Fun fact:

Sonic and Shadow, in Eggman's mind, must never marry.

He does everything he can to ensure that he isn't related to Sonic through marriage (Shadow is legally a Robotnik)

However, his attempts to drive them apart have the exact opposite effect on them. It has made them even more catastrophically gay for each other, and pretty soon, they will be reaching Critical levels of Homosexuality if Eggman keeps interfering.

His actions will lead directly to their marriage, and his death by rage-induced brain aneurysm.

Poor eggman. He’s gonna get sued for emotional damage in the divorce.
