Absolutely HATE the trope of "Lucas doesn't swear because he's baby uwu and/or Kumatora and Duster dissuade from doing so" because for one thing, Lucas has been growing up/acting more like an adult post chapter 3 and beyond, and that's a huge aspect of Mother 3; and for another, do you really think Kumatora wouldn't be having the time of her life teaching this gentle and soft spoken 13 year old some of the FILTHIEST words in her vocabulary???

Also he has no noticable powers, nor actual responsibilities tbh. He's Spiderman like how spider-therapist is Spiderman.

He's is not contacted by Spider society because Miguel is jealous of him sustaining a family in another universe doesn't like anomalies. Howl knows of Spider-verse and all but is, as always, an unbothered icon.

that's a direct quote from an email i received from my uncle a few days ago. tell me friends, did it make your skin crawl as much as it made mine? because i went "eurgh!" out loud.

context: he recently found out (through my twin sister outing me to my extended family) that i'm transitioning and that i was having top surgery.

my top surgery date was 27th march. his email was sent on 2nd april. it's giving "shutting the barn door after the (titless) horse has bolted".

other highlights from his email include:

mentions of an unnamed friend who allegedly transitioned from female to male, regretted it, detransitioned and now bemoans being "ugly" and "flat chested".

being told that i am a very pretty girl

being worried about what my potential partners in the future will think of my "lack of breasts" and "awful scarring".

telling me that it's very selfish to be having surgery when his ex-wife has been waiting years for a "life saving operation" (exact operation is unknown, when i asked mum for more context she said she doesn't have a clue what he's on about because his ex-wife is in perfect health) and i'm just "jumping the queue ahead of cancer patients that genuinely need treatment".

he closed his email with

"[deadname] i just want you to really consider the impact on everyone else in the family. you're a remarkably intelligent young woman and i just want the best for you.

I have OCs, but no Welcome Home ones. So I decided to start working on some! Please note, the others are sloppy because I just took a paint bucket to them to see what the colors would look like.

I wanted to make a wolf OC that's very sweet but she would come off as scary to some kids. I'm making her with Welcome Home as a show in mind so I tried to avoid making the colors too dull and kept them colorful for a wolf. I'm torn between the navy blue and lighter blue one. Blues seem to fit her well as it replaces grey colors easily. And of course, I kept the yellow eyes. I still want her to be a reminder that she is a wolf, not a dog or tame animal despite her sweet personality. She isn't evil, she's just a friendly wolf that drops by once in a blue moon to make sure everyone is alright and staying safe :)

Aside from that, I kind of wanted to base her crush on someone I find very inspiring. She is a sheep though so it's a bit awkward sometimes...but hey, that only proves this wolf isn't truly baaaa-d like the others! Maybe she'll ask out her sheepish friend?

I think I've been bisexual ever since I was a little kid, in all honesty. You may laugh at me, but I really liked playing my mom's PS2 Lara Croft games. I thought Lara was really pretty and I would often just play around in the levels so I could see her do all those gymnastics. Of course, I didn't realize that was attraction at the time. But I did feel like I was doing something naughty. There was also Abbey from Monster High... Later in life, I would go on to acquire very tiny crushes on women (and like one on a man), and I realized I have types. I didn't really put labels on it until one day where I was watching people describe their sexual orientations, and I thought to myself "But what's that other one...? Ah yes, bisexual. Mhm, that must be me."-

It wasn't really an explosive, "eureka" moment of realization.
