Ok, hear me out, an AU, where Anakin (45) is the CEO for a change, and his company decides to do what they do in The Intern, and hire an older person. Maybe not a retiree, but someone with limited career prospects. Cue in Obi-Wan (61), who only ever worked as a librarian, and all the libraries keep getting closed, and at his age nobody really wants to hire him anymore, because there’s younger people out there, who are further away from retirement.

Obi-Wan’s a total silver fox, and Anakin is a weak, weak person, also a workaholic with no private life to speak off. He also likes older men ok. He always has. Obi-Wan is just very confused throughout the whole thing. He hasn’t romanced anybody since his wife died 11 years before. Why is the CEO himself asking for his opinion and inviting him for coffee all of a sudden? He is just an assistant responsible for clerical tasks, using all of two fingers to type…

I was just thinking about The Intern, and my brain decided to turn it into old men romance. I find this idea very attractive, ok.
