i dont really understand why people are so scandalized by animal euthanasia. i mean i have a lot of thoughts about it but it can basically be summed up as sometimes death is necessary

#people who freak out at shelters for doing euth piss me off...if you want that dangerous dog to live then YOU try taking care of them #ultimately i'd rather have an animal live than die but we just dont have infinite resources for every single animal #its not like the decision is easy either. i sympathize with my coworkers who have to help make the decision for animals they care about #theres been some dogs im not happy to see go #but in the end its an extremely neutral act to me #i'd rather see a dangerous dog euth'd than a person injured
