Hey! I'll be at Y/Con this week-end for my very first convention as a booth artist! For the occasion I'll have a limited amount of merch, including prints, stickers and the awaited physical copy of "Almost TGCF" also known as "I haven't read TGCF"! Not only that but I'll also be part of a Danmei Rally with @rakiah @gunpys @alyna-cherry @pillow-boi and @/auroramaeno.auma (on instagram)! Don't hesitate to pass by! (^^)/

About the merch:

A5 prints will be 7 euros, square prints will be 5 euros. Stickers are 3 euros.

Due to personal circumstances I can't give an actual price to the fanzine yet (know that it should at least be between 12 and 15 euros).

All fanzines as explained will come with two free prints and a free sticker. You can also ask me to sign it with the character of your choice in the style of "Almost TGCF" (can be from another mxtx book!).

I won't be handing out the prizes of the rally. Please go to the designated spot to receive your prize if you've completed the stamp rally!

No, I won't do discounts.

If you're an artist and want to exchange merch with me, please do so before the actual con starts. I won't accept exchanges during the duration of the con.

About my availability:

I'm sharing the booth with Pazemma. And a friend of us will also be here for when one of us two has to leave. I'll share a photo of myself insta stories before the con starts so you can recognize me.

I'll try to open an online shop around the beginning of 2025, and hopefully make it so I can ship the merch wordwide.

By the way I am new and just recently started following you. In 1 month I have read all your stories on DL and I want to tell you that you have a gift to write such stories. Not everyone can describe the psychotic state of these guys that well, and you do it in a human AU where the vampire side doesn't affect them, but you still make them be those broken versions of themselves. Even better, not only do you play with their psychology so easily, but you break them even more without any problem! It's like a sequel to the game, but this time it's not vampires, but completely normal people. I just love you! Do you study psychology?

but aaaaa thank you so much. i'm really glad you like them! i spent two whole ass years basically only writing diabolik lovers and i produced angst fics (with a lot of drugs lmao) on an industrial scale. i was always writing super fucking self-indulgent stuff, i love modern AUs especially, but i never expected it to get much attention 'cuz the DL fandom is small. so every time i see stuff like this, it makes my day! i feel kind of bad because i'm not really writing DL anymore, except for the ayato fic. the TGCF brainrot is too strong.

gonna talk about my actual education below the cut asksdjfdf.

as for am i a psychology student? i get questions like this a LOT. like, it's hilariously common for people to comment on my drug fics asking if i study psychology or medicine, probably because of the amount of technical detail i write in. the answer is no, i don't study psychology or medicine itself. but i HAVE completed a bachelors in pharmacology, which is just. the study of drugs. i'm also about to finish a masters too, so when i graduate this summer i'll have a masters in pharmacology.

most of what i've researched beyond my degree is psychopharmacology. for my entire bachelors, it was psychiatric stuff which i was really interested in. and i chose to do my masters dissertation project about motivation.

and, well, one bad experience to the next (almost entirely because of my research supervisor), and i don't really... like it much anymore. i'm still interested in drugs obviously, i've always been, but as for the academic side itself, both my passion and confidence have been obliterated in the space of about 4 months. it's a humbling experience when you realise you're not actually very good at the thing you always wanted to do, and i'm still trying to figure out where to go from here.

so, tl;dr- no, i'm not a psychology student, but i do have higher education in drugs.

1)Last book I read I read Ocean at the end of the lane in two days recently. It was a very fun concept. It's the kind of book that would have left a lifelong impression on me if I had read it young. But now it was just one good book in a long line of others. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2) A book I recommend Let's go with a Taste of Gold and Iron. It's a very fun mystery, and the main character made me go. Wait. I know that feeling! I have a brain exactly like that too! (Riddled with anxiety and self-doubt at the most mundane things, but when things get serious, it's suddenly all business.)

3) A book that I couldn’t put down: I don't know if it exactly fits, because I wasn't fully invested from the start. But I did read all 500+ chapters of Omniscient Readers Viewpoint in just three days. And it is the only book I've ever read that make me go "Wait. I didn't know you could do that with a book." There are so many levels of meta in this book. It's like three books in one.

4) A book I’ve read twice (or more): I reread a ton of books. Let's go for Kalevala just because I was reminded of it while taking the picture at the end of this post. I used to read it every 6 months or so as a teenager. When we were told to read it for school I just read it again instead of telling anyone I'd read it like six times already.

5) A book on my TBR: One that has been there for ages is the Thief by Megan Whalen Turner. I hope to get around to it one day. I already bought it after all.

6) A book I’ve put down: Putting things down (as in meaning to continue then forgetting about it) happens often. Putting down and deciding not to continue very rarely. Last was The Calculating Stars by Mary Robinette Kowal. I have no idea why. In concept is sounds like just my thing and I have enjoyed her other books. My mind just couldn't get a grip on it, my attention always started to waver instantly.

7) A book on my wish list: I want an ORV official english translation SO BAD. Where is it??? It's announced and everything! Same for Nirvana In FIre, actually. Usually if I wish for a book I just buy it. It has to not exist to stay on my wish list long.

8) A favorite book from childhood: How young are we talking? Roald Dahl's witches book was my favourite at age 5. His dark materials at age 8. Good omens at age 12. Farseer trilogy at age 14. (all ages approximate)

9) A book you would give to a friend: 've gifted two people with All systems red. I would love to give it to everyone I know.

10) The most books you own by a single author: Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. As long as all 8 physical tgcf books and 4 svsss books count as separate. Though Brandon Sanderson comes very close. I think I have 7 of his books as physical copies and a few as audiobooks.

11) A nonfiction book you own: The Dawn of Everything is both excellent worldbuilding material, and really opened my eyes on how uncreative and stuck I was about how societies 'must' work. Applicable to real life as well.

12) What are you currently reading: I am still reading Exordia. It is an excellent book I'd recommend to everyone (as long as you are not particularly sensitive to body horror). But that is also why I'm going slowly because I only want to read it when I can concentrate properly. I am also reading Trash of the Count's Family when I need a less serious book, and an isekai manga, and What technology wants. The best way for me to read stuff is read whatever I feel like at the moment.

13) What are you planning on reading next? I got The Traitor Baru Cormorant at the same time I got Exordia so that's probably next.

A10. Who did you have your first fanfic-related conversation with? What was it about?

Ohh! This is a hard one, and I'm not really sure? I started reading fics when I was around 12, I remember around that time that I was also trying to write and I took my writing notebook to school with me, so maybe my school friends of the time? Probably explaining to them what fanfic was and what I was trying to write. (fanfic really wasn't mainstream at the time)

But really talking about it? I guess when I was around 15. I joined a Harry Potter forum (yeah, I know) and there were some fic writers communities there, and I was part of one called "fic writers family", there we would exchange ideas and recs, and beta for each other. It was really cool! We were all different ages there, and it was really nice having people older than me who enjoyed fandom and had adult lives.

B9. Who is your OTP?

I'm not the person to have a true OTP in the right sense of the expression, as only ONE true pairing. Some fandoms i have only one pairing that I really like, and some fandoms i like many pairings. So some of my OTPs: Liushen (svsss), Hualian (tgcf), Wangxian (mdzs), Tododeku (bnha), Sterek (teen wolf), and so many others!

C3. Is there anything that makes you nope out of a story? What is it?

Hmmm, depends. Before I open, I always check the tags to see if there's something I don't like and then I avoid it. But there are things that make me nope out after I started reading it. The first thing that comes to mind is first person POV,i hit the back button very fast on these. Sometimes when the characters are too OOC, the walls of text. Other than that, I can't remember anything super specific.

D8. Which fandoms do you read fic for?

So many!! Lately I've been reading a lot of BNHA and SVSSS fics, bnha specifically the gen ones. I also read teen wolf, haikyuu, some game of thrones (I know), after I finish watching some series I like checking out the fics and see if there's anything interesting, there isn't usually a lot of fics on BL series, but some of them are really good! I'm taking a little break from mdzs at the moment, I think I read too much too fast, but the good thing is that when I come back, there will be so many new ones to read.

He has fifteen seconds left before Luo Binghe must enter the Abyss. “I won’t,” he says quietly. “But you must be brave, Binghe. This will not be easy, but there is only one place for us to go. Shizun is sorry.”

The two of them are only a few paces away from the cliff. Even without access to his cultivation, Shen Qingqiu has a height advantage, and more importantly, he has surprise on his side. It is almost too easy to clutch Luo Binghe tighter in his arms, step forward, and --

Shen Qingqiu really hopes he doesn’t die when he hits the bottom. That would be so embarrassing.

besides kpop i like mcr and ptv as well as utaites (mafumafu, soraru, eve, usss, utapri and more)

i like to draw and write but i don't do it that frequently so i probably won't post about that

One small question as I got a bit confused. After finishing the basketball diaries does that mean you will never write about diabolik lovers again? Because you have a new series?

hello! no worries, i understand your question.

the answer is, i don't know. i have a tendency to bounce between hyperfixations and unfortunately i've learnt that i am straight up incapable of having more than one at a time. so in 2017 i wrote mostly diabolik lovers, then 2018-2019 was primarily pandora hearts, and i was pumping out elleo fics on an industrial scale. i even worked up quite a following for that. then from 2020-2021 (i was an absolute weapon in 2020 for one specific ship) i wrote almost entirely vanitas no carte. then 2022 and 2023 came and i returned to writing an insane about of diabolik lovers fics.

these things seem to last 2 years, and when i started reading tgcf, i really didn't expect it to be as good as it was. i knew it was good, but i wasn't aware it would take over my every waking thought, yknow? so i didn't expect my diabolik lovers writing stamina to get taken over so quickly.

having said that, i never stopped writing ph or vnc entirely. i'm actually writing another ph fic for elleo right now called divenire, which i'm 9/15 chapters into. i still write oneshots here and there.

so i won't definitively say i'm never writing dialovers again, because i might as a one-off, and i do have commissions open, but right now i'm gonna follow my heart and write what i'm rlly passionate about at this time. and i'm doing my masters research project at uni so i'm limited on time as it is.

i DO intend to start my blue is the new pink sequel soon-ish though, which is DL x PH x VNC and now ALSO with TGCF. so i keep my practice in for all my beloved hyperfixations.

so uh yeah i'm sorry to my dialovers fanfic following lmao. this wasn't supposed to happen, but my ask box is open and i'm always down to talk about it :)
