i love ep18 of season 5!!!! but also, i just realized something

idk if you guys know about that, but there's a pretty famous manipulation technique that consists in playing with the other person's mind, and apparently it makes them obssessed; so the manipulator will give the victim attention, lots of it, making they feel loved and appreciated, then they just stop. they disappear, ghost them, really, just stops giving attention and love. and then do it again, with no actual explaining on the disappearing, goes back on showering the victim with love and affection. then suddenly stops again. and that's it. do it again and again. so, the psychological explaining on why that works is because people naturally likes attention and affection, obviously, and this behavior confuses them, it makes they miss the other person and the feelings they bring, and that's why they get obssessed.
