Prismacolor pencil anon update: got a set of brutfuner watercolor pencils! My cheap ass could NOT refuse 120 of them for 30 dollars, my set of 36 Prismas was more than that. So far I like them! The cores are harder than the Prismas but I did specifically get the Soft Core Prismas, so the bruts don't play as nice with my cheap coloring book paper (so i may need to try that sanding trick you mentioned) but they look AMAZING on my sketchbook paper. That, and I can PAINT with them too like bruh you draw with the color and then you put water on it and it looks painted now. Magic. Gonna have to learn how to watercolor with pencils like that tho bc I think I used way too much water my first time and washed everything out. I just kinda went #yolo and tested shit without like, even once googling a tutorial first lmao.
Ooooo I didn't even know brutfuner sold watercolor pencils?? Watercolor pencils have a slightly different/harder formula than regular pencils so they're never my favorite but I'm glad you like them! When you get more experienced and get a little more change on you I want you to test out Derwent inktense pencils. They're just like watercolor pencils but they use ink instead!

I'm really fukn lonely, so can I have Rohan (g/n so) fluff, please?
Hello honey! OH NO!! Loneliness BANISHED D: Emergency scenario’s here!! I hope it may cheer you up a little!!
Fluffiness for Rohan Kishibe and his s/o
(Under the cut for length!)
It had been a tiring day.
You entered in your home, putting the keys in the small bowl placed near the door. The usual darkness that enveloped the house at that time of the evening was the only thing that welcomed you; your boyfriend was still away for an important business trip. He usually stayed away no more than a couple of weeks, as, after a while, he became restless, longing to be home. He liked to search for references around, yes, but he liked drawing more. And more than that, he loved you and, even if he rarely told it, he missed you in an almost physically painful way. This time, however, he had to discuss with few foreign publishers about the translation and publication of his manga and this would have required more than few days.
That was why just darkness had welcomed you in the past weeks. The first days it had been bearable, but now… now the loneliness was becoming heavy. You were starting to miss even gestures and habits you usually found annoying, such as his habit of ripping out the first and last page of his sketchbooks -”My drawing sequence is a continuous flow, so it must not have a beginning or an end.” he always said to justify his weird habit-. You missed his smell of ink, paper and that delicate trace of his favourite cologne; you missed the moment, usually around midnight, when he finally put down the pencil and took off his headband, the official closure of a working day. Even if he wasn’t the most romantic or sweet or affectionate boyfriend in the world, you loved him as who he was. You loved your Rohan as the man he was, with his qualities and flaws.
“Oh, you’re home earlier, Y/N.” you jolted, hearing that voice coming from the still dark kitchen. The light divamped from the kitchen chandelier, flowing also in the living room, and finally lightening your boyfriend’s face, evidently tired but, you could notice it even from so far, content to be home.
“Rohan? What are you doing here? Weren’t you in Europe?” your voice was slightly trembling for surprise and joy. Rohan shrugged, adjusting then his headband.
“Yes, but from now on my editor can manage things by himself. I had already took care of the majority of the organization of the Louvre exposition and for the special edition of the manga, so I had no reasons to stay more time in France.” he explained in a vague tone. Your surprised smile softened, as you got the hint: he missed home. He missed you.
“I’m glad you’re home. I missed you.” you couldn’t help but smile when you heard his slightly embarrassed grumbling, as you were walking to the kitchen. You smelled a delicious scent of food and you had your mouth watering when you saw that, before coming home, he had stopped to buy your favourite dishes at Tonio’s. You noticed he was eyeing you from the cabinets, while he was taking out two dishes, and you warmly smiled at him.
“Thank you, dear.” you simply said, going to kiss his cheek, feeling surprised when he enveloped your waist with his free arm. He kept you in a half hug for few seconds, before releasing you and going to place plates, cutlery and glasses on the table.
“So… how was Paris? And Moscow? Berlin?” you asked, as you both sat down to eat. Rohan told you about the trip during the meal, enrapturing, as always, your attention. He wasn’t good just at writing and drawing; he was a good speaker too. He spoke in a way that allowed you to clearly picture what he was saying in your head, it was so colorful and vivid… you loved it. And what a story! Rohan, being Rohan and a stand user, hadn’t had a quiet and mildly boring business trip, oh no: it had been full of adventures. And you knew that some of them would have been source material for his beloved manga.
After dinner, Rohan surprised you once more when, instead of immediately going in his studio to at least outline few pages, he sat near you on the couch, enveloping again your waist. You looked at him, surprised, before settling more comfortably near him, resting your head on his shoulder. His thumb gently traced circles on your hip, in a relaxing motion that made you sigh in comfort.
“You know, next time we should go together.” he said, in a low voice. You cracked open one eye, looking up at his face, finding it bent towards yours. He had taken off his headband a while ago and dark green clocks fell on his forehead, framing his teal eyes. Oh you had almost forgotten how intense those eyes could be…
“Did you miss me, Rohan?” you tried to joke, but he remained serious, and with that same seriousness he nodded, tightening his grip on your waist.
“I did. It hadn’t been… pleasant. And you said you always wanted to visit Europe, one day, didn’t you?” you looked at him, amazed and speechless. Was he being serious?
“There were a couple of places, in Paris, that I’d really like to show you. I think you’d love them.” you couldn’t help but smile, tucking your head near his neck. How sweet from him… maybe being far from you for so long had softened him?
“I’d really like it. It’d be lovely.” you softly agreed, lifting your head to give him a sweet kiss, beaming in joy when he kissed you back, cupping your cheek. Now, that was perfect…
When he broke the kiss, you rest your forehead on his, quietly looking in his eyes and smiling, when you saw how relaxed and comfortable he was, now. He was finally home, he was finally with you…
Where his heart would always have been.

I'm not sure if you've gotten a question like this before but. I THINK I've seen you mention how your artwork for guys like us are usually just sketches and never full pieces, right? how did you get so confident in your sketches or, rather, have them clean enough to pass as fully-fleshed out arts??
i made guyslikeus for myself and didnt expect it to get popular! thats why i did sketches but also because i knew with how i usually ran askblogs in the past that i used a lot of panels, so i wanted to commit to a simple style that i wouldnt get annoyed with. i also wanted to work on expressions and posing instead of lineart and coloring so i tried to go with the most simple draws so i could work on that !!
im glad people dont mind it cause its honestly the only reason i can crank out asks so fast!!
i will say drwing for 2 years straight in just pen and ink no pencil defs helpes me confidence in my sketches and helped me learn how to draw a lot faster as well! thanks for the fun ask!
