Hello, I come with soft harringrove summer things,,,

Billy loves strawberry ice cream but hasn’t had some since he was a kid bc Neil deemed him too old to be having things like ice cream.

Steve notices Billy looking at the ice cream isle in the grocery store like he wants to buy some (he does) but he can tell Billy won’t allow himself to. So Steve goes back to the grocery store later on that night and brings home things to make a giant sundae for him and Billy to share.

Billy’s confused to why Steve has called him over at 8pm on a summer evening, but Steve leads him into the kitchen with a little “ta-da!”.

On the kitchen table is a huge banana split with the strawberry ice cream that Billy was looking at in the store, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and a glace cherry on top.

It tastes so much sweeter when he knows Steve made it for them

R U KIDDING ME 😭😭 this is the cutest thing i’ve read in days!!! i am such a sucker for the headcanon that Billy won’t allow himself to buy things he enjoys/would like so Steve buys it for ‘both of them’ even tho it’s really for Billy
