Movie today & different kinds of hearing devices used in cinemas

Yea it seems that we're gonna go see a movie later today so we be leaving around noon or 12:30 pm. It's my turn to pay, yea we rotate on who pays for the next movie. Ummm... I wanted to see the movie Tag but our cinema doesn't show the movie times so not sure if it's worth it. There's another movie I want to see which is the Skyscraper which starts around 1pm so it's highly possible that we're going to see that one instead. So yea... That's all I can say about it.

Oh I'm unsure if they had their audio devices fixed or what unlike the last two movies we saw awhile ago. I had to use the Caption View cup thingy twice. I miss the audio device one, easier to use cause I can plug it in my hearing aids' Compilot II and it will wirelessly transmit the audio to my hearing aids. I'll be able to hear the voices more clearly than the background noise. Sometimes you get the movie audio itself or the narrative version which is mainly for the blind or visual-blind people. I'm not blind or visually impaired, just hearing impaired.

Because if I don't have nothing to use, I can't hear the voices in the movie at all, as they're all drown out by the sound effects and background noises. Oh along with the surround sound speakers in there are pretty high and deep. So I am completely deaf when watching movies at the cinema.

The Caption-view cup is just a visual device. You take it and place it in the cup holder and twist the movable cable to your liking and sit back to watch the subtitles appear. It's a bit heavy and large device too, skinny one. I'm not that fond of those though.

Doooood, I loved the Caption-glasses from the Imax cinema in Las Vegas. Those were so cool! You pocket or wear this device around your neck and then you put the glasses (they're like shades) on and when the movie starts you'll see the green captions appear under the character's voice real-time. I love those! Sadly Sony had only made so little so only 100 selected cinemas was given them. But yea those are so neat and cool to use!

Anyway I better go get something out for dinner to be cooked or something like that... Laters!
