when i was 16 i spent a lot of my free time flipping back and forth between watching supernatural and investigation discovery shows about brutal horrible gruesome murders and i seriously think it did insurmountable damage to my brain i wish i could go back in time and grab that stupid bitch by the shoulders n give her a good shake

#i’m rewatching spn now but i have the Hardest time with empathy now i get way too scared/stressed/upset for pretty much everything #so it’s going really well!! lmfao #i hate how much i sound like twitter omg i’m an empath bitches but seriously i like imagine if i was in x terrible situation n get worked up #like if i was dean winchester i’d have been off the bridge in episode one personally #anyways i wish i could warn teenagers against this shit without sounding like a boomer #i just think avoiding viewing violence young is inarguably for the best idk #i know that’s kinda a moot point from someone who just said they’re watching the violence against marginalized people show. but. still.#i just think that fucked me up a lil!!! and now i’m like trying to work thru the anxiety by proving to my brain that it’s just tv #and nothing bad is happening or will happen. so that maybe i can participate in normal media culture again sometime #no one asked for this post but here it is <3 ok bye <3 #posts
