Summary: it's go time. franco's final race in f1 for the foreseeable future. you don't want to say goodbye, but is it really goodbye?

You remember when you saw his face not long ago. You had met him at an F3 event and the two of you immediately hit it off and became so close in such a short amount of time. He was your favorite person and when you found out he was moving up to F1, you nearly broke glass with your scream. 

For months, the two of you raced with, and against each other. There were ups and downs but you wouldn’t change it for the world. It was amazing, being able to go to work together and see each other all the time. The two of you were always spending time together in the paddock. For a minute, the world seemed so simple. But it’s gonna be over soon. 

It’s the day of the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi, the final race with Franco, for god knows how long. Neither of you were ready to say goodbye. Sure, you would see each other every so often, but it wasn’t going to be the same. He wasn’t gonna be at every race with you, he wasn’t gonna be on track with you, he wasn’t going to be there after every race to walk you home. 

You had already put on your race suit and made your way to the Williams garage to see Franco before heading over to your garage. When you arrived, you were greeted by a few of the mechanics and engineers. Across the room, you spotted Franco as he was going over some numbers for the race. 

He felt you watching him, looking up and smiling when he saw you. Making his way over to you, he asked what you were doing there. “Just saying hi and good luck today. Also wanted to say I’m gonna miss you on the track. It’s been fun driving against you these past few months.” you say. 

“It’s been a pleasure being able to share the track with you, y/n. I’m going to miss you as well. I’m not sure what’s in store for me but I do know that I don’t want this to be the last time I see you.”

You can’t help but blush at his words. You truly felt like Franco was one of the best things to happen to you. In such a short amount of time, he’s taught you so much and you’re the person you are today, because of him. 

“Let’s make a deal. We promise to see each other at least once a month. I don’t want you to disappear, Fran.” 

“I like that deal. And, I’m not afraid to disappear. My dream was always to make it to Formula 1, and I made it. The one thing I wanted all my life was all mine for a short time. But now it’s time for me to go. If I don’t get the chance to come back to Formula 1 then so be it. The birds will still sing and the leaves will still die. Nothing will change.”

“Everything’s going to change. Who’s gonna make the whole grid laugh? Who’s gonna yap everyone’s ear off? Who’s gonna flirt with all the interviewers?” you ask, laughing to try and prevent the tears from rolling, “Who’s gonna be there to hold my hand and tell me it’s gonna be okay when things go to shit? Who’s gonna put a smile on my face everyday? I don’t want my favorite person to leave.” your tears are falling now. 

Franco’s face falls when he sees how much love you hold for him, he quickly pulls you into a hug that makes you grab onto him so tight so that he doesn’t slip through your fingers. 

“Don’t worry. I know I’ll see you again. You’re gonna win races, beat the competition out of the water. And I’ll still be here by your side, even if it’s not physically. We’re gonna call and text all the time, you’re gonna keep me updated on all the drama in the paddock, especially the drama between George and Max. And you’re gonna become a champion. Okay?” he says, rubbing his hand up and down your back to try and help you calm the tears. 

“You changed my life, Franco. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend in the paddock, or in general. Please don’t be a stranger.” “I won’t. I’m not going anywhere. You’re the greatest thing in my life, butterfly. I don’t think I can live without you now that I know what it’s like to have you here.”

“You’ll make me cry when it comes to an end.” The tears are fully streaming down your face now. Your heart aches not knowing when you’ll be able to race with him again. You breathe him in and fight the tears. 

Alex clears his throat behind the two of you, trying to get your attention. The two of you pull apart and wipe away the tears, looking at Alex as he stands there awkwardly, “Just wanted to let you guys know we have to get ready to get in the cars soon. Bye.” he says, walking away with a small wave. 

Franco and you shared a little laugh before looking at each other and nodding your heads. You reach a hand out for Franco to shake, and he does. “One last time.” you say. 

“One last time.”

Everyone fought hard on the track today. Unfortunately, your engineer told you that Franco had to retire the car during the race. When you heard those words, you just shook your head in disappointment. You were insanely proud of Franco and of how far he’s come, but he got stuck with an awful car. His last race shouldn’t have ended like that. 

But like your engineer said, there was nothing you could do. All you could do now was keep pushing and try and score points for the team. You overtook some cars and now you were approaching the end. You were 2 seconds behind Charles and you were pushing the car to the limit. You kept inching closer and closer to Charles and when you entered a DRS zone, you and Charles fought hard. You pushed and pushed until you finally made it. You ended the race in P3. 

“Congrats, P3. You did amazing this season,  y/n. I’m proud of what we’ve done this season and can’t wait to go again next year. Until then, it’s been a pleasure. Thank you.” you hear through your radio. Your engineer has been amazing through the years and has helped you in tremendous ways. 

“Thanks, man. This season was hectic and tough but we pulled through. Thank you to the team, the engineers and mechanics who have spent countless hours making the car what it is. They did an amazing job and I’m thankful. Here’s to next year.” you say as you make your way to parking your car. 

You get out of the car and are immediately greeted by Carlos and Lando, all of you congratulating each other on everything. You saw your team on the side and ran to hug and high-five them and give them a few more thanks. You’re going down the line when you spot Franco there, absolutely shouting his head off. 

Immediately, you run to him and hug him. You can barely hear him through your helmet and the cheers all around but you make out his words, “I’m so proud of you. This isn’t the end, yeah?”

“Yeah, never the end.” 

You let go and make your way to the cool down room and prepare for the podium. 

When you are called out for the podium, you walk out and smile wide. You’re proud of yourself and the team that helped get you here. You stand tall and look at your team, beaming with pride. They’re all watching you, watching how you hold your head up high despite all the shit that gets thrown at you. In the middle of the crowd, you can see Franco. He’s still cheering for you and you see him scream “That’s my girl.” Causing everyone to turn their heads in confusion. You couldn’t help but laugh at the scene as Franco is giving no fucks and keeps smiling up at you. 

After the podium celebration and post-race interview, you made your way to your garage and you were engulfed with hugs and cheers from the crew. Horner walked up to you and thanked you for the season and that he’s excited for next year. After a ton of pictures, you were able to get a minute to breathe and change out of your race suit. 

You had just finished putting on your shoes when you heard a knock on the door. You open the door and are greeted by a happy Franco. “Hi” 

“Hi, come in.” you say as you open the door wider for him. “What are you doing here? I thought you’d be in the Williams garage right now.”

“I was in there but I wanted to come see you for a minute. There’s something I wanted to talk to you about.”

“Oh,” your anxiety begins to take over, it’s written all over your face and Franco spots it. 

“Oh no, don’t worry. It’s nothing bad. It’s just something I’ve been thinking about. I, um, I have something to confess. Over the time we’ve known each other, I’ve started to notice how happy you make me. I have been too scared to admit it, to you, to myself, but this feeling is something that I want to keep chasing, feeding it more and more every time I look at you, every time I hear your laugh or make your cheeks blush. I was way too scared to admit it, but I want more than to just race by your side on the track. I want to be by your side in life, I want to share my days and every moment with you. I don’t know if you feel the same, but I would be stupid to continue to ignore what I feel, because I’ve never felt something as strong as the love that wraps around my heart whenever I am with you. It’s like you’ve taken over my mind. I wanna tell the whole world about you.”

You could feel tears brimming your eyes, as if you haven’t cried enough today. You grab his hands, feeling his soft touch on yours. Eyes meeting as you smile up at him. Without a word, you lean in and kiss him softly. Your hearts are leaping in a giddy whirl. He’s frozen at first, until he lets in, realizing that he truly loves you so. 

When you pull apart, Franco is left breathless. He can’t believe that just happened. He finally got the girl of his dreams? 

You wrap your arms around him and pull him close to you, “I hope you know there’s no chance I’m ever letting you go, now that I have you. You’re stuck with me for life. We’ll grow old together, and then if we turn into a tree, I’ll be the leaves.”

“There’s no one I’d rather spend eternity with. You’re the number one girl in my eyes and nothing will ever change that. I’m in love with you and it’s a feeling I want to show.” 

It was moments like these that reminds you that sometimes, the heart races faster than the car.

yayyy wooo I made a thing!

Mostly just follows events from the main series (with my own silliness applied), but at the very very end there's a reference to a shot in one of the walpurgisnacht rising trailers. Do with that as you will

Aaand specially for tumblr, the image files + bits and bobs that didn't make it into the final thing!!!

I do definitely suggest looking through the three images, since there's a good few panels I didn't end up using :3

I wanted to have a shot referencing rebellion, but there wasn't enough time in the audio! sad!

This took a while to make (~10 hours drawing, ~3 hours editing), but it was super fun !!! After getting it like 90% done, I ended up shelving it for a week or two BUT I locked in and finished today!! If only the same could be said for my homework, eheh.

I didn't have much of an idea going in BUT the hourglass ended up being a fun theme !!! I'm glad I was able to tie it into the ending.

The part where homura and madoka are silhouetted is probably the most animated, but it was simple enough to do and I think pretty necessary to get the idea across.

Compression probbably made the actual youtube video a bit blurry, but thats okayyy :33 we stay silly!!!

Given that I drew these real small, I think it all might be a bit too zoomed in for what I'd want to be actually animated, BUT that's not a problem for this project 'cause it's staying like this forever >:3c

ALSO for an explanation of the black panels, those are all to indicate a death! Pretty fun if I do say so myself! The first one is obvious, Madoka, the second one is for Mami, and the third one is shared between Kyoko and Sayaka! A candle underwater...

I'm not sure how easy it is to tell the kyoko + sayaka one even has water, but I think it's cool either way!

A/n:Shinigami is just ghost junko change my mind......I love her so much. I forgot if it's been confirmed if vivia can see Shinigami, but I'm pretty sure it's been heavily implied, and it would be weird if he couldn't with his forte also I really like him and wanted to write something with him in it. Shinigami is always in her human form in this.

Everything was quiet at the nocturnal detective agency. You were reading a book vivia recommended you while relaxing on the couch. The only sound that could be heard was the rain pouring outside. Everything was relaxing and quiet

"Masteeeeeer! Come on master I'm sooo bored let's do something"

Except for the death god standing behind you, that is

"*sighs* I am doing something, shinigami, I'm reading"

Chapter 8: Fall Picnic

It was a certain afternoon. Although it was fall, today is blessed with warm weather. I found Bastien dozing off under the tree shade while I was out in the rear garden.

Bastien… is he in the middle of a nap now?

When I tried to quietly get close to him, I noticed that Mell, who was using a soft and fluffy cushion as her pillow, was also sleeping beside him.

Mell: Zzz… Zzz…

Bastien: Zzz… zzz… urr… mm…

It seems like Bastien fell asleep again while caressing Mell’s fluffy fur.

(This atmosphere feels so warm…)

Teddy: Huh? Aruji-sama? So you're here.

In front of us, there's a white sandy beach and... a crystal-clear sea stretching out. The pleasant sea breeze and the sound of waves seemed to welcome us.

Muu: "Wow! The sea really is cool and feels great!"

Lucas: "Fufu, Muu, it looks like you're having a blast."

Watching Muu play in the sea from the shade of the trees are me and the butlers from the third floor.

Lamli: "Buu looks like he's having a good time... I wanna go into the sea too..."

Nac: "Lamli, you've said that just a while ago. Give it up already.  Even though we're taking the turn to rest in Velis... in case of an emergency, we must join immediately."

Lamli: "I know that without you telling me! You're such a pain...  Besides… we need to be on standby for emergencies, but... in this heat...  Wearing these clothes while waiting is... It's just weird!"

Lucas: "I agree with Lamli on that... It's an order from above, so we can't do much about it.  It's only June, so the temperature isn't that high, but... Velis does have strong sunlight."

After walking for a while, we found ourselves in the eastern area of Velis. Velis is divided into four areas, and the east is known for having many restaurants and places to eat.

Muu: "We've been to this place before, right, my lord?"

> "Yes, indeed"

Lucas: "Come to think of it... The last time we came to Velis was last summer. We were assigned to guard the festival... The three of us on the third floor were in charge of this eastern area."

Nac: "It brings back memories. It's almost a year since that request."

Lamli: "Seriously... time flies.  Especially since the lord arrived… The days seem to pass by incredibly quickly."

Nac: "Indeed. I feel the same way. The time spent with the lord is intense, and full of happiness, …. Fufu… probably because there's always a sense of new excitement and discovery with them."

Muu: "I remember! It was a large glass of juice, right?"

Nac: "Yes. It was prepared with the concept of 'Something suitable for the lord who has a heart as vast as the sea'."

Lamli: "And then...! We also gazed at the stars with the lord!  Lying on the beach at night… We spent the best night looking up at the Velis night sky!"

Lucas: “We took turns lying down between the three of us… We lay next to the lord, looking up at the stars.  I actually planned to offer a lap pillow to the lord… but the lord was nervous and refused.”

Muu: "It looks like Mr. Lamli and the others are also having fun, though..."

It was a normal , silence day in the playcare.

All of the toys hanging out together, talking about many thing they happend today and just having some fun , like always.

And it was snacktime how picky call it , she made for All her friend and the other toys some Snacks. For Huggy some Hamburgers, for Mommy somw Pancakes and for the other cookies and cakes.

"Wow Picky you so good at cooking!".

" it Taste sooo good sweetie".

This makes Picky happy

All of ther friends like the food she made..Well not anyone ..

Bron..

He is not in a good mod today, he was grumpy or angry about something. The others tey to make him happy again but nothing helps

" Awwwwww Bron, you can talk to us whats wrong."

Picky looks at him as he calles her that. Nobody calls her like this before but she didn't answer what he said , maybe he needs time to clam down.

The others look as Picky , worried.

Cupid's Writing Diary - 2/4/25

Entry End of Day February 4th, 2025

As Kiwi inspired us and Bee has started posting these, I wanted to as well! Not that there's much to say, ahaha. [Note: he ended up finding a lot to say LOL]

Wrote roughly 400 words today, which is awesome. I haven't been writing much lately despite how strong of a year I started with. I'm sure this is due to my current distractions but I already wasn't writing before Hello Kitty Island Adventure came out~

I've made the executive decision to stick with one project when it's done. A second project will be picked as a backup in case I need an ADHD switchover distraction, but, again, thanks to HKIA, I do not think that'll be necessary at this time.

I always feel weird saying my fics before they're posted, because I'm worried that'll make them boring when the time comes, but I think talking about the plot for this one won't spoil the fun and magic about it?

So, out of my 29 [yikes] options, I have ultimately decided the one want to work on is a fic I've so lovingly dubbed 'Snautism', a name which is slowly becoming the official title work.

This oneshot project started back in July 2024 when my snake hyperfixation took my life over by storm. And, as all things go since playing Danganronpa in 2020, I immediately had to Saiou it. I'm really excited for the plot of this fic and all of the fun snake facts [about one particular species] I can shove in it. At the end of the day, this one is for fun and just for gushing about my love of snakes/this species. There's also just a morph that I think fits very, VERY well. [Multiple, actually, but one more than the others.] Section 1 is completely done, yay! I'm the type to over-edit and despite editing it 5 times there's still things I'm not satisfied with, but that section is officially ready to go out for beta [not that I'd send it early, it'll all go at the end]. Section 2, however, has been driving me mad SINCE July, honestly. I just cannot make up my mind about the order of events or the feelings of scenes and it's driving me mad. Past me would just write it on passion alone and fix the inconsistencies later smh. Still, I just jumped ahead to a different part today and wrote a good chunk of the first big reveal!! Though I'm worried I'm drawing it out too long that it won't hit as good? Eh, I think I'll leave that one up to the beta as well.

I haven't actually got to talk about what snake it is in the fic, though, and I'm SO excited to do that, because these snakes do something so special that I'm just gidddyyy about how in character I think this is going to be. God I hope the humor in this scene lands ehehe. I've always lived by the rule of 'if it makes you laugh, it'll make others laugh' and thank goodness that hasn't failed me yet!

Well, this was honestly extremely therapeutic! And it made me write so that I had something to talk about lol. Who knows if I'll keep it up. Historically, no I won't. But I'd like to think that it's a good first step. And maybe more people than the same three people I tell everything to knowing might be good for me? Dunno. It's been a long and arduous process picking myself back up from the bootstraps of the hellyear that was 2022, but each lttle bit helps! I can tell I'm a LOT better than I was, and I might even get out more than two Saiou fics this year.

Lucas: So Mathis, have you always been spending your birthdays with Jean?

Mathis: Yes! On those occasions, Jean also tries his hand at making dishes that he's not so great at. I enjoy Jean's homemade cooking much more than food bought at Marché.

Jean: I told him that it would be better to purchase some more proper food—however, he wouldn't hear it, saying he prefers this...

Yves: Ahaha. The two of you really do seem more like a real family than just a boy and his butler.

Mathis: Ehehe. I'm glad if you say so.

Mathis: Oh right, Jean. Why did you leave a present by my pillow this year? I was surprised when I saw it there when I woke up in the morning.

alright!! art backlog time, of the stuff i am at least proud of and willing to post! :D

first off, p5r doodles!

i got a friend of mine the game and suffice to say we both cried at the end :'D the second doodle is of me and her, or at least our usual personas! me in akechi's outfit and her with the protagonist's, since akechi is my personal favorite character. the first doodle is just futaba-

as you maybe can see my style, or at least my methods of drawing, have changed a little bit! i feel more comfortable doing more art at once, so i may possibly finally get to work on the fresh dough comic! (yeah i forgot to mention but it got put on hold- eheh- my apologies folks ;-;)

first off on the dnd agenda, we have takuto! a therapist npc i've set up for one of the two parties we have in the campaign i'm co-dming for!

this npc is in fact an entire p5r reference and was in a way made solely to torment that one friend i got p5r, who coincidentally we had finished maruki's palace the day before the session this guy showed up in, so that's fun!

Every moment with Lily is my favourite thing ever! Especially today when we were on call hehe, it's so fun talking to her T T. And, of course, learning Mandarin with her :( I wanna learn Mandarin till I master the language so me and lily can gossip in Mandarin. My favourite moments with Zanna of course watching kdramas together :( especially when she introduced me to new men and boom they're the love of my life now. I'll always look forward to watching some kdramas with her, it's like my escape from reality. I love screaming and fangirling over the male lead with her it's just so fun 😭 we should watch some more :( I missed it so bad ughh
