was talking about this with my mom but i think a lot of thin people do not appreciate having clothes that they love and feel good in. when you're fat, especially a larger size of fat, you are constantly settling for clothes that are kind of ok. clothes that are tolerable. clothes that you don't 100 percent hate.

there are ways to style yourself no matter your size, of course. accessorizing is probably the most accessible, but i have plans for diy and making my own clothes. and even then! even then, it's hard to find patterns in bigger sizes, so you have to learn grading or pattern drafting, which is drastically less accessible than just buying whatever you hate the least off of asos

#that said though i would encourage fat people to get into some kind of clothes making hobby #crochet. knitting. sewing #i'd recommend sewing because imo it's the easiest and fastest of the three #knitting being the most time consuming (but more economical than crochet as it uses less yarn)#anyway no reblogs last time i let u guys reblog my fatposting i had to block so many assholes
