It’s not all bad- I’m relatively close with the older one, Dean, since we’re both hoes for a good time and good movies/music. And of course, Castiel is a right sweetheart- showing him new human things is the sweetest experience in the whole wide world.

But you know what ruins the laughs and the nice moments? The younger brother. Sam “Little Shit” Winchester.

I don’t know how he found himself upon the moral pedestal he crafted for himself, but lord I want to remove his kneecaps and slap him with them. Little baby giraffe looking shit.

I don’t like the way he acts, plain and simple. Between the way that he treats Dean and the way that he talks so condescendingly to me- I’m about two seconds from starting a fight every time we’re in a room together for too long. He seems to feel the same way. It’s helpful in a hunt- both of us are smart enough to concentrate that anger towards our monster of the week instead of each other in the field- but now, when there’s no field to take the anger out on? Dean’s had to break up at least 3 almost-fights, and I’ve only been back on my feet for a couple months.

The boys looked especially pissy coming home today- they’d grumbled something about a “stupid fucking vampire bitch,” and went their separate ways, Sam to the med bay and Cas trailing Dean like a golden retriever.

“What’s your problem?” Sam snaps as I tug the thread on his stitches a little too roughly.

“My problem, you dick? “I think you’re a little too high and mighty there, princess,” he scowls, standing up to full height, presumably so that he can use his stature to literally look down at me.

“Yeah? Look who’s talking, Mr Morals,” I seethe, staring up at him. I snatch the needle, on my tiptoes, and hastily finish the stitching on his scar, while standing up.

“Out,” I spit as I cut the thread.

“No,” he retorts, glancing down at me through long lashes and stupidly overgrown bangs.

“What? Is five minutes away from your big head too much to ask?” my hands are on my hips. I refuse to give him the satisfaction of staring up at him, so I stare at whatever’s eye level. He’s wearing a bloodied white tank top, which is not doing much for the whole vibe we’ve got going on right now.

He bites his lower lip, still looking down through his annoyingly long lashes. And my dumb ass is attracted to it, apparently.

“Get. Out,” I say, anger laced in my words.

“No,” he says through clenched teeth. I start to turn away, as if giving up, before pulling a Dean Winchester and turning back around on my heel, punching him in the abdomen. He grunts, keeling over. “Ow!”

“You should’ve listened, you ass,” I say, looking down at him. He looks pathetic, his eyes gone wide and pretty in pain. I shouldn’t be into this, not one bit.

Keeled over, Sam is at eye level. Our gazes lock, his hazel eyes boring holes into mine, searching for something. I don’t dare waver, looking back at him with just as much intensity until he surprises me, leaning in and crashing his lips to mine. He roughly grabs my face, holding me close as he forces his tongue into my mouth, exploring. I hate how easily I give him access, I hate the way I let out a gasp against my will. By the time he pulls away I’m already leaning back in. He smirks, humoring me for one more kiss.

“How do you like me now?” he says cockily, lips plush and pink from the kisses, hazel eyes blown out by lust.

“I don’t,” I mutter, pushing him back so that he’s forced to sit on the med bay bed. His legs are spread wide, and of course I fit perfectly between them, much to my distaste. There’s little scars everywhere, and something deep down urges me to kiss every single one of them, but that can be later.

“Take off yours,” he tells me.

“Why?” I ask, trying to play smart.

By the end of the 2 hours all the kids looked ready to nap, and honestly so did most of the players. Everyone went into the locker room and the players helped the kids with their skates before they talked to the parents.

“So, how was Ethan out there?” I asked the curly headed man smiling at me.

“He’s great. Future NHL superstar I think. The next Gretzky! Forget about bedard!” He said.

“I’m glad my kids THAT GOOD.” I smiled.

“Yeah he is. How are you though? I haven’t seen you since you and Ethan visited Sarah?!” He said bringing up my sister.

also! there’s no guarantee that he can keep up his current form over the season, particularly with the imola updates which are rumoured to make the car focused more on the front end—which favours charles. already (china) charles is qualifying and finishing above him. if charles goes back to beating him comfortably that makes his bargaining power smaller. right now fresh off the aus win is the best time for him actually

2) helmet marko has basically said they have no interest in matching audi’s offer for carlos

3) the redbull seat is the most 2nd driver seat in the whole of f1 😭 history says that’s not what carlos wants, though he could settle for it

but redbull may also not want him as a 2nd driver because he comes with a very messy entourage & has shown that he isn’t a good team player. he just attacked charles at the restart last week losing them position to russell. considering the circumstances at redbull now, it is decidedly in their best interests to not sign someone who may make max unhappy. can you imagine losing max verstappen because you signed carlos sainz?? (among other reasons ofc) plus their fathers have butted heads before in toro rosso. can’t imagine jos will be very happy to see sainz sr again

from redbull’s point of view, checo is currently a better option than carlos. he won’t challenge max, he brings in sponsors & viewership from a huge country (whereas spain already has alonso), he can get those 1-2s for the team. ‘checo will fall off’ so will carlos if we’re going by past trends (e.g. post-suzuka to AD in 2023) i think if checo keeps up his current form he’ll get an extension

he will also have a really terrible time at redbull. i’m afraid max will curbstomp him

Under the Oak Tree has this special quality of somehow having no chemistry but having very interesting and compelling characters. It’s Riftan. Riftan is the issue. They want a historical series but they’re ignoring that the core appeal of a historical series is an easy meet cute of an arranged marriage, fancy social etiquette, and most importantly the fashion. Riftan isn’t a historical ML in the way people like it cause he’s not just a gentleman wearing historical inspired clothing and or armor, he’s genuinely a misogynist controlling man and I’m like 😭😟 spooky. It’s giving that one sentient gingerbread man book that was randomly set in like the Victorian era with an extremely abusive husband that’s NEVER warned about in most of the reviews.

Like you come into the series and see a FL who’s neglected and mistreated by her family and ur like dope, this is a trope since the founding fanfics of Wattpad. The trope is ex common but it’s like a Sold to One Direction kinda thing, it’s a core part of the history of modern writing. Angst is such a popular genre and people love whump, like it’s good. ITS COMMON BUT ITS GOOD. People love overdone tropes cause even if it’s done a lot it’s easy to do well. Under the Oak Tree does SO well with Maxi’s trauma and she feels like such a human character. But then Riftan is just like- The appeal of the whump is that someone comes in and comforts the person and saves them from their past life. Riftan fr just comes in picks her up without a word, no communication, no nothing, constantly angry at her because she’s fearful of him and had no idea about their engagement (despite knowing that her father hated him and wanted him dead, so there would’ve been no reason to give her hope that she’d be saved from her household by a man soon to die). He’s just not comforting or appealing outside of sex appeal and smut TT, like he literally isn’t around for the first like what? 80 chapters unless it’s getting mad at her, degrading her and telling her to just be a decoration, or smut. LIKE GIVE US SUBSTANCE. Than her distress with him all the time is so scary and unnerving TT , it literally feels like for the first 2 seasons that she’s literally just having a fawn response around him and that’s why she seems to handle his presence. Not to mention that entire arc where any time she’d try to talk to him and have a genuine conversation as partner, he’d just kiss her and shut her up which was SOOOO weird.

He’s just SOOOO. It’s so weird. They only seem to like being around after 100 chapters. AND EVEN THEN IN THE TRAVELING TO THE SEA ARC HES UNRIGHTFULLY RUDE RUDE TO HER. literally anyone who spent all of their time locked up inside and doing close to no movement besides walking around and collecting plants for close to a year would struggle with a journey like that. In fact Maxi was a whole trooper, I’ve spent a whole day on horseback before and I literally couldn’t walk the next day and I was aching for 2 after that.

The appeal of the angsty insecure protagonist with a past like that is that the new environment welcomes them with full acceptance and love. RIFTAN ISNT LOVING SHIT. HE LIKES THE IDEA OF MAXI AS A NOBLE LADY. Sure we’re likely gonna see a generic plotline later of ohhh I met you as a child and you changed meeeeeeee, forgive all my bad traits and how I hurt you let’s make out ~~~~ but NO???? I REFUSE TO TAKE THAT TBH. He causes her so much more distress and it feels like another “My Husband Who Hates Me Has Lost His Memories” , like just a female protagonist enduring extreme constant emotional distress and trauma at the hands of the male lead but we’re supposed to just support their romance because ohhhh he doesn’t know what he’s doing despite being a full adult with autonomy and the life exp and capabilities to understand his actionssss. Noooo support their romance even though he’s constantly putting her in bad situations and she’s never been as happy with him as she does with women she’s just met in that hour.

TLDR: I wish authors would stop being insane and making their status of in the closet everyone else’s issue in the historical genre. Like pls stop cooking up the most divine wlw then force feed us abusive comphet, I see you, please free yourself babe.

S2:E17 Careful What You Wish For

This is the part where we get more into the development and less into the Buddie, but i’m willing to jot down anything that seems relevant, just for you 😚 Eddie is happy, Shannon (Chris’s mom) is being present, Christopher is happy, they are having a good day at the beach, but when inevitably Shannon asks “what are we?” Eddie gets doubts, he is indecisive about making the relationship that he “always wanted” and what seems easy, official.

Eddie is working on his marriage, and asks Buck if he has to remarry since they were separated, but Buck tells him it’d be better if he asks Bobby since he’s the one who knows about that stuff.

At this point, i don’t think either of them realize they have a man-crush on each other. Wanting to kiss you friend against a wall isn’t fruity, right? we’re just really good friends 🥰

S2:E18 Life As We Choose

This is one of my least favorite episodes cause Buck gets crushed by the firetruck :”( i couldn’t help but notce that Eddie went in the ambulance ride with him, even though the paramedics (Hen and Chim) were already there and he didn’t have any need to be there. remember only one official family member is allowed to go in the ambulance, Bobby stayed behind, but not Eddie. do you think he held Buck’s hand? 😫✋

~days later~ When they’re at the station the team welcomes Bobby (after he almost got fired), and Hen says “things are finally getting back to the way they should be” and trust Eddie to look sad and say “almost” ☹️😔

When Maddie is going to take Buck to Eddie’s ceremony for finishing his probation period she says that he shouldn’t go because he should focus on his health, but Buck is keen on going and says that it is more important. and i think it’s such a cute moment when they are about to hug and they have to work around the crutches, doing like a little awkward dance.

S3:E1 Kids Today

5 months have passed and Buck is just about to get re-certified to be a firefighter, but he throws multiple clots and can’t come back, here comes the hard stuff 😭😤

When Buck refuses to get out of bed and out of his loft for weeks, Eddie (obviously) is the one who goes and forces him out. He knows how to work Buck, so he leaves Christpoher to be looked after for the day, Eddie to Chris: “he’s hanging out with HIS Buck todaaayy!” grinning so wide.

And not Buck working out his issues career wise with Chris😭 he’s such a child you guys.

S3:E2-3 Sink or Swim/The Searchers

hi guys. um… i can’t see through my tears. i have to warn you if you plan on watching season 3 be ready for the tsunami episodes, i haven’t stop crying pls send help. i don’t even know how to explain this but the way that Buck would do AND DID everything and more for Chris is just beyond words, it’s beyond Love. i can’t think of an episode that expresses what Eddie and Chris and Buck have for eachother more than this one. i saw a gif of when Eddie grabs Buck’s shoulder (after the tsunami, back in Buck’s loft, the next day probably) and OP said “if anyone worked that hard to keep eye contact with me i would have to marry them” Eddie phisically follows Bucks line of sight and reassures him that he trusts him more than anyone with his kid/life. 😭

now that the tears have dried and i rewatched the scene i can say that they are so funny together.

Buck: you want Me? to watch Christopher?

Eddie: it’s easy. he’s not very fast.

Bllk Season 2 Episode 13 Review

I’ll do two of these in a row. Just now getting to the episodes.

The ‘trance train’ speech was a little confusing. And it’s crazy to see, Rin is paying so much attention to Isagi— they’re gonna devour each other[lmao that sounds so dirty].

But this goes back to the Bluelock matches when Rin picked Isagi. He knew Isagi was gonna be a problem for him, so instead of letting him get to that point, he brought him to his own team.

So seeing Sae actually go at the whole team is crazy. Like damn none of these niggas could guard him?? And yk what Rin being upset about Sae being so far ahead of him was pretty sad, and I want their relationship to be better again, but at the same time I’m thinking there’s no time for this. Get up, win the game, and then start the flashbacks like omfg.

But, it did pay off, with him thinking about how to play like Sae, he followed Shidou’s path to get the ball. Then ofc Shidou gon kick him in the face. Red card. Ejected. Rn get him off the field. Then I’m wondering if his face is okay, cause Shidou was bout to kick the ball with all his strength.

“He grazed me” lmao mf stop lying yk that shit hurt.

Okay, now we’re finally seeing Bachira in action. I missed seeing it, and I could also tell that it feels way different. Maybe because the game is so important to blue lock, but everything that happens gets me excited.

Omg tell me why I thought he was about to have an inspiring goal centered around soccer when he said ‘I don’t care about pin-up models anymore’ then he gon turn around and say he wants a ‘the world standard’ which is a Hollywood actress😭.

Everything after that happened so fast I don’t even have an opinion. It was just like a domino effect, everything fell into place for the U20’s after Sendou saved the ball. After this, tbh I don’t even know who to say is the mvp bc they all come in clutch. And at the last second.

Thinking about Sae’s awakening, I feel like he’s really taking blue lock serious now. Maybe I’m reaching but why else would he go so hard. I mean, like I said, this game means nothing to him and I doubt it would affect his career in any way. Even if it’s only a little bit, maybe he’s finally realizing the talent of the Blue lock 11– especially Isagi. For Rin he probably still sees him as the annoying younger brother.[canonically doesn’t know why Rin is mad at him. He thinks he’s going through a phase]

Most of their relationship we see it from Rin’s POV anyways so who knows what he’s really thinking of his little brother.

STILL got my money on Isagi and that game winning go. Maybe it’s gonna be like a parallel with his first game shown— bc like how he passed and they missed— causing his team to lose the game. But now, he’s not gonna pass and he’s gonna make the shot and win the game. Yk. Some growth.

Getting out of the go kart and taking off my helmet, I look over at Addie and Luce. Grinning at them before saying “Another year and another preseason karting session where Addie loses” the comment has Luce falling to her knees laughing as she is getting out of her kart. Smiling I look back waiting for Addie’s response “Har Har, at least I know that I’ll have the best strategist in Indy Car” she shoots back with a playful roll of her eyes. The statement not being wrong as Addy has won the Indy 500 at least 3 times, and the championship at least twice in ten going on eleven seasons in Indy Car. Every year since Addie started racing in Indy Car we have raced each other in go karts before the season starts. Eleven years down and we are still doing said tradition. More often than not Luce is the one that wins. Both Addie and I always asking her why not join Formula 1 or Indy Car. To which her response is always the same, she would rather be the one to make the fastest car and call the strategies than be the one behind the wheel. The tradition is always fun and releases all the stress and anxiety of a new season. Not knowing how the cars will perform or how the other teams cars will perform. Especially this season with new car, new team, new series.

So immersed in my thoughts I barely heard Addie ask a question.. “sorry, what did you say Ads?” I ask her looking over to my right

To which she playfully turn grinned before shoving her hands in her pockets and slowing asking “How are you feeling about the season?”

“Better, the car looks good, I am excited to get it on the track and test it out.” I say with a shrug

“I think you’ll be great. What do you think of Max as a teammate? Is he nice?” I heard rumblings if some of the drivers not being happy a female is joining the grid.” Luce quietly asked as if nervous about the response

“Yeah he’s nice, he has been super supportive and helpful. I know he gives off this grumpy vibe but he’s been kind. As for the other drivers I have yet to meet the others but I’m sure I will in 2 weeks. So who knows we’ll have to see.” I tell her with another shrug. Not really wanting to think about the reactions of the other teams I will be physically meeting in two weeks.

“I know that Lando and Oscar are excited. Lando has been texting me nonstop. Between talk of the cars and trying to get me to spill all your driving secrets.. kidding on the driving secrets part. But really I think your going to have a wonderful season. Don’t worry about any of the others who are stuck in the past. You have so many people cheering you on, I promise you won’t feel alone” Addie tells me walking over before pulling me in for a hug which turns into a group hug with Luce joining in.

With a shaky voice and on the verge of tears I mumble to the girls “I am going to miss you guys so much when you leave”

“Then we’ll just have to plan out a crazy amount of episodes for the podcast.” Addie states grinning

“Yeah, just think of the content, inside scoop on the f1 grid, Nascar grid and Indy grid” Luce adds laughter in her voice. Bad thoughts and tears forgotten.

Here’s my Bridgerton post production timeline (likely wishful thinking).

March 25th - happy anniversary to season two. Maybeeeee a picture. Likely nothing and if anything they’ll give us more Queen Charlotte.

April 6th - Happy first meeting to Polin. April 6 is very important for our couple. They know this. Likely some stills or maybe BTS. I wish we’d get a teaser or even a release date but I feel like it’s too soon after completion of filming.

If we follow the timelines from previous seasons we may get notification of a release date by the end of April but I think they are hardcore pushing Queen Charlotte right now and I don’t think they’ll push anything Bridgerton related until after the release of QC except maybe some pictures 😭

Season 2 was released about four months after they finished filming and if they do what we think they’ll do and push to release on the 25th and on a Friday we could be looking at August 25th for the release. August doesn’t really hold any significance for Bridgerton that I’m aware of but the 25th does so that’s what we’re going with. If it’s sooner than August they won’t be getting any complaints from me.
