no but Hindutva is so fucking stupid, because it’s a bunch of old men going around imposing a religion whose main thing is that it’s not a religion; it’s a way of life. a way of life where the gods don’t give a shit if you aren’t a believer and non-believers aren’t going to burn for their sins. a religion that preaches tolerance, the importance of doing good deeds even through you are trapped in a cycle of life, death and suffering. seriously, to break from the cycle, you just have to lead a good life doing good deeds and to help others. nowhere in hindu scriptures does it say that you will not attain moksha if you aren't a hindu; just do the good deeds, and you will become one with God. hinduism is like ‘let live and do good’ it says nowhere that you are a bad person if you aren’t a Hindu in doctrine; that’s what universal religions do. I’m not even sure BJP understand what Hinduism is. fucking idiots.

for my jjba self-shipping server's first collaborative mixtape, we decided to go with a double theme! side A consists of members' song choices for a first dance with their f/o, while side B flips the switch and includes tracks for spicier occasions. the resulting 18-song playlist is linked below, and you can find members' thoughts on their selections under the cut! thank you to those who participated, i always have a blast making these with y'all 🤎
🎧 spotify playlist link
💿 full tracklist (and gushing) ⬇️
1. "Just What I Needed" by The Cars ∾ Eileen & Jotaro (@dogsofardour)
"Jotaro would choose “Just What I Needed” by The Cars. It’s an accurate reflection of how he first felt in Eileen’s presence. It’s a little abrasive but the song is all tender underneath the bravado. It’s not a very typically romantic song, but oh! It fits, and what a lovely sensation of exhilaration."
2. "You're Still the One" by Shania Twain ∾ Anika & Jotaro (@anikasenkujo)
"Jotaro and Anika have a unique road to their wedding. First, he proposes to her in Morioh, in front of people he considers close with a family heirloom ring that Holy handed to him. Then, after tons of arguments and after almost not being married, they have Hindu pre-wedding festivities and a Christian wedding. So their first dance, is a reminder to themselves of the journey that they’ve undergone as a couple. From traveling to Cairo, to them being separated by circumstances and misunderstandings, to Anika losing her memories during this time, to broken previous relationships and to them being reunited. All of the moments they’ve had, led to the moment that they’re having right now. Their first dance is symbolic of how far they’ve come despite people saying that they’ll never be together. It’s symbolic of the fact that true love always hopes, perseveres and trusts."
3. "This Must be the Place" by Sure Sure ∾ Julie & Risotto (@reclusiverisottonero)
""I'm just an animal looking for a home"--Risotto didn't have much of a place to call a home or many people he could reliably think of as family. He didn't think he even needed such things as an assassin but didn't realize he'd unconsciously been seeking it out until he meets me, and suddenly something clicks and he goes, "Oh". 'Home' as a concept is the people you choose to surround yourself with, and little by little we opened up the doors to our hearts to let one another inside to permanently settle in. It makes this song a no-brainer for our first dance as a married couple."
4. "The Book of Love" by Peter Gabriel ∾ Rydia & Dio (@hammerofspace)
"I've got this headcanon that Dio is very slow to actually discuss soft feelings and that when he does open up about them it's a whole to do. The song focuses a lot on not knowing about love and it's intricacies but that the moments of togetherness build it into something more despite the unknown. More than anything, I'm also convinced this man would try to find a book for all things he's unsure of and would absolutely follow a book of love like it was his personal handbook if there was one discussing all the possibilities of love."
5. "Like Real People Do" by Hozier ∾ Kat and Diego (@katbrando)
"Besides this track being just short enough for me to ignore the anxiety that would come with dancing in front of people, the lyrics always give me goosebumps. The subtle changes in the chorus as the song progresses remind me of a relationship that's slowly shifting and growing, where two damaged people are learning to trust each other and open up. Having this moment after we've just been married would feel like a shared sigh of relief in knowing we've forever found someone who makes us feel safe and whole."
6. "As the World Falls Down" by David Bowie ∾ Isabella & Dio (@drakkar-noir)
"It’s kind of cheesy, but I love this song so much along with the scene it’s featured in in Labyrinth. It’d probably take some convincing to sway Dio into having this be our first dance, but he’d eventually relent because he actually likes David Bowie. It would be a very sweet and tender slow dance with lots of private whispers and smiles."
7. "I've Got You Under My Skin" by Dionne Warwick ∾ Lazarus & Dio (@phvntom-limbs)
"This is for a couple reasons. Firstly, this is a song that touches on the complete and utter devotion to that One person, loving someone so much you would do basically anything for them. And this cover in particular is a slower take on it, so it's perfect for a little romantic dance :3"
8. "Young and Beautiful" by Lana Del Rey ∾ Avelino & Melone & Pesci (@cinnamonnbonnie)
"I've seen the many beauty's of the world, irresistible landscapes, colors of the winds, and felt in my heart and soul when nature spoke in its way. When the world gets old, we are able to see forms, shapes, and crystals that only the time can make it look beautiful. Diamonds get the most brilliant and graceful as time goes by, and humans decay and get turned into dust, buried and forgotten. That's the end of the line. Although we die, we will continue to shine like gold, endlessly shining even under the ground."
9. "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls ∾ Leo & Gyro (@leozeppeli)
"We didn’t have a first dance or anything, so Gyro played Iris in the car after we eloped because it was the cheesiest song he could think of without being too cliche."
1. "Passenger" by Deftones ∾ Leo & Gyro (@leozeppeli)
"…he then put on Passenger ten minutes later and promptly pulled over into a dark parking lot."
2. "Tessellate" by alt-J ∾ Kat & Diego (@katbrando)
"Most of alt-J's lyrics honestly baffle me, but there's something undeniably sexy about this song. It starts with "bite chunks out of me, you're a shark and i'm swimming" and based on the overall vibe, you can't tell me that doesn't have dirty implications. Additionally, "tessellate" basically means "to fit together closely"."
3. "Slow Hand" by The Pointer Sisters ∾ Eileen & Jotaro (@dogsofardour)
"The Pointer Sisters’ “Slow Hand” is a pretty good tone setter. It’s slow, sensual, and the lyrics demand the lover show more consideration and finesse than a quickie."
4. "Soulful" by L'Indécis ∾ Rydia & Dio (@hammerofspace)
"To keep with the honeymoon encompassing theme, there's no words in this song and I think that would be important. The time alone away from everyone is about savoring wordless moments and each other and the tempo fits the idea of taking things slowly and basking in them in my head. He's a hedonist and takes his time with all things pleasurable 👀"
5. "Eat Your Young" by Hozier ∾ Lila & Cioccolata (@cinnamonnbonnie)
"Seven ways that we can sin, seven ways that we can taste each other, seven reasons to start the fire, along seven craving desires that only the other can satisfy. We made the most beautiful sin, the honey dripping from our bodies is the most divine taste, the heat makes the edges burn, and we feel deep inside, craving for each other more, a war that only us can fight."
6. "Love Me Harder" by Ariana Grande & The Weeknd ∾ Anika & Jotaro (@anikasenkujo)
"After their wedding in Calcutta, Jotaro and Anika’s 8 day honeymoon in Goa, an Indian state full of beaches is something that’s filled with adventures of all kinds. There are many moments of lovemaking, and learning about one’s likes and dislikes in sex. Also, just because they reunited after 10 years, they couldn’t take this moment lightly, they got to love each other harder, with every moment filled with passion, and sheer commitment to each other. Because they’ve slept with different people before, this song is a reaffirmation of their love to each other but in a carnal manner."
7. "Freak" by Lana Del Rey ∾ Isabella & Dio (@drakkar-noir)
"Very fitting that this is from the “Honeymoon” album! I love this song SO MUCH though and the vibes it brings for the bedroom are immaculate. The song is supposed to be about convincing your partner to be a freak with you, but we all know there would be no convincing needed for either party in this case."
8. "Watcher" by Femme En Fourrure ∾ Julie & Risotto (@reclusiverisottonero)
"The exchange of power and control can be intensely intimate. Risotto's trust is something to be treasured, to not be taken for granted even for a moment. I enjoy the dark beats of this track contrasting with the lightheartedness of the first song, but primarily love how the bluntness of the lyrics still have this craving for your partner beneath the surface . Risotto and I want to consume each other so completely, so wholly that sometimes all grace needs to be discarded so we can just fuck."
9. "Closer" by In This Moment ∾ Lazarus & Dio (@phvntom-limbs)
"This song just straight up fucks. It's already musical sex but Maria Brink has a voice that's just WA it's so good. Such a sexy song. Like biblically sexy."

May I ask why you picked the name Ar*an? I read a post of yours in a mogai tag and it made me VERY uncomfortable. I am not sure if you just didn't know that but "Ar*an" is what n*zis called and still call people who are white and non-Jewish. It's a deeply deeply racist and antisemetic word and it kind of shook me that anyone except for literal n*zis would even use that term at all.
Also like if this genuinely is an honest mistake, I'm begging you, educate yourself on the Shoah and on antisemitism. This isn't optional. If you want Jewish people to feel safe around you in ANY way you need to do better. I am trying not to come off too aggressive but I'm still kind of shaking my head in disbelief.
Hey anon!
I picked the name Aryan because it’s a Hindu name? Like it’s a sanskrit word dating back centuries.
I’m Indian and Hindu and Aryan is actually quite a common name over here? Like the same way you find men in the west named stuff like John and Charlie and Alex, Aryan is a common name over here.
I genuinely wasn’t aware of the N/zi usage of the term when I picked the name, I just wanted a Sanskrit name and I knew Aryan was a common name so I stole the name from a classmate
I am educating myself on anti semitism as I am with all other forms of oppression I can perpetuate because I want minorities to feel safe around me, but how is it anti semitic if it’s quite literally a name?
I understand the white supremacy that the N/zis have used with the word but as a name it’s really a name, like every one in ten guys here you will find someone called aryan? I am educating myself on anti semitism but I really don’t see how having the sanskrit word as my name is anti semitic if I’m using it as the sanskrit word, and not in a white supremacist way.

this is gonna be a long-ish ask bc there's a LOT in Diwali, but I'll do my best to summarise!
So Deepavali, also called Diwali, is the festival of lights. Its when you will see people lighting rows of diyas (lights - candles) everywhere and bursting firecrackers and playing sparklers etc. Its also the Hindu New Year, and its celebrated on the night of the lunar calendar (new moon) which is called Amavasya (closest I can get the phonetic spelling in English script). This year, it happened on the 4th Nov, but celebrations usually last on the entire week of that night.
There are two main stories/beliefs of Diwali, 1. This is tied to the epic of the Ramayan, which is a story about the life and times of the King Rama (I'll leave you to find that out for yourself) but the link to Diwali is that on the darkest night of the calendar he finally returned to his kingdom of Ayodhya after 13+ (sources vary) years of exile along with his wife and brother and other followers. The people of Ayodhya were overjoyed for his return but they also worried that because of the darkness, he wouldn't be able to find his way home or recognise his kingdom (13+ years does something to one's memory) so they lit up all the houses and streets with rows of lights and bright colours so that he could find his kingdom.
2. The Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth, is said to visit the house that is well lit and decorated with good offerings and sit there, which provides the family with wealth and prosperity for years to come
Essentially, with lighting diyas, cleaning and decorating your house, doing the proper worship and giving offerings is to invite good luck, wealth, and happiness into your home!
What my family does is a whole puja (worship) to primarily the deities Lakshmi (wealth, prosperity), Ganesh (overcoming troubles, prosperity), Vishnu (maintaining the order, making sure everything goes well, prosperity) and the nine deities of the nine planets. We also in addition to decorating and lighting up our house, go around giving gifts of sweets and dried fruit to our neighbours to endure good ties and relationships. After, (on a non-covid year) everyone goes out for a night of playing with sparklers, fireworks, bright lights etc. The lights are supposed to stay lit throughout the night, even with everyone asleep to ensure prosperity knows your house is participating and inviting it in.
Of course, the specific celebrations vary from region to region or even family to family, partly because there are so many of us Indians globally and also because Hinduism is one of (if not IS) the oldest religion in the world still practiced today. But I have provided the general to give you an idea.
Unfortunately, because of colonialism, a lot of our culture has been lost, erased or changed from what it used to be, and we are still suffering the effects today. For example, did you know, being queer/transgender was so widely accepted and normalised that there was a special group of transgender deities that were worshipped? Also, most of the Hindu deities are genderfluid (using the term bc its the one most people know). But anyways, my point is that I'm not entirely about the accuracy of the religion represented in the Spawn's curriculum and the respect it might be given in those textbooks (its a big part of our lives). I personally would recommend asking an actual Hindu-practicing person who is well-versed in the mythology in order to get your most reliable information about the festivals celebrated.
Thanks for asking me Simon, and I wish you well!
Thank you so much! What a lovely tradition! It seems to be very much about cleansing ones self of old ways and trying to establish new more balanced patterns. How wonderful!
I did actually know that bit about transgender in the culture. That was also true for parts of Africa and Southeast Asia also. The more I look into indigenous ideas of gender and sexuality, the more I learn how incredibly disgusting was the enforcement of Christianity’s binary notions about the universe. So very destructive. I never spent much time with the Jewish groups I met along the way, because they’re were always so ostracized, and to spend time with them was to invite scrutiny which I could not afford, so I never learned much about their traditions. It was only recently, here on tumblr, that several people told me about all the third genders that Judaism embraced historically. I had no idea, but it was very very good to learn. I truly have seen the Church as a particular adversary of mine, just from all I’ve seen, but o continue to learn more reasons to dislike where it has taken so much of the world.
Ah me. Anyway! Thank you so very much! I will go learn more about this. I am curious—would you consider this festival or holiday to be an open or closed practice. May people who aren’t Hindu celebrate it or should it be confined to faith?

Sorry for doing it this way, I think OP deleted their post or blocked me like a mature, balanced person would, so I have to tag you in
@mr-laugh
Oh boy, lot to unpack here.
So you didn’t even know there were that many subgenres of fantasy, one of the most popular classifications of fiction on the planet... And you think you know enough to tell ANYBODY what classic fantasy is?
And where exactly I attempted to do that, huh?
If you don’t even know the most common subgenres of this vast pool of fiction, why are you jumping into this discussion? You just admitted you don’t know anything!
There is no discussion, there is a stupid ass post. Don't flatter yourself, you don't know jack shit.
Me not knowing what exactly are the precize subgenres of a genre of literature, which, btw, are completely arbitrary and for your information, sword&magic is a legitimate category, has absolutely nothing to do with what that post you were so keen on agreeing with above. It was you who said pretty much any classic fantasy is like that: some poorly written, self-indulgent and borderline racist.
Did ya read the link, buddy? Howard talked about knowing what burning black man smelled like. He was quite approving of these things! And the books are pretty racist, it’s not hard to see, unless you ain’t looking.
Yes, I started reading and by the end of the first paragraph I was convinced he was ahorribly racist man. And? Still doesn't change the fact, that for my 12 year old self, there was nothing racist about it. I definetly wasn't looking for it, that much you got right. If I'd read it again, I'm sure I'd catch on to it now, that I know what kind of asshole he was. So the implied racism would be there. You got a point for that.
Rugged individualism? It always amuses me how that argument always pops out of the mouths of guys who are aping what they’ve heard their buddies say. If ten thousand mouths shout “rugged individualism”, how individualistic are they?
Then you should amuse yourself by looking up why this thing crops up as of late. It's coming from certain, supremely racist yet unaware of it publications that claim ridiculous shit like "rugged individualism" is a hallmark of white supremacy, among other, equally laughable things, like punctuality. It's a joke.
Again, I will give Howard to you, if someone that racist writes a black man saving the hero of the story, I bet there was something else still there to make it wrong.
Conan’s not some avatar of rugged individualism.
Uhm, yeah, he pretty much all that.
He’s as unreal and unrealistic as the dragons are,
It's called fantasy for a reason, buddy.
but more dangerous because White Men model their ideas of reality on Big Man Heroes like him;
Glad you are totally not racist, yo!!! It's such a relief that White Men are the only ones with this terrible behavior of looking up to larger than life, mythic superpeople and nobody else. Imagine what it would be like, if we would have some asshole from say, hindu indian literature massacering demons called Rakshassas, by the tens of thousands, or some bullshit japanese warlord would snatch out arrows from the air, or a chienese bodyguard would mow down hundreds of barbaric huns without dropping a sweat, or some middle eastern hero would fight literal gods and their magical beasts in some quest for eternal life.
it's a poison that weakens us, distracting us from actually trying to solve the world’s issues, or banding together to deal with shit.
This is what you just said. It's up to the white man, to get their shit together, be not racist and solve the world's problems, because those poor other people's just can't do it. If we would just not be oh, so racist, then China would surely stop with the genocides they are doing now, or blowing more than half the greenhouse emissions into the athmosphere, the muslims would stop throwing their gays from rooftops or ramming trucks into crowds and would just start treating women as equals, India's massive rape problem would be gone, subsaharan African would be magically bereft of the host of atrocities committed there on a daily, yeah, you sure have that nonracism down, buddy!
A rugged individualist would be smart enough to realize that even the most individualistic person needs others; no man’s an island, and a loner is easier to kill.
Individualism doesn't mean at all what you think it means, it's a cluster of widely differeing philosophies that puts the individual ahead of the group or state, it's ranging from anarchism to liberalism and is also has nothing to do with my point.
Central Europe? What, Germany? Because let me tell you, historically they are SUPER concerned about race!
Germany traditionally considered western european, central europe would be the people stuck between them and the russians, to put it very loosely. We are equally nonplussed by the self-flagellating white guilt complex and the woe me victim complex of the west. We did none of the shit those meanie white people did to the nonwhites and suffered everyting any poc ever did and then some. We don't give a shit about your color, we care about what culture you are from and if you respect our values.
I’m an American from a former Confederate state; trust me, race is everything. It always is.
No it really isn't. How old are you? Asking without condescension, genuinly curious, because if you are in your low twenties at most, it's understandable why you think like this.
See that hike? Do you know what happened at that time that made virtually all american media suddenly go all in with racism?
Occupy Wall Street, that's what. It's a brilliant way to sow victimhood and hate and desperation amongst the people who have one common enemy, the powers that be, the banking sector, the politicians, the megacorporations.
Can't really blame you if you are in your early 20's at most, you grew up with this bullshit hammered into you. If you are older, step out of your echochamber please!
If you actually believe, that mankind doesn't progress naturally towards a more accepting society purely on the merit of there being more good people than bad and sharing a similar living with all the hardships in life, seeing that our prejudices inherited by our parents are baseless, that's how we progress, not virtue signalling courses and regressive policies. I was raised as any other kid, I had a deep resentment towards the neighbouring nations, I said vile, racist shit against people who I actually share a lot of genes with, of which fact I was in deep denial about, and then as I gradually got exposed more and more actual people of these groups, I started to realize I was wrong and everybody should be judged by their individual merits. It works throughout the generations, my grandma was thought songs about Hitler and how all jews are evil in school, she legit thought all black people at least in Africa are cannibals and shit, my mother stillsays shit that would get her cancelled in the USA, and I will probably have a mixed race kid as we stand now.
This whole racism is an eternal problem is laughable and disingenuous and I am actually sorry for you that you feel like that.
Moving on. As for Dany, the “noble white girl sold to scary dark foreign man” is a very popular trope, especially in exploitation films, which Martin draws on much more heavily than most authors do.
No, he fucking doesn't. I already wrote a bunch of examples from the books you seeminly ignore willfully. First of all, she is sold to those olive skinned savages by a white man, who is a terrible, increadibly evil man. He want's to fuck the then 11-12 ish Dany so bad, she picks his slave most resembling her and rapes her repeatedly, "until the madness pass." He also maimes children and traines them as disposable slave spies by the hundreds. There is no boundaries colour here, GRRM prtrays all kinds of people as reprehensible, evil and disgusting. Just like you can find plenty of examples to the opposite.
What is he drawing from your exploitation movies exactly? He writes about the human anture, he writes about the human heart at war with itself, that's his central philosophy of writing.
ASOFAI is basically just a porn movie with complicated feudal politics obscuring it, which is probably why it worked so well as an HBO series (up until the last two seasons or so.)
There is no gratuitous sex scene in the books, the rapes are described as rapes, they are horrible, they are very shortly described and usually just alluded to.
The people commiting them are not put into generous lights and one of the single most harrowing stories hidden behind the grand happenings of the plot is a girl named Jeyne Poole, whose suffering although never shown, is very much pointed out, along with the hypocrisy of the people who only fight to try and save her, because they think her a different person.
Honestly, if you actually read the books and they came of to you as porn, you might want to do some soulsearching.Btw, the HBO series was a terrible adaptation, it immedietly started to go further and further from the books with every passing season and the showmakers made it very clear to everybody, that they didn't understand the very much pacifist and humanist themes of Martin. And neither did you.
We also get no indication Essos will eat it when Winter comes; hell, they seem to not know Winter exists, given the way people act, even though that is also unrealistic and weird. Essos was just super badly designed, and Dany is a terribly boring character.

hi, did jennie wear a bindi in the dddd mv? i heard it was just decorative crystals, but i'm not desi so i wanted to make sure
Hi love! Thank you for this question, since I have a feeling it’s a confusion a lot of non desi people have regarding Jennie’s styling. I’m assuming by making a distinction between “decorative/ fashion crystal” and “bindi” there’s some confusion as to a) what a bindi looks like and b) how the bindi is used by desi people (e.g, its only used for religious ceremonies or marriages versus being used as a fashion accessory). I’m not an expert on this subject by any means, but with the academic reading I’ve done and my own experiences growing up in India, I’d like to explain, best I can, how imo this distinction really isn’t as valid or important as the manner in which its worn. Also that being said, I want to state upfront that this is nowhere the most offensive/racist thing done to desi people, and that people who want to cancel her over it are just trying to seem woke themselves.
First things first, there’s no particular style or shape that seperates a “real” bindi from just a fashion sticker. Forehead markings of all styles and shapes exist across a variety of Asian cultures. They do, however, descend from India, so I’m sure some right wing orthodox assholes will immediately jump on this by arguing because it’s from one particular Hindu tradition therefore a single red dot makes a “real bindi” (Here’s an example of the original bindi which wikipedia explains pretty well) and that therefore what we see on Jennie isn’t a true bindi, but this ignores the actual reality in India.
One, actual scholars are very clear that the historical origins of a tradition actually have very little bearing on what the cultural significance of a tradition will eventually become*, and secondly because unlike the tilaka, kumkum bindi (which are the markings used exclusively by Hindu women during marraige) and the sindoor, the bindi was never intended to be used exclusively for a particular formal occasion, nor denote a particular social class. Instead, it’s everyday wear for Hindu women, and like some some Indian accessories its also partially migrated to other communities (e.g, wearing the maang tikka is now a must for Muslim weddings as well), though that is notably less common. And because ethnic fashion is a huge industry making everyday wear for millions of Indian women, bindis are everywhere in India: on magazine covers, bollywood stars, in movies, as part of traditional dances, etc, and they are sold in a HUGE variety of styles, often very cheaply, in packs of twenty, so that you can match them to your clothes and accessories (which by the way, used to be the It Thing during primary school for me. My classmates and I all used to go to the store together and compete to get the best looking bindis askfhks). Below is Jennie’s promotional image, and a very popular style of crystal bindis; as you can see, they’re similiar and could have been bought from the same company. The only reason they’re referred to as fashion stickers now is because retailers don’t want to get into trouble after prominent Hindu groups raised objections
The issue desi people have with the popularity of the bindi overseas is not that it is worn but how it’s worn in the west versus in India and what the implications of that are. India is literally one of the most diverse countries in the world, with probably countless number of traditions and styles, so what’s remarkable that all these years the bindi, like (mehendi/henna) has remained a symbol of traditional womanhood, by which I mean its still attached to piety, respect for tradition, conventional/traditional marraige and so on. Spirituality and religion are very very important for many Hindu women, and to many of us, our fashion doesn’t mean compromising our faith (and often, values like social conservatism); another example would be the conservative but fashionable forward outfit styles many Indian Muslim women wear.
On the other hand, the bindi first became popular in the West thanks to “an exotic look” by Madonna, who among other things, is famous for being provocative and pushing the boundaries of sexuality. Now, its associated with wild, often skimpy fashions like Kendall Jenner’s “teeny tiny bra and shorts during Coachella” or “edgier, exotic” images such as G(IDLE) and Blackpink (more on that later). The issue with how these women have chosen to wear and accessorize these bindis is not that there’s anything wrong with presenting yourself in a more sexual way, but because while they might claim to be “celebrating Indian culture” if pressed, its clear from their actions that they genuinely have no idea what bindis actually represent. Foreign celebrities will ONLY make bindis integral to their edgy/exotic looks, like Jennie wearing a bindi for a “girl crush/edgy” hip hop inspired song, and then immediately discarding it for a “classy/lady like” look while modelling for chanel. This is the opposite of how bindis are actually worn lmao (similiarly, in my post on G(IDLE), I touched on how their usage of mehendi made zero sense and was probably inspired my misconceptions about traditional desi styles).
A similiar anology to this kind of attitude would be if I only wore round framed glasses with skimpy partying wear and then called it “an exotic look celebrating Korean culture and Korean women” while its obvious from a simple google search that glasses are not exotic accessories, are exclusively worn with casual outfits in Korea and I have no idea what the fuck I’m talking about**.
It’s difficult to fit a variety of racist beliefs/actions into a single paragraph, but the way I choose to explain it, on a global scale the majority of the world knows nothing about what India’s actually like and tends to buy into one of two stereotypes about the country: desi people, especially women, are either dirty (e.g, we eat with our hands and have more body hair, which apparently makes us gross), backward, hypersexual (e.g, the popularity of the kama sutra and “tantric sex” which is by the way, not a real thing) and even violent, which alot of East Asian countries like Korea tend to buy into because of their colourist beliefs regarding darker skin, or b) we’re simple minded, incredibly backward people overly obessed with our traditions who might speak English but will never assimilate because of our background (e/g racist caricatures such as that one Indian guy on the Big Bang Theory). One of the weirdest aspects of the second attitude is that its now acceptable to just assume Indian traditions live in a vacuum, and we don’t have complex practices and beliefs built on a coherent set of values like everyone else in the world; the attitude that alot of foreigners have when they adopt the bindi or selectively talk about hinduism, if applied to Korea would be things like “Koreans lay out food for their deceased relatives every Chausok because they’re too simple minded and cultural to realise that dead people don’t need food” while happily ignoring the massive economy and high levels of education among the Korean population.
I think its pretty fair to say Jennie’s styling does sort of buy a little bit into both sterotypes, and it’s also fair to say that she’s in no way shown to be actively racist, and this at most is passive ignorance. Desi women have been reclaiming the bindi for years, and they deserve the same love and support foreign celebrities get. Right now though, Indians have bigger problems to worry about than the popularity of “fashion stickers”, which is why I side eye people who make a huge fuss about this but do nothing to help desi people. The purpose of this post is not to give people ammunition to “cancel her” which only serves to make yourself look good, but rather to say that when a situation like this occurs our first instinct should be to educate ourselves, because the more extreme forms of these attitudes allow for racism and harm towards people of colour; for instance, most Westerners have woobified Hinduism so much as a religion of peace and mystical spirituality and demonised Islam so much that the proto-fascist radical Hindu government now feels free to allow lynchings and attacks on the Muslim minorities knowing that the Western world won’t raise serious objections. It’s only when we go out to learn with what resources we have (which can be as simple as Wikipedia, like most the links in this post are) that we end up becoming more aware of the world around us, and the different ways we celebrate that as people.
Also on that note, if anyone has any money to spare, both Nagaland and Kerala, two states in India that often get ignored by the Central govt since it doesn’t benefit their Hindu extremism agenda, have experienced natural disasters this year. Feel free to donate here and here (additional info is attached) if you have any spare money.
#jennie#blackpink#this took me forever because i really wanted to be clear ahhhhh ill fix the formatting later#downbytheshores#desi

HOW CAN I KNOW MY GUARDIAN ANGEL?
If you only knew what ANGELS are doing for us human beings!
Like everyone on this earth, you have a GUARDIAN ANGEL watching over you and guiding you at all times. And to help you on your way to happiness. I will help you speak with your protector.
You have already dreamed about knowing the name of your guardian angel I'm sure. To learn more about the wonderful being watching over you and guiding your every step. To have him give you answers to any questions you are asking yourself....The world of angels is vast and mysterious and I can help you to find out it's secrets.
THE PRESENCE OF ANGELS IS REAL.
Most religion agrees that Guardian Angels do exist Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindu they all refer to the ephemeral but mighty beings in the religious texts.
Gabriel one of the most important angels in the Bible is called Jibril in the Quran. In both religions these divine messengers are tasked with being The Herald of Judgement Day but more than anything in any culture where Angels are mentioned they have the role of guardians for human beings. All the people's agree that Guardian Angels wish to do good on earth. They seek to guide human beings to keep them on the righteous path and help them find happiness. The goodwill and wisdom of these celestial creatures have no limit. Each human being can trust the angel protecting them because he knows what is happening deep within their soul.
HOW CAN I CONTACT MY ANGEL?
Each human being has a very intimate and very personal connection to the Guardian Angels watching over them. However, not everyone is aware of that link, which means they might not always receive the celestial messages meant for them. It's not always obvious to know how to speak to such fascinating and wonderful creatures. Sometimes you might feel that angels are not listening to you, or that they are acting on your behalf in convoluted ways. Fortunately you absolutely can learn how to decipher their language and communicate with them!
My goal is to help you open your heart and mind to perceive what your angel is trying to tell you knowing your protector better (knowing his name, how to speak to him, etc) will allow you to create a deeper and beneficial relationship with him. With help and the assistance of your personal Guardian Angel your future will hold no secrets from you. He will guide your every step in order to lead you towards absolute happiness.
MAKING A GOOD CONNECTION WITH YOUR ANGEL
If you want a positive contact then you need to always speak to Angels with courtesy and respect their being's made of light and invisible to the naked eye does not mean they don't have feelings they are very sensitive being's and so appreciate good manners.
A PRAYER FOR YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL
The most effective way to first make contact with your GUARDIAN ANGEL is through prayer it is better to do it late in the evening when night has fallen. Look at the stars if you can and look for the one that shines brighter than the others. If the sky is cloudy, just visualise a star shining bright focus on the star the real one or in your imagination. Then say a little prayer to the one who watches over you asking him gently to listen to you and grant your hearts desire. He will hear you, you can be sure about it, because it is constantly looking for ways to help you.
PRAYING IN A CALM AND SERENE ATMOSPHERE.
When you pray it's always better to do it with a calm and serene mind. The more you manage to control your emotions the clearer the message you are trying to send will be. Your cool head and control will thus be rewarded.
MAKING CONTACT WITH YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL.
There are no predefined rules about the best way to make contact with that being of light. It is first and foremost a question of personal intuition. If the way you are using feels right then it is the right one. But if you want to improve your chances of success you can always light a stick of incense, do a little meditation before hand. This will help you soothe your body and mind in order to better speak to your angel.
TO SPEAK TO YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL YOU MUST BE EMPTY WITHIN AND WITHOUT.
To speak to your protector I would strongly advise you to select a pleasant room with a lot of empty space. If the items around you distract your mind to it will be harder for you to communicate with him. A completely empty room would be best, but that is not always possible. When you start praying close your eyes and focus on the words you are saying do not let your attention drift on to your other thoughts.
YOU NEED TO KNOW THE NAME OF YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL.
If you want to try and strengthen the bond between you, you absolutely have to KNOW HIS NAME. It works like a kind of key whenever you say it. When he hears his name your angel will pay particular attention to what you wanted to tell him.
Trust and Faith are also very important. The more you believe in his existence, the more he will be able to help you in concrete terms.
Talk to him frequently and you will get astonishing results! These divine creatures are made of light and mystery provided that you respect them they will always be there for you when times get rough.

First of all, I'm not even American lol. I'm Indian; an Indian muslim woman; period. Now, about the things you said;
(a) Sure there aren't any anti islamic laws *currently* in existence in India, but, the way CERTAIN laws are implemented and exercised is definitely anti islamic. Innocent muslims are wrongfully booked under UAPA for participating in terrorist activities, whereas a hindu man can publicly call for muslim genocide and no arrests are made. (b) Well atleast Americans woke up and realised that their leader was a divisive, racist piece of shit and threw him out of power. Indians are still asking 'if not modi then who' even if they get reduced to destitution. Islam is normalised here BUT with conditions applied; if you practice or preach it in public with pride, you are a jihadi who's probably planning a terrorist attack. Muslims are a majority in India, WELL Indians were a majority in India but we were still enslaved by the British who were a minority in India. Lastly, bro, this isn't about nepotism. Locking star kids in jail won't solve the nepotism problem. This is also a PSA, and a request to educate yourself on right wing extremism.
Aryan Khan isn't in jail for doing drugs; he's there because his father, a Muslim, happens to be the biggest superstar in India and doesn't subscribe to this rotten regime's idea of nationalism. Pass it on.

Thank you for the answer about free will, it's something that has really bothered me lately, I've always believed in free will but certain things like when people talk about karma and astrology that confuses me a lot but I'm not sure I believe in karma anyway except just consequences and thought cycles and patterns. Could I also ask what play astrology has to do with this if free will is a thing and astrology is very fixed? Especially Vedic astrology, or their beliefs about astrology. Thank you!
( part 2 ) Oh and I must say that I’ve started to get a weird feeling when I focus on certain things, it’s like I’m more aware of how things I do everyday interact with my past and present and how my focus could really change my personality and who I am in the long run. It’s very subtle energies but at the same time very powerful bc right now I’m making decisions and needing to plan a bit for the future and you’re kinda right it’s a bit like a web or different tunnels of energies connected to
( part 3 )connected to each other and the more you focus on one thing instead of another I can kinda feel the consciousness and possibilities line up to a different path. I think that must have to do kinda with me being led by spirit or my intuition just because I have so many choices to make rn since I just graduated. Sorry for the long asks and thank you for the work you do on this blog, it’s very helpful and I need to get a reading from you as soon as a get a job haha won’t be long I hope😊🙃
Hi, Hi, Hi!
You are so very welcome for my last answer re: Free Will. It’s why I’m here and do this. What I don’t know from personal experience, I ask Spirit about. And sometimes not even my own Spirit Guides - but any Spiritual Allies floating about that are willing to engage in real, honest, thought-provoking conversation.
You ask some really compelling Spiritual things.
And a long Ask = an even longer Answer ;)
So I’ve answered your questions in 3 sections below:
Astrology & Free Will
Vedic Astrology… Say What?
Psychic Awareness While Living: Healthy or Not?
Note (for those following along at home): I do reference some concepts previously discussed in [ My Post / Answer about Whether I Believe in Free Will, and Why / Why Not ] …. If you are arriving late to the party (and happen to find this interesting), I suggest you read through that first.
* Keep Reading to learn more about the relationship between Astrology & Free Will, my channelled thoughts on Vedic Astrology, as well as how Psychic Awareness & Abilities can Influence How we Choose to Live / Behave *
Astrology & Free Will
I can read Astrology. I know a fair amount about it. It’s more of a hobby / personal interest of mine. I also offer reads on my website on the basis of different planetary and zodiac energies, but I am so very NOT a self-proclaimed “Expert” in that field. So my answer is based on personal opinion, experiences with Spirit, and channelling happening right now as I invite Spirit in to discuss this.
I see Astrology (as a method of reading, learning more about people & situations) like a similar Spiritual Study & (ultimately) Spiritual Tool - used to seek / flush out information about the self. This to me is really similar to how I also see other Spiritual Studies / Tools - like: Numerology & Palmistry.
There is a reason why practicing Astrology is called, “Charting”. I see it exactly as that. A chart of the position of planets at the time of your birth, determining which Houses & Zodiac Signs influence (energetically) the planets’ relative positions in your Chart (upon birth). And therefore, likely characteristics, personality traits, motivating factors, and emotional responses you may (or - to be fair - may not) possess in your life.
So (in my opinion) a Natal Birth Chart is like an energetic Road Map of YOU, based on the measurement of the relative position of the Planets & Zodiac signs.
Just like how - the sum total of the numbers associated with your Name or Birthdate (Numerology), is like an energetic Road Map of YOU, based on the energetic / symbolic significance of each Number in relation to your “Life Path” Number, “Soul” Number, “Destiny” Number, “Personality” Number, and other significant numbers in your life.
Just like how - the markings on your Palm (Palmistry), are like an energetic Road Map of YOU, based on the measurement of your “Life Line”, “Head Line”, “Heart Line”, “Planetary Mounds”, and other such markings.
Although each of these methods, in turn, are super cool, interesting, unique, and compelling… They are as I said: Road Maps.
Much like how we Map our planet, we see Maps everyday, we use Google Maps (GPS), just because we are aware of the information of where we could possibly go / travel to in life DOES NOT MEAN we will see & visit everywhere we have seen on a map or even heard of.
There are things in our Natal Charts - connected to Astrology - that will resonate and make sense / help you to identify & define yourself, your motives, your actions, your emotions, your behaviours… But just because you have that Natal Chart DOES NOT MEAN you will experience and behave *exactly* like everything that has been charted out for you.
That’s where, in my opinion, these schools of thought are tools for us to better know ourselves. But at the end of the day we still have Free Will and possess the ability to choose / decide all aspects of ourselves and our lives - WITH or WITHOUT the added information of our Astrology / Natal Chart, Numerology, or Palmistry.
They may serve to fill in some blanks for us, but they do not pre-determine how we will think, act, feel, behave, or CHOOSE in our life.
Side Note:
I have a client that is a Professional Astrologer. And when reading with them they fully admit to me “Yes, what you say from Spirit is true based on what I’ve already Charted for myself… But I wish to act *outside* of what I’ve Charted. So what does Spirit have to say about that?” ***
*** This is me paraphrasing / glossing over what has been said, as my sessions with clients are confidential.
Vedic Astrology… Say What?
Okay so Full Disclosure (because I’m super honest and don’t know how to be anything other than that):
I have no idea what Vedic Astrology is. I am curious though.
So I’m going to do a quick Google for the definition of that and see what Spirit has to say…
* 3 Minutes Pass *
OHHHHHH.
So Vedic Astrology is… Astrology. But traditional Hindu / Indian Astrology. And it seems to be most focused on Charting / Mapping for the purpose of determining one’s “Destiny”.
Gotcha.
Note: If I’ve butchered that quick-3-minute-Google-dive explanation, I do so thoroughly apologize AND encourage you to write in to *lovingly* provide further information not only for myself, but those that read my blog.
Spirit is showing me that Charting one’s “Destiny” via a Vedic Astrology Reading is no different than what I do as a Psychic Medium when I tell my clients what I see for them in the future (via my Clairvoyant & Clairaudient abilities - visions & spoken word from Spirit).
And Spirit goes further to say (as soon as I’ve typed that up) - “Yea, that’s pretty close Allison”.
So rather than speaking about Vedic Astrology at this point (something I don’t know / practice) - I’m going to switch over to speak about reading the future as a Psychic Medium (something I do know / practice)… Because Spirit has given me the “Green Light” to say that the two are comparable, in terms of the end goal / achievement (pre-determining one’s future). The means though (technique) could not be ANYMORE different ;)
So as a Psychic Medium when I read the future I am reading the highest possible likelihoods / probable events (think Statistical Maths for a second here), based on who you are, how you behave, and the decisions (Free Will) you are enacting in your life right now (so in maths - the “known variables”).
I imagine in Vedic Astrology, the Astrologer is Charting your highest possible / probable “Destiny”, based on your Natal Birth Chart AND the predicted trajectory of the Planets through each of the Astrological Houses & associated Zodiac signs - something that is mathematically pre-determined.
I feel like I’m speaking a lot of jargon here.
BASICALLY. The words that are most important that I just typed are: HIGHEST POSSIBLE LIKELIHOODS, HIGHEST PROBABLE EVENTS, HIGHEST POSSIBLE “DESTINY”.
As with Statistical Maths, there are outliers. Or rather, DATA THAT CANNOT BE ACCOUNTED FOR OR CHARTED.
In Psychology you would maybe say that: “Past Behaviour predicts Future Behaviour”.
Key Words: Predicts! Does not guarantee.
So the way I see it [ WITH HEAPING AMOUNTS OF HELP FROM SPIRIT ] is that Vedic Astrology, or even what I do as a Psychic Medium (when consulting Spirit about a client’s future), is really our “best educated guess” about your future or “destiny” based on your past (or in Vedic Astrology - your Natal Birth Chart & the predicated future position of the planets relative to the Astrological Houses & associated Zodiac signs).
The past - by the way - is something that is Linear. It’s happened. Everything is known to you (and Spirit). The only unknowns are thoughts, decisions, motivators, behaviours, emotions, etc. of those around you that may have at one point or another, influenced your life.
The future - as I said in my post about “Free Will” - is a web of potential.
So can Vedic Astrology influence / supersede Free Will?
In my opinion… No.
Just because something is charted / calculated / psychically determined, doesn’t mean it will *actually* happen in that exact way.
YOU are the “unknown” variable in that equation. Or rather, your Free Will.
You can choose at any time to turn Left instead of Right.
Even if your map, your GPS, your significant other, your family, or every other variable in your life point towards turning Right. You still have the ability to *randomly* turn Left.
Psychic Awareness While Living: Healthy or Not?
Ever heard of the phrase: “Too much of a good thing”?
That’s how I see this Spiritual / Psychic stuff.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s so-so-so amazing. I love my gifts. I love being able to know things / see things / hear things. I love getting “insider” information about my life, my loved ones’ lives, and the world.
BUT.
But, but, but…
Knowing more, feeling more, sensing more… Well that’s not always the *best* thing.
It also reminds me of that phrase: “Ignorance is bliss”
Sometimes knowing less can be best.
When you are (what we now call in the New Age community) “Awake” to the world around you. Spiritually Aware that your are 100% a Spiritual Being / Entity having a Human Experience…
When you are in tune with your Psychic / Intuitive abilities, you work with them, your use them (or… they use you)…
Well when those things happen… Very quickly you may start feeling *extremely* small, in this world, this universe, all universes. And you realize the space around you IS SO FREAKING, BEYOND, BIG. LIKE, BIGGER THAN EVEN THIS. LIKE, BIGGER THAN EVEN ALL OF THE CAP LOCKS IN THE WORLD.
And when that happens. You. Start. Questioning. EVERYTHING.
Not just one thing. Not just teeny weeny things. But.. EVERY. POSSIBLE. THING.
When you possess these gifts and know how to use them?
Well then you: obsess about the past
“what could have been different”
“where would you be now if you have chosen this instead of that?”
“who would you be if he / she / they had treated you differently?”
“who would you be if he / she / they had RAISED you differently?”
“where would you be know if you knew then what you know now”
Etc…
And you also: obsess about the future
“I want *this thing* but what is the best way for me to achieve *that thing*?”
“How will I know when I need to go for *that thing*?”
“Is *perfect timing* even a thing? How will I know?”
“Could there be something I’m doing now that’s actually holding me back?”
“What if I’m working so hard to *do this thing* right now, when it actually won’t even *give me that thing*?”
Etc…
Then the unfortunate outcome of all of that obsession about the Past & Future results in:
Being so, ridiculously, terrifyingly, hopelessly STUCK in the Present.
SO THE SECRET IS:
Please, please, please let me tell you the secret to this…
What I learned a very long time ago is this:
Listen. Receive. Feel. Sense. Gather & Know more information than everyone else that is still “Asleep”.
Do that. Actively engage in your Sixth Senses. Connect to your Spiritual Allies. Embrace the incredible, amazing, awesomeness that is you & your potential.
Do that. Be that. But then take all of that extra information and THROW ALL OF IT OUT OF THE WINDOW.
IGNORE IT.
Let it come into your awareness, and right back out again.
Because although there is this super-awesome, Psychically-aware, spiritually-savvy, version of yourself. That Spiritual Being / Entity I mentioned earlier.
Although there is her / him / them.
There is also You. The Human Being version of You that is actively living (right. the. frick. now.) this *sometimes heart-rending & emotionally turbulent* Human Experience.
So… Psychic Awareness While Living: Healthy or Not?
Not so much.
But you can change that with that Free Will of yours… By choosing which messages from Spirit you allow to influence your day-to-day thoughts, behaviour, emotions & actions.
Believe me when I say that this takes practice. It’s easier for some than others. But when you get the hang of it, all of the over-obsessing will be like flies buzzing around your head. Psychic / Intuitive insights that you are aware of but see as things OUTSIDE OF YOURSELF. Energies *you can choose* to feed into, or… (and this is WAY more healthy)… IGNORE.

So I'm in a weird place... my town has a curse. Nothing that massively negatively impacts peoples lives just kind of vaguely steers them at best. It's mostly a legend. But my friend wants to try to take control of the curse and I really think it's a bad idea. Not only is it a very old curse, but as a white person (according to legend the curse was done by poc) I don't think it's their place to fuck with it. I just have an awful feeling. Advice?
Wow, yikes. (Sorry for the delay; Tumblr didn’t notify me of this message.)
My advice: Get their nose out of it, that is definitely NOT something to mess with, and especially not for them to mess with alone. Go with your gut. If it feels awful to you, there’s probably a reason. Something is telling you to stop it.
First of all, if you’re around this person often or they intend to try taking control in your presence: Protect yourself. Shield yourself from wayward energy, create a decoy so anything aiming for anyone ASSOCIATED with your friend goes to that instead of you, pray for your gods/guardians/spirits to watch your back if you have someone you trust to stay vigilant. Whatever you have to do, protect yourself.
Especially if it’s not massively negative but this person plans to make it more negatively effective. It’s the snowball rolling down a hill effect, you know? It can gather more and more momentum until it snowballs out of control, hits something in its path, and explodes everywhere.
We can’t always stop our friends from doing something stupid. I guess, protect them too, if you think you can. (Preferably they’ll be protecting themselves, but if they’re actually planning to take control of a historical spell like that, their foresight is probably not that strong.)
Second: hijacking spells is an INTENSE working. If I’m reading your friend’s intention right, they’re planning to, essentially, dismantle the original caster’s intention and rework it with their own, to their own advantage. (Which, with curses, tends to backfire immensely. Because curses tend to have “I’m angry at you, don’t touch me” energies built right in....)
Even if you’re just redirecting it, there’s a huge chance your energies won’t be able to overpower the original energies, or the energies won’t match up in a way that yours affect them enough to change anything, or there’s a protective backlash just waiting to happen... Curses on places tend to carry a LOT of momentum, and changing that is like trying to redirect a falling boulder.
Not to mention, the point of a curse is to bring negativity. By virtue of being a curse, your friend using it to their advantage is going to require a powerful 180 swing on its very core. Not a lot of spellworkers can take in an energy that powerful, assimilate it without being affected themselves, rewire the spell to do what they want it to do, and send it back out without getting some of that curse-y residue left on themselves in the process. Even the original casters get stuck with curse gunk.
I can’t even imagine how hard you’d have to fight to grab a curse with HISTORY.
And there is always, always the risk of their attempt going haywire. They might just end up charging this thing up without being able to control it. There might be misfires. They don’t know this curse inside and out, like the person who originally cast it did.
If you can’t dissuade your friend from doing this thing, try to redirect them? There has to be a reason they think they want/need to do this. So if you can’t get them to abandon the plan: I’d offer alternatives.
If they need a curse, they should cast their own. Maybe something to work alongside the current one, if they really, really feel the need to curse. They can take some energy from your local earth and trees and buildings or something for that Customized Effect. And they can call on events/energies/spirits that were there in the past if their reason has any historical element to it.
There are just so many better ways to accomplish whatever they’re trying to do, I’m sure.
As far as the caster being POC: Disclaimer, I’m mixed-race White with some American Indian blood, so this might not be my place to speak. But unless the curse was cast with intention and effect related to race, or by a group or ritual closed to lineage or place of origin or something: I don’t think that would have any effect on this outcome.
If it was a POC getting revenge for a racist act, for instance: Yeah, that’s probably going to backfire HARD. But if the caster sent the curse out to harm the economy of the town, wholesale: it wouldn’t matter who’s messing with it, white or otherwise.
Personally, and I do put a lot of emphasis on this being my PERSONAL take on the situation: It’s not a matter of cultural appropriation, just because the caster was POC.
Like, if a Hindu in my area sends out a prayer to one of their gods for financial boons in the temple, and I walk by and take the energy of that for myself: That’s overstepping a line. There’d be a conflict of culture and pantheon to resolve. Hinduism is a closed religion; they’re likely praying to a certain god or group; it’s specifically directed to them; I believe there are specific rituals involved in Hindu temple prayer; etc. etc. etc. That’s not my culture, it’s theirs; the prayer was sent within a closed culture context.
But if my black neighbor puts a sigil of protection on their garden, a universal act without any associations with their heritage, and I take the cloth they painted it on and placed it on my own garden, stripped their energy, and repurposed their sigil with my own energy: I still stole their spell, but it’s not an issue of cultural appropriation. Because the spell wasn’t affected by them being black, or me being white. Does that make sense?
Anyways, if they’re going to try replicate a culturally-closed ritual or prayer or practice, that’s an issue. Definitely do NOT fuck with that, they’ll just be ASKING for gods and spirits of the caster’s culture to come down on them.
But they really, really really shouldn’t try to take charge of a curse cast on an entire town. Even if it IS just a rumor: In my experience, the belief of the locals feeds into it being there, whether it originally was or not. That’s reckless, dangerous, and there are just so many ways it could go horribly, terribly wrong.
My advice is definitely to try and dissuade and redirect them as best you can. And if you need any more help, let me know. I’ll keep a closer eye on this inbox henceforth.
Best of luck to you-- to BOTH of you.

Faith that weigh a trillion tons Thank God for everything good His word is a nourishing food Emerge from the scorching coals and ice fire of your existence Transform yourself before you remain in ashes' realm...seek repentance The good news of the Kingdom of God is ringing in my ears Wondering when it will be that day of awesome forever years I will walk and walk And I will talk my talk I will practice what I preach To the pupils, I will teach Fret not the desires on fire and the passionate petitions of your young heart Do not worship other gods before Him - Frey will fade away from the start The gods of the east have come to get their revenge towards the gods of the east The battle between them is beast...it's like enjoying a feast of chaos and commotion and peace and emotion...but their attitudes puff up like the bread ingredients that includes yeast Inspired by (Matt. 7:13), (Matt. 11:29) and (Hebrews 11:24)
Imagine we live in an eco-normative story
of competing for wealth-commodities, cash piled in quantifiable currencies, collectively blinded to our Win-Win natural economic, ecological, psychological, biological health and well-being value roots. One day, our Permacultural Received View unveils a co-operatively synergetic evolution of positive health and articulation of mutual subsidiarity-- natural laws of economic and political and psychological and biological health and survival through thrival Permacultural Design, (and Taoist, and Buddhist, and JudeoChristian, and Islamic, and UU, and Sikh, and Hindu, with Ecological Wealth objectives defining spiritual principles, procedures, ethics laws of co-operative solidarity, co-passionate peace with ecojustice for all, mutually subsidiary freedoms to live full healthy lives balanced with freedom from dying deadly unhealthy deaths. Oh, yes! this feels familiar somehow. This appositionally poignant permaculture spectrum originates with the emptiness of winter's purgation, death, to evolve bio-systemically toward, to incarnate as to inform, to revolve full cycle to incorporate the opposite end of life's spectrum, not mere half-assed egocentric and anthrocentric competitive life, but fully sustainable health and well-being wealth from now through our grandchildren's grandchildren, and all their several cousins of diversely rainbowed and sensually intelligent holonic RNA/DNA-encrypted encrypting, predicting, forms with functional memory eco-logical species, bio-logic information processor systems, bicamerally fully conscious. We reverse our Left-brain dominant economic overshoot! Yeah us! As our cognitive disconnection from our own permacultural story evaporates, this confusion about measuring wealth with money rather than with sustainable, ecological health, about-faces toward inclusively co-operative survival of the most synergetically interdependent systems, evolving, positive deviant psychologizing new economizing healthy wealth, rather than BusinessAsUsual industry, pursuing toxic short-term Win-Lose evolutionary designs and plans for exponential development; collective worship of Left-brain dominant Ego-theism rather than continuing our pilgrimage toward Left-Right bicameral mutual governing equivalence values following a nutritional thrival trail back to our Original Big Bang ProGenitor, TransParent Pre-Temporal Timing of our Elder Right lens back through nutritional enculturing transparently binomial, time's core spinal prime-fold, erupting solid massively dense formation out informing polyculturing functions, flow streams, frequency intervals fractal seasonal revolving rhythms of radiantly Bi(0)-versive Exodus of Love's enlightening Time. When we choose healthy co-operative survival optimization by starving competition to accumulate wealth deposits, we will address stealth impoverishment, now feverishly hiding within un-consciousness of economically and politically and ecologically violating Golden Rules that advocate health and sustainable hope for all Earth's Grandchildren; the pan-ultimate measure of a culture's true wealth is its mutually balanced positive through double-negative nutritional feedback loops, seeking our Zero-Sum Co-Operatively Healthy Win-Win Eco-Normic Game Plan. Polynomial Power sustainably optimizes where monomial center trends toward Universal Co-Passion, healthy fulsome fusing flows and frequently reiterated functional patterns of HereNow TransParent Bicameral Consciousness, Ego as SoleSubject greets and mutually bows toward Eco-Logical WeSelf-as-SuperEco's Objective, Correlational, Co-incident, Bi-Nomially Permaculturally Balancing Time's 3-dimensional bodymind Space, Place, Pace of unfolding polyculturing Beloved Community Memory and ReDevelopment. PermaCulturists, like messianic shamans of all times and cultures, steward natural systems with a mutual-mentoring premise. Our Host Environment, EcoSystem, is both our Subject in the present moment and our Objective reconnecting toward a shared cooperative future, inclusive of all endogenous natural systems, species, air and water flows, sun and shadow glows. This SuperEco ProGenitor Hosts and Teaches through Elder Memory synchronicity. First, permaculturing prophets and alchemists listen requiring the purgation of Ego- and Anthro- Dominance; recovering EcoCentrism confluent with all SpaceTime balance and harmonies, flows with positive and negative functions, ionic frequencies, ironic humors cognitive dissonance too often hiding psychological dynamics striving for comprehensively balanced Eco-Consciousness, Eco-Zero-Centrism and Balance, as EcoLogical BioJustice Economics and CoOperative Governance. Bicamerally Left-Right confluent con-science brings sustainable healthy wealth of RNA-rooted memory systems. Bicameral Binomial-Consciousness emerges as human nature's cooperative stewardship our co-mentoring vocation, Commons-space syntax shared with equal rights by all Earth's Natural Systems. EgoCentrism is eisegetically held as good and normal and appropriate only as long as AnthroCentrism remains Left-brain Dominant, continues economically incarnating through Win-Lose competitive assumptions rather than choosing permacultural models for EctoSymbiotic Polycultural Revolution. A Bodhisattva-Ego lives in cooperative service with SuperEco, Universally Thermodynamic Balanced (0)-Centric, 4-Prime Dimensional, bio- and eco-logical, caretaker and metric "PlaceHolder" Polyculturist within Earth's RNA-syntax Tribes, encultured fractal (0)-sum economically cooperative souls, blossom Beloved Economic Community in full "Climax", incarnating integrative positive trending economic development, as transmillennial revolution away from pursuing wealth, toward co-operative health as our ecological paradigm for dialogical and economically sustainable re-exodus toward wealth optimization with equivalent creative freedom for all, in Beloved co-passionate peace.

Revolutionary Story
They called their gang The ReVolutionaries, my Father Sun and Mother Earth drew time with them, but they often called themselves Yang and YinYin, respectively and mutually respectful yet privately erotic, not so much politically and economically where Yang could not fit in for rabid competition and YinYin could not alone float her dipolar WinWin health-care priority boat. Where was I in my Creation Geneology, YinYin? Once again you did not get past much of a preliminary introduction, without me, Sugar Daddy Yang. Oh yes, Father Sun and Mother Earth got together co-gravitationally, first creating a nondual revolution out of spacetime's co-arising and revolving implied-fractal-seasoned syntax, natural systemic order of healthy evolution, as not-not pathologically dual-dark devolution, probably too much Yin-recessive in this Yang-dominant Creation Story. Even so, Father Sun with Mother Earth revolved their bilateral health potential. Then, next time you know, here you are, bangin around with too-dominant Left-brained Yang, slippin' in some wise ol' tough love, stirrin' up your Owl with your Moose Medicine for stronger regenerative tissue issues, still struggling between SunPowerLens and EarthFlowLens, primally RNA-balanced informating regenerative health and therapy relationship re-issues articulating as bicamerally climatic neural-temporal boundary tissue, or is it the other way? So confusing all this time travel appositional and dialectical health language, like RNA, pointing toward your lovely and always mindful DiPolar EcoPresence as HereNow Time in self-refining, reiteratively flowing, spring of love's rich nutritional water and incarnate soil, soul mating Heaven's fire warm photosynthetic transformational co-redemptively climaxing air of sweeping surfing elating Time's Full ReGenerate Occupation, living still within our TransParent Elders, of which we each share equal DNA/RNA neural-temporal regenerative-fractal Implicate-Concave Orders of rhythm and pattern and syntax, folding and unfolding, holonic-Holy Exegetical Syntax Scripture teleologizing enriching enculturing composting time's revolutionary health through TransParent CoOperating Golden Rule of Prime (0)-soul/soil, ego/eco, Interior/Exterior, Fractal PolyCultural Relationship. That's nice, Daddy Yang, having said all that, I'm wondering if I might add that as I most kindly remember, there are two sides to every Creation Story, one is Ego's Yang Exterior Universal view, while EcoOther YinYin echoes our Interior Landscape nondual co-arising love for empathic capacity as rich nutritional experience, co-elational syntax-voices of primal feeling and knowing Yang/Yin is healthier as LoseSome BusinessAsUsual to WinSome YinYin Tipping Point CoOperative Wisdom. Yet even this wu wei PostMillennial TaoZen Bicameral Hybrid Story is not the Fat Lady Death's Door final message you are fearing within YinYin's WinWin EcoRevolutionary 0-soul Creation Story of a bicamerally self-optimizing health and safety global network with local cooperative poli-economic communication guilds, nutrient 0-interest investment through implementation polycultural local ecosystemic-balancing glory, cooperating our WinWin Mutual PolyEnculturation Story. Was that my Fat Lady YinYin? Now you know I am just right for you; you're the one getting too hefty for your own internal and external balancing capacity. Maybe I need more exercise. Maybe you need to get off me, and help me paddle... Did I say "paddle"? Yes, love I know, you mean to flow your Revolution Creation Story right through PostMillennial cooperative enculturation
