#gari draws#gari’s ocs#oc: artem#mermaid#mermaid oc#mermay#mermay 2023#i actually finished this like. maybe halfway through may?#but i still had the queue going on so i wanted to finish that up#plus i did end up adding some extra things later#i really like that mermay ends up challenging me to do things i haven’t done/rarely do!#i’ve done the heart hands pose before (learned how for an artfight attack last year) but i very rarely draw in side profile#from my previous renditions of her i knew she didnt have a nose proper so i referenced some skulls to see what that would look like#her neck gills are new! but i kinda felt like they should be added with all of the mermay/little mermaid stuff ive been seeing#and new necklace alert#maybe its shaped glass idk i just wanted to shake it up#also freckle brush got her a ton more freckles 💙
