGE ride down the rollercoaster. The suspense is keeping me at the edge of my seat.

We wanna pretend it was Nemona that pushed it but we all know somebody's emotion-ridden and is using battles to cope xD

I find it amazing that it took me so long to figure out the Paldean squad roles when I was working toward integrating them into the story. Now I can't unsee their specific roles. Penny is very very useful for just about anything. If other characters aren't capable of something without being too ooc, she usually is perfectly within character. xD

SPEAKING OF PLOT RELEVANCE LOL and I'm totally not laughing in knowing the whereabouts of Ribombee

LOL OKAY. I was trying to think of a sweet game for them to play for the story atmosphere/relational foreshadowing. Even looked into potential cultural ones that would fit Spain, but I wanted certain gestures to occur and it was hard to find a fit. So then I was like "Alright, what's a good callout to something pokemon fans would know in general". That was the first thing that came to mind. xDD
