🎆TINA’S 30TH🎆
Tina Chen was a super lowkey kinda girl. She was definitely fun and easygoing, but to be honest, she was the kind of person who enjoyed celebrating other people’s birthdays more than her own.
Suffice to say, she didn’t expect any grand celebration for her thirtieth. Everyone said it was the big one… but to her it was just another day. Another year over. Same old, same old.
Her mother didn’t seem to think so.
Mama Chen insisted on smothering her in kisses and making an elaborate breakfast and getting all their relatives to speak to Tina over the phone. It was very unlike her family to have such overt displays of affection. Perhaps they were all getting sentimental with age.
By the time she extricated herself, she was almost an hour late for work. She wasn’t too worried though. Hank was an extremely understanding boss.
But when she arrived at the station, Tina discovered utter chaos had broken out.
Nines came running up to her anxiously.
“Where on earth have you been, T! We’ve been trying to get hold of you for ages!”
She grabbed her phone and found a long series of missed calls and angry texts from Gavin and Hank and Fowler and apparently everyone in the department.
“Shit! I didn’t get any of these!! I’m so sorry! I don’t know how! I had my ringer on-”
Nines grabbed her by the elbow and steered her into a briefing room before she could finish. There was an intricate map on the projector screen and Hank was deep in the middle of an explanation.
Gavin impatiently tugged at her to sit down and shoved the case file into her lap. She opened it guiltily. All pleasant birthday thoughts receded to the very back of her mind.
Apparently a dormant serial killer had just resurfaced. His thoroughly unique MO had been identified on a body found the night before, and the DPD had reason to believe he was active and about to strike again.
Tina’s heart raced with fear and anticipation. She paid rapt attention to Hank’s instructions and soon found herself behind the wheel of a police cruiser.
She absently noted that it was the very first one she’d driven as a rookie patrol officer. Out of sheer habit, she popped open the glove compartment to retrieve her shades.
Tina kicked herself when she remembered that she’d lost her favourite rayban aviators on a recent mission… and that it would make no sense for them to be in this car anyway… but then her fingers curled around a very familiar shape. A suede leather case.
She opened it to find shades identical to the ones she’d loved and lost. Before she could think any deeper, Gavin got into the passenger seat and barked at her to drive. Tina put the sunglasses on and floored the accelerator.
At the location, Nines and Connor had already begun scoping the building and scanning evidence. Both gave her brief but tense smiles. She’d hoped Connor would at least wish her a happy birthday, but her boyfriend was busy knocking on floorboards and looking for hidden compartments.
What had she expected? Human or android, all the men she dated had turned out to be as obtuse as her father. With a sigh, Tina got on her knees and joined him.
“What do you think made him do it again?”
“You tell me, baby. You’re the one with the criminology degree.”
Their eyes met and the warmth of his chocolate brown irises made her irritation fade away. They fell into an easy pattern of swapping hypotheses while scrubbing for evidence. The whole thing was incredibly reminiscent of the first case they’d worked together on, and fallen in love while solving.
After searching the house from top to bottom, they ended up with an impressive stack of evidence. Gifts from a secret admirer intended for a hapless victim. Jewellery, red-bottomed shoes, perfume and a lot of other trinkets that were strangely to Tina’s exact liking.
The killer’s purported next mark was a mystery woman who seemed to embody Tina’s personality entirely. A shiver went down her spine as she contemplated the idea.
Just as they were about to leave the house. Nines came hurtling down the stairs with the ultimate clue. A midnight blue dress with no back. It was draped beautifully over a wire hanger, with a note attached to it.
Gavin seized the note and read aloud the place and time indicated. That very night. At the swankiest jazz lounge in Detroit. The elusive killer would make an appearance.
After ten years spent trying to catch him in vain, the DPD would finally have a clear, undeterred shot. Tina could hardly believe it.
Gavin thrust the dress into Tina’s hands. The implication was clear.
She looked at the others. Hank shrugged. Nines smiled apologetically. Connor cocked his head to the left and arched an eyebrow, as if to say… chicken?
Officer Tina Chen was many things but that’s one thing she wasn’t.
So it came to be that on the evening of her thirtieth birthday, instead of celebrating with at least a quiet glass of wine at home, Tina was squeezing herself into an evening gown and getting ready to play killer’s bait.
She considered throwing her hands up and walking away, but then her phone buzzed with a series of messages from Captain Fowler. After showing up late to her shift, she wasn’t about to risk getting into his bad books.
Tina took a deep breath and slipped on the sparkly heels found in the house… put on the big golden hoop earrings… slipped the Swarovski chain around her neck… and spritzed the expensive perfume all over her body.
She made her way into the lounge and found a place to stand. Discreet, but obvious to anyone looking. Right at the edge of the bar. As the music began and other patrons began to dance, a false sense of calm flooded her. Tina had to sharply remind herself to focus. This was an undercover mission. A big one. The whole team was counting on her.
A drink slid towards her. A lychee daiquiri.
Simple, but quite specific. It was her personal favourite. Her eyes widened but before she could ask, the bartender pointed along the bar.
Tina’s blood turned to ice.
It was time.
She went over the mission brief again and again in her head. She revised every protocol, every bit of police scenario planning, every word of caution from her senior officers.
Tina steeled herself and turned slowly.
The man was standing closer than expected. Before she could react… either fight or flight… an arm curled around her waist and warm lips pressed against her own.
Her eyes fluttered shut and Tina sank into the familiar sensation.
“Happy birthday, baby.”
Tina opened her eyes and found herself Connor’s embrace. She threw her arms around his neck and hugged him in relief.
As she looked over his shoulder, she spotted his fellow conspirators. Nines, Gavin, Hank, Fowler, Chris, Person, Sixty, Allen, the whole damn DPD it seemed… all her childhood friends… and of course… Mama, Papa and Grandma Chen. All dressed up and smiling mischievously.
Connor swiftly manoeuvred her onto the dance floor, and so began a night to truly remember.
Tina’s thirtieth.

hi cam. loved hanging here in your tumbler and podcast. and i love how you stan dianna and taylor. me too i love them both. i just want to share my idea about swiftgron.. you dont have to post this.. i just want to reach out to you, coz i know how much you love them..
this is crazy, i know, but taylor is so good at this.. ive been speculating that she and dianna been back together since 2016 but not as solid as it is, dianna is married but they patching things up.they are trying to make it work, until 2018, thats the time dianna got approved by taylors team (yup she got the approval) (thanks tree)... when dianna get divorce as she sould, thats the time theyve been ofc together as solid as rock..
so about karlie and lily and other girls.. karlie is the rebound/PR.. karlie needs taylor to boost her image for her bf josh family, as a return, she will be baited on some taylor songs, taylor knew she have a lot of gaylor fans so to protect her relationship with dianna she used karlie, taylor trusted karlie.. the bait and switch started on reputation, until lover.. when karlie fall out, lily came in (for destruction purposes). the daisy, gold, big sur-everything thats dianna. its all about dianna. when lover came out, dianna is helping taylor on some ideas about mv even in the album, they are helping each other... they have plan to come out during the lover fest. she hinted it when she release the babe.. babe is dianna, and dianna always calls taylor bluff coz she is over dramatic.
not until the masters heist happened, the plan was changed, thats the reason why taylor was very devastated during the last quarter of 2019. if the masters heist never happen it will be a circus when they came out coz a lot of celebrities are planning to back them up, i mean they will also come out so that it will not only taylor will be on hot sit, its a great plan (brie is one of them).. but didnt happen..
and so the folklore and evermore, this is the day when all my questions have been answered, especially during the long pond session.. folklore is dianna's expertly, and im sure they are writing songs together. dianna is very talented as she is, taylor knew that. in poetry, literature, music, so when they join to work together they create a masterpiece.. william is dianna for sure.. they are quarantining together,( dianna ig post during quarantine most of them are throwbacks). some songs in folklore and evermore are diannas pov.. i even hear her at back vocals on champagne problem.. the instruments used are just diannas fave.. and the grammygate, why did taylors team push to put joe as producer? and why jack and aaron have no say about it? they both know that theres someone who help in production..joe is a cover.. and it is messed up.. taylor knew its a mess but she will do anything to protect their relationship..
taylor been very private since 2016, esp today.. until no one discover about them, they will remain on hiding and writing songs.. and if the time comes that they will be outed, taylor have an escape plan, i really hope it will not reach on that situation... im really happy knowing taylor is happy right now, leaving the life they wanted and dreamed of.. outing now is not a good idea, they knew that.
one more thing, about "the man" taylor is doing that disguise since 2012 with dianna. exile is 2014 ama.. betty is taylor, james is dianna. august is michele. yep michele bday is augs.thats when met gala 2014, when taylor seen michele and di together, taylor even put that scene on wildest dream, and bury that gown on lawymmd. all the school and 17 references is about glee days.. if you will watch the EHC mv, thats sums up everything. the paris, the tents (willow) school(glee), the projector with old paris, can be seen also in the lover mv.
folklore and evermore mirrors all what theyve been through on their relationship, also with rep and lover..
dianna is very talented as taylor.. they really should get married or already did-im not sure about that though..
its just my idea.. im not claiming anything is true. its not a fanfic though.. just want to share it with you coz i know you really love swiftgron and i think swiftgron stans deserved to be happy too.. ✌✌

anon sweetie angel i’m posting this because i need to tell you this is completely untrue and you sound a little bit like… not good about all this. you sound like you have deluded yourself into this idea and it’s very conspiratal and elaborate and not based in reality.
i don’t support that kind of thinking here. it’s always ok to wonder and theorize and ofc fanfic is really fun too but there is absolutely no reason to think swiftgron has had anything going on lately.
as you know i’ve made friends in the industry and the ones run in dianna’s circle have confirmed she was really with winston marshall- he was her real husband that was not fake or for pr. the ones that know people who know or worked with taylor suggested she really dated calvin and then really did date lily donaldson (and who knows who else but during the 1989 tour she was w calvin and during rep tour she was with lily).
taylor and dianna absolutely did not quarantine together i know this for a fact. dianna was in nyc and taylor was in london.
but even without tea and bts info there is absolutely no reason to think swiftgron is together. they have been spotted one single time together since 2014 in public at snl in 2019. that is just not how this stuff works. if taylor and dianna were together they would live near one another and dianna would travel on tour with taylor (like lily did on rep tour) and they would be discreet but they would be spotted together.
the way you’re coming at this is unhealthy and unrealistic imo and out of love for a fellow swiftgron i feel compelled to tell you that. it’s fine to like the ship, it’s fine to believe they dated back in the day, it’s fine to wish they get back together, it’s fine to look for references and clues and ofc to stan them, but i don’t think it’s healthy to view it the way you are. there’s zero evidence nor tea to suggest they are together and that’s the reality we live in and it’s very important to me that people who interact with my content understand that.
i hope this didn’t come off as harsh i don’t mean it to i hope you read this in a kind tone but i do feel a responsibility to tell you this.
coming up with weird complicated and convoluted conspiracies just because you like them both just isn’t it it’s not what i want my readers to do. it’s not what the blog is for or about.

11/2: Meals and fitness for the week
Hi friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and that my friends who turned back the clock enjoyed the extra hour. (In AZ we don’t change the time and I’ve always loved that! When we lived in Georgia, North Carolina, and San Diego I was always confused about Daylight Savings.) Halloween was different than previous years, but Liv said it was her favorite Halloween yet. We still got dressed up, participated in a Trunk or Treat at the girls’ dance studio, and met up with friends for an outdoor get-together. They played Coco on a projector while the kids ran around and we ate pizza and hung out. It was perfect.

(Liv was Sia and P was a crocodile. P’s best friend was Terri from Crocodile Hunter and it was amazing.)
My original plan was to wear a pumpkin tank and leggings, but the girls were NOT into that idea. Liv said, “Mom, that’s so lame.” haha. So the Pilot and I ended up being Maleficent and the king. The girls ended up wearing the Maleficent headpiece and the king costume the rest of the weekend.
For today’s post, I wanted to share this week’s meal and fitness plan in case you’re planning for the upcoming week or looking for some new ideas. I always map out my workouts each week. Even though I almost always need to shuffle things around, it’s nice to have a general idea of what I want to do. I usually do one total body workout, one upper, one lower (or barre) and a yoga each week. Strength is the emphasis and cardio fills in the gaps, depending on what’s going on that day.
For meals, we usually wing it during the day based on our staples and I’ll plan out dinner each night. My goal this week is to make extra dinner so I can have the leftovers for lunch the following day. P helped me go through some cookbooks and pick the dinner recipes this week. The girls are huge fans of this Disney Princess Cookbook (and they can make many of the recipes themselves with supervision and a little help) so a couple of recipes are from there.
Here’s what the plan looks like!
Meals and fitness for the week:
Monday:
Workout: Total Body BODYPUMP workout (<— my link gets you 30 days free). Another option: this total body strength and HIIT
Dinner plan: Honey garlic chicken with roasted sweet potatoes and salad
Tuesday:
Workout: 45-minute low-impact hike
Dinner plan: Taco Tuesday! We love these burrito bowls with fajita veggies and chicken, black beans, rice cooked in the Instant Pot, guacamole, salsa, and cilantro.
Wednesday:
Workout: Upper body
Dinner plan: Sloppy Joe stuffed pitas from Food Babe Kitchen (similar recipe here!) with roasted broccoli
Thursday:
Workout: Hot Yoga (if you’re at home, try this power yoga workout)
Dinner plan: OUT
Friday:
Workout: 30-minute Peloton ride (if you’re at home, try a BODYATTACK or BODYCOMBAT workout!)
Dinner plan: Beast Quiche from Disney Princess Cookbook (similar recipe here) with a Caesar salad
Saturday:
Workout: Lower body

Hello! My birthday's ended on a rather... empty note,,, so I was wondering how would tfp optimus, bumblebee and ratchet would celebrate their human s/o's bday?? Thank you so much for your hard work!
(I’m so sorry this is so late!!! DX I hope these will make up for it somewhat.)
Optimus Prime:
They say Primes don’t party, but for you, he’ll make an exception ;)
When you first get to base, he gathers everyone for an important announcement. Once everyone is paying attention, he simply smiles and says it is the celebration of your creation anniversary. You flush from all the attention.
Unfortunately, he can’t spend the entire day with you, much as he might like to, but he’s going to punch Megatron extra hard in the face for making him late for your birthday.
He calls Fowler and pulls a few strings so that you can go for a ride in one of those super secret awesome newfangled military fighter planes while you wait!
He’d prefer to just spend the afternoon with you alone, going to some of your favorite vacation spots via the ground bridge, but if you wanted to stay at the base and party with the others, he’s more than fine with that.
Bumblebee:
He’s so excited he can hardly control himself!
All of the birthday parties he’s seen on tv seem like so much fun! He can’t wait to plan one for you!
He takes you into town (in holomatter form of course) and buys you nearly the entire party store. (And by “buy”, I mean he will stuff things in your cart and sheepishly wait while you go pay for them because what even is Earth money, amiright? He’ll make it up to you later, he promises.)
After you get back, he’ll start working on decorating the base. You’re more than welcome to help as well, if you like. Ratchet tries to explain that humans aren’t supposed to prepare their own parties, but Bumblebee shoos him off. You can do whatever you want. It’s your birthday. And besides, he enjoys doing fun activities like this with you.
Once the base is decorated to your liking, it’s time to start the party! Raf and Miko get one of those outdoor light show projectors and queue up a bunch of your favorite songs to play. June also arrives later on with pizza and soda because sometimes the bots forget that humans need to eat. ^___^’
Ratchet:
He acts like he’s not even paying attention to you while you drop not so subtle hints about it being your birthday. In fact, he seems even grouchier than usual for some reason.
After a while he tells you that he’s extremely busy, and he needs you to go somewhere else for a few hours. Here take the ground bridge which just so happens to have the coordinates set for your favorite place in the world. Yes, yes, what a fascinating coincidence. Now please get out.
You spend the day taking in the amazing sights around you, but it’s spoiled somewhat by the fact that you’re here alone. You plan on giving Ratchet a piece of your mind when you get back to base.
You’re left in total shock however, when you step through the ground bridge again to find the Autobots waiting for you and the entire base decorated for a party. “Surprise!!!”
Ratchet laughs and picks you up to place on his shoulders. He’s sorry for tricking you earlier, but he had to make sure that you didn’t catch on to his plans.
It’s nice to be able to see Ratchet’s fun loving side for a change. He may be a constantly stressed out doc bot, but this ambulance sure does love to party! ;)

The girls are huge fans of this Disney Princess Cookbook (and they can make many of the recipes themselves with supervision and a little help) so a couple of recipes are from there.
Here’s what the plan looks like!
Meals and fitness for the week:
Monday:
Workout: Total Body BODYPUMP workout (<— my link gets you 30 days free). Another option: this total body strength and HIIT
Dinner plan: Honey garlic chicken with roasted sweet potatoes and salad
Tuesday:
Workout: 45-minute low-impact hike
Dinner plan: Taco Tuesday! We love these burrito bowls with fajita veggies and chicken, black beans, rice cooked in the Instant Pot, guacamole, salsa, and cilantro.
Wednesday:
Workout: Upper body
Dinner plan: Sloppy Joe stuffed pitas from Food Babe Kitchen (similar recipe here!) with roasted broccoli
Thursday:
Workout: Hot Yoga (if you’re at home, try this power yoga workout)
Dinner plan: OUT
Friday:
Workout: 30-minute Peloton ride (if you’re at home, try a BODYATTACK or BODYCOMBAT workout!)
Dinner plan: Beast Quiche from Disney Princess Cookbook (similar recipe here) with a Caesar salad
Saturday:
Workout: Lower body
Dinner plan: Chicken tenders from Disney Princess Cookbook (paleo chicken tenders for me + leftovers for salad the next day), sweet potato fries and lemon garlic green beans
