Random ask! How would you have reacted if Rei and Minako did the fake betrayal instead of Haruka and Michiru in Stars?
Wow, I sure hope you wanted 2300 words on this. SORRY EVERYONE
First of all: REI HINO: BETRAYER??? YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH
Which is also approximately Usagi’s reaction as well. It rather makes an already difficult situation even more difficult, as Usagi keeps VERY LOUDLY AND PUBLICLY (Usagi, not in front of Galaxia, Usagi please) protesting that Rei would never NEVER EVER WOULD NEVER turn traitor.
There are an assortment of amazing ways this could go (I have seven I love and I’m barely trying), but in the spirit of the Ask, I’ll pick the one that I think would give me the most FEELS right in my Jet Wolfian heartspace.
Come, friends. Come with me.
To set the stage, I’m going to be an utter shit and have Galaxia already have killed Ami, Mako, Pluto, and Hotaru. I LOVE YOU GIRLS I’M SO SORRY. For us to get to this point, Minako (and Rei, but it’s Minako’s idea) have to be desperate. Utterly fucking “it’s this or the entire universe is destroyed” levels of desperate, and I just don’t think they’d ever go there if their forces weren’t at least halved, including their team’s literal personifications of Time and Destruction. Which is the point I think where Minako would be forced to admit they can’t win this the usual way.
To further aid in selling this, I would’ve folded Pluto and Hotaru more into the season leading up to this fight. Well, I would’ve done that anyway so their deaths actually mattered to both the audience and the characters, but that’s a separate thing. I would’ve given Pluto and Hotaru (and Haruka and Michiru) new attacks that helped reframe their place as a powerhouse, affirmed that power (and its consequences, because there would be, particularly for Hotaru) over the course of the season, and then had those powers unleashed on Galaxia (possibly combined) because things are just That Dire, then have Galaxia “meh” and totally obliterate them.
“Oh, we are FUCKED,” Minako realizes.
I’m not sure if I would or wouldn’t include the audience in the fact Minako Has A Plan, though right here, right now, I think probably. While I’m going to play a bit fast and loose (FOR ME) in this hypothetical scenario, the series to this point hasn’t even remotely set the stage for a believable heel turn by Minako, and it’s spent all five goddamn seasons doing the exact opposite for Rei. Building and reinforcing Rei and Usagi’s friendship has been one of the show’s major points since literally EPISODE TEN, and by the time we get to 195-ish, we’re waaaaay too far to try and use this as a dramatic fake-out cheering moment for the audience. Without adequate time to build it up (which, unless done with amazing deftness, I think would just tip your hand and/or suck out the feeling of impulse desperation that I think is an essential core of the plan in the first place), I think it more likely it’ll feel insulting to the audience that they were ever supposed to believe it.
So let’s not even try. We don’t have to directly TELL the audience, but show enough clues that they can easily piece it together. Let the audience tension come from the fear of Galaxia figuring it out, or Usagi ruining the whole thing.
Back to the set-up. Pluto and Hotaru are the first to go. By this point in the series, shit is serious, we’re not here to chat nicely to Galaxia and try to talk her down. None of this team separation shit, the Senshi go in as a unit, full force, most of them distractions and wearing her down while Big Guns Pluto and Hotaru do their thing and fucking end this.
Oops.
Now down their Big Guns, the Senshi need new plans. They run and regroup, and this could perhaps be a great time to start dropping those clues. You could even have it be background, the girls arguing and debating what to do next, Minako hinting or proposing (frontal assault didn’t work, it’s time to get sneaky), have Rei and possibly Mako heavily protesting, etc. etc., but what the camera and audience are actually focused on is Usagi grieving Pluto and Hotaru.
Attack, Phase Two. The specifics of the attack itself aren’t overly important as it’s going to fail. Maybe the– Oo! Maybe the Senshi DO want Usagi to try to talk Galaxia down, AND I FUCKING LOVE THE IDEA OF USAGI REFUSING. There’s been so much death, LITERALLY ACROSS THE ENTIRE GALAXY, and Usagi’s so caught up in her own grief and rage. She’s the Senshi of love, yes, but also JUSTICE, and holy fucking shit, to see Usagi starting to embrace the second half of her mantra is just HRRRN. To have her go through with it anyway, trying to convince Galaxia that it doesn’t have to be this way, convince her to lower her guard, while also knowing it’s all a ploy while the other Senshi flank her, wait for the right moment, and try to take her by surprise.
Of course it fails. But it extra deluxe fails with cheese. Haruka and Michriu manage to escape with Usagi, but the Inners are captured. Uasgi takes this REALLY WELL.
Galaxia, with the Inners bound and helpless, decides it’s time to play her favourite game: Corrupt A Senshi. She begins with Ami, believing she’s the weakest and thus the most cowardly. She offers Ami a chance to live, if she’ll only join Team Googlaxia. “GO BLEACH YOUR ROOTS CREEP”, Ami doesn’t say, but also effectively does. Galaxia shrugs and shoots Ami with her Braclets of Doom. The other Senshi are forced to watch as Ami slowly disintegrates into nothing.
MAKO LOSES HER SHIT. (She had the good fortune to go first at D Point, she’s never had to watch her friends die before.) Fuck, let’s give Mako a great moment where she busts out of her bindings and goes for Galaxia with her bear fucking hands. Galaxia ACTUALLY JUMPS, and shoots Mako reflexively as much as anything. She chukles a little after Mako fades away. That shouldn’t have been possible, but that’s what Galaxia loves about Earth, it always keeps things interesting.
Two down, two to go. Galaxia turns to the next Senshi in line: Rei. Before Galaxia can even ask, Rei opens her mouth to tell Galaxia to shove her offer up her ass. But before REI can say anything, Minako jumps in. “We accept.”
Rei is about to implode, explode, and a half dozen other -odes, but Minako continues. Galaxia’s proven she’s the most powerful. They’ve tried everything they can think of to stop her and didn’t even slow her down. She injects just enough truth to really sell it. She gave up EVERYTHING to fight for the Earth, to fight for Usagi, and for what? Minako’s spent her entire life choosing what’s best for other people, she’s going to finally choose what’s best for herself.
“We can’t win, Rei.”
Rei visibly struggles. She wants to argue, wants to deny it all, but can’t. Finally, she sags, and quietly agrees. Galaxia is DELIGHTED by Rei’s moral dilemma and how seemingly broken she is, as much as she is Minako’s apparent turn to self-interest. She’s watched this story play out from planet to planet to planet, but it’s always just a little different and it NEVER gets old. She shoots, and just before impact, Rei and Minako share a look. Rei, still with a spark of fire we perhaps foolishly thought extinguished. Minako, a confident smirk, ready to take the stage for the performance of her life.
Their mission is simple: bring Galaxia the remaining Senshi.
I INTERRUPT MYSELF TO NOTE THAT AT THIS POINT HOLLIGAY HAS CORRUPTED ME WITH BROTP MINAKO AND HARUKA AND I AM ABOUT TO INDULGE THIS
I’d devote an entire episode to Rei and Minako hunting down Usagi, Haruka, and Michiru. Keeping it all from their perspective, having them try to deal with what appears to be their best friends turning on them (Michiru maintaining a cooler head, you know, all “It will be difficult to debate morality from beyond the grave, so perhaps we should keep moving.”) As the pursuit wears on, and their conflicts become tighter and crueler and more difficult to escape, Haruka becomes convinced that Minako and Rei really have betrayed them.
OR AT LEAST SO SHE LOUDLY AND REPEATEDLY PROCLAIMS. There’s room to argue – you know, if you’re a Jet Wolf watching this with an eye to dig into literally every fertile spot of character meta – that Haruka’s convincing herself of what she’s increasingly afraid she’s going to have to do: kill Minako (and Rei but mostly Minako) to protect Usagi and thus the world. Not to mention that the shit Minako’s saying only digs DIRECTLY into Haruka’s own fears and self-hate, making it all that much easier to believe.
Meanwhile Usagi cannot, absolutely 10000000000000% DOES NOT, believe that Rei would betray her. She knows Rei, SHE KNOWS REI, and even while Rei is being hard and cruel and dragging up every little thing wrong with Usagi (and there’s so much and IT HURTS), Usagi’s faith doesn’t waver. She doesn’t know what’s wrong or why this is happening, but she knows Rei already knew all this shit wrong with her and loved her anyway. It’s just fact, the end.
GIVING ME ALL THE REI AND USAGI FRIENDSHIP FEELINGS I CAN STUFF IN MY GODDAMN PIEHOLE. With the added fun of, if you’re a Jet Wolf sopping every drop of this up with delicious freshly baked bread, the fact that Usagi pretty much only brings Minako into it as a logical conclusion to “Well if Rei’s not really evil then Minako isn’t either” showing how much less certain Usagi is, in her Senshi Heart, that the things Minako is saying aren’t maybe JUST A LITTLE TRUE. (Proving what Minako of course already knows, which is a lie is best buried in truth.)
So we have two extremely opposing, emotionally-charged, increasingly desperate views shared by Usagi and Haruka. With everything running high and the noose tightening, they functionally get into screaming matches about this, both insisting their view is right, both fueled in no small part by the fear that they’re wrong. Because if Rei has turned on Usagi, then one of the major truths of her life has been a lie. And if Minako HASN’T turned on Haruka, then she’s able to say and do all these things, so how much did she ever actually love her? Was that all a lie too?
OH HO HO HO
Pour one out for Michiru’s sanity, trying to keep all this moving. She’s probably at least a little relieved on some level when Rei and Minako do finally catch them. Maybe something like, Haruka, being incredibly Haruka about it, bellows that they HAVE to do this, and then legit tries to kill one of the others (Minako? Rei? I CAN’T DECIDE), and Usagi tackles her or something, throwing it off and anyway everything’s awful and amazing. Usagi and Haruka do in fact get captured and brought before Galaxia. (Michiru, slippery eel she is, escapes again.)
LOOK I’VE ALREADY BEEN LIKE FOUR HOURS WRITING THIS I HAVE TO WRAP UP
It’s really Usagi and Haruka’s reactions that sell this so wholeheartedly for Galaxia. It’s the most fun she’s had all invasion! She’s completely sold on the betrayal, at her absolute most vulnerable, and snuggles into her favourite beanbag with a bucket of popcorn to watch EVERY SECOND when she orders Rei and Minako to kill Usagi and Haruka.
When they attack her instead, she’s nearly as unprepared as she is unharmed.
WELL, SHIT.
Galaxia yanks away the life-support bracelets. SHE’S GETTING EXTENDED DRAMA FROM SOMEWEHRE BY GOD. As we get our tender friendship death scenes, please remember that Usagi and Haruka are still bound. THEY CAN’T EVEN GO TO REI AND MINAKO’S SIDES HAHAH AWESOME
Haruka is GUTTED. She never should’ve doubted Minako, no matter what mean things she said (Minako: I literally always call you an over-dramatic butch disaster. Haruka: BUT YOU SAID IT MEANLY). Minako’s being flippantly Minako about it, though more out of habit at this point than anything. She admits it was hard to be so cruel to Haruka, but was that some Oscar-worthy acting or what? She makes Haruka promise to spit in Galaxia’s face before she dies. Haruka will keep that promise.
Usagi is everywhere, emotionally. She was right and Rei never betrayed her! Usagi knew it! AND NOW REI’S DYING AND USAGI CAN’T GET TO HER AND REI CAN’T LEAVE SHE PROMISED TO NEVER LEAVE AND DIDN’T WE JUST PROVE THAT WAS TRUE HOW CAN IT BE A LIE NOW IT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS WHAT’S USAGI SUPPOSED TO DO WITHOUT REI. Rei fighting to hang on, telling Usagi that they didn’t come this far to lose faith now. The thing Rei wanted most for Usagi was to never give up, no matter what. Usagi just showed Rei she wouldn’t, even when Rei herself was the one telling her to. “No matter what happens, I’m so proud of you, Usagi.”
Then Rei and Minako are gone.
In the ensuing chaos, Michiru swoops in and saves Haruka and Usagi, BUT THAT’S ANOTHER EPISODE.

Chishiya × Reader
Warnings: swearing, violence, blood (it's Alice in Borderland, we're you expecting anything different?), abuse (none done by Chishiya towards you), harassment  (again, not done by Chishiya towards you), mentions of past scars (not sh)
"I don't want to hide, please I'm so tired of hiding!"
You had lived a life of pain. You didn't know why. All you knew was your father and mother were cruel. They constantly manipulated your emotions, guilting you for certain things, and punishments that weren't deserved. Because of this, you had grown up to be resilient and learned to not take that treatment from anyone. Although the scars and burns never healed, you used them as cautionary tales. So, when you got dragged into the games, and learned a bit more about the world, you learned a couple things. 1, you can't hide from death. 2, hide the feelings you have for people. 3, try not to get to close to anyone as they could leave you in the blink of an eye.
So, just like you used to hide back then, you hide now.
Eventually, you found a place called the Beach. A safe haven for all players of the game, as long as all rules were followed. You had a formed a sort of relationship with Chishiya. You craved the praise of someone who you thought was better, the soft touches that you never got, and he craved the control he got. He hadn't hurt you. And he wouldn't. You broke your rules for him, seeing maybe it wasn't so bad.
But soon the sweet praises and soft touches turned to cold glances, and silence. You felt broken. You had never been made of glass, but when he stopped talking to you, you shattered. You didn't know if you were even allowed to feel that way, as you and Chishiya had never established what you were. Friends with benefits? You thought he cared. But you assumed he didn't because of his recent treatment.
"No thank you. I'd rather not," you said when a boy came up to you, obviously drunk asking you to go back to his hotel room. "Come on, I can show you a good time~" he slurred, stumbling closer. "No. You're drunk, and you're really not my type," you repeated, taking the shot of tequila in front of you. Suddenly, he grabbed your arm. "Let me go, what  the fuck!" You shouted, trying to get away. No one batted an eye, this being a normal occurrence at the beach. You quickly and harshly kicked him in the stomach. He doubled over, throwing up on the floor. You took your chance and kicked him in the head repeatedly. "Learn some fucking respect, and maybe girls would like you!" You shouted, switching to kicking his stomach. Your got tugged into someone. "Calm down," you heard a voice say from behind you. You knew who it was. "Don't you think you can fucking tell me what to do. Go manipulate some other girl's feelings," you retorted, fighting against him. "I never did such a thing. And calm down," he whispered into your ear, tracing his hands down your arms. "Don't fucking touch me," you spat, breaking free from his grip. You walked out of the hotel bar, making a beeline to your room.
"Chishiya, stop following me. You're not getting anything, and I only had one shot, so you can't do anything," you said, knowing he followed you. "I just want to talk. And make sure you don't kill anyone," he said. You could hear his smirk, and even though he was behind you, you could see his eyes spark in joy at the thought of annoying you. "Talk about what?" You asked, walking towards your door. He followed as you got to your door. "I can't tell you out here. In private," he said. You sighed, turning to face him. "Fine. You come into my room, tell me what it is, and you leave after we talk," you said sternly, opening the door to your room. He walked in behind you, walking into the room as you closed the door.
"What do you want to talk about?" You asked, putting on a hoodie and sitting on your bed. "Well... I have a plan. And I thought you'd want to hear it," he said. You sighed, and nodded, telling him to go on.
"And that's the plan so far. And with the newcomer, he can be the perfect pawn for us to play with, my queen," Chishiya ended, grabbing your hands. You pulled them away from him. "That hurt," he said sarcastically. "Good. And don't call me that. You made it perfectly clear you don't love me or want anything to do with me,'' you stated. He looked at you in confusion. "What do you mean? I thought I was making it clear that you intrigued me, and I liked spending time with you? Obviously or else I wouldn't have done all those things with you," he said, getting closer. "Oh yeah, I totally could tell when you stopped any and all interaction with me right after it, and started glaring at me from halfway across the room," you said, anger becoming more apearant in your tone. He mentally made a note of not doing that to you anymore, and to note your trust issues (yes, I'm calling you out) "(Y/N), I didn't... I just remembered the rules I had set for myself. To not fall in love in the games, because I would only end up getting hurt, and to worry for only my own safety. You... you changed that, and I...  I got thrown off by it, ok?" He said, sitting next to you on the bed. It was true. Because after spending so much time with you, he started worrying about you and how your games were going. If you had gotten hurt, or worse died. It scared him to feel that much for another person as he was a pretty apathetic person. "I-if that's true then why didn't you just tell me?" You stuttered, feeling his body heat next to you. You refused to look over to him, feeling the bed shift besides you. "I already told you why... didn't you listen?" He whispered into your ear. You shivered at this, scooting away. "I-i said we would talk and nothing else," you said, trying to change the subject, reminding yourself what you had said more than anything. "Let me... take care of you... And show you how much I love you..." he cooed into your ear. His words were saccharine sweet, dripping like honey into your ear. "B-but then... then you'll leave me alone again," you whispered, scooting to the top of the bed, your shoulder against the headboard. Chishiya listened to you, looking at how you had curled yourself up next to the headboard. "You look so cute like this..." he said, curling up behind you. He wrapped his arms around you, and you flinched when he began tracing your scars. His hands worked up to the hem of your hoodie. You panicked, before remembering you still had your swimsuit on. "You must want something more. You're being to nice," you said, not pulling away or moving. A part of you wanted him to stay. To hold you and make you feel loved. But another part of you wanted him to leave. "I don't want anything. I just want you," he whispered into your ear. He pushed up the sleeves of your hoodie, and began kissing the scars that littered your skin. (I KISSED THE SCARS ON HER SKIN- Ok, I'll stop) He knew you hadn't done them to yourself. He knew what your parents had done, and had found it disgusting. Not the scars they had left, but the love they didn't give, and the actions they took. "You're so beautiful..." he mumbled against your skin. "Chishiya, if you're trying to get me to sleep with you, it's not going to work. If that's all you want then leave," you whispered back. "But I don't want that... Well, I do, but it's not all I want. I want to be with you," he said. You turned over to look at him. "You're serious about this?" You asked. He nodded. "Ok... I'll trust you. And I'll help you and Kuina with the plan," you answered. He smiled, and held you tightly. "Good. Only thing is, no one can know, ok? Just like before. My pretty little sercret," he whispered. You nodded, curling up into him, your face nuzzled into his chest. ((Y/N), you really switching up-) He knew you had bad nightmares about the past, and what the future could be. You had told him all about them. So, he knew you might wake up in the middle of the night.
You had woken up, looking around, finding your bed empty. The tears that had filled your eyes while you slept, had returned, rolling down your face. "I-i knew it... should've known better," you whimpered into the dark, quiet room. You let quiet cries excape your mouth as you held onto the blanket tightly. "(Y/N)?" You heard a voice asked tiredly. "C-chishiya?" You asked, drying your tears. "What's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?" He questioned, getting back in the bed with you. You nodded. "You had... you had left me alone. Again. And no matter where you were, you would ignore me, and then I woke up, and you weren't here andb i-i th-," you tried to explain your dream before crying harder. The feeling of misery and cold you had felt because of the dream was still present. You had become invisible to the person whom you loved most. "I'm not leaving you now, or ever. Ok? Never leaving you alone again."
(The touch starved in me is screaming-)
Time skip
Chishiya had been extremely strict with no one knowing of the relationship. You two would just look like friends. But he most certainly didn't let you hug, hold, or give him affection in front of people. "If we hide it, it's better for us. No one knows. Like... a game of hide and seek. Except no one knows how to seek for us because of how well we hide." His words lingered on your mind. You had felt like a child when he explained it to you in that way. Of course, Kuina was the only person who knew of the relationship. You were tired of hiding.
"Chishiya... I'm tired of hiding," you muttered to him. "(Y/N), just a bit longer. And then you won't be in danger, alright?" He said back.
The plan had been put into motion the day Hatter died. You flinched when Niragi kicked Arisu, and grabbed onto Chishiya's sleeve. He shook you off, giving you a warning tap on your arm. You knew what that meant. 'Don't do that, too many people.' You flinched, hearing Usagi scream for Arisu, it all becoming to much like the memories you had. You closed your eyes, trying to ignore it. You had to work your way down from a panic attack, ignoring the noise, ignoring the scene.
"Chishiya, please can we talk?" You whispered to him as you guys walked back to your room. "Once we're in private," he whispered back. "Oi, Chishiya, where'd you think you're going?" Niragi's voice called from behind you two. "No where. Do you need something?" Chishiya asked. You whined, thinking you were being quiet, when really it was audible to both men. "Yeah, (Y/N). She can come with me for a while, don't you think?" Niragi smirked, watching Chishiya for any shift of emotion. "We were actually going to go talk about something important, so no," Chishiya answered back, leading you away.
Later that night is when chaos ensued. The ten of hearts game. Chishiya had taken both you and Kuina up to the surveillance room. You watched as countless people died. You heard their screams and gun shots, and flinched. You held onto Chishiya tightly, hoping you survived. Soon, Kuina left, going to help someone.
"Chishiya, what do we do?" You asked, watching as he looked through the drawers of the room. "We aren't doing anything. I am going out there, and I'm going to try and burn the witch. You stay put, and hide," he said, looking around. The words you had been hearing your whole life. 'Hide.' You had begun to hate it. "I don't want to hide, please I'm so tired of hiding! I've had to hide my whole life from everything! I even had to hide our relationship, please don't make me hide again!" You yelled at him. He stared at you, before picking you up, and setting you on the desk. "For once in your life, listen to me!" He yelled back, a fear in his tone that was almost undetectable. You flinched at his voice being so loud. "I-im sorry, I didn't mean it like that... Just, stay put. I'll be back for you after I take out the biggest threat to us, which is Niragi. I have a suspicion on who the witch is. I promise I'll be back," Chishiya said, giving you a quick kiss to the forehead. You looked down, before nodding. "But you better come back for me. I won't hide forever you know."
I'm sorry it's so short! And I'm sorry if he's OOC, we are learning ok-

Part 25
(Misaki Kneeled in front of his parents grave, tightly holding Usagi's hand, even though his tie had just been fixed before they left they house, it was somehow already crooked. He had no idea what to say, should he start by apologizing that he hadn't been to visit in the last fourteen years? Or introduce Usagi first like it's just a normal conversation.)
Misaki: (lets out a long sigh, Usagi Squeezing his hand for encouragement). Uh, hey mom, dad. This feels weird, I know I never really came to visit, mostly because for the longest time I thought your death was my fault, a-a-and I know that sounds dumb but it's true, so I never came, I'm here today because I lot is happening. I'm graduating!, I'm also getting married, to this guy. He's the love of my life, if you guys we're alive I'd think you'd love him. (He smiled gently at Usagi), His name is Akihiko Usami, but I call him Usagi. He's amazing, the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm so lucky to have him, I want you to meet him.
Usagi: Um hi, I don't know how to introduce myself, should I say Usagi? (He ducked his head), No that sounds weird, I'm Usami. Misaki says he's the best thing that's ever happened to him, but truthfully, he saved me, I would not be this person without him. Before we met I was kinda an awful person, I never let anyone in, I was a mess, I almost died a few times, I never ate properly, I never really opened myself up to anyone, I had al these walls up, then Misaki came and I was this a different person. (he chuckled softly), Some might say softer. Misaki is the only person I've truly felt combatable with, he's my soulmate and best friend, the best person you could ever ask for, he's doing okay, he's happy, I'm so grateful for him.
Misaki: (softly), Usagi... (He wrapped his arms around the older man, leaning into him), I love you.
Usagi: I love you too. Thank you for bringing me here.
Misaki: Thank you for coming.
Usagi: You're parents would be so proud of you.
Misaki: How do you know?
Usagi: Because I'm so proud of you, how could they not be.
Misaki: Thank you.
(They stayed there for a while, in a silent embrace paying their respects, Misaki was happy he decied to come, he needed it. He was so grateful to have this man in his life, and really needed the support today.)
Monday March 16, 2020... six days before graduation.
(Misaki woke up feeling beside him, the space was empty, he was confused, usually this early in the morning Usagi would still be asleep, he rubbed his eyes, blinked a few times then gave his eyes a few seconds to adjust to the light, turning his head towards the alarm clock he realized it was only eight am, yeah Usagi should definitely still be asleep).
Misaki: Usagi?! (He called loudly, his voice was groggy from just waking up)
Usagi: Good morning, (He smirked entering the room with a tray of breakfast consisting of coffee, eggs, hash browns, and bacon).
Misaki: (Smirks): What's all this?
Usagi: (Sitting on the bed carefully placing the tray between them, he hands Misaki the cup of coffee and places a kiss on his cheek). I made you breakfast.
Misaki: You didn't have to do that. (He takes a sip of coffee, the warmth wakes up his body, he smirks, taking Usagi's hand), You're amazing.
Usagi: I know it's not a trinational bra-
Misaki: Stop it, I love it. (He smiles, taking a bit of everything), It's great.
Usagi: I'm glad you think so.
Misaki: So why are you up so early?
Usagi: A man can't wake up early to make breakfast for his fiancé?
Misaki: (Smirks, giving him a knowing look).
Usagi: Um, Isaka called last night after you went to sleep-
Misaki: How rude, Doesn't he know not to call in the middle of the night?
Usagi: I agree, but he's my boss.
Misaki: He's your friend, and as your friend he should know not too.
Usagi: He wanted to talk to you, but I told him you were asleep.
Misaki: Why does he want to talk to me?
Usagi: He wants to have a meeting with you today about us, and you being my assistant.
Misaki: Um, why now? I'm not starting until like the begging of may.
Usagi: I don't know, but he want's to meet at noon, so eat up.
Misaki: I'm supposed to tell you to do that. You're still recovering you know.
Usagi: So, feed me.
Misaki: (Smirks, feeds Usagi a piece of bacon, the older boy takes his hand lacing his fingers through his, pulling him into a kiss, knocking the food on the bed). Usagi!
Usagi: We can clean it up. (He pulls Misaki on top of him, running his hands through his hair, they kiss passionately), Hey, (he pulls away breathing heard, pushing hair out of Misaki's face, (wanna take this to the shower?
Misaki: I don't know Usagi... (He trailed off, he Missed having Usagi inside off him, he missed being inside of Usagi, but they only had six more days till they could have sex again, surely they could wait it out right?)
Usagi: I know we have six more days till we can have sex again but.. I can help you shower right? (He grinned kissing Misaki's neck, the younger boy moaned.)
Misaki: Um, do you really think it's a good idea to show up to a meeting with love bites on my neck?
Usagi: That's okay, I can put them other places.
Misaki: We can shower together, but maybe nothing that will cause a delay in getting ready?
Usagi: Fine, (He sat, gently pushing Misaki to stand), But you owe me.
Misaki: (Grins leaning down), We have three whole weeks alone once I graduate, that trip you planned, I know where it is by the way, not in Tokyo, we'll have plenty of time to do other things.
Usagi: (Wraps his arms around Misaki's neck), Good, and we are never leaving the bedroom.
Misaki: Okay. (Kisses Usagi, then pulls him up leading him to the bathroom), Now help me wash my hair, I love when you do it.
Usagi: No problem.
(Misaki Stood outside Isaka's door he was nervous, he kept messing with his tie, it was crooked again. Usagi glanced at him, fixed his tie, and his hair).
Usagi: Sweetie, you have to relax, you already have the job, trust me, being my assent will be easier for everyone. (He kissed him softly on his forehead). Just go in, he's expecting you.
Misaki: You should come to, I'm sure he'd loved to see you.
Usagi: I can't help you with this one, he told me I wasn't allowed.
Misaki: (Sighs), Okay. I love you.
Usagi: And I love you. You're amazing, you can do this. I'm going to bug Eri.
Misaki: Leave her Alone.
Usagi: She loves me.
Misaki: Usagi-san!
Usagi: TOO LATE (at the elevator), I'm already here! Good luck! I believe in you!
Isaka: (Opens door): Misaki! (Hugs him tightly), Get in here! Lets talk.
Isaka: You already have the job, this is just a formality. No one wants to be his assistant.
Asahina: No one.
Misaki: (Angry): No one asked you lover boy.
Isaka: Things you can't do in public, Holding hands.
Misaki: What about y'all?
Isaka: You already know about us.
Misaki: When I start the Job, everyone will know the two of us are engaged.
Asahina: Fair point, even so, you can't be all over each other.
Isaka: Keep it professional.
Asahina: To be fair Isaka; If you had it your way, we would be all over each other at work, but you don't so.
Isaka: Anyway, Meetings, he still hates them.
Misaki: I know, but he has to have them, we need to keep them to an hour, book signings and releases should be at least an hour and half not all day events, although if I'm there we can probably get them for two hours, he won't do much more than that, even if I'm with him. Events that have to be longer, he would only do a day long event, no matter what, he hardly wants to be at my graduation, I don't even want to be there.
Isaka: What about b-
Misaki: Book tour? That's a joke.
(Isaka and Asahina glanced at each other, frowning).
Misaki: A BOOK TOUR? NO WAY WHY?
Isaka: He wrote four books, we want all of them out at the same time, we figu-
Misaki: Okay, some of those we're written under his pen name you can't-
Isaka: Maybe it's time for him to come clean about that.
Misaki: What?
Isaka: He came out, you guys are going to come out as a couple, I'm sure he'll be fine with it, plus he would probably make more money if people knew the books were about you two.
Misaki: The early ones weren't. He doesn't want my brother finding out about that. (Misaki blushed he was turning beat red, this was not happening).
Isaka: Him, or you? We'll just call him up here and ask... (He picked up the phone, dialing a number).
Eri: So have you guys deiced on a date?
Usagi: No, but Misaki knows how much I love Cherry blossoms so maybe in the spring, but also snow is important to us, so could be in the winter.
Eri: You can't plan that though.
Usagi: Doesn't matter, ever significant event in our lives happened when it was snowing, or snow started. It's fate.
Eri: (Smiles) Like you two.
Usagi: Exactly.
Eri: So d, (Her phone starts ringing) One sec, (She rolls her eyes), Its Isaka, (Picks the phone up), What? he is, we're busy, fine, he'll say no but I'll send him up anyway... Okay, Yeah we can do lunch, the five of us? you ask them. Bye Isaka. (Puts the phone back in the receiver, roiling her eyes), He's a pain in the ass.
Usagi: I know, what did he want?
Eri: He want's to talk to you, I told him you'd say no, but you should go up there anyway.
Usagi: What was his question?
Eri: (Sighing), I'd go find out.
Usagi: Okay. (Stands, leaning down to hug Eri).
Eri: Oh, and we're all having lunch together.
Usagi: Of course we are.
(Misaki taps his fingers in the desk, he can feel himself turning red by the second, when Usagi walks in and sits beside him he freezes, he hasn't felt like this around him in A long time).
Usagi: What's up?
Misaki: (Through gritted teeth), you don't want to know.
Isaka: How do you feel about doing a book tour?
Usagi: (Folds arms, leaning back in seat), I think you already Know the answer to that. What else?
Isaka: You're books about the two of, the ones under your pen name?
Usagi: Yeah, I know the ones? What about them?
Misaki: He want's you to say you're the one who wrote them.
Usagi: No, I can't do that, I don't want anyone to know I wrote the early ones.
Misaki: That's what I said.
Isaka: Like Misaki's brother?
Usagi: I can't ever let him know how I felt about him. If it was know I wrote those books, and thought about that... oh god (Places head in hands), and if I think about doing that stuff with Misaki.
Misaki: (Blushing harder)
Isaka: Wow, I didn't know you could turn that red.
Asahina: That is interesting.
Usagi: I can't do a book tour, two of the three books I wrote are the books about Misaki and I.
Isaka: But the other two aren't.
Misaki: He'll do a two month book tour with his books under his name.
Isaka: I think we can figure out a way to release the books under your pen name without any trouble.
Usagi: The scenes were Eri's ideas, most of them.
Misaki: My brother doesn't read that, but he will if he knows that you wrote them.
Isaka: Maybe we only print the new ones? Wipe the old ones out of exc-
Usagi: I'm telling you no!
Isaka: Some people already know, you kinda let it slip when you came out.
Usagi: I know, but I don't want anyone to know who doesn't already, plus I have the "All names are completely a coincidence"
Misaki: Yeah, right. We are going on tour with his two new books, "Beautifully drawing swords" and "Broken scars".
Isaka: Why are those titles so sad.
Misaki: A lot of his are, do you even read his books?
Usagi: The books aren't sad, "Broken scars" is-
Misaki: It's about two who are broken, they meet by chance after running away from home, fall in love and learn that broken people can heal scars.
Usagi: (Smiles) Yeah, You read the manuscript?
Misaki: Of course I did, Beautifully drawing swords was good too, more of a short story though, I wish it was longer.
Usagi: I wanted it to be, but the more I was writing it, the more I thought it worked better as a short story.
Isaka: What's that one about?
Misaki: A girl who collects swords finds a broken one a thrift shop, and makes it into a new one, she bonds with another girl across the street, and they talk about their sword collection, it's cute.
Isaka: Doesn't sound like something you'd usually write.
Usagi: I know, but I Got inspiration from a picture that Mahiro made, Eri thought it would sell, if she didn't I wouldn't have written it.
Misaki: I think kids will love it, and teens.
Isaka: I like it.
Usagi: You did agree to it.
Isaka: Did I?
Asahina: Yeah you did.
Isaka: Oh, well... it sounds sweet.
Misaki: I'm proud of him.
Isaka: You should be. Misaki, you're going to make a great assistant for him. No one can handle him like you, I mean I guess Eri, but you got him to write four books in two months, and all of them are amazing.
Misaki: (Shrugs), I don't know how.
Usagi: (Wraps his arms around Misaki), Because you're amazing, and I love you.
Misaki: I love you.
Isaka: What do you say we all go get lunch? Anyone up for pizza?
Asahina: Sure, call Eri, lets meet her in the lobby.
Misaki: Thanks for lunch Eri, (He hugged her tightly).
Eri: Anytime, hey so can I come hang out with yall later, Rose is working all week, and it's going to be lonely going home.
Usagi: Sure, but just for a bit, and you can't spend the night.
Isaka: (Laughs), Classic Usagi, not letting anyone in. (Points to Misaki), except Chibi here. (He pulls him into a hug. You're the only one.
Usagi: (Annoyed), Get off him.
Misaki: (Pushes Isaka off), Go hug your boyfriend.
Isaka: How did you do it.
Misaki: Even If I knew, I wouldn't tell you.
Usagi: (Takes Misaki's hand), No one can but him, and if we have kids.
Eri: You would spoil your kids, especially if you had a baby girl, Please have kids now!
Misaki: Can we finish building our house first? and get married?
Eri: (Clears throat), Oh yeah, sure. But after.
Misaki: You'd still want to be our surrogate right? because it might be hard japan stil-
Eri: Misaki, yes and don't worry, Rose said Ren can help, it's going to be okay.
Isaka: speaking of marriage, you guys still can't technically-
Usagi: We Know, Go to work, Asahina, take him upstairs.
Asahina: Got it, (Smirks), Pulling Isaka inside.
Isaka: HEY! YOU WORK FOR ME!
Asahina: (whispering) I'm the boss in this relationship.
Isaka: (Blushes).
Usagi: We know we need a Partnership certification.
Misaki: And that it doesn't grant us everything that a marriage would, but It's the best we can do right now.
Eri: When do you guys want to get married?
Misaki: (Grins), Winter, (He takes Usagi's hand), The snow is special to us.
Eri: You should get started now, at least looking at the documents, I heard it can take up to five moths. (Walks towards building). I'll email some information.
Misaki: (Siting on Usagi's lap, they are in his office on the couch, documents for the certificate in front of them. He sighs bowing air out), I didn't think it would be this much, we have to do this much!
Usagi: Yes. It doesn't change your mind, does it?
Misaki: (Turns to look at Usagi), What? Of course not, (He takes Usagi's face, rubbing his thumbs against his soft skin), No, it just means we have to look through all of this carefully, so we only have to do it once. If we start in August, we can have our certificate by December, maybe a little before. We'll also start the movie process by then, if we don't have any problems our house should be ready by the summer right?
Usagi: (He places his hands on Misaki's), Right, and by December we'll be moved in, we wanted to have a ceremony at our house anyway.
Misaki: Exactly It's perfect! (He grinned kissing Usagi hard), Now we need to put this in a safe place.
Usagi: I have just the spot. (He lifted Misaki, placing him beside him, stood up walked over to his desk. Opening a drawer in the bottom of his desk, he pulled out a binder marked wedding. He grinned hoping on the couch handing it to Misaki).
Misaki: Wedding?
Usagi: I've kinda been planning our wedding ever since you proposed.
Misaki: (Grins), Usagi, this is so sweet. (He holds the binder to his chest).
Usagi: Don't you want to look at it?
Misaki: Yeah, but I just remembered, I have to go get my graduation stuff, and the suit.
Usagi: Want me to come?
Misaki: Can you drop me off at the school?
Usagi: Yeah, and I can get our suits.
Misaki: Perfect. When we come we can look at the binder.
Usagi: (Eyes lighting up), Good because I have lots of ideas.
Usagi: I can't believe they had a gown that small, I bet it could fit Suzuki-san. we should test it.
Misaki: No, this, along with our suits stay in the closet until Saturday, then you can give it to Suzuki-san. (He took the suits and the gown from Usagi hanging them in the closet, then took Usagi's hand grinning at him). Okay, so let's look at the binder, you've been grinning about it all day.
Usagi: I'm so excited. (He smirked leading Misaki to the office, once there he placed the smaller man on his lap then opened the binder.) Okay so for us I'm thinking purple and blue wedding suits, purple for me.
Misaki: Of course, it'll bring out your eyes.
Usagi: Something like this. (He pointed to a picture).
Tumblr media
Misaki: That's amazing.
Usagi: And for you, this one.
Tumblr media
Misaki: I love it.
Usagi: And everyone else can wear black or red.
Misaki: Okay, any ideas on cake?
Usagi: Lemon, but I want it on theme, maybe this one?
Tumblr media
Misaki: Maybe.
Usagi: You don't like it?
Misaki: It looks good, but I know we won't have a lot of people, we might need something smaller.
Usagi: Right.
Misaki: Don't say it like that (Kiss cheek), We have time.
Usagi: I know, I just wanted you to like it
Misaki: I do, and honey, we don't have to agree on everything okay?
Usagi: It would just be easer if we did.
Misaki: I know.
Usagi: We agreed on everything for our house easily.
Misaki: But not everything, there was some stuff you thought wouldn't work, and that's fine.
Usagi: I loved must of the stuff, some things I thought didn't work, so we changed them.
Misaki: Right, and it'll be like this planning our wedding.
Usagi: Okay, right. So the ceremony, you want it outdoors?
Misaki: Right.
Usagi: It might be cold though so should the reception be indoors?
Misaki: Maybe, we can look into that the closer we get.
Usagi: Okay.
Misaki: OH, the theme is amazing!
Tumblr media
Usagi: Really?
Misaki: Yeah, I mean we won't need that many seats, but I get the idea.
Usagi: Purple winter wonderland.
Misaki: I Love it. (He turns to face Usagi embracing him), I LOVE YOU, so much!
Usagi: I love you too. (Picks up documents), Now these need to go in.
Misaki: We're getting closer.
Usagi: I know.
Misaki: I can't believe it, we've come so far huh?
Usagi: Yeah. Sure have. (He hugged Misaki tighter taking in his smell, he loved ever single thing about him, he always wanted a person, and now he had one).
