update: more episodes of rick and morty have started and finished anddddddd it is now about to be 3am when i definitely said i would put the game down (aka when i went to ramble this post out) around midnight so ^^;

i guess that's what i get for doing a side quest i was too underleveled to do and then going through my inventory and needing to gather raw materials/cook in order to stock back up u.u

i downloaded genshin impact (mobile) and ah someone save me from what i think i will become...

i haven't played an open world game since i was like 15 and i think i'm about to become such a fixated unproductivity monster oh my

these visuals! are! unimaginable!!!! esp considering that i'm playing this on my small phone screen and my v nearsighted (and astigmatic) eyes can make out everything from the sparkling trail left by butterflies to item drops while my ears are graced by such a whimsical and peaceful soundtrack.

it's been maybe 2 hours (i think bc it's been a few rick and morty episodes in the background now lol) since i downloaded this and it's already past the start of my "sleep window" to reset my sleep cycle bc #insomniathings i'm cackling

it's actually really nice to just do something mindless and still get such fulfillment versus me trying to figure out what to do to fill my time and becoming a jaded hipster since i'm not actively interested in my usual go-tos rn lol.

i've fiddled w amber and i think this girl is adorable (red is my irl trademark + i love strong confident women) but this aim fn isn't it so i'll stick w my mossball-named traveler with her sword for now <3

tl;dr marimo is super happy rn bc this is a lot of fun but also big u.u bc i really need to be prepping this senior thesis aHA
