NAK:

-She finds him hilarious, he's quietly a silly guy; no words, silly actions, dry humour.

-Nak secretly admires how observant Krueger is, after all that's how he was able to excel in Long range Surveillance. Even if she's a straightforward person, there's going to be times that she's going to have trouble expressing herself (bad habits, affection, things due to mild social anxiety) so having someone like Krueger at least being aware of how she's feeling without saying anything is something she really appreciates.

-She likes the little crook in his nose and how his lips are shaped as well.

-How Krueger says her name, Phayvanh. She likes how gentle his voice gets slightly when he speaks her name

KRUEGER:

-He finds her reactions funny, how her face scrunches up in a mixture of Disgust and amusement after he says the most out of pocket shit ever-

-Along with that, he thinks her smile is adorable, she doesn't genuinely smile often,( usually they're insincere sneers to people she's annoyed with). But when she smiles, a genuine happy smile, she lights up, she smiles with her teeth and everything, one canine tooth is sharper than the other and it's just a little detail of hers he finds cute.

-Krueger admires how adaptable she is; Naga would make her run miles in the woods to train her when she was younger, traps and all; because of that her mind is honed to be quick with any solution she can get. It shows she's intelligent, he needs that in a partner.

-When celebrations like base parties or holidays come around, this is usually when Nak drinks. And when she's drunk she's all over him, she's alot more affectionate (kisses all over his face, telling him how handsome he is as she clings to his arm) and Krueger is enjoying every second of it lolol

14.) Where would they go on a 3am adventure?

I already answered this in a previous ask but I think I'd like to list off specific locations!

Krueger wakes Nak up at 3 am to go to the following:

-The park (for walks, an excuse to lend her his jacket)

-The 711

-The pool area of Nak's apartment complex (Krueger used to live on base and can't get an apartment because of his criminal record so he just kind of crashed at Nak's place and never left)

- Ghost hunting, Nak is superstitious so he just wants to see her freak out

17.) Who picks flowers for the other?

Nak's love language is gift giving along with Acts of Service/Physical Touch! She wouldn't get him flowers but rocks she thought looked neat or leaves from trees she thinks he would like, along with Making his coffee the way he likes it on weekends!

If the mephones have a "second" chance?...

AH! Sorry if it's been a while since this was sent, I saw this in my inbox a little while ago but wanted to wait until the II2 finale released. Also, Tumblr didn't want to notify me for some reason, so for all I know this could've been sent forever ago >_>

But anyway! MePhones, huh? I'll put this under a read-more because it gets LONG.

So, I can't say I really have a definitive answer to this, because there's a LOT to think about. I'll throw my thoughts at you, though :P

Assuming that by a "second chance", you mean revival: There's a lot to consider here! Who revived them? Why did they revive them? Where are they, and which characters are present?

Just for example, I'll make up two scenarios: In scenario A, Cobs revives them in MeCloud, for the purpose of carrying out his ~evil plans~, perhaps having to do with the Shimmers. In scenario B, Test Tube revives them in her lab, for the purpose of rehabilitating them.

Let's start with their initial reactions. I'd imagine that the MePhones would generally have a calmer initial reaction to scenario A than scenario B. In scenario A, the person that revived them and the place they're in are both very familiar. In scenario B, they'd have no idea where they are, and Test Tube is a complete stranger to them--well, except for 5S and 5C.

And you can shake things up further by adding more characters to the mix. Maybe another one of Cobs' creations stumbles into the room, or one of Test Tube's friends just wanted to see what she's working on! How might these additional characters act in their respective situations? How might they affect the MePhones' initial reactions to being revived?

Now, how they act and develop as characters after the fact depends on... well, a lot of things. Their environment, how the people around them treat them, etc etc...

Scenario A is likely fairly similar to what their lives were like before they died, and that certainly didn't turn them into nice people. There might not be as much room for positive change there--though, they could always get worse! :D Scenario B would probably be a better influence in terms of causing positive character development. However, I imagine it's a more challenging environment. They're surrounded by people who only know them for what Cobs ordered them to do, and he didn't exactly order them to make friends with MePhone4!

The environment in scenario A mirrors the ideals they were brought up with. It's familiar. Unless something happens that sparks change within them, they'll likely continue working for Cobs. You could say this scenario is like a "safe", familiar little shell. In contrast, the environment in scenario B directly contradicts those ideals. There's more cause for conflict, for sure, but I think it's also a far better influence. This scenario's more like getting yanked out of that shell, and thrust into a scary, unfamiliar world that challenges everything you learned beforehand.

...This is getting pretty long, so here's just one more thing to think about. How do they feel about their deaths? Their lives beforehand? How might these feelings change in their current environment?

Anyway uhh... yeah! Sorry if this wasn't the response you were looking for... again, this isn't a definitive answer, because there is a LOT to think about--more than I felt like shoving into this post! And I didn't go into detail about the individual MePhones because that would get very long very fast, and I just don't really want to make any certain claims about how they'd act or think--we don't know very much about them! (Plus, I thought it'd be fun to leave details like that up to interpretation--I love seeing how people portray these characters differently!)

Maybe it's due to not having spoons (fibro and the heat are getting to me bad), but my mood is up and down, and my feelings about Seasons are going up and down with it?

I'm like, "Oh this part is cute and I'm excited to share it!" and "Cal, shut up, please, you're being annoying. Keep it to yourself!" No one has said I'm being annoying. I just get super self-conscious now, bc... history of being told I'm annoying. Also, it's rather recent that I'd tell my now-ex that I was excited about something - that I'd finished a first draft or gotten a map drawn - and she'd respond with stuff like, "Did you see the witch Bath and Body Works diffuser?" (I had to beg her to congratulate me. I would do so for her when she had accomplishments, but mine? Meaningless.) Back to Seasons, though. I've been anxious that it's too long. I'm not out to set some arbitrary word count limit here. I mean "Was this really necessary, or did you just get too self-indulgent, and now you have too many loose ends to tie up?" (This is exacerbated by my writing out of order and fearing I'll forget something by the end.) That's just my brain, there. Worried that I was excessive and have made a mess, rather than a coherent story. I'm also worried that I sound so egotistical now that I'm finding joy in talking about my writing/characters. (This ties in with the first issue, that I should "shut up" haha...) I had such a weird process for years. I enjoyed the process of creation, but I... thought I was shitting out garbage. Characters, writing style, story, everything. Someone once told me years ago that I wrote nothing but man babies, and someone else later said the same thing. Second person also said my writing style induced their synesthesia so they couldn't stand to read my stuff. There have been other things, those are just some examples. It's so painful. I don't feel like I can become a better author if I don't have helpful criticism, but I've certainly had the destructive stuff launched at me. I'm still working on myself. I was only 13 months ago I got self-conscious and decided to stop sharing any of my writing publicly, so I locked up everything on AO3 in a private collection, I deleted or hid everything on google docs and other sites. And I struggled to finish Rascal (which I posted the final chapter just a few weeks before that and then ended up locking it up, haha), and now I'm struggling a bit with Seasons. I don't always struggle with ending stories, but... sometimes I do, and it definitely sinks my mood. I'm lucky in that some people have found my writing and been supportive. I'd be fucked if I didn't have @yume-x-hanabi being so supportive and nonjudgmental. She's a good writing buddy. And I have another friend who also just checks out my writing despite meeting her through fandom as well, even picked up Seasons despite the heavy content. ;A; That's a blessing. But sometimes I'm still working on saying, "No, I do love myself and these things. It doesn't matter what other people have said. They're a few people. They were mean. They don't define you or your work." Still, it sneaks up on me and leaves me scared that I have more work ahead. That I need to get better and better now, because if I want a career out of this, I'm going to have to bust my ass. And it's funny... I do enjoy the process of writing, I love building characters and writing stories and creating lore. I just wish after it was all done, I wasn't fearful that I just hot-glued a bunch of steaming shit together, and I refuse to see it...? XD; (Sorry that's a disgusting mental image, but... it wouldn't hold together, is my point.) Anyway, sorry if you read this for rambling so much. It's kind of negative. I gotta cheer up. ;A;

Aw, my beloved mer whumpees are only at 6th place :') Unfortunately I couldn't include more types of whumpees because the polls only have a set number of options, so I didn't include furry, robotic, or fully animal whumpees, which appeared in the tags!

Anyways! Here's a super biased breakdown full of my opinions and musings, but also a few numbers!!

I'm quite surprised that demon whumpees didn't score higher because I feel like I've seen them around more (but that's probably because demons are high on my whumpee type preference alongside vampires XD). Interestingly, demon whumpees scored very closely with mer whumpees, a mere 0.5% ahead.

Honestly, the fairy/fae whumpees scoring only 5.1% feels weird too since I feel like I've seen a lot about them, but, upon closer inspection, they do feel kinda niche. Maybe that one often comes from whether people like giant/tiny whump, since fairies are usually small and easily locked in a jar by a mean human lol. There is a lot of size difference to explore there because it totally changes the game, and that might not be everyone's taste, which is valid. I think it's neat though uwu

Immortal whumpees though, you all love your immortals it seems, they won by a MILE-- there is a whole 7% between first and second place! To put that in perspective, the next biggest gap is 3.7% between 3rd and fourth place, that's a 3.3% difference. I wonder though, since vampires are also technically a flavour of immortal, what would happen if I were to take out plain immortal option, and said 'any of these are immortal if you so desire.' I feel like vampires would take first place, but a lot of the preferences may shift elsewhere, maybe even to hybrids and angels... I would want to add android/robotic whumpees to the list, but that'd change a variable and that's even worse science lmao

Anyways, speak of the hybrids, they did very well, third place! People like the little animal traits, and I do have to admit, I do too-- claws, fangs, cute ears, tails, the hissing, growling, and other cute sounds are lovely traits that I cannot get enough of and am always looking to incorporate into my own whump. There are so many options there too! Sure, immortality stops the whumpee from dying from torture, allowing any inflictor of pain to get SO much more creative, but honestly I feel like the hybrids have so many more options on how they could be treated-- one could branch into lab, captivity, or pet whump (to name a few), or using those features to hurt them, like tugging on a tail or declawing.

I could ramble all day if you let me XD

Aside from those ones, there are angel and were-creature whumpees which did pretty average-- fourth and fifth place respectively with only a 1.3% difference between them. A lot can be done with them, love me some transformation angst and struggles with their humanity, and love me a fallen angel that needs to adjust to being mortal and make a new life for themselves, but I don't really know what to say on their account because I only occasionally see them, about as much as I'd expect for their place on the poll.

The Ssum brief review

Uh so I was playing Mystic Messenger, to be exact, farming HGs with Christmas DLC, and since I only need to repeat the chat at 19:18, having a whole day with nothing to do I thought I could kill some time with other games. Which is, The Ssum. I immediately remember why 4 years ago I dropped the beta version of this game after only one day. lol

Like, I finally got free time to chat (read: play the game) for a while but Teo just had to leave me hanging for 5 or even 20 minutes? TvT I'd rather you spamming me with texts thank you.

I completely lost memory of that until today when I decided to come back... just to leave the game after a few hours, again, feeling disappointed. Some reasons why:

First, like everyone pointed out, because of so many ads and subscriptions, obviously. Then, an overwhelming amount of new features compared to the beta version. I wouldn't mind if it was just call and chat honestly... Cheritz bold of you to assume I need an in-game community where I get to interact with other players when I come to this game just to meet my virtual boyfriend. It's a nice feature to have but I like playing my games alone, thank you very much. :(

Also, I like the old Teo better than the new and young one, and the beta prologue too. With the old prologue, you get to experience first-hand his tendency to ramble and treating the chatroom as his own journal. Then it wouldn't take players as surprise when they had to read his online diary. The moment MC came to the chatroom, he switched from rambling by himself to rambling with a listener. I love that when he was blah blah talking to himself, you suddenly came crashing in and he thought you were an AI lol, since it feels more natural to start a conversation that way. But I appreciate that the old prologue has this "prototype" vibes to it, where Teo told you he didn't know the developers released the app on the app store, while in the new prologue it's a given that the app is released.

Not sure if it was my internet connection or something but at first the game repeatedly told me to check my internet, and I couldn't even pass Harry's prologue after 30 mins cuz not only he took time to reply but it also lagged a lot.

Oh, and, when I used guest account, I accidentally tapped the button for opening a website, and when I came back, I was baffled seeing my profile gone. Magically. Completely. Without a trace. It's just gone, so I had to start over again.

Luckily I haven't paid for anything or progressed much aside from watching 5 ads and I also wanted to start over. I also started Mystic Messenger with a guest account and only registered when I was hooked on the game later, so while I knew game data could be lost, somehow I totally didn't see it coming...? O.o Like, I just stepped out for a bit why has it gone?

I wanted to review without comparing The Ssum with MM but I couldn't help it... Although I spent too little time to give a proper review, I can say this: it's pretty confusing at first and the ads might piss you out, however, the game is worth a try if you're not a fan of MM xD. As for me, I guess I'll just go back to MM then. after I play Ssum one last time... I can't resist when I know that MM characters appear here and there in this game smh.

On one of my own aus, i make so that Vanessa has that type of uncle and niece relationship cuz tbh, i totally see it and i love it (wont say which one bc i know some folks who follow me sees your posts and i aint giving spoilers to any of them)

And seeing someone actually do it makes me...sorta happy tbh. And the reason for her to even be involved in all of this, makes me even more interested :>

And i really like the cyborg idea for Gregory, it feels like an in-between option for the war of "he's a robot! No he's a human!" I like it XD

Plus, i feel like at this point in time it would be a thing, especially with how the animatronics feel so advanced ya know? Not too far ahead from the current future, but not to close either, it's fun and makes sense

I do wonder how it'll go from here tho, especially in whether you will choose between one of the endings from the game with your own spin, or make a completely new one. All in all, I'd love to see more of it!

I'm a sucker for found family coming together from trying to find the mystery of their past/lost family. It has a nice bittersweet tone to it, and it seems to lead that way here (ofc if it isn't, i'll still enjoy the au bc the idea itself is really cool)

Oh and i saw the part of Elisabeth, love it, its nice ro have more of her bc your Elizabeth has become my all time favourite😭💞💞.

And I love all the afton siblings tbh, and Michael and Evan have been my favourite sibling duo, but you somehow made me love Lizzy and Mike so much more-

As for my Help Wanted and Security Breach au, its actually a continuation of my fnaf au in general.

After Michael's suicide with Henry and the burning of the Pizzeria, Jeremy leaves as a broken man now in the possession of Glamrock Freddy and the Glamrock blueprints Michael left behind. The trauma and the survivor's guilt has made him barely the person he used to be, and he sells the Glamrocks to a man. He doesn't want anything to do with them. Cut to Vanessa though, and he loves her very much, she brings light to his life once again and all seems to be well.

He's approached by Fazbears entertainment years later. They tell him, that as a survivor of those events, they want him to test their "educational" game (Help Wanted). Ignoring the fact that the game is a complete mockery of what he's been through, he focuses more on the anomaly he spots.

He disappears not long after and this is when Vanessa comes in. The officers put his investigation on hold and Vanessa take matter in her own hands. She finds out about the game, collects the tapes, gets possessed by Malhare etc...

This is where the au falls apart a bit because anything after that moment is just little snippets of lore and scenes.

Malhare's role is very important though. To the whole thing.

Malhare isn't William. He's this projection of Will, born out of spite and that's meant to store his memories. His only purpose is to help resurrect Burntrap (aka the actual William) which he will then perish if successful. He's not supposed to be sentient, or make his own choices. He can only calculate outcomes and steer the person or thing he's possessing into doing things that will be beneficial for his goal. Malhare, just like any virus, spreads. There's no one version of him. However Vanessa's version of Malhare somehow manages to become sentient. Sentient enough that he realizes that he will die if he succeeds in his mission. Sentient enough that he has emotions. And sentient enough that he can make his own decisions. So when the time comes and Gregory enters the bottom of the Pizzaplex, he has a change of heart because in typically William or William adjacent fashion, he's scared of death. So he saves Gregory from the other versions of Malhare and corrupted systems that roam the Pizzaplex.

Now I should also preface that Vanessa and Malhare share their body, but anytime Malhare takes front, her eyes glow purple and she develops incredible agility and more physical strength (this is Vanny). Malhare can't front for long though.

Anyways, Vanny saves Gregory and they flee the Pizzaplex with Glamrock Freddy. They go to Luis' apartment for shelter for the day and Vanessa finally opens up about her situation. Now Vanessa is a wanted woman with a bounty on her hear, Malhare is cast away from his own kind, Luis can't return bc he helped Vanessa, everybody is after Gregory and Freddy is tagging along to protect Gregory.

Next step is to find Jeremy.

It's just a little thing for context, and to give a little look at how Citrine/Lucky is doing (aka the branching to scenarios 1,2,3,4 and 5, also know as Neutral Ending, Bad Ending, I Can Make it Worse, Bittersweet Ending and By Ordona's Teats Turn it Back This is a Majora Level Scenario Ending), I'll link it here once it's done, mind you that it's likely not very good? I'm not too used to writing 2nd person plus have had a long past few days. Will likely work on the Fairy Tale compilation next. The sleep scenarios with Time, Twilight and Sky my beloveds- Look, those three basically worked together to hook me in on the fandom and Zelda in general, Twilight was the hook, Sky was the bait and Time was the fishermen whom once he pulled me in with his games I had zero inclinations to leave (Legend was the one with the fishing net btw, as if that was even necessary, man really had to hammer it in huh?), Me and that man may as well be childhood friends with how much I played his games when I was younger during good and bad times and still do nowadays when I can (because his and Legend's were the most easily accessible at the time), So anything with them makes me very soft and makes me smile a lot, it was incredibly fluffy and well written so really, thank you for your work portraying arguably my three favorite boys! Was an excellent pick me up, had a bad Christmas (a bad December in general, really) so having reading it with tea was really nice.

Warriors' soulmate au had me outright cackling my dog probably really does think I've lost it now, it's the perfect mix between sweet and hilarious, specially with the fake out and the highly longing thoughts and the Chain now knowing way too much and being generally scarred by it, it's just fantastic and I adore it to death (also Wild is me, I too would absolutely take pictures and videos for future blackmail material). And the one with bunny Legend gave me very warm and soft feelings which is amazing, I have a soft spot for him because, as mentioned before, Time wouldn't allow me to leave and Legend just made sure I wouldn't be able to anyway with his games so once again, thank you! You're doing divine work here and I hope you're having a nice day!

I was tagged by @kyofsonder in this little game! I'll try to keep it brief -- I tend to ramble, and I don't want to subject you guys to my mindless babbling xD

Relationship Status: I am married, to a lovely MTF potato that I adore more than anything in the world (yes, even more than my cats!)

Favorite Color: I can't decide between turquoise and deep purple, so both? Both is good!

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Savory! I can't handle spicy much, even if I love the zing it gives, and my stomach can't handle too much sweet (curse you, overindulgence of sour gummi worms and hot tamales!) so I tend to lean toward savory foods!

Three Favorite Foods: it's like you know I can't choose lol! Well, my three favorites are saurbraten, wienerschnitzel, and spaghetti bolognese! It ain't real spaghetti without the meat sauce, and I'll die on this hill!

Song Stuck in My Head: Right now, it's a toss-up between "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" by XYLØ or "Sarcasm" by Get Scared. Two very different moods, both stuck in my head at once. HELP

Last Song Listened To: "The Hunter" Intense Symphonic Metal Cover (a remake of Father Gascoigne's theme from Bloodborne, UGH IT'S SO GOOD)

Last Thing I Googled: that's easy! The name of "Sarcasm" because I completely spaced on it and couldn't be bothered to scroll through my playlist to find it again xD listen i'm incredibly lazy leave me alooooone

Last Series I Watched: The Strain! It's Halloween and in between horror movies, I decided to rewatch one of my favorite series ever -- season four doesn't exist though. I'm in charge and I've decided that. I'll happily rant about THAT if anyone wants to hear my completely fair and totally unbiased opinions /s

Last Movie I Watched: The Last Rite. It was...okay? Pretty interesting for a possession flick. Some characters weren't acted the greatest, but I did like it overall.

Currently Reading: This Rotten World by Jacy Morris! I'm a slut for zombies in literature, and this is actually turning out to be a really good book. I'm enjoying it a lot, even if I don't have the spoons to read as much as I want to. Shoutout to Contagion by Erin Bowman for being another one that I recently read! I usually don't do sci fi, but this.... holy fuck this one actually scared me a little. It's SO GOOD

Currently Working On: trying to find a game to platinum (shoutout to my side blog @phantomkit1747 to keep tabs on THAT mess), getting to the newly introduced chaos 100 on Tiny Tina's Wonderland, 100% Batman Arkham Knight AGAIN, and figuring out how to get past my total inability to write for some stupid reason. Am I burned out?? Is it my health?? WHO KNOWS

Dream Trip: ugh, I'd love to go home to Germany and just stroll through the pedestrian zones. In the fall, they're absolutely gorgeous. It's surprisingly relaxing, even when it's packed! I'd love to go visit some more castles too, maybe even just take a drive and get completely lost in the countryside!

Anything I Really Want Right Now: A new tablet -- mine finally crapped out on me, so now I can no longer draw NOR write casually on the couch instead of in my uncomfortable computer chair. I'm saving up for it but UGH BILLS (and doordash, doordash is the bane of my savings account xD)

Happy WBW to you too, Dreams ^^ It's always a fun one when you stop by.

This is a hard one for me to pin down. There's nothing specific I can think of, but more of a general thing. I'll try explain why and hopefully it makes some sort of sense. I also want to preface this with - I don't think it's a bad thing, necessarily, it's just a thing I've noticed and have been thinking about recently.

It turned into a ramble, so here's a read more.

I guess if I think about it, I've noticed there's a lack of wip-specific questions I get. During both STS and WBW there's rarely questions that focus on specific projects, and fewer still that want more detailed explanations of an aspect of a project I mentioned. Instead, most of what I get are general questions.

And to clarify - I'm not upset or disappointed about this, I understand it entirely and it still makes me happy to get these sorts of questions. A lot of the people who stop in for these events are not very familiar with my projects, and some are not familiar with them at all, and so general questions are the safest for them. And that's 100% fine, I do the same thing. And I also understand that my lack of rambling on my own about my projects doesn't make coming up with specific questions any easier for people, and I'm sorry about that. ^^;

As a result, I get asked about a lot of different things from how the arts work in my worlds to notable landmarks to aspects of a world I've never considered before like marriage traditions. I get varied questions about a a lot of different things so it doesn't feel like anything specifically is lacking in the world building questions.

At the same time, though, the general questions rarely lend themselves to me touching up on the unique features of each project. Like, I haven't really had a question that allowed me to talk about the corruption in The Dragon's Crown, or a general question that let me talk about the Floating Islands in The Shackles of Time, and goodness knows the factions in The Firewalker never would have come up if you hadn't asked me about the biggest world building hurdle for Thistle and Valerian to over come.

And I think a large part of this is my world building process. As you know, I don't world build further than I have to, leaving large swaths of blank space. But I've noticed several writers around here that do fill everything in Tolkien style, which is amazing but not for me, and leads to a lot of the general questions not leading to deep answer from me like they would get from a Tolkien-style world builder who has every aspect of their worlds figured out. And sometimes I just don't have an answer because it's not something that's come up in my world nor do I expect to come up in my world.

So it's this odd little situation where nothing is lacking in particular, but few questions end in a long ramble from me. Does that make sense?

As for aspects of the worlds I'd like to show off more, I guess I wished Forgotten Gods got more into the God-related weirdness than it did, but looking at the characters and Gods in question, it really couldn't have? I may end up doing another story in that universe just to show it off more. And I suppose I have the same note for The Firewalker, but instead of fighting with that I made Forgotten Gods to explore that concept more, so yeah XD

The rest of the worlds show off their world building in their own time, and their world building mostly came up around the stories so those are the only two I can think of.

But if you mean in terms of talking about them, my answer is - all of it >.< I'm horrible about talking about my own stuff unprompted. I've tried to do it, I really did, but every time I start writing up a post I either can't think of where to start or panic halfway through and talk myself out of it. It's dumb, I know people wouldn't think it's stupid and I know there's a ton of cool things I can talk about, but I can't quite seem to get over that hurdle. The character art and introductions are probably the biggest step forward I've taken in that regard, though they're slow going.

As for an update -

Thanks to the incorrect quotes game I finished that particularly difficult chapter of The Shackles of Time. But that's the only bit of writing progress I've made.

I'm still working on the anniversary special posts for October. I think next year I'll try doing something... less ambitious. It's not that I'm not having fun, it's just that the special posts I decided on are really time/energy consuming and have pulled my focus entirely off my projects.

That new project has stopped gnawing on my brain stem for attention, so I'm not sure if it's going to turn into a wip or not.

The plot line for book 2 of The Dark Princess has most of it's main plot points worked out. It is going to be no less savage than the first one, and I love that. Book 3 only has 1 of it's major plot points, but that's fine. I have two books to chew through to get to it so I'm in no hurry to flesh it out, plus I'm going to need to see how certain things work out before I solidify it for sure. I am planning on creating a map for it when I get the chance, as I need to keep track of several things using a map, such as your favorite Dark Lord's progress.

I'm not going to write it until I knock some things off my plate, but I think I'll be ready for it when I do.... Except for names. I still haven't named anything or anyone ^^'

Omg your Theo HC 🥲🥲🥲 I love him and must protect always! This story really has me reliving my early 20’s! I can relate to Hermione in the fact that I was in a (somewhat-very loosely) similar situation. Things had ended in one relationship and I entered a new fun one that I look back in fondness. It was quite short, but it helped me through a tough time and served what I needed at that point in time. I don’t talk to him anymore seeing as we have both moved on- but reading FD has reminded me of that time and how carefree it was. However, I did end up going back to the first guy eventually. Sometimes we cannot fight what our hearts want! And to this day we are coming up on 10 years together <3 and I love him more because of it! Of course, he never did anything as drastic as Draco and get engaged or watch me get tortured in his drawing room SO just the general outline of it all is similar LOL. Anyway sorry to ramble- if there is a HC I am interested in I would have to say Pansy’s! Since we don’t see too much from her apart from the new assumptions we can make!! EEEE

OMG YES! I dated a Falling Dark Draco on and off from when I was like 19-21ish. He even freaking looked like Draco -- *so* gorgeous -- and mysterious and brooding and always leaving me wanting more, more, more! So I really get 19yo Hermione's feelings in this story. I was right there with her at that age and am tapping into those memories. It was intoxicating and fun and there were a lot of ups and downs, but the highs were so high... I mean, I still fucking have dreams about that guy! Even though my old-ass self would not choose that type of relationship now. My husband is definitely more of a Theo crossed with a lot of Harry. And we are very happy. Lol.

But I love that you married your Draco and that it worked out. I do think Draco in my story is salvageable. I know we are all very angry with him right now, but Falling Dark is (currently) 28 chapters and very likely to grow by a couple. So we're less than halfway through! [Incidentally, that's a point I'd also like to make to the anon who keeps sending me asks about why I don't just make this a Theomione story 🙄] There is a lot more to go and do and say about these characters.

Im gonna mostly talk about the Golden Deer bc I've been waiting for forever for SOMETHING about them and now I have it I'm gonna run.

But some of my thoughts on the other houses:

Black Eagles: Nothing really caught my attention other then they have the most people without crests, and Dorothea hates herself :<

Blue Lions: Well... that certainly confirms the theory that the Childhood Friends don't accept Dedue very well aosjsj Sylvain is the only one who doesn't seem to have a problem with Dimitri no wonder he's so willing to work on his womanizing he's the only friend who isn't judging him (bc Ingrid HAS to not like that Dimitri has Dedue as a retainer and even if it didn't sour their relationship completely it had to have put some strain on it. No wonder she and Felix are seen together so often aksjsj). ALSO ANNETTES A SWEET ANGEL.

OK Now Onto the Golden Deer akjsjs (I'm on mobile or else I'd put a read more sorry akdjsj)

(Also he hates vulgarity lmao bet there was at least 1 time where Leonie and Claude just swore constantly around him for an entire day alsjsj)

Also what is a worthy women and how much do you wanna bet he's been slapped in the face for phrasing it like that bc he absolutely has to have been socked at least once.

Ignatz hates lightning and there better be some good found family fics of the Golden Deer helping him distract himself during storms!!

(Also he seems to really like the church so wonder how that goes with Claude aksjs)

Lysithea still adorable, loves sweets and cute things and hates bitter food aksjjss also hates anything physcially laborious what a gigantic mood

Ashe also hates ghost and as someone who thinks they'd be adorable together I love the idea that they're the couple that go see a disney movie while the others go watch horror (but they still get scared by the wind that night and call Mercedes to come take care of the ghost aksjjs).

Leonie's is exactly how I thought it'd be aksjsj don't have a lot to say except she's the big sister of the group and has for sure punched Lorenz in the face

Marianne and Claude are at the bottom bc they're my favorites and I have a lot to say about them akshshs

Ladakdjsj why does "long rides" make me think of a dating profile?? "Hi my name is Claude Von Riegan, I love long rides on the beach and tactically scheming as the sunsets. Pick me and I'll let you grasp any part of me you want."

Anyway SO pumped to finally have stuff coming out about Claude aksjsjs after what feels like years of just getting scraps we're finally getting some gosh dang FOOD and we DESERVE IT

His dislikes are interesting, like its so clear he doesn't trust the gods at ALL kasjjs and he clearly has a reason for that which I'm sure will come out in the main plot since its all about the church who are just a bunch of people blindly following Seiros akdjs

(Also who's gonna tell him he's in a fire emblem game and is just as subject to the rng gods as the rest of us? Leaving things to chance is the underlying tagline of the combat system cause sure you have a 95% to hit but there's still a chance you won't 🙃)

Love that he likes poetry, he is the guy who can rehearse shakespear by heart but mostly just spouts the existential stuff but will whip out a real romantic verse when the moments right (unlike Lorenz who only remembers the romantic stuff). Definitely is the guy who writes haiku jokes using haiku's and it drives everyone else crazy. Also I hc that he means long rides on his wyvern and not a horse bc ever since I saw that he can become a wyvern rider I can't not think of him as one akssj (I'm calling the wyvern Goldy the Golden Good Boy of the Von Riegans, Goldy for short, becauze it makes me laugh akdjsj.)

Also wtf does planning feasts mean??? What does planning a feast entail?? Is this just a medieval way to say he likes to party??

Ok calming down I am SO fascinated by Marianne, cause she clearly has so much story to her and I for one can't wait to find it all out. Cause she's so different from the other nobles, all of them are quite confident and loud (in personality and color) but shes the exact opposite, and we don't even know what her crest is so we can't figure out who her birth family are and what happened to them that made her get fostered by the Edmunds. And the Edmunds themselves are just another hole because how do they treat her? I cant imagine its good? But perhaps it is and whatever happened to her birth family is why she's so depressed and lacks self confidence? Akjdkss Ok I'm just rambling now I'll stop but long story short I'm hyped to play Golden Deer and see what her relationship is with the rest of the house xD (especially Claude bc they have such different viewpoints on the gods and the church so their supports are gonna be interesting aksjjs)
