about to experience a once-in-a-lifetime event (reread my favourite series for the first time in 2 years and have my perception of it irretrievably change)
#i read the college arc three times back to back and watched the 2nd season#but the first arc... the queen... i only know her from the anime#i only read it once. in a fan english translation. simultaneously with watching the anime for the first time#i didn't care for the characters that much back then so i didn't bother to memorize anything#and now. when i see pages from the first arc. sometimes i feel like i dont actually know the characters at all lol#i'm not a big fan of the style russian manga translators use#but it's still a work of professionals i can trust#so i want to memorize as much important lines as possible and then compare them to czech and english versions#and the anime ofc#i wonder how many years it'll take me to speak japanese well enough to understand mahoyome in original...#this post is a sign for you to go check your local library and see if they have magus' bride#mahoutsukai no yome#mahoyome#the ancient magus' bride#the ancient magus bride#ancient magus bride#tamb
