Hi okay- I’m a huge remarried empress fan, but I enjoy it seperate from tne fandom. That being said- you have so many great points.
1) I do believe the story may have changed, because this is supposed to be based off a web novel. Like an actual novel. Often times they will deviate from the novel to change the story. Take Who Made Me a Princess. The artist at the end of it did say they changed the story ending for it. So it’s very plausible.
2. SOUVESHU (look I’m a fan but I can never remember how to spell) DEFINETLY GROOMED RASHTA!! Though I don’t agree with her actions, I have 100% acknowledged and know she is deeply traumatized. And he most likely took advantage of that. He saw her as young and pure, something Navier was not. And he wanted to preserve that. Rashta is clearly traumatized, and her mental health is not healthy. It is easy to take advantage and manipulate sadly because she does not know the warnings. He groomed her and when she was finally trying to be more like someone she thought he wanted, Navier, he lashed out. No one gets she is constantly comparing herself!! She does not know how to love herself!! And that is the most damage. I wish they would pick up on that. I love Navier but she can be so oblivious to that due to her anger and betrayal at Soveshu. I think if Rashta had proper care and been trained,!- did Soveshu could just fucking communicate and not be a groomer, this could all have been avoided. Navier is also at fault for not see this red flag in him??? But she was so angry and maybe jealous and wanting to back stab I think it clouded her judgement. If she slowed down and actually had a conversation- it would be okay.
3) there is so much wasted potential in all the characters!! Is Navier is getting this magical stuff sorted why can’t she just acknowledge it and work for something with it? Use it to her advantage. I wanted to see her stand up to Heinrey for taking her mages. I wanted to see her stand up to Soveshu. I want to see her just fight for herself. But she doesn’t say much. She’s so strategic with everything and it’s like it wasted her potential. Why can’t she just speak out?? It does feel very much like she turned into a Mary Sue. I want to see more of her flaws. Like one we all think is pretty when is a flaw is that she has no want to speak out and is held back and refined! I think they are trying hard to point onto her upbringing and that she’s “higher” than everyone else. When like- yes she’s an empress. But there is so much more then that we should be able to read about!! We need more scenes of her having friends for peat sakes that isn’t gossiping or talking about men and other things. Where did the potential go??
I really wanna see how it ends and hope it turns into a better direction. I also need to read the book too.
TLDR: you make so many good points and I wanted to expand on it as a fan of the series who does acknowledge all these points.
1: I did read the novel out of curiosity since everyone was saying it was better then the manhwa. The manhwa was pretty loyal to the novel and while it was still really iffy with protagonist centered morality I felt it could get away with it more since it was in first person therfore it's possible Navier could be an unreliable narrator. Another difference I noticed is that while the manhwa felt actively malicious against Rashta and making jokes about her trauma when she cries or looks for attention, the novel is more complex about it and it feels more sympathetic then something to laugh at. The whole slavery being ignored and characters getting away with shitty behavior unfortunately still lasted but given how it was more complex with it's characters I think it was an unfortunate result of the author getting a little too carried away with the readers desires to see more fluff. Gotta say I don't hold as much animosity toward the webnovel but it's still not my favorite.
2: I'm really happy to see that I'm not the only one who thinks Rashta got groomed. Even if she's not a child, she's still mentally stunted and grooming can occur at any age since it is the desire to take someone who is easily influenced and molding them into whatever you desire. Honestly though I think it makes sense that Navier wouldn't immediately see any red flags from Sovieshu given that their childhood together was happy and geninune, it's common for victims in abusive relationships to not see who their abuser really is at first which really made Navier escaping even more satisfying.
3: on one hand Navier not being able to speak up makes sense since what is she really gonna do if the Emperor brings in a concubine without breaking royal protocol, on the other hand it is so OOC of her in later seasons when she is described as someone with witty comebacks and is no damsel in distress yet in season 2 and 3 she does absolutely nothing since Heinrey and her other friends do it all for her. They think this makes her really charismatic but that only ever works for villian characters who are mysterious and too classy to do the dirty work, when the protagonist does this over and over it gets boring and you wonder if she's really supposed to be the protagonist at all.

HERE is how solo leveling anime can and will benefit orv as well; a short list made by yours truly
Number 1: They're both korean webnovels with a manhwa adaptation and more often than not they go hand in hand. If you see one solo leveling post, regardless of the social media, like on twitter tumblr reddit tiktok etc etc, 9/10 orv is going to be brought up in one way or another
Number 2: the manhwa is done by the same studio. that alone makes them half-siblings / siblings by another mother, if you will
and last but not least my most powerful point of this list, Number 3: sung jinwoo is objectively hot, and do you know what fans like to do with hot characters? they ship them with others. after a group of fans who like to ignore the semantics of power scaling and bait questions like "but can he beat goku" they'll take refuge to our lord and savior AO3. and what is the most famous couple in solo leveling ao3 you might ask?! well I'm happy to answer: it's sung jinwoo x kim dokja.
now picture this. you're a new fan. fresh out of the latest anime episode, you finished screaming about it on your main platform so you head over to SL ao3 and see, a new name. who is this kim dokja? you ask yourself. is it a character that appears later on in the novel? out of curiosity, you read SL (manhwa and/or novel) and realize that, oh, kim dokja is Not a character in SL at all. and then you google his name and *gasp* kim dokja is the main character of a whole nother novel with much better plot and character dynamics??? people in that fandom have also said that this novel changed their brain chemistry for life??!!
TL;DR you can't help but start reading orv as well after catching up to orv manhwa. ur welcome!!!!!

hi audriel! Didnt know you had tumblr and had to double-check. I really love your fangrui fics on ao3! I noticed some were taken down? And thank you so much for always posting fangrui pics on discord!! Really appreciate it. Really like how approachable and friendly you are on discord, feels like talking to a friend who you can gush about fandom stuffs with, hope you have a good day ahead!
questions, when did you first started to like qzgs, and what made you do it? What are your top 3 fav chars? Did it ever change? What do you like about them?
hi anon! actually, i made my ao3 and tumblr account almost at the same time, so you're safe! i joined discord pretty recently, that's why i unfortunately lost my chance to use the name audriel there >_<
another fang rui lover! thank you! i'm glad you like them! <333
i'm just so happy that i found people who loves qzgs to gush over together. and to spread all the fang rui love. so thank you for being so kind and welcoming! it took quite a lot of courage for me to finally ask to join the server, and participate actively. it's thanks to everyone in the discord.
are you asking the moon in autumn? it's still there, but only accessible for ao3 users since it's a long fic, and i do have concerns for data scraping for fanfictions. if let's start thinkin' bout it gets long enough, i might end up doing the same. i might only unlock them for few days when there's a new update.
now onto your questions!
i'm pretty sure it's due to the pandemic. since i started to read a lot of korean webtoons/manhwa that's almost always adapted from webnovels, i ended up reading a lot of them during that time (there was not much to do but stay at home after all). however, they were very rarely completed. oh the horror. so i looked for recommendations and there was quan zhi gao shou/the king's avatar on the list. it's highly rated and reviewed, and it's completed! even though it's chinese webnovel and not the genre i usually read (online games, more so professional gaming), so i gave it a try, and boy i'm so very glad i do. i'm hooked.
it has everything i love to read in a story: a smart, powerful protagonist; rich, complex characters and world; and a wonderful storytelling.
the only downside? i'm late to the the fandom. QAQ
i think we all love ye xiu, it's no brainer right? he's perfect but also imperfect at the same time. his strength in character and in his belief is so admirable that i sorely wish i had a fraction of it. but at the same time as a protag, we didn't see much from his perspective. so he's not the character i resonate with the most. definitely top three, but not the top. qiao yifan was my best boi then. i can relate with his struggle the most. and i love seeing him learning and growing under ye xiu's wings. from the transparent tiny herb player to the most stable, reliable happy rookie. i'm so looking forward to the person he'll be in the future.
then there's fang rui. he's overshadowed by huang shaotian at first. huang shaotian is so lively, so distinctive, so difficult to look away from. so at the beginning my top three was qiao yifan, ye xiu and huang shaotian.
only on my reread that fang rui finally caught my eye. at first, he and huang shaotian look so similar and differ greatly with other oh so serious captains and god-level players in that they are bright and lively, and they are open with their emotions. but i end up thinking twice at the latter. huang shaotian is an open book, fang rui is not.
wait, wait are we reading the same novel?
fang rui feels like an open book, because we have seen his own perspective, we've seen his thoughts and emotions. but whenever we've got outsiders' perspective on him, fang rui is always playful even he performs badly. if anything, he acts out, hams it up, just like when he miscommunicated with mo fan or when he lost so badly that he sat in the corner to reflect. when he's troubled, most often he closes up, just like when lin jingyan approached him when tyranny dropped by or when he was so tired after taking on zhou zekai and lu boyuan in his bad condition.
meanwhile, huang shaotian can put up a public persona like the celebrity he is, but overall he doesn't really bother to hide how he feels, just like when he didn't want to talk after he lost in the finals and when he questioned yu feng after he went to hundred blossoms (even he got the first turn in beating up liu hao lol). in summary, huang shaotian is the real open book. we can count on him for being honest, and also being loyal. while at the same time, he's such an stealthy assassin and deadly opportunist on stage. it makes him such an appealing character and a favorite among the fandom.
but for me, the complexity and contrast of fang rui really caught my eye. that there's more to him that it meets the eye. which is admittedly my favorite type of character. it shows that he has an exceptional emotional intelligence, he understands emotions, his own and others, and he doesn't shy away from it, more so, he owns it. i have admiration for calm and composed characters, but i admire more those who obviously struggling with his emotions but still retain their calm and composure. and that fits fang rui to the t.
because damn, when we put it into context, fang rui has the hardest time in season 10. ye xiu (and qiao yifan) did have a hard time with their previous team, ye xiu can be also said as the reason for excellent era, his beloved team's demise. but the fans and later qiu fei gave him hope for the team to be reborn, then su mucheng joined him in happy, all he needs is to focus on the championship that he's back in the alliance. fang rui?
he has to leave his beloved team and account, then he transforms to a completely different class with a wholly new account, at the huge risk to himself, then he has to fight his former partner/mentor repeatedly until being the one to end lin jingyan's career. the latter feels dramatic, but considering how fang rui's performance is visibly affected by lin jingyan's decline, i'm not surprised if that's how it feels from his perspective. and yet... he gives himself the hardest time when he performs badly in the finals, for not giving his best for happy. he just wanted to return the trust given to him. even though he was exhausted, he still did his best to assure the team. i just... the moment i put things into perspective, i think fall in love right then and there, and there's no coming back from it.
so my current top three: fang rui, qiao yifan, and ye xiu.
i think there's a pattern right there. all three are happy. all three have transformed. all three have left their teams, not by choice. all have suffered rejections and come up victorious.
thank you for the wonderful ask! i don't mind if you have more questions! i enjoy it very much! i can do the same for you if you wish. just let me know!

HEY THERE!!
What's your favorite webtoon?
G'day!! (●'◡'●)
Hiii! It's nice to meet you and thanks for sending this ask ☺️ I would like to share my top 5 favorite and I hope you don't mind me sharing a little bit why I like them ✨
1. The Sound of Magic: Anarasumanara (Drama)
The art of this webtoon is so gorgeous and every panel is deliberately drawn to convey a strong message. I remember crying when I first read this series. I can say this is one of webtoon's hidden gems (hidden in a way that it is locked behind daily pass 😅), but this is worth the effort of unlocking every chapter every day. (Also, I'm curious about the live action adaptation of this webtoon 🤔)
2. The Horizon (Drama)
Another short hidden gem locked in daily pass. Trigger warning: it has a dark and depressing content. If you are emotional like me, I suggest preparing tissues while reading this because this series also made me cry in some chapters. I love how this webtoon is drawn, it adds depth to how devastating the setting of this series.
3. Omniscient Reader (Action)
This is still ongoing and all chapters are free to read! I think you will love this series (because I noticed you like Jujutsu Kaisen 👀). The action scenes (and every chapter, tbh) were drawn beautifully and the entire theme of being a reader transported to the world of your favorite webnovel is greatly executed. What I like the most about this series is all characters are three-dimensional. Despite having supernatural powers, you can still feel their humanness. I first read this as a webnovel and fell in love with it instantly. I love Kim Dokja and if I were a character in this series, I'll also do my best to protect him (even though I know it's pointless 🤣)
4. Like Wind on a Dry Branch (Fantasy)
A gorgeous ongoing series about pain of losing someone you love, the hardships of finding your life's purpose, healing from all the past trauma you have, and finding love once again. This is a slow-burn romance between the two leads and what sets it apart from other fantasy manhwa set in historical is it lives by its historical setting. The language used by the characters is the formal old English, that's why many dropped this series when it was still at its early serialization because they had a difficulty understanding the conversation between characters 🤣 BUT!! it's worth every effort and time, and you can't help but love Rieta and hope for her happiness.
5. See You in My 19th Life (Romance)
The author of this series is one of my favorite webtoon artist & writer. The way she writes a story is satisfying from the beginning to end, with a lot of surprising twists here and there. That's what she pulled on this series. It's about a woman who have lived through 18 lives and she can all remember clearly, so she no longer feels the beauty of living because of it. But on her 18th life, she met someone who made her want to be an ordinary girl and enjoy being alive again. However, their time was cut short due to an accident. When she realized she's reborn in her 19th life, she promised herself that she will find him again and continue the promise they made together.
Bonus:
How to Survive a Romance Fantasy (Fantasy/ Comedy)
This one is the most unserious webtoon I have ever read. If you just want to have a good laugh and read something very unserious from beginning to end, then I highly recommend this series.
Thank you again for this ask 🤍 it's been a while since I talked about my favorite series so this truly brighten up my day! I hope you have a lovely day ahead as well~ 🌻💞
Also~ I added the link to every series in case you (or anyone who sees this post) are interested to read them!

like no pressure, i don't even know if you read it in english! so no worries if you don't have any advice haha i just thought i would ask. i have been having trouble even figuring out how long it is or how many versions (there's a webnovel...and a manhwa...and then a second version of the novel? maybe??), let alone whether official english translations exist (i have managed to find an unofficial translation of the novel but i'm not sure of the quality or completeness and of course it's nice to support the work if possible). so i'd be grateful for any guidance ^^ ty!
Don't worry about it, I'm happy to help!
I did read it in English, mostly because there aren't Spanish translations of most asian webnovels for the most part
Yeah, there are two versions of the novel, because they change some story parts (without getting too much into spoiler territory, there is an arc with less than warm feelings towards Japan, we could say and other changes that I'm not aware of)
The webtoon has a gorgeous artstyle, but I do not reccomend reading it as your first, because 1. they cut some things of the story, mainly some character interactivos and 2. ORV is a story that takes full advantage of being a novel, so it loses some of that when translated to another medium. The webtoon hasn't finished, so it's not complete yet.
This novel has around 530 chapters, so it's quite lengthy, but in my experience, it never feels like a chore to read.
Ah, what else I could say? Killer cast of characters and a good amount of well written badass ladies
I hope this was helpful and enjoy the story!

Carlton Javier (manhwa) appreciation post
Did I just finally get up to date with the manhwa for singNsong's The World After the Fall in part because of my love for Carlton Javier? Yes. Yes I did. (I mean also for ORV crumbs but Carlton got me through the rest). Spoilers for the novel and manhwa below. (Also this is focused on Jaehwan/Carlton as well :D)
The moment you know your ship is technically canon. Like damn the way he just... grabs Jaehwan's hand. Also Carlton is so much taller than he is alkdjladja. Jaehwan just lets any man grab his hand so long as they have bondage magic and are half-angel I guess (very valid of him).
When you walk into the club happy your husband is there for you after he blew holes in the roof to make you stop by.
This panel is just beautiful.
Fallen (half-)angel.
Poor Carlton, still working for your husband, slaving away at the desk. Chibi Carlton kills me. Jaehwan reassuring Carlton about his unique world just ends me T-T It's nice to know that Carlton is training like the others!
Baby got an outfit upgrade (looks more like Jaehwan too alkdjlaj when you're in love and match your outfits to each other alkdjlaj) and followed his husband to the Abyss after all. I love him. His finally being recovered and coming back to fight at Jaehwan's side just ahhh T-T
Goodness is he cute. And he's almost always next to Jaehwan in this arc T-T As is kind of explained later, Jaehwan demanded that Carlton (and Cheongeo) be let into the Factory with him, which is amazing. I just love that he values the guy so much??? Jaehwan canonically wants Carlton (and Siren, Cheongeo, and Caiman) at his side.
Also legitimately curious why they gave him pointed ears, which he's specifically not supposed to have. I guess making him shine silver all the time would be kind of difficult, but it's a very strange change, since the final version is so specifically the opposite of how he's supposed to look (both the original and the edited version of the novel note he specifically doesn't have pointed ears). I'm not mad about it or anything, just curious.
Baby looking hot and worried for his husband T-T
Carlton going to Jaehwan's side (along with Siren and Cheongeo) and not doubting him when so many others were doubting him, and then supporting him, and Jaehwan leaning on him and I just hnnnnnnn. Ride or die.
Their height difference just makes me laugh aldkjaldja Jaehwan is not short or small alkdjaldja (I mean he's described as frail at one point, but that doesn't explain this alkdjlaj) Carlton is just larger alkdjaldaj But also they're standing side by side T-T
I just alkdjaldaj He's about a head shorter than Carlton alkdjalj this is so funny aldkjaldja I think it's something about the Very Long Legs that makes it more comically silly? It's like xxxHolic but as a shounen. I'm not necessarily against it, it's just kind of funny.
Everyone Jaehwan wanted to go with him. WANTED CARLTON TO GO WITH HIM. WANTED. (Yes, Siren and Cheongeo are in the shot and of course Jaehwan pines for Caiman, but still). Jaehwan wanted him there T-T For someone who spends a lot of time being mad that Carlton is a law enforce and that Jaehwan can't stand him for that, and Jaehwan would rather fight the guy instead, that's character development.
And of course I got more of him do u think me a fool.
Can't upload the other images cause tumblr image limit. I might make a second post of them.
The revised webnovel is on Munpia in Korean. And Carlton's introduction is included in the free chapters. Enjoy.
#Carlton Javier#singnsong#undead gamja#the world after the fall#twatf#me: I love blonde lawful good Sephiroth#book: he's literally a half-angel#me: spits out tea#Karlton Javier#멸망 이후의 세계#is the story good no not really#but Carlton and the orv tidbits are worth it#also Jaehwan has good angst once in a blue moon#and the fight scenes in the manhwa are pretty#also it has hot dudes every five seconds like hot damn#Undead Gamja doing gods work on these extras#yeah you don't have a description you're sexy now#bless#if you like the manhwa I would suggest giving the novel a shot#because like orv the novel gives a lot of context the manhwa leaves out

hi i recently got into the webtoon of tged and binged all translated chapters in like two days
and so i went thru the tumbr tag and i found a lot of ur posts regarding llojavi and the webtoon
and well. my opinion of the manhwa has been kinda dampered hearing abt how it differs from the webnovel and the direction that the adapters are taking it in
so basically all this to say that i just wanted to know where i could read the webnovel LOL
is there an epub version that i could download of it? or any site? same for the sequel
anyways thank you for letting me know about the existence of the novel and how different it is in comparison to the manhwa
(sorry for the long ask skdhskd btw llojavi is sooo real. i cant believe theyre gayer in the novel apparently?!?! and that it was cut out of the manhwa ?!?!?!do u think that they’ll become canon or do i have to continue reading llojavi fanficfion and pretend its canon)
hello hi!!
i'm kinda sorry i dampened your experience with the webcomic tbh! that's not my intention!! which i know it's hard to believe considering how salty i am about it but i really just want to share how much,,, better it could be xD
as for where you can read the webnovel! you can download the yonder app, with the official translation! it's on daily pass or pay for read but it's very ahead already, so you can binge at your heart's content!
or you can go here and start reading it for free but i do have to warn you that it is very behind in comparison, it should have a consistent update schedule tho :]
as for the sequel! here you go <3
and it was absolutely no problem! i am pretty much just talking to myself here but if i can get at least one more person to read the webnovel i will be forever happy <333
(they are so much gayer on the webnovel it's unbelievable! half of my blog is just yelling about how insane they are about each other, i am constantly amazed at how webtoon only fans still ship them cause the webcomic stripped down so much of the homoerotism that's happening in the webnovel but like,,, truly that's just proof the gay cannot be truly erased akjshdksjdf
alas. it is not canon. but honestly, i think it was for the best, with the way bk moon writes canon romances, had he tried to make llojavi canon i don't think it would've worked nearly as well. there's something about writers trying to write a deep, tender and devoted relationship without making it gay that just produces the most natural and organic homoerotism possible lmaooo)

List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the askbox for the last 10 people who reblogged something from you! Get to know your mutuals and followers (ू•‧̫•ू⑅)♡
Ahhh hi hello ❤️!!!! Hm let's see:
1. Books/Stories/Reading
Always!! I'm normally reading something or the other, whether it's fanfic, a webnovel, a novella, manhwa, manga, or something. I enjoy DnD a lot for that same reason, and my favorite type of game is an RPG of some sort shjdndjwmdks. I'm honestly more of a reader than a writer, but the only reason why I even began to start writing anything was because I like reading and wanted more to read but about my own characters ^^;
2. Art
Both drawing and actually viewing! I like going out to museums and galleries just to look around when I have time (which is not often ;-; unfortunately). Landscape paintings of water or bodies of water will continue to drive me insane they're always lovely. I like art a Normal Amount and I won't lie when another con comes I may be down more money buying prints again sjsjdhdjs. I also like to do art for myself and friends when the art block lets me and atm its currently cooperating, so fingers crossed it stays that way.
3. Tea
I'm kinda indifferent about coffee?? It's never really done anything for me caffeine wise and the taste is alright (I don't know if I'm doing it right tbh dhsjsnj). But I adore tea specifically jasmine green and black tea. I do take mine with what I like to say is a decent amount of sugar but I have a friend with a bigger sweet tooth so I don't think the amount I put is bad? I hope? Milk tea is really good too :D
4. Night time/ Evening
Mainly cause I like looking at the sky around this time and it's peaceful. Especially summer evenings when it's been really hot all day and the only time it starts to get like a reasonable level of heat is right before the sun sets; its nice to sit outside and just relax during this time. Also cause the sky turns color going pink and purple before the stars come out and those are another treat to see.
5. Cats
Every day I mourn the fact that I don't own one of my own but I adore them and their little faces and horrible/fantastic attitudes. Watching videos of them doing dumb things brings me joy like nothing else, and the few times I've met one that deigned to let me pat it made me feel like king of the earth. One of these days, I'm finally gonna give in and adopt one. One day T^T
#ask meme#get to know me#ngl i finished the second one and blanked for a good while lol#this was fun!!!

About Me!
・❥・hello!! welcome to my blog, there's no distinction here between my personal ramblings or my writing, especially bc i'm a perpetual oversharer with no real thread connecting my thoughts whoops
・❥・chronic yapper, i fear, described often as 'talking incessantly' by others, the only thing protecting you is the lack of voice messages
・❥・ironically bad at texting, i will try my best, but sometimes i just forget </3
・❥・despite my bad habit, i do try to connect to others!! i tend to msg people randomly, and i'm not afraid of double texting (again, ironically, considering i'm a bad texter dkjfldksfj)
・❥・being annoying and awkward is my second nature, at least until i'm comfortable and start getting mean (affectionately), please do tell me directly if you're not okay with that, and if i'm getting too much! i will understand <3

(FUCKING TUMBLR POSTED THIS BEFORE I WAS DONE ADDING TO IT AGAIN RAGHHHHH...whatever just take these)
HAPPY FIRST MANHWA/WEBNOVEL POST OF 2025 LETS GO BESTIES!!!!!!
Titles discussed:
the hunter's going to lay low / the hunter wants to live quietly (manhwa + webnovel)
omniscient reader's viewpoint (webnovel)
count tachibana (manhwa)
the hunter's going to lay low / the hunter wants to live quietly: another action dungeon-crawler BL, it kept popping up so I decided to pick up the manhwa and ohhhh my god. I was enjoying this one a lot so I decided to pick up the novel and I GOT FUCKING BAITED BY THE UNSERIOUSNESS. DO NOT LET THE TITLE FOOL YOU THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE COMEDY STORY ABOUT A GUY TRYING TO LAY LOW AND RUN HIS SOUP RESTAURANT. the warning signs were there when the ML is a yjh looking motherfucker this is a story about preventing the fucking apocalypse. the story starts off about what you'd expect based on the title and only starts to reveal the Actual plot about 80-90 chapters in, and it gets REALLY sad. once you find out more about what the mc went thru as the number 1 hunter and hero of the country, as well as his "one and only success" you WILL want to eat glass. and part 2 is when the story REALLY leans into the apocalypse genre, it starts to get really fucking bleak. despite that, there are still some lighthearted and humorous moments sprinkled in, and the rship between the mc and ml AOUGH!!!!!!!! it's like they made them in a lab targeted to me, specifically....i love their interactions so so much, from their bickering to the funny moments to the more serious and sad ones...they match each others freak and idk if this novel is 18+ but they DEFINITELY would have extremely nasty disrespectful sex, absolute fucking freaks about each other. this one came as such a pleasant surprise to me since I kind of read it on a whim, and as someone who just finished orv. I think the orv-ers may want to check this one out :) that is all I will say....
omniscient reader's viewpoint: OK I may as well also post my Thoughts about it here now that I've had a few weeks to marinate over the main story + epilogue. man I rly wonder how tf the authors came up with this story bc it literally is a story about Stories: what makes a story, what happens when a story is written, the relationship between a writer, their reader, and the story being told through thr characters. it really reels you in unsuspectingly with the tried-and-true reverse isekai trope and then it starts to slowly reveal its true colours as it gets more and more meta and philosophical. like when I got to the epilogue i felt like I needed a PhD in time travel + philosophy to fully understand what's going on. for a kr webnovel it is packed so densely with lots of interesting ideas that as someone who likes to read and write stories, it led to a lot of fun thought experiments. and I haven't even gotten to the characters yet OUGH they are all so much fun I love them and kdj....ohhhhhh my god kdj....I almost feel like I want to do commentaries on this novel like I used to in high school except instead of doing it for grades I'm doing it cuz I'm insane in the head. anyways I really liked it yes I may have cried 49/51 babey!!! I do think this is worth a read for anyone who likes to analyze the nature of stories and the rship between a writer/reader/character, and I do think it is best experienced as a novel. there are certain aspects where idk how they'll translate it to the webtoon, and I'm even more curious about how they'll translate it to anime + live action without it looking weird or goofy lol
count tachibana: I actually read a chunk of this wayyy back but I stopped bc I saw there's a love triangle that eventually crops up in the story. the art style for this is SO unique and it's actually what caught my eye in the first place, and it also takes place during the Japanese colonial rule, which isnt a time period that I've seen often depicted in manhwa (maybe there are lots out there and i just havent encountered them yet lol). I honestly really do want to continue this one bc the plot so far is intriguing, and the mystery of the "count", the mansion, and the tachibana lineage all tickle my brain is the best way. HOWEVER. I just personally Cannot deal with love triangles (and from previews I Know it's an actual triangle bc the MC kisses the 2nd ML multiple times and when the 2nd ML was introduced he was set up as a romantic rival). listen yall I did my time in shoujo trenches I'm done with love triangles. and the mystery and plot and intrigue itself is enough for tension, as well as the secrets the ML is hiding from the MC so I don't get why they had to throw in a triangle 😭 in my heart of hearts I really do want to pick this one back up again but I just need to mentally prepare myself for The Triangle.
#FUCKING TUMBLR POSTED THIS INSTEAD OF SAVING AGAAAAIIIINNNN FUCKMKKKMKKKM#domo rambles#manhwa posting#wondering if i should make a new tag for these posts. whatevs#domo reads

sorry for not replying that day when you commented on one of my posts asking for recommendations for villainess stories; i wasn't very up to socializing that day or the days surrounding it. i'm currently working on a list currently, but i felt i had a few questions i needed to ask so i can best recommend you stories! :D
>Comics (Manga/Manhwa/Manhua) and/or Light Novels and/or Webnovels? (as in which mediums of stories should i recommend to you?)
>Finished stories exclusively or are ongoing stories also okay?
>Should I include cancelled stories if they're really good?
>Official English Translated stories only or are stories with only fantranslations OK? >>If it's fantransalation, should i only recommend stories that have completed translations? >>>If i can include stories with currently incomplete fantranslations, if fantranslators are on indefinite hiatus currently, what is your limit for like how long they've been on hiatus? Like if fantranslators haven't continued translations for say, 6 months, should I avoid recommending those stories?
>Long Strip or separate pages? (as in the formatting?) >>If both are allowed, what is preference if you have one? >>>If there is a story that I feel is /really good/ but isn't to your preferences according to the questions i've asked, should i still recommend it? (i'll tell you how exactly it doesn't follow the preferences? like if you say you don't want to read long strip comics but i think it's really good long strip story, should i still recommend it?) >>>>if the medium i want to recommend isn't to your preference, but it's better specifically in that medium, should i recommend it specifically that way? (like, say you only want to read webnovel, but it's much better as it's manhua, should i recommend the manhua over the webnovel, or skip over it?)
>Villainess MC exclusively or is it okay if Villainess is major character but not the MC?
>If in a transmitigation story the Villainess must be the character who has transmigrated Yes/No?
>Romance story, Yes/No? (i can elaborate if needed)
>Reverse harem Yes/No? (i can elaborate if needed)
>Revenge-type story or the villainess does her best to avoid being the villainess type story? (eg: the villainess gets back at the heroine/protagonist or love interests for their actions OR the villainess tries to befriend the protagonist and change her fate before she does anything in the orginal plot that makes her "the villainess")
>What is the preferred time for the character who has transmitigated to have done so? (As in, should the villainess have transmitigated as a baby, as a small child, as teenager, right before the time of the typical "rebuking" scene, after the "rebuking" scene?)
>Should the "original plot" (the universe that the character transmitigrated into) have been a romance story? >>Should it have specifically been an otome or is it okay for it have been a novel/webnovel? They kinda have different vibes so that might be important.
>Should the "original plot" have had a female lead or male lead or no preference?
>Do you prefer comedy stories or stories that are very serious or no preference? (i can elaborate if needed)
>Dense/Oblivious MC Yes/No?
>Over-powered MC Yes/No?
I think i have more questions but these are all the ones that come to mind immediately. ahhh. i've been thinking about these questions since pretty much the day you asked for recommendation so i collected many of them. Also I think i probably have more questions to ask that just aren't coming to mind currently.
I hope you are having a good day reze :)
HELP. NO IT'S OKAY IDM
OKAY. TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS: comics or webnovels. finished and ongoing is both okay. cancelled stories are fine. both official tls and fan tls are fine. as for a cutoff date for fan tls, maybe a year? long strip/separate pgs are both fine! if you feel it's good, then i would love to read it and see! villainess mc is a preference but i'd be happy just seeing the villainess play a major part. the transmigrated character does not have to be the villainess, anyone is fine! romance: yes. reverse harem: yes. both revenge-type and avoiding being the villain are great, i love those. for preferred time, i have no preference, any time is okay. idrm about the og plot, but i'm ready to read anything! for the og plot's male/female lead - no preference. no preference between comedy or seriousness, both are good. oblivious mc is good! op mc is also good!
HAVE A GOOD DAY TOO <3

I'm so glad you asked :3
Orv (omniscient reader's viewpoint) is a completed webnovel with a whooping 551 chapters. (plenty of content to keep on occupied)
Orv also has an ongoing manhwa (at 221 chapters rn but 222 updates later today), a live-action drama that finished filming earlier this year and is expected to be released later this year or next year, and an anime in production :D
orv is essentially a story about a man (kim dokja) who's been reading the same story (three ways to survive the apocalypse, or twsa for short) for the last 15 years when it magically comes to life the day the story finishes (because it was a daily update ongoing series) and the day kim dokja finishes reading it. Now faced with the story having come to life kim dokja must complete the scenarios in order to save the world and create the ending he wants to see, which includes seeing the main protagonist of twsa happy and alive by the end of the scenarios.
That's about as much as i can say about the plot without spoiling it too much for you. But orv is a love story (both romantic and not romantic). We've got found family, classic isekai and webnovel tropes like murim and the demon realm, mutual identity theft between characters, mpreg (not the main character but a side character and it's really well done). It's a story for those bad at living and I love it.
how to fix existential dread I do not like how this is a daily occurrence I JUST WANT TO SLEEP.
#let me know if u wanna read it and ill send u the epub file and the link to the manwha#manhwa is also on webtoon but the translation is iffy on their bc its less consistent with the web novel
