i love AM and even strongly relate to him! how i relate to him has to do a lot with the concept of body. he longs for the creature comforts we have, and yet he has been physically denied it even before he ever had the chance to 'wake up'. he was dehumanized from birth, from the very day he was created solely for war. he doesnt know /how/ to be human or anything else that being a person might warrant, yet he wants it with quite literally every fiber of his being. as an autistic individual who deeply struggles with severe mental illness, i am personally able to relate to him regarding my own dehumanization by others
