I can see Sanji acting like this once in awhile when he sees Zoro and Luffy kiss or cuddle but the moment that Usopp and him get together the PDA on the ship gets 10x worse loll

i imagine sanji and usopp pining and swooning over each other (they don't know the other is in love too. they're idiots) and complaining all. the. time. about established zolu bc they're very sappy and extremely careless about their pda. the thing is, zolu's pda is more intimate gestures and touches and being together all the time. they're not THAT loud (except when luffy is, indeed, loud af and yells how much he loves zoro. or when zoro gets a bit possessive. but in general they're very cutie patootie and not that annoying) and tbh the crew doesn't mind when they are being clingy in front of them bc it's kind of subtle and personal and it doesn't bother them.

except that it bothers sanji and usopp (mostly sanji) A LOT. bc it's just a constant reminder that they're single and that they can't have what luffy and zoro have.

BUT THEN!!!!!! then they start dating, finally, and they're so. fucking. annoying. the crew is DONE with them. they are BANNED from pda in front of the others. and ofc sanji does not follow that rule bc he's extremely LOUD and very very vocal about his love for usopp.

you thought it was annoying when he spent the day simping for nami and robin???? well wait until he admits he's in love with usopp and even worse when usopp pays attention to him. horrendous. nami became homophobic that day.
