She was constantly under a lot of stress and she couldn't remember how long it was that she hadn't had sex until he came around. Atherese crossed her arms and sunk into her seat, sighing. It was dumb. She knew how idiotic it sounded that she was going to settle for a hunk with no substance but who else was out there?

"I tried dating around, Flynn. It seems like there's no love in the city nor any decent guys so yeah. I'm gonna settle. I'm sick of the whole lonely shit thing. Her busy schedule barely makes room to hang out with friends let alone to date. She had to make time to even see Flynn. "It's better than having to use my toy every night." A bit too much to share but the woman trusted him anyway and it's not like she expected anything to happen between them. He'd been a great listener and friend. Even though she was completely oblivious to the tone he had.

“Is this the part where I’m supposed to be surprised by this news?” To say that Flynn was sick of hearing about this guy was putting it lightly. Even with the revelation she was speaking of it did nothing to quiet the jealousy that burned inside him at the topic. Usually he reacted indifferent, which was a lot for him considering the man wasn’t usually shy about what he was feeling. “If his personality doesn’t do it for you what makes you think his dick is going to do any better?”

His lip curled in disgust though it was quick. Talking about sex with Atherese wasn’t new. There was barely anything the two hadn’t discussed at one time or another. So comments on her sex life wasn’t really what drew the reaction as more that he hated that this guy satisfied her at any capacity. Not when he could be the guy to do it. “Every night?” He decided to draw more attention to that part than wanting to hear more about how he was good in bed. “Damn, you have sex drive of a 14 year old boy.” He nudged her knee with his own.

“So you’d rather settle? That’s just stupid,” he said bluntly. “Ever just think that your choices and who you go after is the problem?”
