#dragon ball#piccolo#digital art#my art#wip#idek if i'll finish it honestly#i'm having a minute bc the dragon ball style while being my favorite#is so hard to replicate??#probably bc its evolved so much and it depends on what era you decide to pick it up on#early og dragon ball?? toriyama's buu saga dbz??? maybe even toyotaro's recent dragon ball super work#now there's the superhero movie which i love but 3D is on the table#idek what i'm aiming for here i just nabbed a bunch of references from different canon sources and ended up with this#and ended up blending my style with the db style#i just know piccolo's lacking cranium capacity here#i'd love to archive dragon ball style samples at some point in my life#imm sure a lot of franchises have this sort of 'problem' but dragon ball's is very much cemented into the franchise#another example's hotel transylvania whose art style becomes toonier and more rubber hosey as it keeps having sequels
