Still thinking about being a business analyst. Thinking about how the business analyst job is fully remote work, aside from a week of in-person training. Thinking about how well my degree applies to being a business analyst. Thinking about how well a business analyst gets paid.

#speculation nation #technically speaking id be starting as a junior business analyst. which of course is paid less.#but even then it's still like. average starting salary is almost 3 times what i ever made as an assistant manager?#and presumably over time id be promoted to just normal business analyst. which would be another full amount of my assistant manager pay #Four Times what id get as an assistant manager....#and then it can get even higher than that... six fucking digits babey.......#it'd also require me to roll over and show my belly to businessmen but fuck dude so long as the job's not utterly miserable #then yeah i'll bark. yeah i'll play fetch. gimme that six digit salary pleaaaaaaase #honestly if this specific position doesnt work out then i'll probably start trying to look for other BA jobs #i'd briefly looked at IT shit but man IT jobs just dont fit as well as a BA does.#i know some tech but not like super in depth. but what sets me apart is my adaptability and variability #i may not like business but i Know business. and im very detail-oriented and empathetic.#my communication minor!!! i learned how to talk to people!!!!! i promise i'd be so good at the job im like trained for this SPECIAL #auhghghghg i wouldnt say im a greedy person but i will admit seeing a potential six digit salary does do things to me lol #just. daydreaming about it. oughhhhhhhhhh
